Information: When Izuku sees his friends, he wasn't prepared for what they had to say... Enjoy!

Katsuki trailed towards Izuku's cheek and started to kiss near his ear. He kept softly kissing, going down towards Izuku's jawline. Izuku was panting slightly and Katsuki pulled away. Izuku looked so blissed out that Katsuki almost laughed. He saw Izuku's hand over his chest and Katsuki became concerned suddenly. "Deku?"

"Yeah..?" Izuku questioned out of breath.

Katsuki slowly brought his hand up towards Izuku's chest, placing his palm fully in Izuku's hand. Both of their hands over Izuku's rhythmic heartbeat. "Is something wrong? Was... this too much?" Katsuki asked.

It took a minute before Izuku replied, "This was amazing. You are enough, I'm okay," Izuku says and Katsuki held his hands in Izuku's, gripping them tightly.

Inko called the boys out to eat and the two separated. Izuku still felt his heart hammering in his chest. And Katsuki felt his own heartbeat with a fury that was unknown to both of them. They still had tension between each other that they needed to talk about and clear the air. But for now, they were okay.

"Hey Deku-kun!" Uraraka greeted.

Izuku smiled and waved at her. Backpack on his shoulders as he walked towards her. She smiled brightly and suddenly, blood spills from her mouth. Izuku stopped and mouth opened wide. Her eyes were squeezed shut, as she was so happy to see him. But when she opened them, they were black and blood fell from her eyes. Tears of pain.

"Uraraka..." Izuku whispered. He looked towards her feet as the blood dropped in a crimson puddle. He looked back towards her face only to see she wasn't there anymore.

"Midoriya,"

Izuku turned around to see Todoroki covered in flowers. Izuku's eyes blown open and he backs up only to trip and fall on his ass harshly. Todoroki extended his root-invaded hand and try and help Izuku stand up. Izuku only screamed no, and backed away.

He backed up so far he bumped into someone's legs. He turned around and saw Katsuki. His face abnormally swollen and flowers growing on the left side of his face. His lips were so cracked they were bleeding. His hair a lighter shade of blonde it was almost white. His skin far paler than his usual color.

"Look at me, Deku"

"NO!" Izuku screamed. He turned around and stood up dropping his backpack, and started running but stopped as he was about to bump into Katsuki.

"Look what you've done,"

"W-what do you mean?!" Izuku shouted as he was walking backwards.

"Don't act like you don't know!" Katsuki shouted. "You did this to me!"

Izuku started running again but was harshly shoved to the floor that he hit the back of his head.

"LOOK AT ME!"

"NO!

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT!"

"STOP IT!"

Izuku screamed and covered his ears as Katsuki towered over him. Flowers growing on the ground and around him. "YOU'RE KILLING ME!"

"I'M SORRY!"

"ARE YOU?!"

"YES!"

"Deku..." Katsuki's voice softened. Izuku opened his eyes and looked up at the mutilated face of Katsuki Bakugo. Flowers. "It hurts, Deku..."

"I'm so SORRY Katsuki!" Izuku bellowed. "I-I DIDN'T K-KNOW!"

"H-help me!" Katsuki pleaded in pain.

"I-I HOW?! How can I help?!"

"Love me,"

Izuku was confused, he did love him. "I do l-love you Kacchan!"

"Obviously not!"

"B-but I-I do! I do love you!" Izuku exclaims as the tears spill over.

"You hate me," Katsuki says and Izuku shakes his head saying no. Katsuki saunters over as he becomes angry and blood drips down his body. "YOU HATE ME!"

"I DON'T! I LOVE YOU!"

"THEN WHY ARE YOU RUNNING AWAY FROM ME?!"

"I'M NOT!" Izuku screamed.

"YOU ARE! YOU ARE!"

He was.

Izuku had been running, except that Katsuki kept popping up whenever Izuku didn't want him to. "I'M SORRY! I DON'T WANT TO RUN! YOU'RE SCARING ME!" Izuku yelled as his voice never seemed to give out.

"ALL YOU ARE DOING IS WATCHING ME DIE!" Katsuki barked.

"BUT I'M NOT!"

