Chapter 22

Author could be wrong but author believes that Gen Y the series was the phase in Bas' career where he was happiest with his BL love partner Dun Romchumpa above.

The video above does not belong to me. It belongs to the person who uploaded it on YouTube.

This is a continuation of Chapter 15

 Bas's POV

Seeing Perth and Chimon acting so lovey dovey made me miss Phi Maxky so much but I had to stay strong. I had to tell myself that things will be okay and that I will be seeing him again if not soon, at least when the storm was over. I hoped that he was somewhere safe. I couldn't get through to him on my phone, perhaps because of absence of signal due to the severe weather.

I gathered my change of clothes and a towel from the closet and left the room to take my morning shower before going to the dining hall for breakfast.

By the time I finished my shower my stomach was grumbling, asking to be fed.

I did not bother to go back to my room. I went straight away to the dining hall.

Already it was  half filled with the people who were able to seek shelter here at the temple of the Supplication to the Divine.

I was tipping the tea kettle into my cup when I heard a familiar voice.

"Bas?"

I turned around and almost dropped my cup.

I carefully set down my cup of tea which was half filled with piping hot green tea, thankful that I had not spilled it on myself.

I rushed over to the person who had called my name.

"Phi Dun!" I hugged him so tight that I probably managed to cut off the air from his lungs.

"I told you not to call me Phi." he rebuked me. "We are only a year apart."

"Okay then, Dun," I tried to comply with his wish.

"Sweetheart would sound better," he said with a smile.

I couldn't tell if he was being serious or was only joking, or half of both. We had been in a relationship for a year before he had to go to the UK to study. We had tried to keep in touch but I guess long distance relationship was not for either of us because we eventually lost touch. It has now been over three years since we last saw each other.

When I let go of him, he pulled me back in his arms.

"Let me hold you a little while longer," he whispered in my ear. "I missed you so much, you know."

"Why did you stop communicating with me?" I asked.

"You're the one who stopped replying to my messages," he accused me.

"That's not true!" I exclaimed.

"It's all water under the bridge now," Dun said in a resigned voice. "The important thing is that we're back together again."

I kept quiet, suddenly thinking about P'Maxky.

"We're still together, right, Bas?" Dun interrupted my thoughts. "We never broke up. We were just kept apart because of my studies abroad."

"I need to tell you something, sweetheart," I started to say and then... oops, I realized that I had called him 'sweetheart' out of habit.

"What is it, my darling?" Dun asked, looking anxious, as if his instinct was telling him to expect some sad news.

I was about to speak again when suddenly I heard someone say from behind, "Bas?"

When I turned, he said, "Bas! Ohmygahd, yes, it's you! Oh thank heavens!"

He rushed over to me and pulled me out of Dun's embrace and hugged me tightly in his arms. I could feel his chest heaving against mine as he sobbed over and over again, "My baby Bas, love of my life. I thought I would never see you again."
