A/N: Hullo my wonderful Greekies! How are you? Here we have the first real chapter of this story and I'm so excited! As usual, please love on this story, and, of course, I have my question at the bottom since it helps move the story along, plus everyone loves bragging about their OC (well, almost, I don't want to exclude anyone). And one of the characters in this story, Nicholas, has a birthday in three days, so happy birthday to him! (Even if he is fictional.) Also, yeah, all of the relationships are together, BUT if you guys don't like anything about the character relationship, just tell me and we can fix that in a second! If I wrote your character wrong, or I wrote something that they just wouldn't do, please tell me! Anyhow, on with the story! (7k words long.)

ℛ𝒶𝓃𝓅𝓊𝓃𝓏ℯ𝓁'𝓈 𝒫ℴ𝒾𝓃𝓉 ℴ𝒻 𝒱𝒾ℯ𝓌:

"Cassandra no!" Rapunzel yelled as she reached out to Cassandra, barely missing her shoulder as she tried to run towards her. "Stop! It's dangerous!" She shouted, but it seemed useless; it was as if Cassandra's newfound power made it impossible for her to hear Rapunzel.

"Stop chasing Rapunzel," Cassandra said, her face stuck in a horrible glare. Rapunzel wished that glare would turn back into the carefree smirk Cassandra typically had on, but it was like the moonstone was controlling her.

Behind Cassandra was a blue portal. It was the same blue as the ocean, but it didn't feel as calm or beautiful. It felt like the ocean during a lightning storm, as if power ran through the waves and like it was dangerous to cross. No matter how far gone Cassandra was, Rapunzel still loved her friend, she didn't want her running into something like that.

"But Cassandra," Rapunzel pleaded as she grabbed Cassandra's sleeve to prevent her from going anywhere closer to the portal that basically had doom written all over in red paint, "it looks dangerous," she added, practically begging.

"Who cares?" Cassandra but back as she tried to tug her sleeve from Rapunzel.

Seconds before, Cassandra had lost her precious moonstone to the portal, and she seemed intent on getting it back. Rapunzel partially didn't want her to get it back considering she had seen what the stone could do, it brought destruction wherever it went. She nearly killed Cassandra and herself with the incantation linked with the stone. For Cassandra to have all that power, Rapunzel feared she may hurt herself.

Rapunzel wished Eugene would be able to get there to help her convince Cassandra not to go to the portal. Well, Rapunzel wasn't even sure if the blue portal even was a portal, but she's read books on portals, so it had to be one. Rapunzel just tugged as hard as she could on Cassandra's arm in hopes that Cassandra would slow down enough for Eugene to arrive.

"Let go, Rapunzel!" Cassandra growled as she roughly tugged back on her sleeve, which meant for her to have Rapunzel to have a tug-of-war fight.

Rapunzel heard the pounding of footsteps and sighed in relief. Unfortunately, this caused her grip to loosen and Cassandra was able to jerk the sleeve out of Rapunzel's hand ... almost. Rapunzel barely managed to stay on, but the jerk caused her to fall onto Cassandra, and she felt both of them tumble into the portal.

"Rapunzel!" Eugene yelled and Rapunzel looked up to see Eugene with his arm stretched out as if trying to grab a hold of her from meters away, she also saw Lance hot on his heels.

"Eugene!" Rapunzel screamed as she started to reach out for him, but then remembered that Cassandra was falling beneath her in the portal. "I'm sorry!" She yelled before leaping into the portal, hoping to save her best friend -- even if her best friend didn't think she needed saving.

ℋℯ𝓁'𝓈 𝒫ℴ𝒾𝓃𝓉 ℴ𝒻 𝒱𝒾ℯ𝓌:

Hel quickly snuck away out of the head girl cabin. She had told everyone that she needed to use the lady's room -- that was an utter lie, of course. She just didn't want to listen to the boring parts about her job as head girl, she knew everything already, so what was the point? Stupid mortals thinking that they needed to lecture the future queen of the underworld about punishments for students. She knew the right punishments and was proud of that. Of course, she loved the power she had of giving detentions and taking away house points, she adored it and strived to get more. Call her power-hungry, but she preferred the term ambitious. You had a lot of power when you were a queen, and she intended on earning that power and getting to that goal because deserved it, not because it was handed to her like candied tarts on a platter (a little cheating here and there wouldn't hurt either, cheating was just shortcuts).

Hel debated on where she was going to go, she tucked a hair behind her ear and she sent dirty looks over to the firsties. She quickly mumbled the spell that would take off her illusion; the illusion covering up the dead half of her. She then glared at one of the little firsties staring at her, and she nearly laughed when the little boy nearly peed his pants.

