"Hey cy, where did u get your hourglass?"

Questions, after questions asked by the cat elf to the young starsoul magician... different topics everytime.....
Some might find it annoying, but it isn't for him.

He has always liked the cat elf. But it was not the same for the cat elf, for she loved another... and sees the magician as her best friend.

Although it hurts, knowing that their friendship will never be more than friends. Her company, her laughter, and  her affections are worth the pain....

"Cy!!!!! Cyclops!!!!!" She says while running towards him. Her high pitched voice made cyclops turn his head from the book he was currently reading. "I finally did it!! I managed to get him to go on a date with him !" Nana exclaimed, her voice filled with joy. "Oh really? That's great! I knew you can do it" he says faking his joy. "Speaking of which your birthday is in a few days isn't it? I wanna ask you what you might want for your birthday. Because i honestly don't know what to give you." He says changing the topic.

"Hmm....... i don't know....." Nana says . She thinks for a moment before saying "can i have your hourglass?". "Uh... *ahem* what?" Cyclops says confused and kinda startled. "Haha... jk... i just thought it looks so pretty and if i could have one like that it would be cool. But i guess you can't make it anymore. Im sure whatever gift you're gonna give me is amazing." She says giving cyclops a sweet smile that melts off cyclops heart. He loves seeing her smile. And if anyone makes that smile fades away, he'll make them pay.

"Oh! I forgot to mention, the date is also on my birthday! So if you really don't know what to give me, you don't have to. Because of all the encouragement you gave me, i can finally achieve mu dream of being with him. Thank you so much for all your support cy, i truly apreciate it." Her words sounding sincere. And with her smile topping it off, cyclops should be happy. He should be happy to find that Nana is happy. But a part of him is just..... unhappy with all the decisions he has made. It felt like all those happiness wasn't really because of him.

"Y.. yeah. You're welcome."

"Anyways, i need to go.it's getting late. See you tomorrow cy!" She says followed by her drifting off to her house.

"I have to make her happy. Happy because of me. And not him. I'm going to find a way to create the hourglass in a safer way...." he thought. Why in a safer way you might ask? Well. Dwelling with the power of the universe does not always end well. The first time he did it was a lucky success. And he is quite unsure if he is able to do it again. But he is too determined to make her happy and he is willing to do anything to make it happen.

Days passed. Tomorrow is Nana's birthday. Cyclops is still searching for a way. But his search is still bearingno fruit. He has asked for help from digger, and master rooney. But none of them knew because he is the only one that's dwelled with the power of the universe before.

"*sigh* im never going to find a way.... should i just try and make something else?. Aaaaaarrrghhh.!!!! I don't know!!" He shouts in defeat as his plan did not work out. Then an idea pops into his head, he quickly chanted a time travel spell digger taught him. He wants to see what happens in the date and see if Nana is attracted to something aside from.. that person. And maybe just to get some inspiration to what he could give her. 

When he succesfully travelled.to the next day, he saw Nana. But something looks off.. where's her date? He travelled to around at noon which should be the time the date starts but he is still not there. After a few munites, Nana seems like she is starting to look for her date. With cyclops following her from a distance. "Where is he? Why is Nana on her own?" Cyclops started to rage a little. Seeing her like that made his heart ache. And then he saw her aproached someone. And then she bolted away. Crying. He is furious seeing that someone actually hurts Nana. He saw that Nana's date was with another girl. He wanted to go over to him and throw his huge ass hourglass to his face. But he knew he shouldn't mess with time.

Instead, he chased Nana and saw Miya talking to Nana. And decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Nana? What's wrong? Why are you crying? Aren't you supposed to be on a date?" Miya asked her vioce sounds concerning for her friend's state. "H... he... he ditched me. I saw him with someone else. W... when.. i asked him... why didn't he show up for the date, he.. he says that he lied to me... he..... he.. says that im stupid for believing... t.. that.. he would g.... go on a date with me..... and .... t.. that.. he w.. would n.. never... want to .... to.. be.. seen with a f.. freak... like.. me...." Nana says while crying her eyes out. "WHAT? HOW COULD HE?" ------------

Cyclops immidiately goes back to the present. Anger was all he was feeling. The thought of Nana being sad. And that someone actually dares to hurt the one he loves the most just like that. "I need to interfere. I can't see Nana like that. Im sorry Nana, but this is for your own good. I need to stop the date."

>>The next morning<<

Cyclops didn't exactly know what to do. What is he going to do to convince Nana to cancel the date. He thought hard, but nothing came in mind. And he was running out of time.

