Love (is a) Curse

A/N

Just to make things easier to understand, the following story takes place when the guest lectures have already begun in Gusu…the students and especially Lan Zhan and Wei Ying are around sixteen or seventeen years old.

************

Lan Zhan wishes the guest lectures were over already.

Then, maybe this horrible tightness in his chest will go away and he can return to normal. Normal for him is writing out text, practising calligraphy, marking student papers, playing on his guqin and visiting his bunnies.

It is not coming to terms with the most horrible truth:

Lan Zhan has fallen in love.

He knows what it is.

Unfortunately.

And worse….because his heart has no discernable taste, it has picked the worst candidate possible.

A beautiful boy who has stars for eyes, and a smile brighter than sunshine. It is blinding and powerful as it strikes Lan Zhan’s heart every single time.

A boy who walks the knife's edge of rules and proprietary, who constantly pushes back at him…a parasite that has wormed his way into the core of Lan Zhan’s heart. No…that isn't true…Lan Zhan thinks. The boy hasn't asked for anything in return…he has only given everything freely.

Lan Zhan cannot help but lament this.

He never asked for this interruption to his life, he never asked to fall in love…and yet it happened with the speed of an avalanche, fast and unstoppable, obliterating everything and anything in its path.

It isn't fair, he thinks stubbornly, kicking stones out of his way.

Why does it have to be him?

He kicks another stone in petulance.

Wei WuXian…Wei Ying, as he has asked Lan Zhan to call him, gives him a strange look.

They are walking side by side….Well, Lan Zhan is walking. Wei Ying is sort of bouncing along exuberantly, as if he has too much energy to be contained in that body. He is so animated, so alive, that Lan Zhan cannot help but look at him. His eyes are drawn helplessly towards this person who has absolutely no idea of his feelings.

To even think about telling him is enough for Lan Zhan to break out in hives.

He shudders involuntarily.

Wei Ying bounces back to him, and oh, horror of horrors…he's touching him!

Wei Ying has grabbed Lan Zhan’s arm, and is pointing excitedly at a cluster of beautiful bluebells swaying in the night breeze.

"Shameless!" Lan Zhan sputters out, trying to ignore the acceleration of his heart.

It is pounding almost painfully and he has to wonder if he has caught an illness.

He shakes the beautiful boy off, though it hurts him to do it…and he is not prepared to see the hurt in Wei Ying's eyes, either.

"You always say that…" Wei Ying says suddenly, but even though he looks like he was going to say something else, he suddenly stops and looks around.

This time when he turns back to Lan Zhan, his smile is too bright…as if he doesn't really mean it, and Lan Zhan can tell the difference.

He doesn't like this one…it feels fake.

Did he really hurt the boy?

He isn't sure now and regret burns like a slow poison in his veins.

Maybe he shouldn't have said that…or in that way. Perhaps…he should have been kinder…

But Wei Ying looks normal as he runs all the way in front and waits there.

Lan Zhan sees him nod to himself…and he's concerned.

His mind, because it's always on Wei Ying, has come to realise that the boy doesn't waste movement. If he feels anything at all, it will be expressed. And right now, Wei Ying is thinking about something.

Lan Zhan does not feel anything until he arrives by Wei Ying’s side…and then…that's when he can sense the lurking aftertaste of a weak curse.

It is dissipating…as if it has met a barrier.

So Lan Zhan doesn't think anything of it.

He discreetly checks out Wei Ying, who seems to be fine, just quieter than normal.

Although…it is not such a wonderful relief as Lan Zhan had thought it would be.

In fact, once this night hunt is over and they are returning to Cloud Recesses, Lan Zhan comes to the startling realisation that he doesn't like it, Wei Ying being so uncharacteristically silent.

It is unusual.

He hates it.

They part ways when they reach the guest disciple quarters and Lan Zhan’s path leads away from there.

He pauses.

"Wei Ying?" He hates saying that name. He loves saying it too.

Wei Ying stops and turns around, his smile brighter than a thousand suns.

Lan Zhan is never prepared for how badly it affects him.

And the useless organ in his chest seems to be broken.

"Lan Zhan?" Wei Ying comes back.

The closer he gets, the faster Lan Zhan’s heart beats. It's like a bunch of tiny deaf people using it as a drum with no idea how erratic it sounds.

