Day Thirteen: Costumes
Costumes inspired by Nick and Judy from Zootopia

Jay had been planning a couples costume with Nya for the past few months now. They'd begun to make the costumes early, knowing it would be harder to make them nearer Halloween.

Nya hums quietly under her breath as she finishes painting the intricate details on the badge in her hand, gold paint staining her fingers. Gently blowing on the wet paint to dry it. Lifting the badge up to her eye level, she smiles at her work. Pulling the vest closer to her, she attaches the badge to it.

Pulling off her t-shirt, she slips on her blue button-up shirt, doing up all the buttons. She pulls the black vest over her head and ties it at the sides. Pulling on a pair of black jeans, she tucks the bottom of the shirt into the jeans. She threads the belt through the jeans and tightens it around her waist. Smiling, she pulls on a pair of black combat boots before posing in the mirror.

Heading downstairs, Nya smiles when she sees a familiar auburn haired male in a green Hawaiian shirt and dark brown jeans.

Jay turns to her and smiles. The top two buttons of the Hawaiian shirt are undone, revealing a white t-shirt underneath.

Smiling, he walks over to her and wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him. Nya smiles and wraps one of her arms around his neck. She trails her fingers down his chest and undoes the button. Jay grabs her hand before pulling her into a kiss.

"I like this," Nya murmurs into his ear when they pull away.

"Me too," Jay pulls her into another kiss.

Only one day of self-isolation left! Wooo! I still don't feel 100% but that's okay.
