PRECIOUS POV..

A new life, A new beginning.

  
As my alarm made me jump on my bed. "Damn I was this close to see who was behind the bushes." I said out loud with irritation and frustration.

"Why am I seeing these weird dreams all over again. Ughhh." I checked my phone and it's 7:30 already. Shit Winter will kill me if we'll be late for our first day of high school.

After brushing my teeth, I hurriedly took a shower. First day so I had to choose something good to wear. I picked high waisted jeans with a white inner and my favorite denim jacket.

I put some moisturizer on my face put my cosmetic lenses in my eyes, applied a little bit foundation, my favorite peachy pink 3D blush and baby pink mate lipstick.

"Okay, I'm decent" I said while looking at the mirror. I have really long dark brown hairs. But I guess if I'll leave them open, they'll attract everyone and I'm already very nervous So, it's a messy bun day.

I put my sneakers on and checked my bag one more time. "I have everything right? books 'check' , phone 'check' , pens 'check' , wallet 'check', Okay I'm ready." I said while taking one last look in the mirror, before running downstairs.

"Good morning Mom. Good morning WinWin." I said while giving mom a kiss on her cheek.

"Mom tell her not to call me WinWin I'm seventeen gosh." Winter angrily objected while giving me a deadly look. I gave him a mischief smile. He's wearing black jeans with a dull brown colored turtle neck.

"Precious don't call WinWin, WinWin."Mom said to me with a fake angry look which made me laugh out loud even more mom also joined me.

Winter looked at us, rolling his eyes with a sigh. "My mom and sister are officially nuts." He said while finishing his glass of milk.
 

"Hopefully you'll find yourself a nut girlfriend soon. Then we'll be a happy nut family." Mom answered him savagely. I started laughing again and Winter turned red because of mom's reply.

"MOM" he whined.

  
"Okay Best of luck for your first day behave yourselves and no fights, no complaints, I don't want to see your principal for at least 3 months because of you both having fights or anything Got it."Mom rumbled us more like threatened us as we are hopping on our bikes.

    
"Okay mom" Winter and I answered her in sync.

St. Andrew's Highschool, Sewanee, is about thirty minutes ride far from our home. We'll have our car next week after all paperwork is done so Winter and I planned on going on our bikes for the week.

"Here we are Perry." Winter said excitedly as we stopped in front of the campus gate. I looked at the board that said.

St. Andrew’s-Sewanee High School is dedicated to inspiring students to live lives of active curiosity and loving service. We challenge our students to fulfill their greatest potential while helping them to cultivate lives of balance and joy."

We parked our bikes and started walking towards the building the garden area is lush green with tall trees and and beautiful architectural designed garden. So many students are sitting on the grass.

Some boys are playing basketball in the basketball court. We asked the guard about the reception he guided us the way.

We both entered the building and a tall blonde hair lady in a suit welcomed us warmly. "Good Morning how may I help you dear."

"Umm we are new admissions, my name is Precious Eve Wood, and this is my brother Winter Wood." I replied her.

"Oh, yes yes wait a minute please." She said while finding something in her drawers.

"Here these are your identity cards, locker codes and schedule for your classes. Mr Frank completed all your paperwork last week and told us about your main subjects as you are two semesters late you'll have to take extra classes they are added in your schedules too so no worries." She explained us everything.

"Hope you have a wonderful time here at St. Andrew's."She added with a smile while guiding the way to the locker area I thanked her with a smile as well.

As we entered the main building both Winter and I got so surprised seeing the staircase and the clock which is hanging in the middle of the entrance.

"Woaah this place is amazing." Winter said while mesmerising the building. "Lockers are on the left side of the staircase right?"

"Yeah lets go and get are stuff in the locker and hurry up for our first class." I told him walking straight towards the locker.

"I have maths first, then music class what about you Perry?"

"English first then music aah I'm so nervous Winter."I answered him stuffing extra books in the locker.

"Make sure to introduce yourself confidentially. Perry you know that the 'First impression is the last impression"

"Yeah right and you make sure to follow this yourself too." I answered him.

"Okay I'm getting late for my class see you in the music class." Winter said giving me high-five. "Best of luck Perry."

"You too WinWin" I said jokingly, he turned around and rolled his eyes giving me an annoying look as he climbed up the staircase.

I checked my schedule and it says, First period English (class 11,D) 2nd floor.

       
       
"Hello" I heard a melodies voice greeting me from behind as I turn around to face a beautiful girl with light brown shoulder length hair wearing a cute hair band in a yellow knee length dress her eyes are warm brown like honey.

She's shorter than me about 5'5, I guess. She's smiling so warmly at me.

              (Kiran's look)

"Are you new here?" She asked me still smiling so beautifully.

"Yes, I am" I answered her with a smile.

