Zoë POV

     Lily finally woke up from her 2 hour nap. It's about 5:30 now. Now she is angrily making dinner. I look at her while talking to Neji about Byakugan (which it took a lot of explaining on how I know about it, I said I found it in a book) and we were talking about everything it can do.

I walk up to Lily and snuck up behind her. She was ranting about having no more short board while killing a carrot.

"How do you think the carrot feels about that?" I say in a monotone voice.

"HOLY SHI...P," she screamed as she threw the carrot. That carrot hit good ol' pissed off Sasuke Uchiha, who seemed more pissed off than usual. Now.

"You need to get out off the house," I stated.

"I'm making dinner," she says, through clenched teeth.

"This carrot was dinner?" the monotone Uchiha stated, pulling the carrot out of his hair.

"I don't like carrots," I say, truthfully.

"We're having salad. The carrot was part of the salad. Now I have to get another one," she says, heading towards the fridge.

"I'm ordering pizza," I say.

"We have lettuce, tomatoes, and other things that go in a salad. We are having salad," she says, getting angrier.

"Well, I'm ordering pizza for me and whoever else wants it," I say, making her even more frustrated.

"Salad."

"Pizza."

"Salad!"

"Pizza!" This went on for a while.

"Alright, Lily, put the egg down. Zoë, enough with the pasta... box? How much damage were you planning on that making?" Kai butts in, trying to avoid a common food fight.

"Don't know, lets find out!" I say, ready to begin.

"NO. No, no, no. Lily, how about you show us the spot where the newcomers and mister 'I love bugs so much'  came through."

"Fine, I'll show you," Lily states hesitantly. "The rest of you, just kinda, don't blow anything up."

  ....

"So, this is where everyone came through? It seems fine now," I yell jumping in and out of the chalk circle.

"Yes, this is it," Lily says.

"It doesn't seem so weird," Kai says, staring at the spot skeptically.

"You're right, it doesn't," Lily says, stepping in it once more, before..."Oof!"

The Sand Sibling landed right on top of her, and I busted out laughing.

"Umm, are you okay?" Kai asks, worrying for our friend, who is squashed like a bug.

"Nice one Lily," I say sarcastically.

Suddenly, there's a loud voice calling, "GAARA!!" from the direction of the house, as a blonde bimbo burst out of the blue house.

Kai and I quickly scanned the area to make sure no neighbors were getting curious about the noise.

"I swear my back is going to break," Lily mutters from underneath  Gaara. No wonder, with that gourd on Gaara's back.

  Temari POV, In the Narutoverse

We were on our way to Konoha with Gaara because the Hokage requested some assistance with missing-nin. Gaara tagged along because Naruto was one of them. 

So, we were almost there when we came upon a clearing in the woods. Gaara and I walked around it, both of us sensing something wrong, while Kankuro went straight forwards. He started to fall... into... the ground, when Gaara pushed him out of the way and fell in instead, seeming very calm about it.

"GAARA!!!!!" we both scream. We both jumped in after him, hoping to save him, when suddenly we were on top of somebody.

...Back in present time...

Kankuro and I quickly jumped off of the person in battle formations. I grabbed my fan and he grabbed the Crow. Gaara was sitting on top of the person without a care in the world. We heard laughter.

"GAARA!!!" we heard a familiar voice yell. We turned towards the direction of the voice and saw Konoha's Number One Hyperactive Ninja himself, Naruto Uzumaki. Great. At least we found the missing-nin.

We heard quiet muttering from underneath Gaara. So that's who we landed on. Poor girl. She had shoulder length brown-reddish hair and was very skinny, and she had a sand village tan.

I looked around and saw two other girls. One had long, light brown hair, and a different tan, and the other one has shoulder length, dark brown hair, and looked like she wasn't from these parts. . One was laughing, while the other looked concerned.

We pulled Gaara off of the girl.

"Well, that really hurt..." she said, stretching.

"Where are we?" Gaara said in a calm voice.

"You are in Florida," the one with the darkest hair said, "I'm Kai, this is Lily," she pointed to the semi-squished one", and Zoë," she pointed to the one who just stopped laughing.

"Lily, we need to get your eyes checked because apparently you didn't see 3 people falling out of the sky," the one called Zoë said.

"Well, I did run into a pole, twice, in the same day," Lily responded.

"One more question," Kankuro said," What is Florida?"

"How should I put this, Florida is also known as the pan handle, most well-known for growing oranges, its a peninsula so there's beaches everywhere, and our winters get to the low 60's, which is freezing," Lily said.

"No its not," Zoë stated, in a mocking tone.

