6-Gift
As a celebration for reaching 100 followers, I have blessed y'all with a chapter a day early. :)
Idk if I'll still do a chapter on Tuesday, I'm gonna decide that tomorrow, but I'm happy so here. :)
(Ps: I wrote the chapter (and title) forever ago, so it's just a coincidence that the chapter called gift is my gift to y'all)

"Happy birthday, Toby!" I said, handing my friend the gift I got him.
Today was Tobys ninth birthday, and we were setting up a party for him.
And by we, I mean me, his mom, and this woman who stops by often named Miranda.
"Ooh, what is it?" He asked, his brown eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Open it and find out!"
The brunette swiftly ripped the paper wrapped around the box, gasping as he opened it.
"It's a journal!" He cheered, admiring the beautiful black leather book, gently flipping through the pages. "Thank you, Tommy!"
I laughed, reciprocating the hug he gave me.

Overall, it was a happy time. It felt like a home away from home. Sure, we've known each other for about a month or so now, but the bond we formed already was uncanny. It was like we've known each other for forever.
I laughed as I watched Toby shyly ask his mother for another slice of cake.
"Oh, fine, but only because it's your birthday." She gave in after some arguing, putting another slice on his plate.
"What a tubby." Miranda joked, putting the dessert up before either of us could sneak more.
I gasped. "Tubbo!"
The brunette looked at me, confused. "Where did that come from?"
"You don't like it?" I frowned, scared I might've accidentally hurt his feelings.
He giggled, shaking his head. "No, it's fine. I quite like it, actually."
I smiled, getting another, wider, smile in return.

This is more a filler memory, but I wanted to explain the book Tubbo had. I have one more memory in mind before things start kicking off.
Also, this is unimportant to the story, and will probably only be mentioned like, once, at the very end of the book, but Wilbur is the current king, after Techno died.
I've been looking more into the rise and fall of L'manburg, so ye.
