The week went by really fast much to my dismay. Tobi already knew about my weekend plans and he kept telling me how fun it'll be at his father's house. He said he'd take me out and blah blah. That was the good part. Bad part was that his father will be there. Don't get me wrong, I won't want to stay with Tobi alone for the weekend but it'll be better than staying in the same house with a man I've never seen.

By the way, Mofe came to my school like he said but Tobi was absent from school for whatever reason and they didn't meet. I don't even know why I want Tobi to meet Mofe.

It's Friday already and I'm back from school to gather up my luggage, my parents and mama are leaving for the airport in an hour's time so my dad will be dropping me off at Tobi's 'father's' house before leaving.

I'm starting to think that they didn't want to waste money on paying for my airfare or maybe they didn't just want me to miss school since they were coming back on Monday and I won't make it to school if I followed them.

I carried my small bag to the car. It was time for my dad to drop me off. It took us less than forty five minutes to get to Tobi's house. He lived just five streets away. Actually, his father lived five streets away not him.

When we got to Tobi's house, his father was not back from work yet but he knew I was coming over so my dad left. The maids, well I forgot to say, there were so many maids like seven or so. One of them offered to carry my bag but I declined, the maid kept pestering me until Tobi told them to leave and we went inside the house.

The inside of his house was way better than the outside. It was fully furnished, it had a really big flat screen television, beautiful chandeliers, wallpapers on the wall, they also had very long curtains, and this nice rug that caught my eye. The person that furnished this house did a very good job. I guess this weekend won't be so bad.

"Well, I know my house is better than this but just manage this" He said, looking round the house in a mocking way.

"It's a beautiful place actually" I replied truthfully. The place was actually beautiful. I even think it's better than Tobi's house. Don't tell him I said so.

"If you say so, let's go up to your room" He smirked and took my hand in his and we went upstairs. We entered a room at the farthest corner of the house. The room was painted in white with beautiful furniture. It had rose flowers on the black and white cupboard in the room. The ceiling was painted to look like the sky. Everything looked perfect in white.

"Looks like you love your room already, let me leave you to unpack" He said and squeezed my hand a little before smiling and leaving.

I dropped my bag on the bed and I laid down. The bed was so soft, God, I didn't think coming here would be like this. I expected a very untidy and upside down house because it was a man living here but well the maids do all of the work.

I got up from bed I and started walking in the direction of the bathroom, I think. I pulled open the door, it was the bathroom like I expected. I removed my shoes and I went downstairs.

Tobi was watching a movie when I got downstairs, he noticed me and patted the space next to him indicating that I should sit next to him. The next three hours were spent watching movies and music videos.

His father met us watching TV, he looked really exhausted when he walked in. He just introduced himself to me and said if I wanted anything, Tobi would get it for me and he went up.

At least, he didn't look like a ritualist.

It was thirty minutes to dinner so I decided to have my bath before dinner. I went back upstairs to my room, undressed and got in.

Turning of the warm shower, I stepped out with my towel clinging tightly to my body. I closed the bathroom door only to find Tobi sitting comfortably on my bed.

Maybe they're rapists after all

"You sound like a dying whale in the shower" He laughed. Yeah, I realised I sang loudly in there but you didn't have to say it. At least not that way.

"Tobi what are you doing here sef in fact go out I need to dress up and for your information I don't sound like a dying whale am I even sure you've seen a dying whale before" I said while folding my arms.

"Can't I see my favorite girl again?"

"Favorite girl kwa please leave my room let me dress up" I said and started pushing him out of the room.

"Okay okay see you in a few" He said and winked

"Don't get ahead of yourself" I said and locked the door before slipping in my strawberry print night gown and my bunny slippers. I walked downstairs and found Tobi on the dinning with the table already set.

"Wow the food is so much" I said and settled in one of the seats. "Isn't your dad going to join in?" I asked and started dishing our food.

"Nope this is all for us so dig in" He replied and took a spoonful of rice. 

Boys can eat eh

"So tell me why exactly did you change school I mean you left Ajah for Ikeja" I asked before taking one plantain from my plate.

He looked at me for a second before saying "Table manners Chioma table manners"

"Table manners indeed abeg tell me why you changed school and stop telling me table manners as if you're observing them" I replied.

"Okay so I came here to spend time with my...cousin yeah my cousin and my dad that's why I'm here and you know my mum isn't around too"

"The cousin you wanted me to meet the other time right?" I asked.

"Yeah he's coming tomorrow so you could meet him, he can be annoying sometimes but don't worry I'm sure you can handle him" He answered.

"Yeah right like you're not annoying yourself" I hissed.