Hel looked around and saw she was close to the Marauder cabin. Having nowhere else she particularly wanted to go (she did have the option of going to the pureblood supremacist cabin, but she would be there for the majority of the time going to Hogwarts anyway) she knocked on the sliding door before letting herself in since the door had been left unlocked. Just as she did though, she felt someone else open the door and she came face to face with Andrew Thomas.

"Oh, hi!" Andrew said with a bright smile, it was probably the first thing you noticed about him. That, along with his bright pink hair and his carrier bag he seemed to always carry around. Hel thought he carried that thing everywhere like how her father always has a knife in his sleeve. "I was just leaving! I was here talking to James and Peter. Especially Peter since—"

"I don't need your life story," Hel said coldly, but then couldn't help but soften a little at Andrew's sweetness, "But you can go. Have a great day," she added in a kinder tone before she stepped to the side, letting Andrew pass. Andrew smiled and waved bye before their bright pink hair, their smile, and his messenger bag went off to another cabin.

Hel looked to make sure he was completely gone and that no one else was around her. She nearly made a mental note to take off points from Gryffindor because of something stupid the Marauders did just to keep her rep. But she saw no one, so she was safe. Hel closed the door behind her and locked the door with a soft click. She then turned around and faced the Marauders: Messrs Moony, Padfoot, Prongs, Wormtail, and Misses Lupa.

"S'up Hel? How's my bitch doing?" Scarlett asked with a nod of her head and a smirk. She played around with the silver lip ring she had with her tongue as she laid an arm on top of her leg. She was sitting with one leg like she was sitting cross-legged and the other forming a triangle, the top of which she had her arm laying on. Despite her being in Slytherin -- the same house as Hel -- she had on red and black flannel instead of her traditional black robes, although the rest of her outfit was fitting the class dress code.

"The crown in my head," Hel said with a grin on her face as she answered Scarlett's first question. Hel softened all the way and left her cold shell out in the hallway when she saw Scarlett grin, and her heart melted when she saw Sirius. "But I'm doing quite well. Now, how is my bitch doing?" She asked, her question directed towards Scarlett, but then she heard an offended gasp and she shook her head smiling, "How are my bitches doing," she corrected herself as she looked over to her boyfriend.

"I'm feeling like a bad bitch and my dear brother over here," Scarlett wrapped an arm around Remus and hugged him for a second before pulling away, "is happy, so I'd say I'm feeling brilliant."

"I'm good!" Sirius replied quickly with shining eyes. Hel just smiled before taking the empty seat by Sirius and pressing the quickest of kisses on his cheek, pressing her hand on his leather-covered shoulder for balance. Like Scarlett, he was wearing everything in the traditional class dress code except for his black robes. Instead, had his signature black leather jacket on (which Hel would not admit to having worn).

Hel adjusted her robes so that she was more comfortable and brought out an engraved dagger she had gotten from Scarlett in the third year for her birthday. Despite Hel having thousands of daggers of the highest quality immortals with thousands of years of experience could give you, Scarlett's dagger remained one of her favourites. The two were close-knit after all, Scarlett was one of the first few people to befriend Hel (even after seeing her disgusting dead half) after Lily and the Black sisters of course.

"So you're Captain of the Slytherin quidditch team I hear?" Hel asked Scarlett with a smile on her face as she discreetly laced her fingers through Sirius'. She knew it was okay to show affection where she was, though, it was just a habit of hers to keep her relationship on the down-low with Sirius.

The two had gotten together near the end of the sixth year. After about three years of mutual friends pushing for then to get together. Hel remembered two people actually them closer together when they were sitting in the Gryffindor common room together; she didn't remember who it was. Though, that was probably because they ran away the second she raised her wand and very long and pointy knife. They finally got together though while they were sitting on top of the Astronomy Tower. The story was actually quite funny. Sirius had found a muggle shopping cart just sitting on the roof from one of the Marauders' previous pranks (Professor Flitwick would never be the same) and asked Hel if she thought he could survive if he jumped in the cart and rolled off of the tower. He yelled for him not to think about it and when he asked why she had admitted that she loved him. Long story short, they kissed, they got together, Sirius spent a month of his summer holiday at Asgard.

"Who else would it be, Snivellus?" Scarlett asked and she and Hel started laughing just a bit. They didn't giggle though oh no they did not giggle. Giggling was for other girls, not the future queen of the underworld and a big bad werewolf bitch.

"Oh, how are you, Potter? How was your summer holiday? Oh hello, Remus! How are you? Oh dear Pettigrew! How have you been?" James asked sarcastically, then answered his own questions, "Oh I'm brilliant thank you! The holiday was amazing, thank you! Yes, I'm fine thank you. I've been good, Lokidottir!"

Hel turned to Scarlett with a serious look on her face, and Scarlett made the same one back. They both think at the same time that Hel scoffed at James and Scarlett rolled her eyes with a grin.

