Precious POV....

It's dark really dark, I'm standing in the middle of The Deep Forest. No one's here I'm all alone and suddenly I heard something moving behind the trees. "Who's there?"I asked shivering like a deer who's about to get hunt down by a wild animal.

It's getting close to me really close I can sense it moving forward with heavy steps. All I can see are two pairs of black cold Eyes. I stared at the beast with questioning look and....

"Perry wake up" I heard someone saying and I opened my eyes realizing that I was dreaming. Gosh what a weird dream.

"PRECIOUS EVE WOOD WAKE THE HELL UP will you it's 10 am already we have to go" Winter was shouting and throwing pillows on me to wake up.

"What the hell is wrong with you WINTER" I shouted at him getting my pillow and hitting him as well and soon the two of us are in the middle of a pillow war.

Because of all the shouting and the noise of us running around the room mom came up to see both of us in pillow feathers and my room looking like a War Zone.

"PRECIOUS & WINTER, What are you both doing?" Mom said so loudly both of us stopped after seeing her standing at the door and seeing what we did to my room.

"Oh No" Winter and I gasp seeing mom getting angry.

"CLEAN THIS ROOM WITHIN TWENTY MINUTES."Mom said while closing her eyes.

"Seeing my grown up kids making this mess is ridiculous you both won't be having chocolate pancakes for breakfast if this room isn't clean in the given time."She added opening her eyes giving us <THE MOM> smile leaving us both standing in pillow feathers. I got goosebumps seeing her smile like this after so many days and made me smile too.

"It's all your fault you started it."Winter said putting his hands in his jeans pockets.

"Shut up and start cleaning up with me."I objected him while slapping his shoulder.

"If I don't get my chocolate pancakes because of you waking me up like an animal. I won't buy you that guitar you were asking me to get for you."I finished threatening him and it worked.

Winter is begging me to buy him that guitar for months. Because mom gives me all our allowance she doesn't trust Winter because of his spending money for all the junk he likes as Mom says.

We finished cleaning up my room and now having breakfast with mom.

"Mom you have magic in your hands these chocolate pancakes are so delicious as alway."Winter is trying to sweet talk our mom so she'll give us permission to go out as we planned but because of the mess we did, mom is still a little angry.

"Oh Thank you my dear, but for a seventeen years old boy chocolate pancakes are nothing but just breakfast am I right Winter?" Mom answered savagely making me laugh out loud. Winter give me a 'Do something' kinda look.

So I dared to ask mom "Umm mum Winter and I are planning to go out today cause we only have two days before our high school starts. So with your permission can we go?" Giving her my famous puppy eyes adding with a smile as I'm not wearing my contact lenses and she can see my real eyes which helps me attract anybody's attention.

Mom looked at me and for a moment she stared at me with so much emotions on her face then said,"Okay you both can go but be careful and I want you to come back before dinner." She said getting up from the table and went into her room coming back with her wallet.

"Here take this and buy something for yourselves okay." She said handing me some money giving me and winter a warm smile. I hugged her and Winter kissed her cheek.

"Now get out both of you I need peace in this house for once."Mom annoyingly chimed making us laugh at our beautiful yet savage mom.

Both of us got dressed and are ready to leave for our first day out here in Sewanee. Thankfully the truck arrived yesterday with all our things and our bicycles because we still need to buy a car and mom is dealing with all the paperwork.

"So first we'll visit that famous shop here 'THE LEMON FAIR' and then we'll vist 'THE CROSS'".Winter told me about our plans for today with so much excitement. I love seeing him like this happy and excited for every little thing.

My sister instinct kicked in and a smile appeared on my face.

"Okay WinWin whatever you say. We'll go everywhere you like or want to visit" I said pinching his cheek he literally hates it whenever I do that.

"Heyy! How many times do I have to tell you don't call me WinWin. I'm not seven anymore for God's sake I'm seventeen Perry and if you pinched my cheek one more time I'll throw you off from a cliff" He shouted while his ears got red. He's so flustered and whenever someone says he's cute or calls him WinWin his ear turned red.

"Okay okay let's go baby brother." I chided while kicking out on the road on my bike. We followed the google map to the shop and after cycling about twenty minutes here we are,

"THE LEMON FAIR"

'The Lemon Fair' is a Sewanee landmark featuring Local and Handmade Art alongside Toys, Bath & Body products, Jewelry, Chocolate & Snacks, Clothing, Tapestries,Accessories, Fine Paper & Cards.


Winter really wanted to visit this place because of the snacks. Sometimes he do behaves like a seven years old. We bought so many things, I got myself 2 books and some Accessories as for Winter he got some T-shirts and lots of snacks for himself obviously.

We stopped at a small cafe to eat something and then made our way to
"THE CROSS"

Sewanee Memorial Cross sits in a wooded area on the edge of a bluff on the campus in Sewanee, Tennessee. Meaning to have
("Peace To End The war to end all wars")


I wanted to vist this place because Uncle Frank told us about this place that it's dad's favorite spot here in Sewanee.

And I know why because how peaceful and relaxing this place is while looking around.

"Wow this place is so cool." Winter said with excitement in his voice. "Let's go closer to get a better view I want to take some pictures."He added while parking his bike. I parked mine as well and we started walking while looking around.

"Woah this is so big it looked so small from up there where we parked our bikes." I said looking up at the Cross. The Cross has lilies all around it. The Flower of Peace.

"This place is so relaxing."Winter said closing his eyes taking a deep breath. I did the same.

We clicked so many pictures and talked about so many things related Sewanee and Highschool.

"Oh my gosh Winter it's getting dark mom will lock the doors and we'll have to sleep in the backyard and you know she will do that she's our mother after all." I said while getting up from the ground.

Winter got up as well and as we were about to move the kids who were playing football there started running towards us to get their ball and I stumble over my shoelace that was undone as I was backing away and was about to say hey to the grass again. Winter held me in time but somebody was about to catch me as well.

Our hands touched and I swear it felt like I got an electric shock. The sky above growled with thunder and out of nowhere it started raining on a perfect sunny day.


"Perry what are you thinking let's run or else we'll get wet."Winter said loudly making me snap out of my shocking incident that happened before it started raining this heavily.


"Yeah Let's go, Mom will start worrying."I answered him as we started running towards our bikes.

Sewanee weather is so confusing it starts raining on a sunny day and sometimes the sky growls with thunder in the middle of the day out of nowhere as I was thinking. I turned around to find that guy my hand touched a while ago giving me an actual shock.

I couldn't see his face because of the hoodie he was wearing when I cought a glimpse of him but he was not there anymore. Who was that guy?