"....but you like me like that"

"In your dreams" he laughed and we continued eating.

After dinner, the maids cleared up our plates and Tobi said we could watch another movie but I declined. I was a bit tired, I needed rest and also I want to call my mum, I saw a missed call from her.

"Let's go to my room then" he suggested.

"To do what?" I asked. "I'm tired"

"We could play games, watch movies, or even better we could cuddle up together and sleep" He said, winking at me when he said the last part.

"I'll pass" I said dryly and I walked towards my room, well not until he pulled me back.

"Seriously, it'll be fun" Without waiting for my response he dragged me to his room. I thought of shouting so his father would come out but he looked tired and he'll probably think I'm crazy.

"Tobi, leave me nah, is it by force?" I whispered.

"Ssh"

Rapist!

He pulled his room door open and shut it immediately he managed to get me inside. His room was almost like mine just that there were no roses on his cupboard and there were clothes all over the place. And yeah he had 3D wallpapers all over his room.

"God, Tobi, look at your room. Girls in school will now be falling for you not knowing you're a pig on the inside" I said scanning the room once again. His room was not that bad.

"I know that girls fall for me, including you"

"Puh-lease" I snapped my fingers in the air dramatically. "do I look like all those dawn-like girls"

"Someone's jealous" he smirked.

"First of all, I'm not jealous or anything. I wouldn't want to have a pig as a boyfriend. Secondly, I pity you it's when Dawn turns you to a complete dunce, you'll know" I retorted.

"Dawn has her own sef"

"Oh! So you know and you people will be deceiving her, boys sha" I shook my head. I was now seated on his bed fiddling with his duvet.

"Forget about Dawn, what should we do now?"

"After dragging me here, you're asking what we should do?" I replied with a question, I was already at the door. Ready to leave, I hadn't even returned my mom's call.

"Oya, come. Let's watch Final destination. I've watched all the different parts numerous times but I bet you haven't, so sit!

"What's it about?" I asked out of curiosity. I don't want to watch a movie like Spiderman and all those.

"Oh, it's a horror movie, pretty scary/bloody but it's okay" he replied.

"Okay"

It took him time to ransack his box for the CD, after a few minutes he found it and he put it in his disk player. He called one of the maids to get us snacks and we settled down for the movie.

After a few minutes into the movie I didn't want to watch it anymore.

"Tobi nah I'm tired of this movie see just see the way people are dying please let's watch heartbeats that movie that I saw when you were looking for this movie"

"Which movie?"

"That one nah, in fact wait lemme go and bring it out" I stood up and went to his box to bring out the CD.

"Wait how did this one get here sef" he said while looking at the movie. "I'm sure Tessy put it there what is my own with romance movies?" He asked.

I should be asking you.

"Okay let's watch it don't worry you'll love it, I've seen the trailer, take put it inside the disc player and come and sit down."

"All these rubbish romance movies" he mumbled while settling in beside me.

"Don't worry, you'd love it" I said patting his shoulder.

"Yeah right" he rolled his eyes and I laughed. Soon enough, he slept off. I watched the movie alone. At least there was no one to complain about every single scene. When the movie ended, I decided not to wake Tobi up. I got up, my eyes were already closing, so I walked lazily to the door.

I opened the door quietly and walked out, it was already very late and I didn't want to make any noise. I walked down to the farthest corner of the passage and I opened my room door quietly but someone pulled me back.

He followed me!!!

"Why did you leave?" Tobi asked, barely opening his eyes.

"The movie has ended, so.. I left" I told him, matter of fact-ly.

"I wanted you to stay" he whined.

"When I have a room, thanks but no" I said and made an attempt to move away from him but he held me back.

"Pleasee" he begged.

"No! "

"Please"

"I said no for goodness sake, you've been sleeping alone so why don't you just continue like that?" I asked, now fully awake.

"....please"

"No, your dad might wake up" I said.

"So?"

"So keep your voice down and go to your room" I whispered.

"You know what?" he asked. A bit awake now.

"What?"

"Just get to sleep..."

"Like I wasn't about to do tha-" I hissed as he carried me up, over his shoulder, I couldn't scream so I just kept hitting him on his back.

"..with me" he finished.

What exactly is wrong with this boy?

Guess mommy's call has to wait till tomorrow.

Wait.. Did I just say that? Oh no!

Before we got to his room, I managed to get myself out of his grip. I ran for my life, he followed me though but he couldn't run as fast as I could cause he was half asleep. As I got to my room, I locked the door immediately and smiled to myself. I jumped on the soft mattress and covered myself up. Dreamland is calling.

Oh well, the call still had to wait.

Yeah, Tobi too but he has already gone out of control. 😢
