I sighed irritably, waiting outside the floristry. Tubbo told me to wait for him, because he had a surprise for me.

About ten minutes later, a boy with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes walked out. He looked at me and smiled.

"So, how'd you like it?" He asked, his voice and smile belonging to my best friend.

"Oh, Tubbo?" The boy nodded. "I didn't recognize you for a second there."

Tubbo giggled, using his fingers to fix his hair a bit.

"But I do like it though." I smiled, making the now-blonde boy smile wider.

The two teens giggled like schoolgirls as Tommy tapped a tall brunette on his shoulder.

"Hey, Will!" The teen greeted as the man turned around, confusion flooding his eyes.

"Tommy, what is this?" The man, Will, asked bored.

"Will, meet Toby, my best friend." The teen introduced, gesturing to the shorter blonde. "Tubbo, meet Wilbur, who's the left-hand of the new captain, Jacob."

"And essentially your babysitter." The brunette added. "Anyways, Tommy, Jacob wants to see you. Something about you wanting to be in the guard."

The younger teen gasped before running towards the barracks, leaving Tubbo and Wilbur behind.

"I GOT IN THE GUARD!" Tommy exclaimed the next day as he visited the older teen, hugging him tightly. "I GOT IN!!!"

"Congratulations, Tommy!" Tubbo smiled widely. "You can be like your father now, can't you?"

Tommy nodded, smiling widely. "You should join! If I ever become captain, you'll be my right-hand!"

The older teen grinned, nodding.