"Yeah it is, you're just from a place with snow!" Lily replied.

That didn't really answer our questions... it only brought more up. We all turned to the blonde boy who had now reached us. And he ran into Lily, pushing her onto the ground.

"Is this just gonna keep happening today?" she asks nobody in particular.

"Probably," Zoë replied.

"Thanks for all the support Zoë," Lily muttered.

"Gasp, was that sarcasm Lily?" she said, faking being surprised.

"Yup, guess I'm learning," Lily muttered, again.

"I'm such a good teacher," Zoë said. These people are so odd...

"GAARA! What are you doing here?!" the knucklehead asked.

"I don't know," Gaara replied.

Then it started raining.

"Called it!" Lily said.

"What?" I say.

"I called it. Earlier, when the others arrived, I said it would rain," she explains.

"Lets go inside," Kai suggests.

We all go towards the big blue house and go inside.

Lily POV

I rub my sore back as I walk towards my house. Goodness, you would think Gaara wouldn't be that heavy but geez, its like he ate rocks!

My phone starts buzzing. It was my surfer friend Ryan, but we like to call him Skipper, or Skip for short.

I answered it. It went like this.

Skip: "Yo Trig!"

Me: "Yup, Skip?"

Skip: "The waves are like ten foot today! Cuz' of that narley storm!"

Me: "Really, dude? That's awesome! I'll be out there as soon as I can! Wait, can I long board?"

Skip: "Yeah, I guess. But what happened to your sick six footer?"

Me: "Oh, you know, the usual. Somebody think its a toy."

Skip: "Well, sorry for your loss. That was a nice board."

Me: "I know. May she rest in pieces."

Skip: "Alright, I'll see you in ten?"

Me: "Yup, I'll keep you posted."

I hung up the phone and looked to see everyone else was already in the house. I was on the doorstep.

"Alright, guys. I'm going surfin," I say. Already heading to my room to get into my bathing suit.

"In this weather?!" Naruto yells.

"Its clear on the other side of town. Plus, the waves are great because of the storm, so..." I trail off.

I reach my door in surprise, and notice something was missing. I'm not sure what though. I stop in thought and stare at the door..............MY DOORKNOB RAN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run back to the others. How did I not notice this before?

"MY DOORKNOB RAN AWAY!!!!!!" I yell, gaining worried expressions.

"What?" most of them say simultaneously.

"My doorknob is not where its supposed to be! There's just a hole in the door!!" I yell.

"Err...uhh...what?" I hear Sasuke say.

"I had to lock my door, didn't I?" I say.

"Where'd it go?" Shikamaru asks.

"My dad took it..." I say.

"Who takes a doorknob? It's a doorknob!" Kai asks. She has a point.

"My dads way of punishing me when I do something wrong," I say. Why me? Last time it was my phone, now its my doorknob? Why me?

"It could've been worse. He could've driven you around for two hours pretending he didn't know how to drive. That was terrifying," Zoë says.

"I remember that. We just kinda kept spinning," Kai adds on.

"That's my dad for you," I finish.

"I am so sorry," TenTen states.

"He sings to me to wake me up almost every morning. On the phone!!"

"Yeah...I know, I'm there." I state.

"Well, I'm going to go jerry-rig the door," I say and go back to my room.

  Zoë POV

"What does jerry-rig mean?" Naruto asks.

"She's gonna fix it as well as she can." Kai states.

A few minutes later, everybody's gone back to doing there own thing.

"Okay guys, I'm going to the beach. See you later. Zoë, Kai, stay here and watch them," Lily says, coming out of her room.

"Fine, but why is it always us?" I ask. She leaves without answering.

Right after she left, the phone rang. After learning what happens when you let Naruto answer the phone, I ran and grabbed it.

The identity of the caller was... "oh. Schist."

"What?" Kai asked.

"Its her dad..." I responded.

"What? Answer it." she shouts.

"But... but..." I stutter. Her dad is terrifying.

"We have trained for this. Come on, Zoë. Be strong." She lectures.

"What if he sings again?" I say darkly.

"Then sing back!" She says.

"Umm... But...FINE."

I pick up the phone and put it on speaker so that if he sings I'm not the only one that has to suffer.

"Hello?" I say, trying to sound normal.

"Hello, its me. I haven't seen you in a while. Do you still remember me?" he serenades.

Everybody is staring at the phone, then at me, then back at the phone, then back at me, and slowly start nodding their heads in agreement that her dad is crazy.

"Hello, its Zoë. Lily is in the bathroom but if you want me to leave her a message..."

"Tell her that I said no surfing while we're gone. And let her know that her doorknob has been confiscated until further notice."

