Darkness crawled into the room despite the moon lamp's effort to combat it. She sat there at the corner of her bed, embracing all the memories this room had witnessed. The chilly midnight breeze sailed through the window, slowly turning the room a few degrees colder. She didn't mind that. Her eyes, uncaring and austere, glanced at the lamp that slowly ran out of life to give. She didn't mind that. She stared outside, her gaze fixated upon the moonless sky. The night was dark and empty. She didn't mind that.