"BUT YOU ARE!"

"STOP IT!"

"NO!" Katsuki was hovering over Izuku's face. Izuku had his hands tucked to his chest as he curled in a ball, trying to burrow himself into the ground. "Watch me die,"

"NO!" Izuku hollered. He was sobbing and he was scared. Izuku opened his eyes to glance at Katsuki.

Big mistake.

"Watch me Izuku..."

Screams.

🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

"IZUKU!"

Izuku bolted up and gasped for air as if he had been stripped from it. He was hyperventilating heavily and in quick pace. He couldn't breathe.

He can't breath. His chest hurt.

Izuku felt cold hands on his face. He looked at his mother who was on the verge of tears. She wipes something away from Izuku's face. Tears.

Izuku cries out and his mother cradles his head. She sat on the bed and hugged him as he balled his eyes out. She ran her fingers through his hair, as it was slightly matted because of his sweat. His clothes weren't horribly stained, but he had a cold sweat as he dreamt. "Izuku, what just happened?" Inko calmly cooed. Her voice was enough to help Izuku try and calm himself down.

Izuku didn't answer at first, not knowing if this was real or not. "Bad dream..." Izuku says as he sniffed and laid his head in his mother's lap. Her hands still combing through Izuku's. "Do I still have hanahaki?" Izuku suddenly asked and Inko held him close.

"No honey..." Izuku closed his eyes. He felt his heart calm down, and he felt pain in his surgical wounded areas. He ignored it.

"I had a dream where... I gave it to someone. I don't k-know i-if I had it, but I felt like t-the f-flowers came b-back," Izuku says as he hiccuped through his speech. Stuttering.

"Oh honey..." Inko couldn't say much. She had read some articles about people who survived or had the surgery. Some resulted in nightmares because of trauma, and she had no other choice but to think this is what it was. Because well, that's exactly what it was. Izuku was traumatized. "Do you want to sleep in my room?"

Izuku giggles and sat up. "Isn't that childish?"

"You may be 16 going on 17 but you're still my son. You are still a child. So yes, it is. If you feel more comfortable, I'll set up clean blankets and a pillow,"

"No, mom it's fine. I think I'm just going to change my sheets and take a bath... then I'll go back to bed,"

Inko didn't know what to think. She felt like she had to stay up. She was already up and didn't want to go back to bed, despite her being very tired. "Okay... call for me if you need me, I mean it Izuku," she says more seriously.

"Okay," with that Inko left the room, kissing his forehead, and Izuku closed his eyes, wiping them dry. He sat up and ripped his sheets off and blankets. He had to clean them anyways, and they would just smell like sweat if he went back to sleep. Luckily, he still had extra sheets and blankets.

He threw the blankets down on the floor and grabbed an extra pair of clothes, swooping his towel and headed towards the bathroom.

Once he got in there he set everything down on the countertop by the sink. He felt his mind start to swim.

Izuku slipped his pants off and set them outside in the hallway. He would pick them up after he got out of the shower and throw them into the laundry bin. He continued with his shirt but felt a slight ache once he raised the shirt over his head. The stretching still made him feel sore. There happen to still be bruising, but it wasn't horrible.

He throws his shirt out with his pants and he looked up in the mirror. He really did look like utter shit.

He had dark tired eyes and his skin looked in dire need of hydration. His lips were chapped and his face slightly puffy. He had to be careful with washing his wounds, so he just settled to take a bath.

In all honestly, he wasn't the biggest fan of bathing in the bathtub. He preferred showers. Sitting in warm water was nice occasionally, but when you are really dirty all you'd be doing is sitting in your own filth. And that made Izuku's skin crawl. Now more than ever because he was afraid to see blood or anything colorful in the water.

Izuku took his boxers off and once more threw them with the rest of the misfits. He had already started the water when he walked in, and now it was at a preferred height. He stopped the water.

He felt like he was drowning.

He doesn't know when he started to feel horrible... he does. It was when he realized he was "losing" flowers. He didn't know why he was upset, but he felt like he lost a part of himself.

Izuku stepped into the steaming pool of water. He winced at how hot he made it, but he worked with it. He finally made himself sit down and let the hot water burn his skin slightly. He could feel it, but after a few minutes, the pain was subsiding and he was used to the temperature.