"Okay. I'll let her know."

"Okay. Goodbye."

"B-bye..." I say and I hang up the phone.

"This is more serious than we thought," Asuma sensei said.

"What do you mean?" Kai said.

"Are you sure her parents are responsible adults?" he asks.

"Close enough," I reply.

"Yes, her parents are very responsible adults," Kai corrects.

"Okay..." Kurenai says slowly and unsure.

"Anyways, lets all just chillax for a bit." I say.

I let about five minutes pass before asking," So, who wants to go to the beach?"

Most of them slowly raise their hands, before Ino speaks up.

"But didn't she say to stay here? I don't think she wants us to go," she says.

I think I already got on the fangirls bad sides by yelling at Sasuke. Oh well.

"Listen, Ino. I don't care what she said. Her dad said she couldn't surf so we should go get her, right?" I say.

"Why don't I believe you?" Kakashi says.

"Dunno. That's your problem. But first... lets find a way to go without her getting in trouble." I say mysteriously.

I go towards the phone and call her MOM.

Everybody gives me odd looks.

When she picks up, she says," Hello?"

"Hey. Zoë again. She wants to know if she can go with responsible adults there?"

"Uhh...I suppose. That'd be fine."

"Awesome sauce. Kay. Thanks. Bye."

"Bye. Be careful."

"Of course." I say as I hang up.

"Okay, Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai, Yamato you are now responsible adults. Have fun with that." I turn and say to them.

"Umm..okay?" Asuma says.

"What about me?!" Guy asks.

"You're too... youthful," I respond.

"You can never be too youthful!!!" Lee joins in.

"Yeah, sure, whatever you say..." I say.

"We're really doing this?" Kai asks.

"Of course. And you can get a lot of pictures." I say.

"You're right!!" she says and she speeds off and gets in her car.

"Wait a minute, Kai! Look, I'm gonna stop at my house to get my swim suit on the way. Although I don't actually know how to fit them all, you can take the sand peoples and team Kurenai," I said, now wondering how I'll fit the rest in my sisters car.

"Wait, SHINO?!" she screamed.

"Her?!" Shino asked, "Why her?"

"SHIKAI FOR LIFE!!! I ship it!!" I scream.

"What?" they both say simultaneously.

"Aww," Sakura coos.

"They're even talking simultaneously!" Ino joined in.

"They're so cute!" TenTen squeals.

"Its so romantic! Temari added.

"STOP IT!!!" Shino and Kai scream together.

All of the girls except for me coo and squeal again.

We leave them alone and they all pack into Kai's car and go.

Okay, my sisters car has a whole four seats besides me, so... lets see what we can do here...

"Kakashi, you're up front. The rest of you, figure something out." I say.

"Why does Kakashi sensei get to be up front? What's so special about him? Huh?" Naruto complains.

"Well, I don't have to worry about him SCREAMING IN MY EAR THE WHOLE TIME!!!!" I scream in Naruto's ear.

"Ow... fine." He agrees.

"I'm gonna sit on Sasuke's lap," Ino says.

"Shut up, Ino-pig, I'm gonna be the one to sit on Sasuke's lap!" Sakura argues.

We all squish into the car somehow and Sasuke jumps into the trunk and creates a barrier blocking himself from everybody else.

I get out and go open the trunk.

"That's not the only way in there ya know," I state before Naruto jumps in across from Sasuke.

"Hey Sasuke!" he yells.

"Go away, loser." Sasuke states, bored.

"Oh Sasuke, he's just happy to see you. Have fun dealing with him!" I state jokingly as I close the trunk door.

I get back in and everybody in the back seats look irritated... oh well! I drive to my house and on the way Naruto starts getting sick.

"Are we there yet?" Sasuke asks from the trunk.

"No." I say.

"This road is... really... rough...I.. feel sick..." Naruto forces out as he started turning green.

"NO!" Sasuke yells jumping into the middle seats onto everybody else.

We all hear Naruto throw up in the trunk.

"Eww..." Sakura and Ino say.

"You're cleaning that up!" I yell.

"Yeah, sure, okay..." he says, then passes out.

We get to my house and I get cleaning supplies and hand it to Naruto. My dad is the only one home.

"Okay, I'll get swimsuits," I say as I go inside.

I stop as I realize Sai and Shikamaru followed me in. "Really, guys?"

Shikamaru plops down on the couch and Sai just stands behind me awkwardly.

"Hey, dirtbag." My dad greets.

"Hey, papadre!" I say back.

"Who're these people?" my dad says as I remember he watches Naruto.

