Chapter 1: Wedding or Almost

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mystery POV:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was sitting in my throne room looking bored. I looked bored on the outside but inside I was angry. My son. MY son cozying up to the likes of that disgusting creature. After everything that has happened because of them?! I can't believe it!

On the other hand, it could all be a lie. While Azazel did sound serious, I wouldn't put it past him to lie about his brothers. So it all comes down to Philip. I sent him off to find out to find out the truth a few hours or so ago, a few days in Assiah time. But in the end, I hope that Azazel was lying.

I will not let my son lay prisoner to the beauty of a beast. Keytas. They are undoubtedly beautiful, every single one of them, but I will not fall prey to them. On the inside, they are hideous. they are monsters. I hold no grudge against the human race, but they are valuable.

To some as food, to others as vessels, and to some even as mates. Humans have become valuable over the years. Keytas are, or rather, were, our only competitors. But then they got out of hand. They killed my wife, one of the best I'd ever had. Her nickname was Titania, which means queen of the fairies and she was amazing. She was dazzling with her green hair and blue eyes, more than I could put into words. To many of my children, she was a step mom, but many called her mom. My sons loved her because she was the kindest and she had the biggest heart. I guess that's why the Keytas decided to cut it out of her.

Amaimon is a spitting image of her. Lost many nights to nightmares and many centuries hardening himself into a shell. Even when they were all gone, their presence in his mind never left. They were dead, all of them were, but not in his heart. They plagued him, even centuries after the end of the war. The war wouldn't bring her back, but he fought like it would. Most of them did. Some of my sons didn't enter the war.

Lucifer didn't, neither did Samuel, Beelzebub didn't care, but the rest did. And to think that Amaimon can just turn his back and forget what they have done to him. It hurts. it hurts because he isn't the only one with nightmares. He might have forgotten, but I haven't. I'll never forget what they did to us. There was a knock on the door and I knew it was Philip. Most demons would leave when they didn't see Philip and my sons would just barge in.

"Come in" I said looking at the door open at the command. Philip took long and meaningful strides and came to a stop at the steps to my throne. "And what of our problem? Was Azazel correct, does a Keyta roam around Assiah, getting close with my son?" I asked not sure if I was ready to hear the answer but daring him to lie to me.

"No sir" he said looking at me. I felt myself relax but he continued. "It is worse. She is not only fully mated with your son, but they are getting married" he said.

WHAT!