𝒮𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓁ℯ𝓉𝓉'𝓈 𝒫ℴ𝒾𝓃𝓉 ℴ𝒻 𝒱𝒾ℯ𝓌:

Scarlett turned to Hel after James made another one of his stupid (yet humorous in a way) remarks and made a serious face. Though, the two broke it off at the same time as Scarlett rolled her eyes in exasperation at James with a turn of her face and chuckled.

Hel was one of the first people Scarlett talked to — and befriended, and not just at Hogwarts either, one of her first friends. Being a werewolf -- yeah, she as a werewolf, if you had a problem with that, get the fuck out of her way or she will make you — she never really had friends, she only had Remus. Ever since they were two little four-year-olds, they only had each other, two young werewolves in a very cold world who discriminated against werewolves. Scarlett would have none of that shit though, she made sure that Remus was loved and happy, and she made it her sole mission to destigmatize werewolves, no matter the cost. Remus deserved to live a happy and long life without people shunning him for being a werewolf, and Scarlett was going to do everything in her power to make sure her twin brother got the life he persevered.

If it wasn't already obvious, she got into Slytherin due to her ambition, and Remus got into Gryffindor. If you thought that weakened their bond in any way, you'd be wrong, the two were still close as ever and Scarlett wouldn't have it any other way.

Scarlett linked pinkies with Remus, who was sitting next to her. It was just a little habit and thing they did since childhood and if you thought the gesture was romantic in any way, she'll kick your ass right off of the Astronomy tower because that's fucking disgusting. They weren't the pure-blooded people who interbred to keep their bloodlines "pure". She'll tell any haughty pure blood right in their face that the only thing "pure" about them was that they were purebred bitch and she'd feel so good about doing that.

Of course, not all purebloods were haughty because of their blood status. Take Sirius for example, he had been disowned because he wanted equality and didn't believe that muggle-borns and half-bloods were inferior. Heck, he's fucked a half-blood werewolf! (Not her, Remus) And James! Well, sure James was a haughty bitch (that Scarlett has a crush once upon a time, now they're just friends), but he was a haughty bitch, not because he was a pure-blood or because he was a Potter. No, he was haughty because he was James.

Speaking of crushes and love...

"Hey, is Lils coming anytime soon?" Scarlet asked Hel.

Lily was — still is — Scarlett's girlfriend. The two got together at the end of the fifth year, it was just a quiet night at the Gryffindor tower (a miracle, she knows, the Marauders, minus Remus, had managed to land themselves overnight detention). It was really late, and everyone else had gone to bed, even Remus. It was spring, yet the fire was still glowing softly with orange light. Most people said that Lily's hair was a fiery red, but Scarlett thought her hair was way redder and way more beautiful than fire. The two had been sitting on the couch in front of the fire when Lily gently laid her head on Scarlett's chest. Of course, fifteen-year-old Scarlett internally freaked because her crush of two years was laying on her, but on the outside, she kept her cool. After a few minutes of soft breathing and the crackling of embers, they both admitted they loved each other at the same time, and a beautiful relationship blossomed from it like Scarlett's favourite cherry blossoms.

Hel answered immediately, "She is, I just wanted to sneak away early since they were talking about punishments, and I know all about punishments so there was no point in me being there," Hel explained, then looked at the door. Hel got up (Scarlett noted that she still had her fingers locked with Sirius') and unlocked the door, a few seconds later, a bright-smiling Lily came into the room. Scarlett saw how her smile seemed to light up the entire compartment by ten notches, or, it felt like that to Scarlett.

"Red!" Lily said with her arms outstretched. Scarlett smiled and briefly unhooked pinkies to go and hug Lily, giving her a big kiss on the lips in greeting her. Of course, she saw her just a week ago when both of them went to the Potter Mansion to visit Sirius and James (mostly Sirius) but one week felt like an eternity without her Lilyflower. They kissed for what felt like a long time to Scarlett, and apparently, the boys had the same thoughts as she heard the yell at her behind them.

"Oi! Get a compartment you two!" Sirius and James yelled, and Scarlett could tell from their tones that they were being playful. Scarlett just grinned into the kiss before flipping Sirius and James off, which caused Sirius to bark out a laugh and James to gasp in mock offence.

Lily giggled as Scarlett held her tight right after they broke away from each other's lips. She was about four inches taller than Lily, and she thought it was a cute height difference. Once Scarlett pulled away from Lily, she saw that Hel sat in Sirius' lap, leaving an empty spot for Lily to sit. What ended up happening though was that Peter moved over to the other side which left Remus, Scarlett, and Lily on one side, and Peter, James, Sirius, and Hel on the other. Scarlett linked pinkies with Remus again and wrapped her other arm around Lily.