Lan Zhan can feel his ears burning and is glad it is dark now.

There is a little dignity left…

"Are you alright?" Lan Zhan has to ask.

He cannot get rid of the feeling that something is wrong…and it has something to do with Wei Ying.

And just like that, the smile changes.

It is…almost as if it is forced.

Lan Zhan doesn't like this one as much and prefers the first one.

He wonders if there is more going on inside this seemingly carefree boy.

"I'm fine." He insists, but now his eyes will not meet Lan Zhan’s.

Lan Zhan wishes for…what?

But before he can think too much about this, Wei Ying waves and hurries indoors.

Lan Zhan is left looking after him…deep in thought.

*********

Wei Ying knows he doesn't have much time.

He spotted the curse way before anyone else and since it didn't seem malicious, he was curious as to what would happen to him, so he went ahead and took it upon himself.

Now, he waits until Jiang Cheng falls asleep before grabbing his blanket and running out of the door as quietly as he can.

He pauses outside the Jingshi…he can't hear anything and thinks perhaps Lan Zhan has gone to sleep. He doesn't question why this seemed like a good idea, to come to the one person who might hate him more than Shifu…although it may well be a tie.

But the overriding sense of safety he feels with Lan Zhan is what ultimately decides it for him.

Luckily, the door is not locked nor warded, though both of those would have only delayed his presence inside the Jingshi. Wei Ying goes to the little table where he's sure Lan Zhan keeps parchment and ink, and more importantly, a candle.

First, he writes a protection talisman on the back of his hand: he wants to remember everything that happens, even if he has no control over the coming events. He watches it disappear into his skin and smiles…that was the easy part.

Now he takes the blank parchment and begins to write.

Quickly.

**************

The next morning, Lan Zhan opens his eyes and knows immediately that something…is different.

He feels too good…if that's possible.

There is a warmth right next to him…and when he goes to remove the covers off himself, there is a whine of protest and straight away he is alerted to another presence in the bed with him.

For a few seconds, Lan Zhan doesn't move.

He is too shocked.

How did this person get in? This is the Jingshi…isn't it? He looks around to make sure.

And that's when he spots the extra blanket and a note written on his table.

So there are three things, which definitely were not here last night, when he went to sleep.

He can see the mop of curly dark hair leaning on his stomach and is…is that a tiny hand? It's pudgy and round with dimples in between the soft knuckles…and as Lan Zhan sits up with a protective hand on the head…he gets a whiff of lotus flowers.

Wei Ying…?

No….how could it be?

He's being silly.

It is time for meditation and although for the first time in his short life, Lan Zhan doesn't want to, he gets up without jostling the tiny form.

It grunts in protest.

Lan Zhan quickly makes a nest around it, putting his still warm pillows around it to make it feel safe, and tucking the blanket more securely around the soft body.

Then he goes to read the note.

"Dear Lan Zhan,

I'm sorry to do this to you…I know you don't like me but I couldn't think of anyone else who might be able to help. I think you may have guessed that when we were coming home last night, there was a curse. I didn't know what it was going to do and I'm running out of time now.

From what I can tell, it's not going to last more than a couple of days…if my family ask about me, can you please tell them something that won't make them worry…my ShiJie…anyway…

Wei Ying "

It looks like he tried to write something else at the bottom but the brush must have slipped from his fingers because there's a blob of ink only.

Lan Zhan looks under the table and sees the brush….and then tiny little footprints that lead up to his bed.

He keeps the note in his hand and goes back to the bed, trying to process what has happened.

That…in his bed…is Wei Ying.

Lan Zhan doesn't know how to feel about that.

There is mild panic clawing at his throat and he decides to release it.

It comes out as a muted shriek.

There is a knock on his door.

Lan Zhan feels a little bit better…but the baby is still there…so, no.

The knock comes again and when he opens the door, it's his brother who walks in.

"What's wrong?" He asks immediately.

Lan Zhan hands him the letter and points to his bed.

He feels violated.

And then, to his abject horror, the baby wakes up.

It struggles for a bit and then sits up, sucking its thumb and staring up at him, with huge silver eyes which belong on another face.

This baby is just as beautiful…so much cuteness is there that Lan Zhan feels a pang of familiarity.

He's seen this kid before…when it was a bit older.

He remembers a really cold day and the first snow fell; to celebrate, Shifu had taken both Lan XiChen and himself into Yiling and bought Lan Zhan a little drum.