Korosu POV:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{time skip by this is my editors first time editing my work! comment on how you think its going! ~editor's note: hai guys :D~}
It's been a few months since he proposed! I found out the ring actually was traditional, just not the tradition I was used to. Demon weddings are an actual thing, and their standards are different from human ceremonies. Most supernaturals have demon weddings and they are blessed by the flames of Satan. I learned that Amaimon would die preforming a traditional god blessed wedding, making it only possible to have a demon wedding, but I don't mind. I find demon weddings fascinating.
The ring was crimson because it is made of hardened blood and the black is a spell cast on the ring. The ring was impossible to take off once put on, making it impossible to get married to someone else unless one of the wearers died. Most demons in Gehenna put off getting married because of that, waiting for mates that may or may not ever show up.
I was surprised to learn what Gehenna was really like. The Vatican had things all wrong down to what they teached in class. Not all of the information was wrong, but most was. Gehenna wasn't this desolate place, it is full of small towns and kingdoms. Kingdoms which the demon kings ruled from castles, which means that Amaimon has a castle of his own! But I could never visit. A living being staying in Gehenna for long is impossible. Gehenna slowly sucks the life out of the living, literally, and a Keyta would die relatively slow and painful. It worried me that Amaimon was away from the kingdom but he said his kingdom worked like nature did, on its own.
His kingdom could run on auto pilot due to his rules, just like the forest in Assiah. Granted, Gehenna has different plants. Gehenna is lit up by a big blue sun of sorts, displaying Satan's power and reign over all the kingdoms. Before I came here, there was a huge attack on the kingdoms. A huge bomb decimated whole kingdoms and many died. The Vatican called it the Messiah.
Gehenna retaliated and it led to a small war. It only lasted seconds in Gehenna but those seconds translate into hours in Assiah time. They were scaring people and destroying things, just like they did to Gehenna, but Rin closed the portal and they began rebuilding. The kingdoms are still reconstructing, and Amaimon went back to help before we met. I wish I could see Gehenna. I heard the clouds are burgundy and there aren't very many bright colors besides the bioluminescent forest in Amaimon's kingdom. It's strange to think that I'm going to be a real queen, but my kingdom will never know me.
But I don't have time to think of sad stuff, because I'm getting married. We decided to have the ceremony at the place we met: under the big oak tree with our friends and my family. He made my dress and bouquet. He said we would build our lives together and he certainly meant it. He's taken a huge effort in our wedding and made sure no one could ruin it. Mephisto even got permission from the school to use the forest.
"Korosu! Come on! The song already started!" Kasai whispered in a hushed tone as she went down the isle before me. Come on, you can do this I thought to my nervous self as I took Caster's hand. I took a deep breath and turned the corner. It was if time had slowed. I was gonna remember this moment for the rest of our lives. I could hear my deep breaths and I looked up as everyone stood up. I made my way down the isle and Amaimon was captivated by me.
I saw the tears streak his face as he looked at me like I was the most beautiful girl in the world. And that's how I felt. I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world, the luckiest girl ever. Everyone else seemed to disappear as our eyes met. I made my way towards him and Okami took my flowers. I had no maid of honor.
I stood in front of him and he held his hand out to me. I took it and we turned to face Mephisto, who begged to be the one to join us together. I took a deep breath and the ceremony started.
"We are here today to join these two mates in demon matrimony. Demon matrimony is a very sacred joining of which only the closet friends and family can attend." Mephisto started as me and Amaimon looked behind us at my family and cram class. Okami and Kasai had asked me to invite people I didn't know. Like this couple Zoyiah and Claude who had left the dorm before I woke up to start their new life together and Nick, Okami's brother who had gotten married to a vampire named Tatia in my absence. I sadly had to say no, because I didn't know them very well and I had to invite my closest friends. I would love to meet them, but not on my wedding day. I wanted to only be with my closest friends and family for this.
"This tradition is almost as old as me and it's not to be taken likely. These rings are made with strong magic and blood. If anyone is to object to this union then you are a little too late." Mephisto said making my class laugh a little. They were all really concerned about me getting married but I never had any doubts. They thought I was too young, and at 17 I guess I really am, but I want to do this. I want to be married to him, I want to be with him for the rest of my life.
"This is a very important matrimony indeed because today you will make history and you all will lay witness to it. This isn't just a demon wedding, but the start of a new reign. Once the ceremony is complete, Gehenna will have its first Queen of Earth. Not only that but a Keyta as queen. Joining the once rival species as one. This is the birth of a new age in history." Mephisto said smiling at both of us.
I kind of wish my dad was here. Caster did walk me down the isle but it wasn't the same. At the same time I'm also lucky he's not here, because I don't think he would be very happy knowing I was getting married at 17 and to a demon at that. My dad always raved about demons, telling me stories as a kid. He was the only one to ever believe me about the coal tars. I always thought he was crazy, but now I see that he wasn't. I fell into this world and I couldn't be happier.
The world isn't school and friends and class anymore. It's demons, werewolves, and being alive and in love. If someone had told me 2 years ago that I would go from having one friend to being a queen in love with a beautiful demon, I would've felt less crazy. Being with someone was the last thing on my mind and I never thought I would get married.
"Most demon weddings are not dreadfully long, but this is no ordinary wedding. Along with being queen you will own and inherit the Earth, but before doing so, the Earth must accept you as queen. All that must be done is that the Earth acknowledges your rule and superiority as its queen. A small display must be done. Amaimon must summon first the animals who reside here, and then the demons, then the Earth itself. You are fortunate to not be Iblis' or Beezlebub's queen." Mephisto said laughing at the end. (Iblis is the demon king of fire and Beezlebub is the demon king of insects)