"Oh, this is Sai and Shika-chan." I say.

"Boyfriend?" he asks, bluntly.

"No," I respond.

"Oh. So, after Jiraiya's dea-" he starts. "After Jiraiya's what?" I cut in.

"His d-" he begins again.

"We can talk about this later," I interrupt once more. "Oh, and I'm gonna be staying at Lily's house for a while. Right now I'm going to the beach but I'll stop and get my stuff on the way back."

"Sure, but you should probably talk to your mom."

"Okay. Anyways, I need to borrow one of moms bathing suits for Kurenai," I say, not realizing how awkward that sounds.

"I'm starting to sense a pattern..." he says.

"I would imagine. They're all Naruto characters." Lily is going to kill me.

"Oh. Okay," he says. I go in my room and grab some swim suits and go ahead and get dressed. I walk back out and Kakashi has also come inside. Curse you Kaka-sensei!

"Guys, out. Shika-chan, awaken. We have some swimming trunks in the car from Dante and I have swim suits for the girls, so we all can go to the beach and do... whatever you want to do...I guess." I say awkwardly.

"What is this?" I hear Sai ask. I turn around and he's holding a balloon.

"That, my good friend, is a rubber sack filled with your breath," I state.

"What's their purpose?" he asks.

"Dunno. But their fun to play with." I say, spiking it at Shikamaru.

"Eww..." he says, spiking it back. Soon enough, a full fledged game of balloon ball has begun.

A few minutes later, I remember why we're here.

"Wait, we have to get back to the car. BYE DAD!!" I yell.

"See ya later bum!!" he yells back.

We go back out and this time I stuff Guy, Lee, and Naruto in the trunk because they were annoying last time. Everyone else reluctantly get in, and Sasuke ends up in the front.

"Dude, stop being an emo duck butt," I say while reaching for my phone to play music.

"Shut up and drive," he replies.

"Jerk," I say.

"Whatever." He says.

I start heading down the road and play Welcome to Paradise by Green day.

 Kai POV

This was absolute torture.

Bug man just kept giving me the evil eye. I did nothing to him, so what's his problem?

Starting to lighten the mood a little bit, I started talking to Hinata. But all she does is blush and stutter! She's really nice, at least.

I look back to see what everyone was doing. Temari was talking to Kankuro, Gaara was staring out the window, Kiba still freaking out about what the heck a car was, Hinata rubbing her hands together, and Shino still giving me the stink eye!

I looked next to me in the front seat and saw Kurenai studying her hands as if something would suddenly appear. I guess they don't really know what to say either.

I heard sirens approaching us. What was the speed limit again? Crap. I'm speeding.

"ITS THE ALIENS!!!! THEY'RE COMING FOR US!!! GO FASTER!!!!," I hear Kiba scream out of sheer terror.

"It's just the police. Don't worry about it," I say as I start to slow down.

"DONT SLOW DOWN!! THEY'LL KILL US!! KEEP GOING!!", Dog boy screams again.

"Not if I kill them first," Gaara states.

"Yeah! We won't let them kill us!" Kankuro yells.

"Umm.. g-guys, maybe we should s-see what they want first.." Hinata stutters.

"She's right. Stay on guard though!" Temari shouts.

"Why don't we just go ahead and put them down for the count! That'll show them to mess with is!" Kankuro shouts. I stop the car.

"OR WE COULD JUST KEEP GOING AND DON'T STOP THE CAR!!!!!" Kiba shouts once again.

"Listen, this is no time to get cold knees. This must be war!" Kurenai declares.

"GUYS! LISTEN!!! I'M TELLING YOU IT HAS TO BE ALIENS!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!" Kiba yells as he attempts to get out of the car.

I look out the window and see the police officer approaching.

I see a mix of sand and bugs starting to crawl on the dashboard. Doing the only logical thing I could think of seeing the bugs, I scream!

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

They all turn towards me. "Bugs. Everywhere. Go away. Go away. Go away." I keep repeating myself while shooing them away.

Shino started laughing, and all the heads turned to him.

"HAH! YOU'RE AFRAID OF BUGS! THAR'S WHY YOU HATE ME!!" he yells.

"SHUT UP SHINO!!! JUST PUT THEM BACK!!!" I yell.

"Nah, I think I'll just let them crawl around. That's what you get for giving me a concussion. I'm still seeing doubles!" he yells back.

The police officer is standing right outside the window.

"Everybody, battle formation!" Kurenai shouts.

"WHY WORRY ABOUT THAT!!! JUST START THE BIG METAL MACHINE UP AGAIN AND GET GOING!!! IM TOO YOUNG TO DIE!!!" Kiba yells, reaching for the controls.