Suddenly Hel shuddered and squeezed her eyes shut as if she was in pain. Scarlett watched as Sirius freaked out a little and hugged Hel from behind.

"What was that?" Lily asked, a little worried, "Did someone curse your name?" She asked as she leaned forward closer to Hel.

"No, that isn't' it, I don't—" Hel paused for a second as she breathed a little heavy, "— I don't know what that was," she said in a softer voice, and Scarlett could tell for the look of her face that she was confused, but trying to hide it (she recognized the face because it looked like th much funnier version Remus had when he was learning a new skill). "Pardon me," she said abruptly as she removed Sirius' hands from around her, "I'm going to check the halls," she said before pressing a kiss to Sirius' lips and leaving.

Sirius craned his neck all the way until Hel was completely gone (Scarlett nearly scoffed at how stupid he looked. He looked a lot like a turtle) then he looked to everyone else.

"Do you guys know what that was about?" He asked, tilting his head to the side a bit in perplexion.

Scarlett shrugged, "No fucking clue, I'll talk to her about it when we get to the Great Hall though," she said, then smiled as Lily leaned her head on Scarlett's shoulder.

𝒱𝒾ℴ𝓁ℯ𝓉'𝓈 𝒫ℴ𝒾𝓃𝓉 ℴ𝒻 𝒱𝒾ℯ𝓌:

Violet smiled to herself as she put her muggle headphones on and turned up her music, drowning out any other noise. She grinned to herself as a song started playing and danced like no one was watching, and, well, no one was watching her.

Violet had managed to land a compartment to herself and she closed the compartment door. She had all of her stuff in the compartment, and the only thing left for her to do was to dance to her music. Violet grabbed ahold of her wand and put it close to her mouth. After putting a charm on her voice so that no one could hear her, she started belting out the lyrics to the song playing through her headphones. She felt the engravings of stars on her wand under her fingers and smiled at the familiar feel of her fingertips running over the light engravings of those beautiful stars radiated beauty the same way she radiated happiness (or, the way she hoped she radiated happiness). She swung her hips and danced around the compartment, occasionally she bumped it into a chair, but she just ignored it and kept on going. Dancing and music made her feel good, what was the point in stopping over a measly thing such as bumping into a chair.

She rarely took care of herself (mentally and physically) despite her always encouraging others to stay on top of their heath. Yeah, she's a hypocrite. Hooray! But still! Whenever she got the chance to have a little break from reality, it just felt so good, probably because it was so rare.

After who knows how long -- Violet wasn't keeping track of the time -- she felt someone tap her shoulder and she freaked out for a moment since she thought she had been alone, but then she turned around and came face to face with her best friends: Regulus Black.

"REGGIE!" Violet tried to scream out, but then remembered he couldn't hear her with the charm she placed on herself. She thought of the counterspell and then quickly regained her ability to talk to everyone, "REGGIE!" She yelled out, and this time regulus smiled.

Yes, as an explanation, she could do wordless and wandless magic. She had learned how to do both at a young age, and she was very proud to say she was pretty good at the skills she worked for.

Violet held her arms out and leapt in Regulus' arms causing her headphones to fall off and land on the floor. Violet would pick them up later, she was a little more focused on greeting her best friend who she felt like she hadn't seen in forever, when, in reality, it had only been about two or three months. Violet heard Regulus chuckle as he patted her back as held her. They stayed like that for a moment before Violet bounced away, a bright smile on her face.

Yeah, the friendship seemed unlikely, they were both in different years (Regulus in sixth, Violet in seventh) and different houses (Regulus was in Slytherin, Violet was very much not a Slytherin). Yet, after Violet had a bad day that still haunts her (though not as frequently as it used to) they started to hang out together, and a beautiful friendship blossomed. Plus Regulus took a few classes meant for seventh years so that he could graduate early because he was smart like that. This meant they saw each other in classes sometimes.

"How are you Reg?" She asked, her bright smile never faltering.

"I'm good, you?" Regulus asked in a much more calm tone, but Violet could hear that he was happy to see her. Violet watched as he bent over to pick up her headphones (the Walkman was in her pocket) and handed them to her. Violet hugged him briefly in thanks before putting the blue headphones around her neck. The blue headphones matched her hair colour, which was also bright blue. She likes to think that her hair colour matches her personality: bright, exciting, and bubbly. Okay, maybe that was a little pinker, but blue for Ravenclaw, right?

Did you forget to mention she was a Ravenclaw? Well, she was! Sure they weren't as loud as the Gryffindors, as loved as the Hufflepuffs, or as infamous as the Slytherins, but they had intelligence and creativity on their side, and the most important people in the world are the ones who have brains and a creative mind!