"First will be the animals who reside here." Mephisto said as we turned to look into the forest to our left. Nothing happened for a few minutes until a deer came out of the woods. It was small, not even an adult yet. More deer followed the small one, most likely its parents. Amaimon chuckled as the small one came closer, the elders bowing at the sight of my mate.
The small one came closer as Amaimon took my hand. "Sit down. He'll feel more confident if you do." Amaimon whispered and I slowly made my way to the ground. I sat on my knees and Amaimon walked in front of me. He knelt down and petted the deer lightly, and it leaned to his touch in response. Amaimon stood and moved aside as the deer finally paid attention to me.
He curiously made his way towards me and I slowly stuck my hand out. The small deer smelled my hand and our eyes met for the first time. It suddenly started to jump around me and the parents stood up and made their way towards me. The small one finally stopped jumping, laying down next to me, breathing heavy because he was tired. The elder deer bowed to me and Amaimon chuckled before saying "They are apologizing for the behavior of their son."
I looked down at the small deer and petted its head. "It's okay, I admire his energy. I strive to be as happy as him." I said smiling down at the deer with its head on my lap. It took me a second to notice the rabbits and the small foxes that made their way and sat around me. At first I was worried about the fox preying on the rabbits, but quickly realized that they were all peacefully coexisting together. Some birds had landed on me without me noticing, varied in size. Even a raven was among them.
"Now the demons who coexist here." Mephisto said. I patiently waited, enjoying my time with the animals. Hobgoblins and various sizes of leafmen made their way out of the forest to greet me, all joining in the small circle of animals surrounding me. There was rumbling and all of the animals looked up but never moved. I looked up and gasped a little at the forest giant that was now kneeling behind me. A large boar that laid next to it. A forest king. The small leafman made me flowers and they put them in my lap.
This is all so beautiful. "Now for the judgment of the Earth." Mephisto said as everyone seemed to wait. I don't understand how the Earth itself can acknowledge me. A vine suddenly sprouted from the ground and twisted itself. I stared in amazement that the Earth could respond, I thought it mostly lies dormant. It twisted and turned and even pulled an opal suddenly out of the ground. The vines fashioned a crown and placed it on my head.
Everyone suddenly gasped but I didn't understand why. I suddenly felt really uncomfortable. It was like there was something wrong with my body. My bones felt like there was something next to them, moving my muscles. I was really uncomfortable. "Amaimon what's going on!" Rin suddenly yelled. "Calm down little brother." Amaimon said calmly. "What is it doing to her?!" Rin yelled.
My bones started to feel a little warm, my spine was suddenly bumped, pushing me forward. it started to sting a little which surprised me because I haven't felt pain in a long time. "Amaimon tell me what's going on!" Okami asked sounding pretty angry. "It's not hurting her. It's giving her a gift." Amaimon said pridefully.
"A gift?! What are you talking about?!" Okami said confused. "Amaimon, what's going on?" I asked looking up at him. He looked down at me in awe. "Do you feel that discomfort in your muscles? The ones next to your spine?" he asked crouching down in front of me. I flexed my back and nodded. "The Earth decided to give you a gift. That discomfort is your wings. They gave you wings." he said taking my hands.
Wings? But how would they have done that? I didn't even feel it, but in hindsight, I probably wouldn't have been able to feel it anyway. Amaimon tugged on my hands and I slowly got up. The flowers in my lap fell to the ground, and the animals and demons moved a little to make a circle around me.
"The Earth has accepted you as its queen, congratulations. Now for the traditional ceremony. Would you please place your hands over this cup? Now I will explain for those who have never been to a wedding and doesn't know how it works." Mephisto said producing a cup out of thin air. What a show off.
I held my hand over the cup as asked. "Bride first." Mephisto said taking my hand and turning it palm up. He took out a knife and cut from my ring finger to my palm. "The Egyptians started the tradition of wearing the ring on the left hand on the third finger because they believed that there was a vein that ran all the way from there to the heart. That's why we start there. Bleed into the cup." he said taking my hand and gently turning it palm down so when blood seeped out, it fell into the cup.
I slowly felt my blood seep out of the wound on my hand and Mephisto started talking again. "The bride goes first as a symbol that she is his rock, and that she has a special place in his heart and that deep down, they will never be apart, no matter the distance." he said turning my hand back palm facing up.
My hand healed back up. "And now the groom." Mephisto said taking his brother's hand and cut it as he stood proud and unflinching. He faced his palm down like he had done to me and his blood poured into the cup. "The groom goes second as a symbol that his wife will always come first and that the surface matters as much as deep down. You can love someone deep down but it is always important to show them on the outside. A promise to always be there." Mephisto said as everyone stared intensely.
"Now you both will drink from the cup, accepting another part of each other, blood intertwining and the new power and new things will help this marriage survive, showing that there will always be something new to learn, and more chances to grow. Always one more thing to do together." Mephisto said holding the cup up to me.
I slowly took the cup into my hands. The cup was either half full or half empty, depending on how you like to look at it. Amaimon told me about this part but now that it was here I was a little hesitant. Drinking blood. The last time I accepted a part of him, I was throwing up for almost 2 months. What could this do to me?
Drink it she whispered. But- just do it. You can do it. You don't feel pain to an extent. You'll be mostly okay. I want to be married to him Korosu, won't you be willing to do anything for him she asked. Yes, I'll do anything. I slowly brought the cup to my lips and took a few sips. I quickly looked at the cup. It was strange. The taste was bitter but sweet at the same time.
I gave the cup back to Mephisto and released the breath I was holding. Nothing happened. That's good. I was fine for a few seconds but my breath got caught in my throat when pain erupted in my body. It was this scorching fire that spread all over my body and had me crying out. It became hard to breathe and I started tearing up. I started coughing but I couldn't get any air in my lungs. I was slowly suffocating.
Amaimon POV:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

