Chapter 16

Bryan's POV

Four months later...

I gulped and brushed off my clothes. I felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to puke, I was so nervous. I couldn't believe it. The day was here. The big day was here. In about thirty minutes, I was getting married to Jakey.

I couldn't believe that it was actually happening. The fact that I was in my tux, bow tie around my neck, flower tucked into the breast pocket, made everything so real.

Honestly, until about a week ago, my engagement to Jakey had felt like a dream, a fantasy that could never come true. But everything around me was happening so quickly, I couldn't even keep up. The days had just flown, and all the sudden, I was here, getting dressed for my wedding.

Deep breaths, Bryan. Deep breaths. You've been waiting for this day your entire life. You're getting married to the man of your dreams. This is what you want. And you can't keep him waiting.

I took one last breath and steadied my nerves. All I needed to do was not throw up and I'd be fine. Yeah. Easier said than done.

============================================================

The limo pulled up at the venue. I still felt like I was gonna throw up, only now it was mixed with dizziness. This was happening, it was actually happening...calm down, Bryan. Don't puke, don't erupt into dragon form, just do this.

I opened the door to the limo and stepped out. After straightening my clothes out and checking my smell, I went inside.

Everyone was there. Mario, Brandon, Ritchie, Austin, Bri, Relena, Hannah, Brick, Michael, Zaro...the only person I couldn't see was David. Then again, after Jakey gave him a good beating, I didn't blame him for not coming.

Kay and Lo'Pho were at the altar as our best man and bridesmaid. The Grandmaster was also there as officiator. And...Jakey. Holy cow, he looked amazing in a white tuxedo. His hair was even fluffier than usual and his face...I didn't think it was even him for a second. That's how incredible he looked.

I took my place at the altar. The Grandmaster started the whole speech thing, but I wasn't listening. This was happening, this was happening... I was going to a married man. And not just to anyone, to someone I'd loved since the day I met him.

I didn't hear a word of the speech until the Grandmaster said, "I pronounce you as one. You may embrace."

Jakey and I complied gratefully. And the kiss was even better than usual.

(YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! WEDDING TEIM! SO CUTEEEEEE!)