"I'm brilliant" Violet responded, her smile never leaving her face. Regulus sat down on the chair not occupied by Ophelia (Violet's grey cat who was named after her step-mother who Violet adored, both cat and step-mother) and Violet sat down beside him. Ophelia meowed and lept over into Regulus' lap. Though, Violet was sure she did this because Regulus' lap was the one in direct sunlight.

Regulus pet Ophelia as he looked at Violet, "So, I saw what you did to your boyfriend at Kings Cross," he said with a grin as he looked at Violet.

Violet blushed a bit, "Oh shut up," she said good-naturally before nudging Regulus with her elbow slightly "But I bet the first chance he gets, someone is going to go grab his boyfriend and song him senseless in a broom closet, maybe you'll bang him. You have multiple options here," she added teasingly, giggling a little bit when Regulus blushed a deep scarlet.

Violet managed to stop giggling at Regulus' red face. Violet was the only other person other than Ellio (who was Regulus' boyfriend, so he probably didn't count) who knew about Regulus and Ellio's relationship.

Regulus rolled his eyes before getting a serious look on his face (his blush subsided, unfortunately), "Are the nightmares alright?" He asked in a soft tone.

Now you may be asking, "Vi! What nightmares?!" Well, let her explain:

Violette was born into a fairly wealthy pureblood family and her family was very accepting, not like all those pureblood supremacists. Nope! They were accepting of every one of all blood types, what was the point in the blood type anyway? They just wanted everybody to be happy! Growing up, Violette was a very happy child, her family never had problems with money or communication and their life seemed to be perfect.

Of course, some good things have to end. When she was four and her family was spending Christmas at her grandparents' house with their whole extended family — she's talking aunts, uncles, cousins, weird grand-uncle Mike who nobody really knows how he fits into the family but still loves — they had run out of rooms on the upper floors so her, her mum, and her dad, slept on the couches that night. Which was their lucky move, Violet isn't sure if she was lucky, or if fate really hated her (she'd have to get back to Hel on that. Yeah, she was friends with Hel. Once upon a time she thought that was impossible too, trust her). At some point in the night, a fire broke out and she and her family barely escaped with their lives. Unfortunately, their other family members weren't as lucky as them, they died in the fire.

Because of this, Violet was deathly afraid of fire, all of it. The heat, the flames, the way it danced across places like weeds devouring a flower garden, the way it swallows buildings like a tyrant king swallowing expensive wine even though the money that was used to buy the wine could feed a family for a month, the way it swallows lives in its orange flames; Violet feared it all. She had nightmares about it every week, sometimes every other week if she was lucky, or every other day if it was really bad. Of course, if it got really bad at Hogwarts, she would sneak into her boyfriend's room and cuddle with him (even though once upon a time he contributed to the problem and made it worse but they were young, and they were stupid. Well, Violet didn't think she was stupid, but her boyfriend definitely was), and if she was home she'd be with her parents and then write a letter to Reggie the next day (Regulus was nice in the way that he sends an owl back immediately.)

"They're okay, you know how many letters I sent you," Violet said, her smile disappearing, but then she tried to look on the bright side as her face curved back up the way she thought felt more natural. "But come on! Tell me all the juicy details about the date you and Ellio went a month ago! You obviously have to get back to the other Slytherins soon, but I want to hear all the details!" She exclaimed, her smile reaching back to its lovely level of brightness that could probably outshine a muggle lightbulb if she compared the two.

Regulus chuckled before going into the story of how both he and Ellio snuck out of their homes to go on a date...

ℰ𝓁𝓁𝒾ℴ'𝓈 𝒫ℴ𝒾𝓃𝓉 ℴ𝒻 𝒱𝒾ℯ𝓌:

Ellio smirked a cruel smirk as he played with the pocket watch in his hand. You could tell it cost more than a normal person could make in a lifetime and here Ellio was, playing around with it as if it had cost a Knut. Ellio raised an eyebrow in delight at what Zabini was saying. Yes, Zabini, what was the point in calling — and knowing — people by their first names when your family title and blood status — mostly just your blood statutes — were the only things that ever mattered in this world?

"I could just smell the stench of that mudblood girl from a mile away, it's about as noticeable as her ginger hair," Zabini said with his thick Italian as he laughed at himself, everyone else joining in, Ellio included. He flashed his eyes over to Severus, who was sitting across from him, and Ellio was sure he saw sadness in his eyes, he knew exactly which filthy mudblood girl they were talking about.

"I can't believe she's Headgirl," Lestrange added in with disgust lacking his voice like poison lacing in a goblet, "Can you believe it? Hogwarts, stooping so low as to appoint a filthy mudblood as a head girl. But then again, that's Gryffindor for you. Now our Head Girl: Hel Lokidottir. That's a real head girl, a girl of the purest of blood. The mudblood could never even comprehend her level." he added.