Lan Zhan loved it so much…for all of five minutes.

Only because he saw a little child run into an alley and something had compelled him to follow behind him. And then, he saw the child pull out three straw dolls, obviously made by himself. Two were slightly bigger than the littlest doll.

He remembers the child affectionately kissing the two big ones.

"Mama, Baba…don't worry. I'm not hungry. I'll eat tomorrow."

Lan Zhan doesn't know why he does it, but he remembered going up to that little kid and giving him his drum. He had nothing else to give.

The smile the boy rewards him is…priceless.

It is bright, full of joy and happiness.

It is the same smile which belongs to Wei Ying.

For the second time today, Lan Zhan is shocked.

And the sun hasn't even risen yet.

"Didi…it will be better if you look after him until the curse wears off." His Xiongzhang is saying.

For a moment, Lan Zhan thinks he's still dreaming.

There's no way that those words came from those lips.

It could only be a fiction made up by his tired brain, a brain that is exhausted because ever since outsiders arrived in his home, he hasn't known a second of peace.

Lan Zhan wills himself to wake up. Now would be an excellent time to do that.

He pinches himself.

Nothing changes.

XiChen is still looking at him, and if anything, there is amusement lurking in those honey-coloured eyes.

"You have to admit, Wei WuXian only felt safest with you….and just look at him!" With that, XiChen moves to the bed enthusiastically and sits next to the baby.

The baby looks at him uncertainly.

"Hello." XiChen says to it.

The baby waits.

But, the moment that XiChen tries to get closer, even attempting to touch him, BabyXian lets out the loudest noise ever heard in the Jingshi and his beautiful gem-like eyes sparkle with unshed tears. He raises his arms to Lan Zhan and cries.

Lan Zhan has never seen his Xiongzhang back off as fast as that. In fact, he even has one foot outside the door.

"I'll go and inform Shifu." He says, before running away.

Lan Zhan hates him for that.

He doesn't know what to do, and the noise is only getting louder.

He needs peace and it's really too early for this. But he takes courage from the fact that the baby seemed to want to come to him. He goes to his bed and holds his arms out, instead of initiating contact.

The baby, clutching his blanket, crawls into his lap and the noise mostly stops. There are only sniffles now.

Lan Zhan pulls out his white handkerchief, the one with the bunnies embroidered on the corner, by his mother. Softly and carefully, he wipes the baby's face. He is surprised when the baby lets him do this, even lifting his round face so that it's easier for Lan Zhan to do.

And then, it falls asleep.

Right there, in his lap.

Lan Zhan feels something go terribly soft inside himself.

Soft and squishy.

He finds he can get up and sit at his table, without disturbing the child.

He should be working; since meditation is out because of the lump in his lap, he starts marking papers.

But he cannot concentrate.

This baby is far too cute, even asleep as it is.

His round cheeks are pokeable and Lan Zhan is dying to do that…but not while it's asleep. He gets the feeling that this baby is rather like his bunnies.

It's this thought that makes him feel much better.

A few years ago, Lan Zhan had discovered wild bunnies roaming in the back parts of Cloud Recesses, and ever since then, he's made it a part of his every day routine to go and feed them, play with them and generally spend quality time there. He wonders if BabyXian would like to go and visit them afterwards.

BabyXian is surprisingly good.

Lan Zhan is looking nowhere except at him…he really is beautiful.

His big eyes are closed for now, with long lashes curling upon round, rosy cheeks. He has a sweet innocence on his face, his forehead and cheeks larger as babies are prone to. His lovely hair is curlier than normal, tied up with his red ribbon.

Lan Zhan just wants to protect him.

He is swamped by waves of this feeling, stronger than the love that he feels for his bunnies. It is in no way of a romantic nature; rather, it is more of a nurturing feeling.

Perhaps born from how peacefully BabyXian is sleeping in his arms, Lan Zhan feels more and more content.

It is almost midday when two things happen.

There is a knock on the door and after Lan Zhan calls out permission to enter, he is surprised to see his Uncle.

His uncle settles down opposite him, stroking his beard.

Lan Zhan sometimes wonders if there's a little critter hiding in there, ready to peep out at any time.

Shifu never comes here, not without good reason.

He is looking at BabyXian.