She was fine. She drank from the cup but seemed very surprised. She handed the cup back to my older brother and breathed a sigh of relief. She seemed happy to be okay and I was too. But then she suddenly started turning red, and her breathing hitched. She let out a howl of pain and started coughing. I could see that she wasn't breathing properly and started to worry.

She started to cry and I reached out worried to only make it worse. I took a step towards her and she starting grabbing at her throat. Her eyes closed and she fell forward. I stepped closer and caught her. Come on, wake up! Please be okay. I hoped as I dragged her into my lap, shaking her. Come on. Open your eyes. I panicked when she didn't. "Korosu?" I whispered hoping she would just open her eyes.

"Amaimon?! What's wrong with her?! Is she okay?" Kasai yelled at me. "Her body isn't reacting well to the blood. She might just die." Mephisto said in a matter-of-fact tone. "What!" I yelled looking at my brother. "Are you fucking serious you fucking piece of shit! You knew that this would happen didn't you! How could you! If I had known then I would have never asked her to marry me! Why didn't you tell me?! Why would you let it happen!? Answer me!" I said yelling.

"I had a hunch but I wasn't sure." Mephisto said shrugging. I laid Korosu on the ground and got up. I lunged at my brother and gave him a good left hook to the face. His head snapped to the side on impact and I picked him up by his collar. "She isn't some experiment for your curiosity you dick. Now fix it or I will personally throw you into the pearly gates myself." I threatened.

"Now, now, little brother. Calm down, you know you wouldn't win that fight. I can't fix it. It's your blood, you have to heal her. No one else can." he said putting his hands up with that stupid smile on his face. Heal her? But-but I can't. They don't understand that I can't! I've always tried and I've always failed! I hate that I can't do it! (makes reference to chapter 19:Okami in book 1)

But I don't have a choice. I have to try. I need to. I love her and I can't live without her, I can't let her die if I haven't even tried. I walked over to her and crouched. I sighed and hovered my hands over her unconscious body.

