Seonghwa groans as he rolls over in his bed, holding his head. He was slightly hung over, and his breath smelt and tasted like the after taste of those brownies. He makes a face, opening his eyes into the blinding sun to see it shining right in his eyes. He hisses, rolling over away from it to come face to face with the bedside clock. He was late for school. Great. Oh well, maybe he'll just sleep in for the day-
He hears voices downstairs and sighs, reality hitting him hard this morning. And memories from last night....
He touched his bottom lip, his memory of kissing Mingi last night. It tingles slightly as he remembers the cushion of the younger's bottom lip devouring his own. Sadly, the stranger who almost took advantage of him took his very first kiss..... god he had wished it was Mingi instead that had him pressed against the house trying to rip his clothes off of him.
He shakes his head at the dirty thoughts, sitting up slowly and the pounding in his head grew worse. Luckily for him, his uncle must have realized it was a long night and left a bottle of aspirin and a water bottle on his bedside table next to his lamp and clock. He grabs the bottle of medicine and pours the correct amount in his hands before downing them down with the cold water.
He stands slowly and stretches, walking to his connected bathroom and washing up before he decides to make his presence known to the company downstairs. When he steps into the kitchen, he sees his uncle plating pancakes and bacon on a plate for his mother and Vicky. Seonghwa glares at her, "What are you doing here?"
"I called her," his uncle responds, "I have a meeting that I need to leave for, and her number was on the fridge," he looks up at the boy with arched eyebrows, "she is her regular nurse right?"
"Yes," Seonghwa sighs in defeat, "I have yet to call and cancel her visits here."
"Seonghwa, I'm sorry," Vicky smiles, placing her hand on top of his mother's as she smiles at him.
Seonghwa rolls his eyes, sitting across from her as his uncle pats his shoulder, "I'll see you later kid."
"Thank you," Seonghwa smiles to him, "for watching her."
"Anytime," he calls, leaving the house and slamming the door shut when he does so.
As soon as he's gone, Vicky clears her throat and Seonghwa looks up at her through his lashes, "I see you went out. Left your mother in the care of someone else."
"Well I didn't want to call and take time away from you and your family," Seonghwa bites back, "At least that's what you implied when I asked for you to watch her."
"And yet you still came home drunk and smelling like you took a bath on a bushel of weed," Vicky snaps, "Not very responsible for someone taking care of a woman with Alzheimer's. Maybe I should report this to my office and have her sent to a nursing home?"
Seonghwa slams his hands on the table and stands quickly, "Get out of our home!"
Vicky smirks, standing and slinging her purse over her shoulder as she leaves the house. Seonghwa sighs, running his hands through his blonde locks.
"She was a bitch anyway," his mother said softly as she took a bite of bacon.
Seonghwa laughs waterly, wiping his eyes and taking her hand in his, "I'll find someone better. Nothing but the best for you mom."

Mingi woken up with a start to his door bursting open and his dad shouting. He didn't even know what was being said, until he was yanked out of bed and thrown in the bathroom tiled floor. Mingi catches himself, crawling away from his father as he raged, "Where's my fucking tequila!?"
"What?!" Mingi shouts back standing, looking to the sink and seeing the empty opened bottle of José Cuervo and dried blood on the counter from last night still prominent. A single rose petal from Seonghwa's flower crown laid on the counter abandoned. He curses, he was in so much trouble.
"My fucking tequila!!" His dad roars, "I had a full bottle on the sink and I see this!! Did you drink it?!"
"No," Mingi admits, but the answer wasn't good enough and his dad lunges for him.

Mingi locked himself in his room, wincing as his aching body pulls itself onto his bed. He groans in pain as he cradled his hand close to his chest and ribs, he hopes ones not broken. Yet again, he thinks differently of his hand.
He could barely move it without wanting to scream. It was throbbing and already starting to swell. Yep, pretty sure it's broken. He had taken a swing and landed a hard punch on his dad's jaw, and when he fell Mingi made a beeline for his room. His safety net. The only place he can escape to and not get harmed anymore.
He needed to get out.
He slowly grabbed bags and packed them, sending San a text and not responding to the others as he slings them over his shoulder. Like he had done so many many times, he sneaks out of his window with a painful grunt, and hurried to his car.
He thought about the blood and the empty bottle of tequila, the cause behind it and he frowns. The last thing he ever wants to do is have Seonghwa get hurt. His father hurting him is one thing, but for his father to hurt Seonghwa? No, Mingi would never allow that to happen. He needed to do something to protect the older, so what does he decide to do?
He decided to leave Park Seonghwa alone, even if the thought of doing so tears him up inside and hurts him even more. He hopes this will tear his father's attention away from the guest Mingi brought over last night, and keep it away.