Ellio agreed whole-heartedly, partially because Hel was one of his friends and he thought she needed protecting at all costs, even if she was capable of protecting herself on her own, being a goddess and all. (Ellio would never admit what he thought to Hel though) Partially because mudblood should be appointed as a high position amongst students, like being Headgirl. Hell, they didn't deserve to go to Hogwarts at all!! They stole magic, and their blood was dirty, they didn't deserve anything.

"We should corner her and hex her in the corridor between the first and second period," Crabbe suggested with an ugly grin on his face.

"No, she's always around Black, both of the Lupins, Longbottom, Fortescue, Potter, and McKinnon, we wouldn't stand a chance," Severus mumbled, and Ellio sent him a quick dirty look. Severus called Lily a mudblood in front of the entire school, and now he was defending her? Even Ellio wouldn't stoop to that level.

Everyone agreed with Severus though and then they started talking about "Lord" Voldemort and Death Eater things. Ellio zoned out a bit though because he truly didn't care. He didn't want to be a death eater, oh no, he wouldn't bow down to anyone, not even the "almighty Dark Lord" no. Ellio valued everything the Death Eaters fought for, but he refused to bow before anyone, he didn't care what their blood status was, how powerful they were, nothing. Ellio would be the one with people bowing before him, he would be the supreme Dark Lord, not "Lord Voldemort''. Though, if someone asked him about the conversation, he would've heard enough to answer them so he wouldn't make him look like an idiot. If there was something Ellio Mintz wasn't, it was an idiot, or a disgusting halfie or a filthy mudblood, but those were given.

Instead, he focused his mind to Regulus, he smiled on the inside at just the thought of his loving boyfriend. Sure, he did put on the facade of the cold, manipulative pureblood, but Regulus had been able to melt that all away and reveal the soft, sensitive Elliot. Not that he liked to admit he had a sensitive or even soft side.

Ellio lit up on the inside as he remembered his last date with Regulus -- if you could really even call it a date, but when you were secretly dating, even the smallest things could be considered a date. They had both managed to sneak out right before sunset over the break and apparated to a small hill in a forest that was near both of their manors. Yes, they could apparate even though they were both sixteen. All of the pureblood parents liked to teach their children how to apparate when they were around fourteen, no matter how dangerous it was. Regulus and Ellio both sat watching the sunset with each other, Ellio would admit to absolutely adoring the time spent that day with Regulus.

Ellio had been covering for Regulus while he went to see his friend, who just so happened to be a very annoying and bubbly Ravenclaw girl. Ellio would stick to his claim when he said that her entire being was annoying other than her sarcasm. Plus her family was full of blood traitors who thought mudblood and halfies were good people. How pathetic, just admit that you're weak and move on. Unfortunately, he saw her more often than he'd like since he and Regulus hang out often, and Bellerose and Regulus hang out often. Not that he particularly liked sharing Regulus with a blood traitor girl, but Regulus was happy with his best friend, so Ellio could deal with it. If something made Regulus happy even if he didn't really like it, he would deal with it since seeing Regulus happy made him happy.

Speaking of Regulus, Ellio saw both him and Hel come into the compartment, Regulus letting Hel get in first. Ellio watched as Hel sat in the seat closest to the window, and Regulus sat right next to him. Ellio snapped out of his Regulus daydream for the real deal and looked on either side of him, Lestrange was on one side, and Regulus on the other. Ellio discreetly moved closer to Regulus as Hel made herself comfortable by Zabini, who made sure to keep away from Severus. The spot occupied by Zabini once held Malfoy when Ellio was in his second year, but the Zabini boy took his spot.

Ellio took Regulus' hand and gently moved the fabric of his left sleeve up a bit to feel the Dark Mark on his forearm. Of course, he couldn't actually feel it, but he knew it was there and he knew he was tracing the exact marks on the right spots from tracing it so many times over. He couldn't believe Regulus had gotten the mark — he couldn't believe Regulus' parents made him get the mark. Ellio knew Regulus, he was more like his blood-traitor brother that he liked to admit, he loved blue hair and didn't approve of hexing mudbloods in the hallways. Ellio remembered the letter he read from Regulus over summer break — the time when his parents made him get the mark — he could still see how very messy Regulus' handwriting had been as if he had been frantically scratching the pen with shaking hands. Regulus' handwriting was usually immaculate — the only handwriting he could think of that was better would be Hel's, but she wrote with quills form Asgard and wrote in calligraphy, he'd never seen her write normally — but the writing had been scrawled, and the paper had been crumpled slightly on one side as if Regulus had clutched it in his hand tightly as he debated whether or not he should send the letter. Ellio had been heartbroken to read the scared, no, terrified words of Regulus, and he had always tried to console him about it.

Ellio never wanted the Dark Mark for himself though, no, absolutely not, never. He'd never join the ranks of the Death Eaters, he would never bow down to someone. Heck, he wouldn't even bow down to Hel, who was a literal princess and a future queen.