He brought his knees up and wrapped his arms around them, resting his chin on his knees. He stared at the clear water and grabbed some soap at the side. He poured the solution into the water until there was a big blob floating to the bottom. He reached his hand down into the water and moved it around swiftly.

One by one bubbles started to emerge. Now the bathtub was filled with bubbles, and it got in his hair. Izuku felt nice in this water, but he felt trapped. He hovered his hand over his stitches and closed his eyes.

Knock knock knock!

Izuku opened his eyes as his chin was at the length with the water. Had he fallen asleep?

"Izuku are you okay?!" Inko asked with slight panic.

Izuku didn't answer at first but remembered that he was still bathing, the water was lukewarm. "Y-yeah! I'm okay..."

"Honey, you've been in there for an hour and a half,"

Had it really been that long?!

Inko opened the door a smidge, and peaked her head in. She could tell something was going through the boy's head. She walked in and sat down on the toilet seat (the lid was closed). "Izuku, honey, you barely washed your hair..."

Izuku said nothing, and Inko didn't push him. She stood up and walked out of the bathroom leaving the door open. A minute later she came walking back in with a large bowl. She filled the bowl with warm water and poured soap on her hands after wetting them.

She scooted closer towards Izuku and told him to lean his head back. He complied and she started to run her fingers through his hair firmly. This woman may be soft but she had a mean backhand. Something Izuku had experienced occasionally.

Izuku closed his eyes as he felt his mind start to mitigate. He felt soothed by his mothers touch and exhaled calmly. She poured some of the warm water over his head as she washed the soap out of his hair. She continued this process until she was satisfied that he was clean. Like a mama for her baby cub.

Izuku drained the water and dried off with his towel. As he did, he looked at his wrinkled fingertips and was reminded of a wilting flower. He felt his eyes and the inside of his nose burn. He forgot about it. He had too.

He kept rubbing the towel on his body. Rub rub rub. Itch itch itch.

It was back. It was back. Was it back?

He then dressed in his clothes and felt more awake, but he really did need sleep. He couldn't go back to sleep knowing he was going to dream again.

He walked back to his room and smiled. His mom kindly changed his sheets while he was in the bathroom. He crawled into bed and closed his eyes. He didn't want to dream, but he was so tired. So he just closed his eyes as he was stuck between sleeping and being awake. Just darkness all around.

Izuku woke up that morning hearing voices in the other room. He quickly dressed and ruffled up his hair before stepping out and seeing Iida and Uraraka. He smiled and his friends seemed genuinely happy to see him.

"Hey Deku-kun!" Uraraka greeted.

"Midoriya! It's nice to see you all rested up!" Iida exclaimed. Rested up? More like trying to rest without waking up.

"Hey guys!!" Izuku excitedly exclaims. He walked over and they all group hugged. It was gentle and Izuku realized how much he really missed his friends.

The three go to sit down on the couches as Inko worked in the kitchen. "How have you been feeling?" Iida kindly asked with small hand gestures.

"I'm not throwing up flowers anymore," Izuku says timidly.

"So you really did have hanahaki..." Uraraka muttered loud enough for the two to hear. She looked like she was in shock, even though everyone in class had to of figured it out by now or have heard it from someone else.

"Y-you didn't know?" Izuku couldn't help but ask. She looked up at him with sad eyes.

"I mean— I guess... I knew something was wrong. I remember hearing people talk about it but I wasn't completely convinced... until now at least,"

The room became quiet and Iida felt the need to break the awkward tension and mend it back together, "Is there anything we can do to help you?"

"I mean, I think I'm okay—"

"Are you?" Uraraka interjected. The two look at her. She seemed hurt. "How come you didn't tell us, Deku?" she asked.

"I was scared. I didn't want to burden you with my problems,"

"Todoroki knew."

"I didn't tell him! I swear, he just knew because... because..." Izuku didn't know if he should say. Not many people knew Todoroki had suffered the same disease.

"No. It's fine, I shouldn't have... snapped like that. I just feel a little betrayed in a way," Uraraka admits.

