Chapter Sixteen: The "Date-y Date"

"Special delivery for Mr. Jung Hoseok!"

Hoseok popped his head out of the back and raised an eyebrow when he heard Taehyung's voice ring through the coffee.
Because Taehyung is a generally loud person and decided it would be a great idea to yell that throughout the whole store, he gathered some attention from customers as he walked up to the counter with a bouquet of flowers.

He sighed as a fond smile grew onto his face.

Yoongi.

"Hey Tae." He beamed as the orange haired boy walked up to the counter, then handing the bouquet to Hoseok. The flowers were white orchids, as Hoseok had once mentioned to Yoongi that they were one of his favourites.

Taehyung smiled.

"Hey. Any guesses who these might be from?" He asked, a grin on his face.

Hoseok laughed.

"Hmm... Let's see... I can't seem to think of anyone.." He joked, the picking up the little tag that was attached to the flowers and reading it.

"Hey there coffee boy,
You, me, 6:00.
Wear something fancy.
Sincerely,
Your flower boy."

Hoseok couldn't keep the stupid grin that grew on his face as he read the little message written in his boyfriend's fairly messy handwriting. He sighed and hugged the bouquet close to his chest, Taehyung watching him with an equally big smile on his face.

"Tae!" Jungkook's voice rang through the store as he popped his head out of the back upon hearing his boyfriend's voice.

"Hey Kookie." Taehyung laughed, leaning over the counter to give Jungkook a hug after he walked over.

"What're you doing here?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as they both pulled away from each other's embrace. Taehyung nodded his head in the direction of Hoseok, and the flowers in his arms. Jungkook's expression turned into a knowing one and he nodded. "Now," He grinned, "Let me get you something on the house to take back, Yoongi-Hyung and Yuri-Noona as well."

Taehyung shook his head.

"It's fine, I'm pretty sure Seokjin-Hyung wouldn't be very happy with you giving out free drinks."

"I'll pay for it." Hoseok piped up, reaching into his back pocket to make sure that he money was, in fact, there. "Tell Yoongi I say thank you for the flowers okay?"

Taehyung smiled.

"Will do, and thank you."

Hoseok shook his head.

"It's no problem." He smiled, then nudging Jungkook, indicating him to go get the drinks. The younger smiled and raced off to go get them, then returning a few minutes later, balancing three drinks on his arms.

Three cream, three sugar for Yoongi, Caramel macchiato for Yuri, and an iced coffee for Taehyung.

Having gotten drinks for them so often, their orders had basically been fried into his brain at this point.

"Thank you Kookie." Taehyung grinned, taking the drinks out of his hands and giving Jungkook a small peck on the cheek. "Well I have to get back to work, I'm not technically on my break but Yuri allowed me to bring these to you." He said, gesturing to the bouquet.
Hoseok nodded, smelling the flowers. "Have fun on your date!"

Taehyung waved goodbye and walked out the front door, the bell chiming as he did so.

"Woah there, who are those from?"

Seokjin's voice was heard as he walked out from the back, eyeing the flowers in his coworkers arms and raising an eyebrow.

"His boyfriend is a florist Hyung, who do you think they're from?" Jungkook laughed, attempting to draw a decent design in foam on top of someone's latte.

Seokjin smiled and ruffled Hoseok's hair, making the brunette scrunch up his nose.

"Oh..." He grinned, "So I'm guessing that you have plans tonight?" He asked, Hoseok nodded in response.

"I sure do."

-----------------------

"What the hell am I going to wear?"

This situation was definitely a case of déjà vu for Jungkook, him sat on the bed while Hoseok paced, trying to figure out his outfit choice.

"Okay, is this an actual date? Or is it going to be like last time when you said it wasn't a date, but it totally was?" Jungkook asked, smirking as he flopped back onto the bed.

"It's an actual date-y date. Like, he told me to wear something fancy. I don't have anything fancy!" Hoseok exclaimed, standing in front of his closet.

"Like hell you don't!" Jungkook hopped off of the bed and pushed Hoseok aside. "Okay, so what we're looking for is something fancy, but not too over the top." Hoseok raised an eyebrow.

"Since when did you become a fashion expert?" He asked, smirking.

Jungkook shrugged.

"I'm gay, people say that we're good at these kind of things."

"I'm gay too though." Hoseok laughed, watching as Jungkook began to laugh as well.

"Yeah, but you were just born with not much fashion sense so you don't count." He answered. The younger pulled out the black pair of jeans that Yoongi had forced onto him the other day ago, a dress shirt, and a black blazer to go over top of it.

Hoseok's eyes widened.

"Since when did I own all that?" He asked, looking over the items that Jungkook had dropped into his arms.

"Since forever to be honest. Where are your ties?" Jungkook asked, looking over at the older.

"I own ties?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Fine, I'll let you borrow one of mine." He then disappeared out of the room, going to find one.

"You own ties?"