Ellio just turned a little more into the conversation as he kept on running his fingers over Regulus' tattoo. He noticed Hel seemed to have a thinking face one, and wondered what had happened while she was away, he thought nothing of it though.

𝒜𝓃𝒹𝓇ℯ𝓌'𝓈 𝒫ℴ𝒾𝓃𝓉 ℴ𝒻 𝒱𝒾ℯ𝓌:

Andrew hummed some random tune under their breath as they took out a pretty pink muggle pen Lily had gotten them for their birthday the year before and started doodling mindless drawings in a yellow notebook that James had gotten them for Christmas one year. They got off the train and took a quick look around in search of their friends, and their newly-won boyfriend. Andrew's stomach got fuzzy at just the thought of him. They had gotten together at the very end of their fifth year, his sixth year, and when they said end, they meant three days before summer break they asked him out end. They had always had a crush on his friend's friend and was glad they worked up the guts to ask them out, even if it was on the third to last day of school.

Andrew tried to spot their boyfriend, or at least their friends. Andrew figured out quickly that they wouldn't be able to see any of them through the crowds (even if James did brag about being six foot three inches and Remus being only an inch taller than him. James was probably only six feet tall and Remus had terrible posture, so Andrew couldn't see either of them). Instead, he decided to follow the shouts of, "STOP THAT, PADS!", "YOU'RE SCARING THE FIRST-YEARS, RED!", "MOONEY FIX YOUR POSTURE!", "LILY! MAKE SIRIUS SHUT UP!", "WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO YOU?", "BECAUSE I'M HANDSOME!", "WHY AREN'T ALL OF YOU QUIET LIKE PETER?!", "BECAUSE THAT'S NOT US MOONSHINE!", "I'VE TOLD YOU MOONSHINE IS ALCOHOL!", "SO?", "ALL OF YOU ARE INSUFFERABLE!". Andrew found them quick enough afterwards, seemingly made up, though, Andrew could see Marlene, Mary, Frank, and Alice off to the side snickering at the crew (he was sure he heard one of them yell at the Marauders though).

Andrew however, ignored all of them and went straight to their boyfriend and hugged him tightly, they felt him hug them back and he practically melted into he hug, then pulled away. After seeing their boyfriend's face after a few long weeks though, he started to get butterflies in their stomach as if they were seeing him for the first time all over again.

"A be miss oop gah," Andrew stuttered out, all of their vocabulary and their ability to form words thrown out the window as they looked at their boyfriend's adorable face. Out of the corner of their eye, they could see James with his hand over his mouth and his arm wrapped around his chest like a mother concerned with what her child is doing and with Lily just sighed in exasperation with a smile on her face. Andrew noted that Scarlett had an arm wrapped protectively around her though, and was glaring and baring her teeth at anyone who gave her — or Remus — dirty looks.

After Peter stayed silent with a nervous smile on his face and another garbled up sentence from Andrew, James finally intervened.

"Okay, what Andrew is trying to say through his gremlin sentence is: I missed you so much over break! I love you!!" James said and Andrew nodded since that was basically what they were trying to say.

"And what Peter is trying to say," James said, wheeling around to see Peter "is: I missed you too Andrew! The only things I could sketch over break were you and your fluffy cat!"

Peter nervously smiled and Andrew took that as, "that is what I was trying to say." Andrew smiled before James got a bright smile on his face. Andrew learned that a bright smile on any of the Marauders' faces was usually a bad thing, but sometimes it was good! He hoped this time was one of the good ones!

"Sweet, c'mon Pads, race ya!!" James yelled, Sirius, grinning as the two sped off. Remus looked exasperated as he jogged after them, Scarlett took James' challenge and raced after the other two after sending a look over to Remus. Lily and Peter both stayed by Andrew's side though, and the three chatted about just random things.

Andrew felt Peter gently take a hold of their hand, and Andrew blushed a deep scarlet as they held Peter's hand. Andrew saw Lily try to ignore the two, but they could also see her holding back giggles.

Andrew just tried to take deep breaths (hopefully not sounding like they were hyperventilating ... yeah they probably sounded like they were hyperventilating) to calm themself down as they laced their fingers through Peter's. The mere action made the butterflies in his stomach crank up their party by ten notches.

They snuck a kiss to Peter's cheek and then quickly looked away, their blush deepening so that he resembled the Gryffindor crest. Andrew looked to Lily and saw she was holding her mouth in an effort to not giggle. Andrew wouldn't mind too much if she did though, they knew full and well that they and Peter had to be one of the most awkward couples in the school.