"I can see how you would feel that way, and if I'm being honest, I do feel a little disappointed you didn't confide in us, Midoriya," Iida admits.

Izuku was quiet for a minute, guilt crawling up his spine. "I'm so sorry guys! I should have trusted you enough to tell you, I wasn't even planning on telling anyone..."

"Why not?" Iida asked curiously.

"I originally planned on not getting the surgery,"

"WHAT?!" both Iida and Uraraka exclaimed. Izuku looked down ashamed, and hid his gaze from his friends piercing eyes.

"I really thought I would forget about how I felt. I didn't want to forget my feelings, a-and I knew he didn't love me back at the time—"

"He?" Iida questioned.

Izuku's face goes red and he scratched his head nervously, "Y-yeah..."

"Bakugo..." Uraraka says bluntly. She looked up at Izuku with sparkling eyes and in need of answers. "It's Bakugo isn't it?"

Izuku looked down at his hands in his lap and nodded his head. Uraraka felt a pang of jealously and guilt. "I'm really sorry I didn't tell you guys..."

"It's alright, Midoriya. We understand how hard it must have been just for someone to find out something so personal," Iida calmly said.

"Earlier you said that he, Bakugo, didn't love you at the time. What about now? Do you not feel love anymore?" Uraraka asked.

"I still feel love... I still love him, very much," Izuku says in a quieter voice. His face felt like it was getting warmer and his heart was hammering in his chest at he felt apprehensive.

"That means... he really does love you back?" Uraraka asked her voice almost cracking, and a hurt expression.

"I mean, I would imagine. I'm not dead so..."

"You could have died," Iida cut in. "We were really worried about you..."

"I know, I'm really sorry," Izuku apologizes.

"It's not your fault, Midoriya. I remember when my brother was out of commission I didn't say anything. And you were worried, I understand. You don't have to apologize for something you have no control over," Iida said and Izuku nodded his head feeling his heart hurt.

"I can't imagine what it's like to have hanahaki. I would hate to experience it..." Uraraka says with a slight quiver.

"I doubt you will," Izuku says trying to reassure her.

"I'm not sure, I love someone... but they don't love me back," she says as tears spring her eyes.

"Who is it?" Iida asked.

"It's not worth it anymore... I think I should leave," Uraraka said and stood up. The two boys stood up frantically. "I'm sorry Deku, I think I just need time to think. I know none of this was your fault," she said with a teary smile.

"Uraraka..." Izuku started.

"I'm fine, I promise. I just wanted to confess... and I'm sorry," she said as she left.

She left and Izuku was left dumbfounded. Iida however seemed to catch onto what she was implying. "I think she meant you," Iida said. Izuku looked at him with wide eyes and in disbelief.

"M-me?! How could she like me? I'm not even worth that..." Izuku says and Iida gave him a hurt look.

"Midoriya, you are incredible. You work hard and I know everyone in our class sees that. Possibly us the most. She takes a liking to you and sees your values. You are worth liking. And obviously Bakugo thinks so, or else you wouldn't be here now, would you?" Iida explained with a rhetorical question.

Izuku thought Iida had a good point. Izuku really wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Katsuki liking him back. Izuku would still have lived, given he had taken the opinion for surgery. But if he hadn't he definitely would have died. And now Uraraka likes him in a way he can't return.

Izuku felt like he had really done it. Iida places a hand on his shoulder. "Listen, I doubt she will get hanahaki. It's rare, and if it does happen, we will be there for her. I suggest you two talk about this alone, I wouldn't want to impose. Thank you for having us over Midoriya, I really hope you message me, the both of us if you need anything,"

"Alright Iida, thank you for caring," Izuku says with his eyes teary.

"Of course! What are best friends for?" he asked and Izuku smiled. Iida left and politely said goodbye to Izuku's mother who happen to walk in the room as he was leaving.

Inko smiled sweetly and waved goodbye. Once she locked the door she looked at Izuku who was abnormally quiet. She had heard the whole conversation, and Izuku had an idea that she had.

Izuku started crying. She walked over to him and gave him a hug. She softly stroked his hair and whispered encouraging words in his ear.
