Grade 7 had gone by in a flash. I worked my hardest at my subjects, getting good marks on tests and doing well in assignments. There wasn't anything in my mind to distract me from my work, Konnie and Ali were my best friends, we didn't have any major fights, just disagreements. I didn't have a crush for my mind to wonder to, and same with Ali. Konnie did, though. She was (and still is) head over heels for Ali's twin brother, Logan.

No one had any run-ins with mean people, and everyone was generally nice to the grade. Of course, there were the annoying boys of the grade, Jack and Carter, but no one paid any attention to them.

It was normal for them to be annoying, so no one ever let them get to them.

This went on the entire year, and soon enough summer came.

The problem was, everyone has insecurities, right? Well, I'm no exception. I hide behind a mask, to be someone who is confident and calm, but in reality, I'm just a girl, waiting to break.

Now, about to go back to school for 8th grade, will everything be the same?
