"O-oh," he whispered.

"I- I brought you this," I muttered, pulling out the flower crown.

"It's- It's beautiful!" Phil exclaimed.

"Thanks," I was flustered, this is going better than planned. Phil lightly put the flower crown on his head, smiled, and grabbed my hand.

"Phil! Congratulations on graduating!" I smiled, kissing him lightly.

"As to you, baby," he smiled. Phil drove me crazy. He didn't know what I planned to do tonight, though...

"Are you ready to go to our dinner reservations?" Phil asked, fiddling his thumbs.

"Oh! Yes!" I replied, tucking the secret item into my pocket, out of sight from Phil.

The car ride was silent, and once we entered the restaurant, there was a little more noise, but not much.

"Reservation for Lester," Phil smiled at the waiter.

"Right this way, boys," he replied, directing them to a two seated table.

After we ordered our food, I dug into my back pocket for the small item.

"Phil," I stated.

"Yes, Dan?" he replied curiously.

I got up out of the chair to where I was kneeling on one knee.

"I know we just got out of high school, but Philip Michael Lester, will you marry me?"

Phil covered his face and I could hear faint sniffles.

"O-o-of c-course!" Phil cried, letting me slide the ring onto his ring finger.

"I love you," I whispered while we hugged.

"I love you more, secret admirer."