"Terram potestas sananadi vulnera mecum obsecro lapsis et qui me amar cas-" I was so focused I almost jumped when Caster yelled at me. "It's lapsis te amo." he said correcting me. Right! "Terram otestas sanandi vulnera mecum obseri lapsis te amo. Tueri et concservare vitam mihi contigit unus cara." I said and for the first time in my life watched my hands glow.

I don't understand how that worked. It's never worked before, even when I repeated it 100 times in my head and tried more than that. Why did it work this time? What was different? I kept repeating the incantation until her eyes cracked open. I breathed out and held her close to my body. At least she's okay.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know. I'm so sorry." I said holding her to me. "It's okay. I know you wouldn't have let me drink if you knew it would hurt me. You didn't know." she said waking up a little more. "Still want to marry me?" I joked smiling a little. "Yes, of course I do." she said hugging me. we got up and I looked at Mephisto who held the cup out to me.

I grabbed the cup and looked into it. I took a deep breath and brought the cup to my lips. I took a few sips and quickly shoved it into my brother's hands. I waited and mentally prepared myself for the pain. It was instant and unbearable. It was suffocating and piercing, and it spread throughout my body like an infection.

I screamed at the pain in my body. All of my organs writhed. My body felt like it was boiling and my lungs screamed for air. I kept screaming and clawing at my chest. Korosu looked worried and tried to step closer but I held my hand out. I have to do this on my own. She can't do magic right now. Demon blood comes with the ability of magic but she didn't know that and even if she did she didn't know the incantation.

I forced my self to breath and transformed. I have better control of my body in this form. It burns because of the angel blood and it's trying to exorcise me from the inside. I held my ground and thought to myself. I am stronger than this, both bloods can coexist in my body. It can fight all it wants but I refuse to die from this, not when I have the rest of my life with her.

"Anything holy has been programmed to kill demons. Even down to angel blood which is attempting to purify from the inside out. Most likely boiling him from the inside. But this isn't a test of purity, it's a test of will." Mephisto said to the rows of exorcists who looked frightened. "Korosu don't touch him! We don't know what he could do when he is like that." one of the students with purple hair yelled.

Stop it! STOP! You're in my body, you're a part of me now! You do as I say! I was surprised when the pain started to subside. I looked down at my beautiful mate who looks even smaller in my big hands and taller body. She held me close and I held her close to me. "I'm fine. Did you really think that could stop me from spending the rest of my life with you?" I tried to joke as the pain subsided. "Shut up you dummie." she said holding me closer.

"Never seen a wedding quite like this one. Tears of joy, tears of pain, and tears of sadness. I've also never seen anything happen to mates after they drink each other's blood. You guys never cease to amaze me. Now most demon weddings don't have what you would call vows because you guys have the rest of your lives to tell each other what you want to say right now. All that is left is the approval which normally would involve praying to Satan but since this marriage is a secret, we will be cheating the approval." Mephisto said making my mate laugh lightly.

Rin opened his sword and Kasai spread the fire slowly towards the cup. "Once the fire sets on the blood, both of you will be married." Mephisto said as the flame inched closer. But before it could reach the cup, it fizzled out.