"*huff* *huff* N.. Nana! Wait!" He calls while struggling at breathing after running to catch up to Nana. "What is it cy?" She asked. "I just thought that you might want to hang out today? Since it's your birthday, we can have a small party and--" "whaat?? Haha.. did you forget? Today is the day of my date. I've been waiting for a long time for this day." She says cutting off Cyclops. "You can cancel. It, you know, there's plenty of other chances you can ask him agai  in a later day." He says lying . Because if he were to tell ger the truth that he went to the future and spies on her, she might think that Cyclops didn't trust her. And he didn't want that. "Cancel? I can't just cancel it. It would be rude." "It'll be fiinee, im sure he'll understand. Right? So we can just hang out instead." Cyclops said lying still trying to convince her. "What..? What are you talking about. You're usually so supportive. Why are you suddenly like this?"

(A/N: sorry if Nana sounds like a brat in my story.. im a beginner...)

"Trust me, Nana. You Don't want to attend the date. Please, just trust me." He says now sounding desperate. "How can i trust you now that you're saying weird things? I do want to go. Cy why are you suddenly like this? You were supporting me all the time before, and suddenly you're agaisnt me going? What? I don't understand you."

Aa she kept on questioning why. And why. Cyclops' heart is breaking ever so slowly as her best friend actually stops believeng in him. But if he were to say the truth now, he is afraid that things are going to get worse. Because spying on someone else is not something you should be proud about.

And then it snaps.

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU NANA."

He just blurted it out. Unintentionally. He didn't even expect it to come out, it's like his mouth is eager to let her know, after all the accusations of him.

"......"

Nana just stops. Silence filled the air..

"Hah.. haha.... i don't understand you at all." She says breaking the silence. "So you're telling me, you're against me going. Because you love me now?"

No replies.

"So now you regret supporting me? Are all your words really what it meant? Are you just playing with me? What is this so called "friendship" anymore?"

"Why aren't you saying anything?"

......

"I... im sorry.." Cyclops says his heart now fully broken. As his bond, his friendship, and the smile that helps him conquer his problems, all gone. By a simple mistake.

"*sigh*... it's too late now." She says. Clearly sounding very dissapointed.

"I... im sorry for being selfish. I....."

She left.

"I can't believe i trusted him. After all this time he was playing with me?" She thoughts as she was still waiting for her date. "Where is he? There's no way that something bad'll really happen like what cyclops says". As time went on, Nana became impatient and started to look for her date. After walking around the site for a while she spotted a familiar male. Let's say his name is skv. (A/N:i don't wanna ship anyone with nana except cyclops. Narley is possible but... naaaahh harley is meant for cy. And metta, if ur reading this. You might laugh at the name skv XD) but the exact same scenario happened. Everything that cyclops saw, really happened. Skv is just a jerk who likes to humiliate other girls he's not into. (A/N the real skv isn't like this tho. The real skv is arel's bf)

That night Nana was crying her eyes out, she realised how stupid she was. Cyclops will never betray her. She should've known that. Yet she stupidly choose the one that was never been by her side this whole time. Now she has no one. She lost her best friend.

And suddenly she heard an explosion.

She didn't think much of it as she was still guilty of the rash decision she has made.

"*sniff* i need to apologize... *sniff* why am i so blind? I should've known he was only trying to look out for me.."

"Ooh.... im so sorry cyclops.."

<<The next day>>

Nana is walking over to Cyclops' house. She felt really guilty, she wanted to apologize of how stupid she was. But her eyes were was filled with terror as she saw his house half destroyed.

"C... cy?"

"CY!!"

"CY !! WHERE ARE YOU?"

Nana started to panic as Cyclops was nowhere to be seen. Until something catches her attention, an hourglass. His hourglass, in the corner of the half destroyed room, and a piece of slightly burnt paper lying on thr ground.

She walks over tho the two item, and picks up the piece of paper. And it says;

"Hey, uhh.. im sorry for being to selfish yesterday.... I uhm... im writing this in case things doesn't turn out well. The real reason i tried to stop your date was. I went into the future. And saw skv betraying you, i raged. Haha.. uh... i gues i didn't think all of this through.. i shouldn't have known that the future wasn't always the same, and. I just want to say. I hope you two are happy. And just for a little memento from the one that tried to destroy your happiness... im making the hourglass you wanted for your birthday. But if things does turn out wrong, you can have mine. And don't worry about me. I'll always be watching you at night.

Stars are my eyes, so i'll be watching you too from the stars.

Tears stained the piece of paper. As she felt even more guilty, now she really have lost her best friend. Forever. And just because of a single mistake. And because her eyes was blinded by love. Until she lost the one that truly loves her. The one that's always been by her side in happiness and in sad times.....

"I.... im sorry Cyclops......."

And that concludes my first ever fanfic that i wrote. Again, i do not own any of these characters. Even skv. Skv was copyrighted from my friend. XD. Soo... yeah this was stupid. And some of the plots doesn't make any sense. (I mean, when do i make sense?) XD. And please, leave some critics or suggestions. Because that'll help me improve my skills in writing.