Hoseok burst out laughing once he heard the loud sigh Jungkook let out from in his room.

------------------

"Oh, how did I get so lucky?"

Yoongi sighed as soon as his boyfriend was revealed when the door opened. Hoseok blushed and smiled.

"I could say the same thing." He took Yoongi's hand in his and waved goodbye to Jungkook.

"Have fun kids! Don't keep him out too late Yoongi-Hyung!" Jungkook shouted, making the couple laugh.

"Alright Jungkook, I won't." Yoongi grinned before waving goodbye as well and closing the door.

Walking to Yoongi's car hand in hand, Hoseok couldn't help but be curious about what the older had planned for tonight.

"Is this another one of your surprises, or can I actually ask where we're going this time?" He asked, buckling up his seatbelt.

"It's a surprise. Something I've pulled out of my bag of tricks." Yoongi grinned and began to drive out of the parking lot.

The drive was short. Hoseok made a comment about how the drive was almost as short as Yoongi was, which earned him a smack on the arm. He was now being forced to close his eyes as Yoongi held onto his hand and guided him, making sure he didn't trip over his own feet.

The sound of a door creaked and Hoseok felt the temperature change from cold, the warm as he stepped inside the room.

"Okay, you can open your eyes now." Hoseok could hear the smile in Yoongi's voice and he opened his eyes, eyes adjusting to the brightness before he took into his surroundings. They were in a restaurant, no doubt. And the only words Hoseok could probably use to describe the place were fancy as hell.

"Oh my god Yoongi..." Hoseok breathed, not letting go of his boyfriend's hand as they walked up to the front. Yoongi grinned.

"Reservation for Min Yoongi?" Yoongi asked, the staff then nodding and smiling.

"A table for two, correct?" She asked, then leading them into the dining room when he nodded.

Hoseok was still taking in the place as the sat down across from Yoongi, an almost dreamy look in his eyes.

"So what do you think?" Yoongi asked, mouth hidden by the menu, but smile evident in his eyes.

"This is amazing! I don't think I've get felt this fancy in my entire life." He grinned, picking up the menu and looking through it. Yoongi grinned.

"I'm glad." He beamed, "I though, since this is technically our first date as a couple, that I'd make it special."

Hoseok's eyes widened.

"This is technically our first date isn't it?" He asked, his eyes sparkling.

Yoongi nodded, then smiling as the waitress brought them over a complementary bottle of soju.

"It is. We didn't consider that other little get together a date because we were both in denial." Yoongi laughed.

"Yes! You should've seen how nervous I was before, it was kind of embarrassing." Hoseok laughed, pouring some of the drink into his glass.

"Don't get yourself too drunk now." Yoongi joked, pouring some for himself.

Hoseok laughed.

"I won't! If anything, it'll be you considering that Taehyung has told me that you're a total lightweight." The younger grinned, causing Yoongi to roll his eyes.

"Not really..."

-------------------------

"Did you know... That when I first saw you, I nearly fainted because you were hot as hell?"

Hoseok laughed as Yoongi clung onto his arm, drunkenly stumbling to his car. Hoseok didn't even end up drinking half of a glass, whereas Yoongi drank two and was now like this.

"Am I still hot now?" Hoseok smirked, opening the passenger side door for Yoongi.

Yoongi nodded.

"You're fucking sizzling like look at this." Yoongi pressed his hand against Hoseok's cheek, then basically screeching as if he got burned.

"Alright alright.." Hoseok laughed, practically pushing his boyfriend into the car, then getting in the other side. Yoongi felt pretty dizzy, but at the same time felt on top of the world.

"I could probably dunk you in my coffee and then I wouldn't need any sugar." He slurred, leaning back in his seat as Hoseok drove him home.

"Why? Because I'm so sweet?"

"Yes!" Yoongi exclaimed, giggling. "Glad I married a smart one."

Hoseok laughed.

"Yoongi, we're not married." He giggled.

Yoongi pouted.

"Oh okay."

The ride home was most definitely not a quiet one, because Hoseok has learned that Yoongi is really talkative when he's drunk. Currently holding the older man up as he unlocked his apartment door (after having to fish his keys out of Yoongi's pocket, his boyfriend then giggling and shouting to the whole parking lot that 'Hoseok-ah just touched my butt!') Yoongi was still talking.

"Okay Yoongi." Hoseok laughed, guiding the older to his bedroom once he unlocked the door. Not even bothering to take his shoes off, Yoongi flopped into his bed. "You gonna go to sleep?"

Yoongi shook his head, then sliding over and patting the spot beside him.

"I sleep on one condition."

"Yoongi-"

"One condition."

Hoseok sighed and slid off his shoes, then helping Yoongi out of his before lying down in the bed next to him. Yoongi sighed and wrapped his arms around Hoseok, snuggling his head into his boyfriend's chest. "You're a good husband." He mumbled, making Hoseok snort with laughter.

"Yoongi, we're not married."

"Oh yeah."