Korosu POV:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I felt the whole air shift, like there was something strong, unnatural that shouldn't be here. "You didn't this that would work did you?! What's with you disgusting vermin and taking away everyone that matters to us!? Never again!" one with red hair yelled as I flinched away from his harsh tone full of malice. "What's with you popping up suddenly? I swear we killed every single one of you! You could've went on and lived your life but no! You had to charm my baby brother!" the one with blue hair yelled and Amaimon pulled me behind him.
"You all need to leave now!" Grimora yelled at the cram students. "What's the rush? Stay for the fun. We just got here." a guy with blonde hair said. Grimora flinched away at the kind words like they had struck her. "YOU HEARD HER, GO!" Rin yelled as the students made a dash for the woods. I felt something big was coming.
"So how did you charm him? Seduce him? Or did you flash your pretty little eyes? Slut." the red haired one said glaring at me circling us. "I swear on everything that is holy if you talk to her like that ever again I will exorcise you myself." Amaimon growled at the red haired guy. "He just asked the lady a question." the blue haired one said acting innocent.
"WHAT THE GEHENNA IS GOING ON HERE?!?!" a familiar voice screamed. Everyone stopped and looked over at the voice and I paled at the sight of my father. Oh shit this looks bad. I'm in a wedding dress holding hands with a demon king. This looks very bad. Quick, think up a lie to tell him. I don't think there is a lie for this situation that could possibly work she said.
"Korosu explain to me why the Gehenna you are in a wedding dress and why you are currently having a huge demon king reunion! IS THAT KASAI!?" he said staring at his daughter who should be 33 this year. "Hey dad..." she waved awkwardly. "I'll deal with you later, but Korosu, I need an explanation right now." he fumed.
"Explain why I get a call from your old school telling me you're using the forest as the venue to your wedding? Hmm? Not only did you not invite me but I come here and all of these demon kings are here. What did I say about demons!? Did you ever listen when I told you stories as a kid! Which one is the groom huh?" he said and I scratched my neck awkwardly.
"Busted!" the one with the blue hair laughed. "Me. She's marrying me. I love your daughter with everything I have. I'd give up everything to be with her." Amaimon said grabbing my hand. "That bitch has got you tied around her finger, don't worry. She won't be a problem in a few days." the red haired one said. Demon kings. All of them are demon kings. The one with the red hair must be Iblis, the one with the blue must be Eygn.
Suddenly a phone rang and Mephisto held it to his ear. "We have to get out of here." Mephisto said pushing my wedding party towards the woods. "We aren't going anywhere!" Rin said. "You can't help if you're dead. Your classmates won't make it out without your protection and neither will the town. They can handle themselves. Now go!" Mephisto said as they all ran into the woods, including my dad who was still in shock.
"Don't fucking touch her." Amaimon growled at Iblis. "Look what she's done to you." I heard a strong voice say. That voice gave me a shiver down my spine, warning me of his presence. I looked over to see the tallest man I've ever seen. Must've been 7 foot tall with white hair and these blue eyes.
"Dad." Amaimon breathed amazed but worried. Dad? Wait, Dad?! But his dad is...! THAT'S SATAN?! "She has you throwing away everything. Foolish." he said looking at my mate. He flinched but stood proud. "I remember the days you would throw away everything too. Were you foolish then?" Amaimon asked, standing in front of me.
"No. I was in love, but this, this isn't love son. This is just an infatuation and it will be over as soon as we get rid of that thing." he said glancing at me. His cold eyes reminded me of Amaimon but the look that he gave me made me whimper deep down. He wants me dead, they all do.
"Amaimon do you hear yourself? Do you?! After all they've done! You know how they are!" Satan yelled glaring at me. "She's not like them!" Amaimon yelled trying to reason with his dad. "How do you know that!?" Satan yelled angry. "Because I trust her! She has had every chance to leave me and betray me but she hasn't! She loves me dad!" Amaimon said passionately.
"That THING doesn't love son! They can't feel! And once we get what ever spell she has on you off, then you'll realize that. Grab her!" Satan commanded as he turned around and walked away. I barely had time to turn around before Iblis grabbed my arm.
Amaimon grabbed his wrist and I heard the bones break in his hands. Iblis let my arm go and pulled it out of Amaimon's grip. "This isn't a fight you can win baby brother." an unfamiliar voice said. I snapped my head to the source of the voice which was a guy with long gray hair and dark eyes. I couldn't make out his eye color from how far he was.
