Kiran's POV....

"Thank you AuntEm." We all said together.

"Really AuntEm everything was so delicious and I have to say this that you just beat my granny's apple pie because, this apple pie was beyond tasty."I said finishing my last spoon of the pie.

"Ma'am it's indeed really tasty." Jake said taking another big bite of his apple pie.

"Jake dear please call me AuntEm. I heard ma'am almost half my life after marrying Wood Edwin." AuntEm said rolling her eyes faking a sigh.

"Sorry ma-- AuntEm." Jake hesitantly replied still a lot of emotions can be seen on his handsome face.

"Okay okay guy's let's go outside and prepare for bonfire tonight and Mom you have to say something to them." Winter said excitedly raising his eyebrows knowingly at his mother.

"Oh- oh yes, dear ones you all are staying the night here with us, as I hide your car keys and Kiran dear I called your granny and she said it's absolutely fine of you staying here for the night."AuntEm said in an ordering tone. "And Sky dear give me your Uncle's number I'll call him as well for taking permission for you three."She added looking at Sky.

We all looked at Sky and his reaction was a little uncomfortable at first but then he immediately shrugged and said, "No I'm so sorry ma-- I mean AuntEm but we can't stay for the night--"

"No if's, but's and no's I'm not listening to anything, tonight you all are staying that's it. Give me your uncle's number or call him by yourself."AuntEm cut off Sky in mid sentence.

"I'll call him and ask him to grant as permission AuntEm." Azalea chimed smilingly a hint of excitement can be seen on her face.

"Azalea I'll call him you stay here. Jake come with me." Sky objected, both looked a little bit awkward but the two of them went outside to call their uncle but I could feel something is fishy.

"Let me help you clean the kitchen Eve." I said helping her with the dishes, Azalea is sitting in the living room with AuntEm and Winter.

"Eve isn't just me or you think the same that Azalea is heads over heels for Winter."I asked Eve giggling like a school girl.

"Heels!! No no no it's an understatement Kiran, she's over the moon for him. They text each other all day and sometimes I hear Win talking over phone with someone, obviously AZ, and the best part is my baby brother knows that she likes him but is shying like a girl to confront her." Eve said giggling and after few minutes we started to sail our ship #Winlea.

After 20 minutes Sky & Jake came back and it was Jake who said, "Okay who's ready for a musical bonfire."

Winter and Eve looked so happy and AuntEm definitely had tears in her eyes seeing her kids happy. Everybody got to work Azalea and Winter took the decoration work. Sky and Jake went to collect woods for the fire. Eve and I helped AuntEm in preparing snacks.

Knowing that Winter & Eve never really had friends and a normal teenage life makes me sad and want them to be able to have all the happinesses and love.

I lived with my caretaker more than my parents because of their business and trips. They love me a lot but work sometimes keeps their love away from me. I had loads of friends when I lived in California but they didn't even called once after I decided to move here and live with my granny.

I visited my grandma every summer break and then when my parents were asking me to shift with them in Spain, I rejected politely and told them my decision to live with my grandma.

Sewanee has this magic that always keeps me attach to it. I visited this beautiful magical land every year during my summer break after that little incident happened when I first visited granny---

"Kiran kiran are you listening?" Jake's voice got me out of my thoughts.

"Huh you were saying something Jake?"I asked him shaking my head a little.

"Yeah I asked you to help me carry these soft drinks and snacks. Everyone is already outside waiting for us. Are you alright?" He replied as his face showed a hint of worry.

He looks cute with his eyebrows raised in worry and lips being pouty waiting for a reply.

"No I'm fine Jake just zoning out of this world and playing with rabbits in my fantasy land." I answered him giggling at my weird confession.

His expression changed immediately after hearing my answer. I'm taking notes that whenever I mention rabbits he looks pissed or immediately changes the topic.

When I exchanged our numbers and saved his as Jake🐰 with a bunny emoji because he looks adorable smiling with his bunny teeth, when I showed him he didn't even reacted or smiled.  But instead changed the topic and said he had to complete an assignment and left me alone in the cafeteria, we had a free period and I had to sit 30 minutes playing candy crush on my phone.

