Title's POV

Most probably it was because I was mentally and physically exhausted that I had fallen into a deep sleep in a strange bed with someone I had never met before. The stranger must have been as exhausted as I was, physically and emotionally, because he fell fast asleep beside me as well.

I was the first to wake up and quietly left the room to go to the bathrooms at the end of the hallway.

When I got back to the room, my bed mate was just starting to wake up. He was slowly trying to rub the sleep from his eyes.

Then he noticed that I had just walked into the room all changed and newly showered.

He twitched his nose in the air.

"You smell good," he said, staring at me, his eyes and smile showing appreciation at what he was seeing. "What is the scent of the shampoo that you used?"

"Frangipani," I replied.

"I should use that too when I shower," he said, getting up from the bed.

"By the way, I'm Mixx," he said, extending his hand to me.

I took it and we shook hands briefly.

For those who might not know him, his name is Mixx Sahaphap Wongratch. He has starred in several BL dramas notably "A Tale of a Thousand Stars" with Earth Pirapat Watthanasetiri as his love partner.

"Where are the others?" I asked.

"They must have gone off to shower already," Mixx replied.

"Are the other occupants of this room your friends?" I asked.

"No," he replied. "I met them for the first time yesterday afternoon. We got acquainted with each other but I can't remember their names now," he added with an apologetic smile.

"I'm off to the dining hall then," I said, "Just follow me there after your shower."

"I will," he said as he walked over to the closet.

I proceeded to the dining hall where there were already several residents who were early risers just like me.

It was a buffet style dining area where one can pick up a plate from a stack at the end of a long table and choose from whatever food had been set on the table.

I have always only had a light breakfast for as long as I could remember. Today was no different from the others.

I picked up a piece of toast from a large platter, applied some marmalade on it and picked up a cup and filled it with hot tea from an electric kettle that was sitting on another table by the corner of the dining hall.

Then I walked over to the end of a long table that had a long wooden bench on either side of the table that could be shared by all occupants.

I set my breakfast plate and tea cup on the table before sitting at the edge of the bench.

I was busy ripping open two small packets of stevia and dropping the contents into my cup of tea when my heart jumped to my throat.

Cooheart and someone else was walking side by side past me. Cooheart was busy talking to his companion and did not notice me, maybe because my face was bent down while stirring my tea.

I debated whether to call him to get his attention or to leave him alone, seeing as his companion seemed to be his significant other.

I wondered if I would be causing trouble for him if I were to get his attention.

I threw all care to the wind, which literally was blowing hard outside the temple.

"Cooheart!" I called out, hoping it was loud enough for him to hear because by this time he was already some distance away from me.

"Cooheart!" I called again.