"Oh finally someone is new here. I've transferred here last month but than the spring holidays started so you can say that I'm also new here it's my first day too technically, what about you?" She said with excitement and with so much hype still smiling so brightly.

"I've moved here last week with my family. I'm two semesters late and yeah it's my first day officially." I answered her.

"I'm such an idiot I didn't introduced myself, my name is Kiran, Kiran Elvis, nice to meet you." She said giving herself a childish slap on head with her left hand, while her right hand is moving towards me for a shake.

I gently shake her hand she's wearing a really cute charm bracelet all the charms are mini rabbits in different colors.

I'm wearing my charm bracelet too with butterflies and flowers, that Winter got me for christmas last year.

"Nice to meet you too my name is Precious Eve Wood."I replied her.

"Woah such a beautiful name you have 'Precious Eve'. Can I call you Eve? Like evenings are so beautiful they turn into different colors when the sun is saying it's goodbyes while giving the eve such beautiful color's." She asked me with this beautiful explanation about my second name.

I'm so shock looking at this girl, like how confidently she talks about everything so casually, she's a chatterbox.

"Umm, yes, yes you can. My brother calls me Perry, you can call me Eve." I answered her smiling genuinely because of her bright personality.

"So, Eve what subjects are you taking?" Kiran asked me checking her schedule.

"English, science, math and Music."  I answered her showing my schedule. "And I have English first in 5 minutes."

"OMG we have all classes together except for science, I'm taking Arts." She said very excitedly taking my hands in her squeezing them affectionately.

"Kiran we are getting late for our class." I said checking time in my phone."We should go our class room is upstairs." I told her while putting my books in my bag.

"Yes let's go, I'm so excited Eve." She said walking with me upstairs for our first class.

Kiran and I entered our class 11,D. There are about fourteen students in the class mostly girls and about five, six boys. We found two empty seats in the corner of the class and settled there a male teacher in his early 50's entered the class greeting all the students.

"Good Morning dear ones welcome back from your spring holidays, how are you all?" He asked the class with so much enthusiasm.

The whole class greeted him back, "Good Morning Professor Adam, we are fine, thank you."

"Let's get started, shall we, oh we have two new students this semester--"

As professor Adam was telling the class about the new students. Two boys entered the room both of them are wearing hoodies covering their face one of them took off his hood and asked in his husky voice. "May we come in professor." He have shining black hair, coal black eyes, a sharp nose and his height is probably same as Winters.

"Mr Harish and Mr Jackson late as always." Professor Adam said smiling at the boys.

"Sorry sir it won't happened again." Black haired guy said giving professor Adam a mischievous smile. Okay He's handsome, I thought.

Both boy's came in abd walked straight to where kiran and I are sitting.

I looked up to see two pairs of deep blue shining orbs looking at me. He removed his hood and my breath stuck in my throat. He have blonde hairs, his jawline is sharp, he's taller than the black hair guy maybe two inches tall. He's really handsome and some how unique.

He stared at me for a moment then look ahead and walked away with his friend. I let my breath out woah, what was that why he was staring like that. They both settled down behind us. And now I'm really nervous.

"So who are the new students?" Professor asked.

Kiran raised her hand so did I. "Well we have two beautiful ladies joining us this semester. Please introduce yourselves dear ones." He asked us politely.
Kiran stood up and walked in front of the class to introduce herself. Gosh this girl is really confident.

"Hello everyone, my name is Kiran Elvis. I moved here in Sewanee, last month from California and I'm living with my grandma because my parents are really busy in their business and stuff and I can't live alone so I'm planning to live with my grandma as long as I'm studying, and I'm planning to complete my university here in Sewanee so, let's be friends so I can hangout with you guys." She said without taking a break like non-stop, this girl is amazing I like her persona so much.

Everyone cheered and welcomed her saying hey and smiling at her.

"Miss Elvis you have such a Joyful nature. I must say we'll surely have a great time with you. Thank you, you may go back to your seat and please dear one you come and introduce yourself." Professor Adam said looking at me.

Okay Precious you can do it, let's go.

I walked in the front and face the class, lowering my eyes, I took a deep breath and looked up straight smiling a little.

"Hello My name is 'Precious Eve Wood', I moved here last week with my family from Italy. I was basically homeschooled and this is my first time officially in a proper school, so I hope to learn new things and make new friends."

I complete my intro with a smile and I can hear all the students cheering, clapping and saying I have a really pretty name. I'm glad this class is so friendly.

"Miss Wood you have a really pretty name it's really unique and I guess some how special in a way. Yes I hope you'll learn and make a lot of friends here, you may go ba--.." The blonde hair boy interrupt professor Adam in the middle saying out loud.

"Why are you wearing lenses?"

The whole class looked at him in a shock even his friend the black haired guy.  And for me I'm looking at him confusingly like how do he knows, that I am wearing lenses.