Lan Zhan moves his billowing sleeves around so that BabyXian is no longer visible, hidden under swathes of soft silk.

The action does not go unnoticed by Shifu, who frowns.

"He cannot stay here." Shifu says.

Lan Zhan wants to argue.

But before he can say anything, there's a sound.

It's definitely wind.

It has come out of BabyXian. And there's a smell…

Lan Zhan holds his breath and pretends nothing is wrong.

Shifu is watching.

Neither blinks.

Shifu is the colour of the reddest tomato Lan Zhan has ever seen.

In fact, if he doesn't breath soon-

"Better take him to the wet nurse. She can change him." Shifu says, making a hasty exit.

Lan Zhan leaves the door open of the Jingshi because fresh air should help, right?? And goes to visit the healers.

BabyXian wakes up, mid-change. His swaddling clothes are exchanged for clean ones, while Lan Zhan hovers, having turned away because it was rude…in his mind. When BabyXian makes a noise of discomfort, he holds out his hand and BabyXian takes his little finger, holding it in a surprisingly strong grip. He settles after that.

Lan Zhan ignores the strange, almost bemused looks he receives from the people who have helped him.

"What are you going to feed him?" One of them asks, just as Lan Zhan picks up his little charge.

Lan Zhan hadn't thought of that.

It must show on his face, because she leans in to whisper.

"Go and ask the cook for congee. It's easy to swallow and filling for little tummies."

Lan Zhan nods his thanks and strides towards the kitchens.

The kitchen staff make a fuss about BabyXian while they cook two bowls of congee. Lan Zhan is worried about the baby, but it doesn't mind so long as they do not try to take him away.

This time, it is Lan Zhan who holds onto him tightly and this seems to reassure BabyXian that he is safe here. This makes both of them much happier.

And then, while the women coo at the cutest baby in the world (Lan Zhan is smug about this), he gets to feed it.

BabyXian doesn't seem to mind opening his mouth for Lan Zhan, and every time he does, Lan Zhan feels ever so humbled that he does. In his beautiful silver eyes, there resides so much trust that Lan Zhan feels overwhelmed. BabyXian is not even blinking, just staring into his eyes and patiently waiting for the next spoonful of congee. The cook has added a dollop of honey and BabyXian actually smiles as the sweetness hits his cute little tongue.

Lan Zhan wipes his face for him often…feeding babies is messy, but he finds he doesn't mind.

Midway through the meal, BabyXian stops his hand and pushes the spoon towards Lan Zhan’s mouth. Lan Zhan is so surprised, he almost misses.

After that, a game begins and Lan Zhan starts to have fun. In fact, they were both having fun and when Lan Zhan manages to outwit him and lands a spoon in his mouth, BabyXian laughs.

They are both surprised by this.

"Gen, gen!" BabyXian demands with a toothless smile.

Lan Zhan is astonished that he is having a good time.

It is no burden at all that BabyXian is here and they are playing whilst completing a necessary task.

But all things must come to an end, and when there's only a tiny bit left in the second bowl, BabyXian decides he's had enough. He raises his arms up in a grabby way, smiling widely at Lan Zhan.

Lan Zhan has plans for sweet BabyXian.

This afternoon, he's going to show him something fun.

Carefully, he lifts him up and BabyXian grabs his robes and plants the wettest kiss he can on Lan Zhan’s cheek.

His ears flame red and BabyXian squeals with glee.

"Kith, kith!" He squirms in Lan Zhan’s arms, trying to get closer.

How is it that even as a baby, Wei Ying is such a menace!

"Bunnies!" Lan Zhan quickly says, twisting him around so he faces outwards, his back towards Lan Zhan as he carries BabyXian in haste towards the back hills of Cloud Recesses.

He finds that BabyXian squirms less if Lan Zhan keeps talking to him. When he spots a group of wildflowers swaying in the soft breeze, Lan Zhan thinks about the irony of this, when he points it out to Wei Ying.

Didn't Wei Ying point out some bluebells to Lan Zhan last night? Moments before he had gone running ahead. Lan Zhan suddenly remembers that Wei Ying had paused…and then the letter…he must have arrived last night…before the curse came into effect.

That can only mean one thing:

Wei Ying knew about the curse.

And got there before it could get to Lan Zhan.

Wei Ying saved him.

Lan Zhan stumbles at this.

