She shook her ginger and black pelt and thought on how she would react with the other apprentices. She shook her head again and thought," I'll be fine they are apprentices like me." Then she thought of Whitefang trying to figure out what he was saying. "I wonder what he was trying to say," she thought when they made to the ancient tree.
"It's huge!" She thought. Flowerpaw's eyes widen. The tree was twisted in all sorts of directions. She looked up and saw the branches was only covering most of the sky.
She saw Cougarpaw and Badgerpaw walking towards a group of cats. Flowerpaw began to walk towards them until she heard Shadow's hiss," make sure you remember what I said to you before we came." Flowerpaw growled ignoring him and kept walking to her siblings.
"Hey," Flowerpaw said when she arrived. She saw a massive dark brown tabby walk towards her. She glanced up at him and said," hey who are you?" The tabby replied excitedly saying," my name is Tigerpaw I'm going to be the strongest cat in all the clans." Flowerpaw chuckled at his amusement.
" Hey where did you get that scar you? You must have be have been in a fight with a rouge or something. Did you win?" Tigerpaw said eagerly. Flowerpaw's head was spinning from how fast he was talking that she flattened her ears.
"How could his clan even listen to this cat without losing their ears," she thought. "I was attacked by my mentor", she managed to say. "Really! What clan are you from. I heard Bloodclan is a fierce clan but I think Fireclan is better," Tigerpaw said boldly.
Now Flowerpaw really wanted to rip his ears of but instead she said," and your clan is okay on calling by a name who was an enemy of Firestar ," she said with a smirk. Fireclan always looked up to Firestar and Flowerpaw was very annoyed about that. Tigerpaw hissed," hey, so what if my name is Tigerpaw that doesn't mean my clan-" Tigerpaw was cut off my Amberstar's yowl to being the gathering. Everyone turned towards the ancient tree. Fireclan is strong and healthy, therefore,"he turned gaze on Miststar," we will fight off any prey-stealers that threatens our clan".

All but Stormclan cheered their names. All three cats stood there embarrassed. Flowerpaw wonder why Stormclan didn't cheer. Amberstar back away letting Miststar report the news. "Someone has been stealing our prey, she hissed threatening at Fireclan, and your sent has been all over our borders." Amberstar growled," and where is your proof?"