They arrived at the carriages and Peter, Lily, Frank, Alice, Marlene and Andrew all got in one. Andrew managed to get in between Peter and lily and kept holding Peter's hand. They didn't really know when they were supposed to let go, Peter would let go when he was uncomfortable, right? Hopefully. They just talked to everyone in the cart about random things, school, which teacher gives too much homework, which teacher will make them have a pop quiz the first day back, what's the best way to bake cookies, etc. etc.

Andrew just smiled and felt Peter gently let go of their hand, and Andrew just kept it by their side as they started rambling on about how many chocolate chips to put in a chocolate chip cookie. Their eyes flashed over to Peter, and they smiled dorkishly and blushed when they saw Peter looking at them with his cute, soft, sweet smile. Oh look, the butterflies in their stomach learned what butterfly alcohol was.

Nicholas crunched on a carrot on his fork, trying to stay as quiet as possible even though the carrot was perfectly crisp. He didn't want to attract attention by loudly crunching on carrots like there was no tomorrow, not that anyone would bother paying attention to him. He was sitting at the end of the table, away from everyone else. Call him antisocial, and you would be absolutely and utterly correct.

Nicholas just pulled out a small book from the pocket of his Ravenclaw robes and began reading. He couldn't wait before he got to get away from everyone and go back to his very quiet dorm. He was lucky that he dormed with only one other sixth-year boy, and the other boy was also very quiet. There had been an uneven number in the Ravenclaw sixth-years, which left Nicholas and the other boy alone in a room together, and Nicholas was a-okay with the calmness of everything.

The Great Hall he was in at the moment though? Utter chaos, but, then again, all of the Marauders were together in the same room, and that was just asking for trouble all in itself. He caught Lily looking at him and he smiled and waved, Lily, smiled and waved back before going back to talking to her girlfriend.

Nicholas sighed to himself after going back to his meal again, finishing what was on his plate quickly. When you grew up in (well, not so much grew up, but spent your teenhood in) a poor household, you learned that you should cherish what was given to you, especially things like food, so Nicholas always made sure to finish his plate, no matter how childish it may sound. Nicholas fidgeted around with the cross on his chain while reading his book, the chain with the cross on it was the last thing he had from his mother, who died after she got hit by a truck. That was the day after he got his Hogwarts letter and after a huge party. After that, his father became the town drunk and lost his job, causing the family to get very poor, it didn't help that Nicholas had nine siblings.

Did he forget to mention that? Well, he had nine siblings, younger and older than him.

As Nicholas was finishing his chapter, he saw someone come up and tap his book a few times, probably to get his attention. However, he jumped a little and got just a tad worried since it was a hardcover book.

"Don't touch my book!" Nicholas said to no one in particular as he was finishing his chapter, "It's a hardcover and I'll have you know they're very expensive," he said before finishing the sentence and memorizing the page. He put his book down and looked up, across from him was one grinning Violet Bellerose with her signature blue headphones around her neck that matched her bright blue hair.

"What's up?" Violet asked grinning, "And I'm very sorry about your book," she added sincerely, her smile still staying as bright as her hair though.

Nicholas smiled back, "Nothing much, and it's alright," he said, then Violet leaned in close and gestured for him to do the same. Nicholas scrunched his eyebrows together as he leaned in, he trusted Violet. She was one of the very few people who befriended him, but he noticed she seemed to befriend outcasts like himself, so he really shouldn't have been that surprised when she first came up to him.

"Is your zipper down?" Violet whispered in Nicholas' ear, and Nicholas blushed. He seemed to always have his fly open, no matter how many times he pulled it up. His fly was always open. Every. Single. Time.

Nicholas checked and lo and behold, his fly was down. Nicholas blushed even further as he pulled the zipper up. Violet must've seen how red he got since he heard her trying to hold back a giggle and when he popped his head back up he saw that she had her hand over her mouth. Nicholas just sheepishly smiled before placing an elbow on the table and putting his cheek on his knuckles.

"So, why are you over here?" He asked, his smile returning. He knew Violet didn't really mean to embarrass him, she just knew that his fly was always down.

"Well, because you look lonely," Violet said then popped her headphones off and handed them to Nicholas. "Put these on," she said and Nicholas followed the instructions. As he stated before, he trusted Violet.

Violet grinned as she pulled her walkman out of her robes and turned it on, and Nicholas jumped a little at the sound since it was much louder than he had expected. He smiled and moved his head to the beat though since it was a good song, he recognized it as one Lily had introduced to him too.

"Hey, Lily showed me this song before," Nicholas said smiling before he gently took the headphones off and handed it to Violet. Violet smiled as she placed her headphones around her neck and then looked up to the podium where Dumbledore was. Nicholas followed her gaze and sighed, he hoped there nothing too crazy would happen this year.

"That one," she thought as she floated to the table filled with the students in blue and bronze.

"Maybe this one," the other thought before floating to the table to yellow and black.