He gathers Wei Ying closer now and BabyXian is on his best behaviour suddenly. He is calm and good all the way until they reach the bunnies.

Lan Zhan should really know better by now.

Just as he's about to put BabyXian down to wait for the bunnies, BabyXian grabs his face and plants another kiss, this time…right on his lips.

Pleased with himself, he throws his head back and laughs like the demon he is…and Lan Zhan….Lan Zhan is too stunned to move.

BabyXian sees his face and stops laughing immediately.

His chubby arms come around Lan Zhan’s neck and he hugs him tightly.

"XianXian thowi! XianXian thowi!!" His pleas are desperate.

Lan Zhan hugs him properly now, rubbing his back.

"It's alright. I am alright." He reassures the baby and only after five minutes of cuddling is the baby satisfied that he is forgiven. "Look, we have to be quiet now." He says to BabyXian. He puts a finger on his own lips, and BabyXian nods seriously.

This kid…he's really too cute!

They wait for about five minutes before Lan Zhan realises he has forgotten something very important. He pulls out a bag of hay and scatters it around BabyXian, who is watching him avidly, whilst playing with his toes.

Lan Zhan wonders how amazing it is, to be able to spot the little things in his mannerisms which he has seen in the grown-up version of Wei Ying. The way BabyXian tilts his head just so, as his ponytail swings from side to side, and when the vivid red ribbon catches his eye, he takes the end and starts chewing on it.

He is animated even when he's supposed to be quiet and still.

Lan Zhan has another revelation.

Wei Ying is just like that.

His normal is to fidget, or move or do something…and it's not a fault. Some people are just born that way.

Until now, Lan Zhan had honestly thought Wei Ying was doing it on purpose, whether to catch his attention…or…or…something.

It is freeing to finally understand this.

Lan Zhan feels that he has wronged Wei Ying by jumping to conclusions about him, about his behaviour. And he remembers again, that wounded look just before the beautiful boy went and took the curse for him.

Beautiful Wei Ying.

Selfless Wei Ying.

So easily made happy…and yet all Lan Zhan had done was admonish him about himself, made him feel bad.

His attention is captured by a bundle of fluff as it moves towards BabyXian, because Lan Zhan has made him a target.

It is not the only one.

More follow the scent of the food as they come towards BabyXian, who is holding his breath because he has been told to be quiet.

Lan Zhan is sitting next to him, watching BabyXian vibrate with joy as the snuffling, shuffling soft cotton fluffballs come closer and closer, twitching their noses. Lan Zhan waits and then gently takes BabyXian's hand to put it on the rabbit closest to him.

BabyXian wants to squeal.

It is building inside him.

But he cannot!

Bunnies!

He must not!

He knows this but his tiny body cannot help it and the sound comes out!

The bunnies scarper, running and hopping away and now BabyXian is sad.

He really tried to keep the joy bottled up inside…but it wouldn't stay…and now his bottom lip is quivering and his eyes fill with tears…

Suddenly, Lan Zhan scoops him up and holds him close, unable to see him crying. Even that expression on such a happy baby…it was torture of the highest order and Lan Zhan isn't that strong.

He laments that he now has another weakness: BabyXian.

BabyXian loves hugs.

He calms immediately and Lan Zhan has good news for him.

The bunnies came back.

**************

The rest of the day is filled with more cuddling, more congee and finally, finally…BabyXian yawns.

Lan Zhan is relieved.

He has been playing nonstop, the song he has perfected for the person he has fallen in love with, the person who has heard it play at least twenty times; Lan Zhan has lost count. Lan Zhan is so tired.

He hadn't wanted Wei Ying to hear this…not this soon.

It is a private thing, something only for himself…but BabyXian saw his guqin and immediately wanted to check it out. Lan Zhan will forever remember the look on BabyXian's face when that first note rang out.

The simple magic of it.

BabyXian understood.

His silver eyes were wide in awe, mouth open in wonder.

And when Lan Zhan finished playing for the first time, his cute lovely voice rang out with, "Gen! Gen!"

Lan Zhan had already worked out that BabyXian meant 'again'.

Lan Zhan is so tired, and he was glad that forethought had made him go and change BabyXian before now, straight after he had eaten.

Now he didn't even bother changing their clothes; straight into bed they went and fell asleep holding each other.

************

The next morning, Lan Zhan was in for another surprise.