"Let's go they are waiting for snacks and drinks."Jake said with a straight face.

We went outside and seeing the decorations and the fire lighten up bright and beautiful.

Winter has his guitar around him sitting beside Azalea, aww my cutest winlea. I  silently thought to myself.

Eve and I sat on the grass and Jake and Sky sat opposite us. I can see Jake's black hair shining because of the fire light, as he looked up his eyes dark black orbs shining like black marbles.

He smiled a little looking at me. I smiled back tilting my head a little. Gosh Kiran why are you acting all cute in front of him get yourself together. I scolded myself silently.

"Winter I never got a chance to listen your melodies voice. I heard a lot from Jake, that you aing ao well, will you sing something for me please."Azalea pleaded Winter showing him her puppy eyes and yes Winter melted like an ice cube after seeing her plead.

"O--okayy but Jake will help me I'm not singing alone. Bro help me out please, you know how cool we look performing together."Winter said requesting Jake to sing with him and I'm already so happy just thinking about Jake singing.

"No no no bro you know I can only play guitar I- I can't sing that's your part not my piece of apple pie."Jake said hands up in surrender making us all laugh with his pie joke.

"Please Jake I really want to hear you sing." I blurted out of nowhere, Kiran can't you keep your mouth shut I thought closing my eyes not to looking up at his reaction.

But then I heard guitar strumming making a melodies sound I know this music...

We all cheered loudly when they ended their amazing performance with applause. Azalea is smiling so brightly looking at Winter as if she'll just hug him again but controlling herself.

For me I'm still starstruck looking at Jake he sings so amazing and the thought lingering in my mind is he sang after my request. I don't want to focus on that path but if he really has some kind of feelings for me then I should just relax my mind and see what will happen if this feelings that I am developing is it for him as just a friend or something more than friends.

"Oh no the fire oh my god we are out of woods guy's we need more woods or else the fire will no longer lit. and it's just the beginning of our bonfire."Azalea said sadly.

"I'll go get some."Sky said standing up but I looked at Eve and her face is loudly saying don't go I need to talk to you.

Looking at our winlea couple chatting not caring about their surroundings. I thought it's best to let Eve have a little chat with Sky and build their friendship more and drop the awkward phase.

So here goes nothing.

"No Sky I want to go for a walk  so I'll get some woods you stay here you already went once."I said standing up getting my jacket.

"But Kiran how will you manage to carry them and--- "
I cut him by walking straight in the woods that are close to Eve's backyard.

Walking and stumbling three times and stopping to see if I'm going in the right direction and leaving clues to get back safely.

And after stumbling for the fourth time I give up on standing and sit for a while.

"Tired already lady tarzan."I heard my new favorite voice from behind.

Smiling to myself knowing he was following me from the start.

"No just appreciating the beauty of mother nature."I looked behind giving him a big smile.

He smiled back widely showing his bunny teeth's my weakness ohh god.

"Need some help."He chimed offering me his hand. Ohh I need to stand up.

I hold his hand while getting up and noticing for the first time how small my hand looks in his. He didn't let go off my hand but I gently slide my hand out of his big one not wanting to, but I don't want any misunderstandings before even getting my feelings straight it's just been three weeks and I- I just like him as a friend yeah JUST A FRIEND.

I immediately turn around and started walking more like running and yes I tripped.

But stood up confidently and walk for another 10 minutes and trip making mental notes about never wearing pumps while going in the woods for a hike.

Still walking fast basically running listening to Jake sigh every time I trip or stumble.

"DON'T RUN LIKE THAT YOU'LL HURT YOURSELF AGAIN."Jake said sighing for the fifth time.
"HERE HOLD MY FINGER" He added.

I looked over at his pinky that too is big for me but not wasting another minute I hold his pinky like a toddler.

I guess he got it that I'm not comfortable holding hands. Smiling to myself. I started walking behind him.

Joke aside so guys did you liked Our Kiran's First POV.
It's not ended yet we'll have #Jaran moments in chapter 19 as well and as promised chapter 19 & 20 will be up as double update this coming Thursday.
