Prompt: Gayle or Dareth

  "Action!"

[Camera pans out on Gayle, focusing in on Lloyd and Kai.]

Lloyd Garmadon shifted uncomfortably in his wooden chair as he tried to keep his gaze on Gayle. Unfortunately it was hard to do when there was over ten cameras shoved in his face and a light trying their very best to blind him. Kai, however, was totally comfortable. He lounged against the backrest of his seat, soaking in the attention of the camera crew as Gayle sat up straighter and cleared her throat.

  "Thank you for agreeing to this interview."

[view switches to Jay and Nya.]

  "Well we didn't exactly have a choice, you practically stalked us for a year." Nya muttered.

  Jay nudged her, forcing a nervous smile on his face as he tried not to feel intimidated. "N-no problem."

[scene switches once more to Zane and Cole.]

  "It is our pleasure." Zane said politely, his gaze flicking awkwardly to his friend and back to the interviewer in front of him.

  Cole snorted, picking his teeth with his thumb. He froze. "Wait, you aren't filming are you?"

[ switches back to Lloyd and Kai.]

  "My first question for you is simple. What is it like to be a ninja?" Gayle questioned.

  Lloyd let out a long breathe of relief, glad the question was something he could answer easily without double checking his words.

  "It's pretty great, it's rewarding." He said honestly. "Some days it gets tough though. There will always be someone unhappy, there will always be sacrifices, there will always be something that drags down from the light. But I could never stop being a ninja. I love it too much."

  Kai squeezed his teammates shoulder with a supportive smile. Pride lighting his amber gaze.

  Gayle nodded, moving down her list of questions. "Unknown sources have said that you had a brief romantic relationship with former Princess Harumi, better known as The Quiet One before she took over Ninjago, is that true?"

  Lloyd felt his mind stop. They just went from 'do you like your job' to 'lets pry into one of the most vulnerable moments of your life when you fell in love with a psychopath.' How did they do that?

  "That's confidential." Kai cut in quickly, glancing at his friend who had visibly paled.

  Gayle raised an eyebrow. "So you did?"

  "I...did." Lloyd revealed.

  "Really? How close was it?" Gayle leaned forward with interest, her glasses sliding forward on her nose.

   "I- can we please get a new question?" Lloyd stuttered.

[views switches to Jay and Nya.]

"It says here that you two had a fallout in your relationship. Something that had to do with Cole, master of earth. Can you give me the specifics on that?" Gayle inquired.

  "Excuse me?" Nya growled, shocked.

  Jay sputtered. "No- you- I...that's private!"

  "Hm..." Gayle hummed, her pen moving across the page as she glanced at them before back at whatever she was writing.

"What are you writing?" Jay jolted suspiciously, gripping his girlfriend's thigh.

No response. "Nya! What is she writing?"

[recording switches to Cole and Zane.]

  "News has it that the monastery has gone through over three hundred and fifty five renovations and repairs. Many of which were cooking issues." Gayle said professionally.

  Cole coughed uncomfortably. "Can you enlighten me on how they have been happening and why they have been so often?" Gayle continued.

  "Um...would you believe me if I said luck?"

  "No."

  "....is there a skip button?"

[Recording goes to Lloyd and Kai]

  "Fans of the ninja team want more insight on your relationships." Kai smirked and Lloyd's eyebrows almost flew off of his forehead.

  "Some have been shipping between your teammates." She continued, licking the pad of her finger before flipping her page.

  Kai's grin fell into an open mouthed expression. "Wait...what's shipping?" Lloyd tried to ask her as Gayle dived right in.

  "Greenflame is a popular ship. Can you confirm any hints of a romantic relationship between you two?"

[switches to Cole and Zane.]

  "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA." Cole doubled over, tears falling from the corners of his eyes as Zane suddenly began to freeze up, his voice glitching.

  "That's a thing?" Cole gasped.

  Gayle nodded. "Do you have any notes on any greenflame moments between them?"

  Cole started laughing again, his arms wrapping around his stomach. "I-I need to breath!"

  Zane knocked his head, jarring him out of his malfunction before turning to his friend. "Then just breath." He said like it was obvious.

[recording changes to Jay and Nya]

  "UGH!" Jay's hands flew over his ears. "Lalalallalalalalalalalalalalallalalalala- I can't hear you!"

  "Are you serious?" Nya gagged. "Oh my god!"

"We have visual proof of what could potentially be greenflame." Gayle held up her tablet, swiping through images of Lloyd and Kai out casually for lunch, getting ice cream, laughing, looking at each other, clips of Kai and Lloyd in the middle of missions.

  "These are random photos! You can't just say their romantic!" Nya snapped.

  Gayle scowled. "What about this video? You can't argue against this!"

  The clip played of Kai running into the hospital carrying Lloyd bridal style as blood dripped from an open wound.

  "He's bleeding! How else is he going to carry him?" Nya screeched. "Over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes?"

[switches back to Kai and Lloyd.]

  Silence.

  Gayle raised an eyebrow at the two before her. The two ninja had shifted a considerable amount away from each other. Lloyd was staring straight ahead at the light, hoping it would blind him so that they had to rush out of there. Kai swallowed uneasily and his eyes were turned to the side.

  "Do you not support gay romantic relationships?" Gayle prodded.

  "No! I mean, yes we support gay romantic relationships." Lloyd rushed in. "It's just...I...we..."

  "HE'S MY FREAKING BROTHER!" Kai blurted so loudly Lloyd jumped.

[camera moved to Cole and Zane]

  "Since you revealed to be a Nindroid does that mean you are unable to feel emotions?"

  Zane's brow furrowed. "No. That theory is not justified. The evidence shows that I have emotions since I am now feeling confused."

  "You tell 'er buddy." Cole nodded in agreement.

  "Is it true that you and your father have a rocky relationship?"

  "SKIP!"

[camera zooms in on Wu]

  Wu sipped his tea with a slurp and a satisfied sigh of pleasure. Uncomfortable silence. He glanced up, wide eyed.

  "Was I supposed to say something?"

Sorry this came out way later than the eleventh. It's actually double that so...I don't know maybe that's close-ish? I just the ought of this funny idea after getting inspired by a book by I believe it's penandpathways where they did something like this.

Also I do not mean to offend greenflame shippers. I sort of like the idea I guess. I just personally see them as brothers and I thought it would make good comedic content.

Also I'm not homophobic, again I just see Kai and Lloyd as brothers so I thought it would be funny.