BabyXian is a little older.

Yesterday, BabyXian was around three years old, Lan Zhan would have guessed. This BabyXian is around six.

He still sleeps until midday which Lan Zhan is expecting. This time, Lan Zhan had anticipated that BabyXian will be hungry when he wakes, and has breakfast ready for him with heating talismans.

This BabyXian is a little more serious.

Yesterday's BabyXian was carefree and joyful…this one seems a little wary.

Or maybe…it is Lan Zhan who feels wary.

Once they are done with eating and getting ready, Lan Zhan pulls out a book suitable for Babies to learn from.

BabyXian is interested at first, but when he hurtles through the exercises super fast, Lan Zhan pulls out an advanced book for older students.

By the end of that, Wei Ying looks almost bored.

Lan Zhan pulls out a book for teenagers.

BabyXian likes this one.

Lan Zhan is doing his own work quietly, when BabyXian speaks.

"Why don't you like me, ZhanZhan?"

Both the untruth, and the too familiar nickname bring a blush to his ears.

The child is not scared of honesty.

"I like Wei Ying." Lan Zhan says, carefully.

BabyXian's face shows that he is not impressed with that lame answer.

"But…you always shout at me. You say horrible words. I…I just want to be your friend." His lip wobbles dangerously.

Lan Zhan gets the feeling that a hug will be premature and ill-received if he offers one now. Here, only the truth will do.

"I am sorry if I shouted at you." He says sincerely. He's surprised because somehow, it's easier to talk to Wei Ying like this…it is simpler. Lan Zhan isn't sure how complicated this discussion can get but he's going to do his best.

Mostly because he wants to rectify this wrong assumption Wei Ying has that he is hated and while Lan Zhan cannot in any capacity tell him the truth and confess…because it would be wrong on so many levels…but he feels he can and should try his best to clear some things up.

"Wei Ying…" he reaches across and covers Wei Ying’s hand with his own. His hand is so much bigger, dwarfing the much smaller one of the child. "I do not know how to be around you…that is why I shouted…but it was a mistake. I am sorry." He repeats himself.

Wei Ying is listening intently.

"Why do you have to be like this, or like that around me? Why can't you just be Lan Zhan? I can be Wei Ying. We can be friends." He insists again.

"I think you are right." Lan Zhan says. "What if we start again? Will you give me a second chance? I would like to be your friend." Once again, Lan Zhan is astonished at himself.

Like this…it's so easy.

Much easier to talk to Wei Ying like this.

It is a raw conversation, with all the frills of etiquette peeled away to reveal the bare bones of what is important to both of them.

"I like second chances." Wei Ying says. "But I like hugs." He admits, and the fear is back in his eyes.

"I like hugs too…but only with Wei Ying." Lan Zhan feels like this needs to be clarified, so that there are no misunderstandings.

"Then,..I will only hug ZhanZhan." He says solemnly. "And Jiang Cheng and ShiJie." He adds as an afterthought. He stands up. "Let's seal it with a hug."

Without question, Lan Zhan opens his arms.

Wei Ying comes and hugs him tightly, and this time Lan Zhan hugs him because he wants to.

This child…so innocent and full of childish joy and love…he is a gift.

For whatever reason this happened, Lan Zhan is glad because over these two days, he feels as if he was able to change…to become more accepting of change.

No matter what happens tomorrow, he knows that this second chance is the best thing to happen to him, and he is not going to waste the opportunity.

Tomorrow…or whenever Wei Ying returns to normal, Lan Zhan is going to be different.

First and foremost, Lan Zhan is going to be his friend.

THE END

A/N

Dear Fabulous Readers,

This story prompt came from the most delightful person @DayNight139 who asked me to write a Wei Ying deageing fic and this is what I came up with…what do you think?

It was a lovely experience for me too.

This fluffy book is where I come to get away from the other (tons) of stuff I have to do and I love writing for this one, without a doubt my favourite book…

And credit where it's due, I stole a line from a very good friend of mine, and hopefully she won't mind. Her name is @chocolatewithtea and please go checkout Red Light. Her book is so, so good! It's incredible!

This is also a birthday gift for a very special person edzooc8r

Hopefully, Wattpad will have stopped glitching and all of you can see this! Fingers crosses and eat lots of chocolate 🍫 😋!

Charlie.