"Azazel." Amaimon spit like his name was poisoned. "Aww baby brother, we used to get along so well, what happened?" the demon king of air asked pouting jokingly. "This is your doing isn't it Azazel. You fucking snitch." he growled at the other king.
"How would you expect me to not tell father of your betrayal? You betrayed all of us, like the war didn't happen. Like you weren't one of the main efforts in the extinction of that creature right next to you." he spat. He was a huge effort in the war? The demon and Keyta war?! I didn't know he was such a huge part of their success. He didn't even tell me about participating in it, only that the death of his mother fed his hate. Does he really hate Keytas so much?
I guessed the shock showed. "What? Didn't know you were marrying someone who was such a huge effort in your extinction. He singlehandedly won battles against thousands. The hand that you're holding has gone through hundreds of thousands of angels' and Keytas' hearts." he laughed and I started to feel sick.
I let out a choked cry. How many people has he killed? People trapped in their own bodies crying out for help, begging and screaming in fear. And he just killed them, he didn't consider that they had friends, fathers, mothers, siblings, loved ones hoping they would get home safe, not knowing they had become Keytas. And angels, angels like my mom being killed mercilessly, just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
We don't know what happened to mom. They said they found her body in an alley in the city, they said she was most likely being mugged and things went bad. Maybe deep down my dad always knew that it had been demons. Maybe that's why he always told me to stay away from them, not trust them. "Oh mom..." I cried out trying to stop the tears.
Amaimon looked like a deer caught in headlights. I backed away from him and tried to see through my eyes that were blurred with tears. "Korosu..." he begged trying to reach for me. Is that why he never told me? He didn't want me to be upset? Is that why he kept it from me? Kept that whole part of his life from me because he didn't want me to find out? I suspected he killed a few but hundreds of thousands? I didn't think he would do that. I didn't think he COULD do that.
So he lied? And for what? To not seem like the bad guy? It was obvious he didn't want me to find out! "Korosu, please." he begged reaching for me again but I just backed up. "You lied to me." I cried out. "No. No Korosu I didn't lie. I just couldn't tell you." he said grabbing my wrist. "Why?! So I wouldn't find out how you really are? So I would be scared or upset?" I said yanking my hand back from his grip.
"Because I knew how you would feel! I knew this would happen! I'm not that guy anymore Korosu! I didn't want you to be mad" he said forcing his tears back. "So now you think about other people's feelings! Those people were trapped in their own bodies Amaimon! They had families and people who loved them and didn't have control over their own bodies. Like me. What if I didn't turn back? What if I was stuck? Would you have killed me too?" I asked crying.
"NO Korosu! How could you think that? I would never hurt you. I love you." he said reaching out again only to have me flinch away. "Wow this is great! She didn't know! Next time you should really know the guy you're marrying. It's a shame there won't be a next time." Azazel said as I felt a hand grab me and I knew that it wasn't Amaimon.
I ripped my arm away from the hand and looked to see a very surprised Egyn. "Well aren't you strong?" he chuckled. "Not that strong." a guy with pink hair said grabbing me as I struggled in his grasp. "Iblis, Egyn, take care of Amaimon." Azazel said as he blew a yellow powder in my face. I coughed and started to feel my body shut down.
I struggled to keep my eyes open as they made their way away from the alter. I kept going in and out of consciousness, trying to stay awake. I saw Egyn restrain Amaimon while Iblis punched him in the stomach. I tiredly reached out, hoping in some way this was all a dream. Iblis grabbed Amaimon by the head and snapped his neck. That woke me up instantly. "AMAIMON!" I yelled and tried to get off the shoulder of the pink haired guy. "How annoying." he hissed.
Then the world went black.
you guys don't know the problems I've had writing this because things kept going wrong on the website. anyhow thank you for reading!
~editor's note: Geez, I really have my work cut out for me. It took me over an hour and a half to edit this chapter. Somebody needs to work on their punctuation. And spelling. And capitalization. But that's what I'm here for! I'm so happy to be working on this series and I'm looking forward to the future! Message me @HoloceneDream if you have any suggestions or if I missed something. Until next time readers!~