The sand starts spreading everywhere.

"Kankuro! Gaara1 Get ready! We still don't know what we're dealing with!" Temari shouts.

"G-guys, I really think that m-maybe we should just s-see what they want," Hinata whispers.

"THEY WANT TO DISSECT OUR BRAINS!!!! START THE MACHINE, MACHINE GODS!!! SHOW THIS THING THE RIGHT PATH TO TAKE AND GO THAT WAY!!! He yells, bowing to nothing.

I wonder how he'll react to Doctor Who. He'll never get a blink of sleep after he watches one.

"BATTLE FORMATIONS!!!" Kurenai shouts.

The police officer is knocking on the window.

"KANKURO!!! USE CROW!!!" Temari yells.

"THERE'S NOT ENOUGH ROOM IN THE MACHINE!!!" he yells back.

"I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!!" Kiba yells.

"YOU'RE AFRAID OF BUGS!!!!" Shino continued.

I was about to snap if the didn't shut up in 3...

"BATTLE FORMATION C!!"

2...

"I'll crush those who threaten my comrades."

1..

"I..I DONT WANNA DIEEEEEEEE!!!!! I HAVE SO MUCH TO LIVE FOR!!!!! I DONT WANT TO DIE A VIRGIN!!!!!!."

"SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S JUST THE COPS!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO KILL US!!!! CALM YOURSELF!!! AND JESUS KIBA, JUST STOP TALKING!!!!!!" I scream.

"Well hello officer." I say sweetly as I roll down the window, faking a smile.

"Uh, ya know what, I left my car running and... I have to go... bye!" he said as he ran away from the car.

"Well, that was rude," I state after he leaves.

I started the car again and Kiba says, "NOW YOU START THE CAR!!!!"

"Kiba, you saw what I did to Shino," I say threateningly.

"And I saw what he did to you," he replied smartly.

As soon as I get home, I'll grab a stick and beat the living daylights out of him. And Shino.

We pulled into my driveway and I jumped out.

"STAY. HERE." I yell.

I went inside to grab bathing suits for me and whatever else I could find.

Shino POV

After Kai thankfully left, another half person came out of the house.

She approached the metal steed we were in and got in the seat Kai was in earlier.

She seemed to not notice our presence, until our loud mouth friend Kiba yelled, "WHO ARE YOU?!"

She slowly turned her head towards us. "I should ask you the same question because your in my car!"

"Car? What's a car?" Kankuro asked.

"The big thing you're in now, kitty cat."

"KITTY CAT?! WHO ARE YOU CALLING KITTY CAT?!" He yells.

"You, whiskers."

"THATS IT!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!"

"Whatcha gonna do, pretty kitty. Meow? Or are you gonna cute me to death? I'm soooo scared," she said mockingly. 

I have to admit, this is sort of enjoyable.

"By the way, kitty, you're in my seat. Get up," she says.

"What? Oh, you're asking for it, you b-"

Temari covered Kankuro's mouth, so the rest of the word sounded muffled.

"She's just a little kid, Kankuro. She doesn't need to hear that," Temari said.

"Ooh, mommy doesn't like that language," she said.

I noticed a tick mark appear on Temari's head.

"MOMMY?!?! WHO ARE YOU CALLING MOMMY YOU LITTLE B-"

Gaara covered her mouth, so she sounded muffled.

"Now what did you just say,... mommy..." he said, mockingly.

"You look familiar for some reason. Probably because you resemble a little panda. They're so cute, adorable, and fluffy. Just like you," she said to Gaara.

"...What?" Gaara asked. In what way does the Kazekage resemble a panda?

"I said you were a cute little panda," she cooed as she poked Gaara's nose.

"............." we all went silent to see what would happen. A few specks of sand flew out of the gourd, but zoomed back in.

"...did she just?" Kiba started.

"Yes. Yes she did," I state. Who is this girl?

"So there's a kitty and a panda, but the kitty doesn't look... kitty... enough..." she trailed off.

She reached in her back pocket and pulled out a marker, and... drew whiskers on his face...

"Meow!" she said, after her work was complete.

And that, was his breaking point, apparently everybody else's too.

"Kankuro, get her," Temari growled.

"Gladly," he said, smiling, as he threw a punch at her face.

It seemed to happen in slow motion as she just tilted her head in the other direction.

"That's not very nice, ya know. It's actually against the law here. You wouldn't wanna get arrested, would ya?" she mocked as Kai came out of the house.

"TAYLOR!!!! GET OUT OF THE CAR!!!!" Kai screamed.

"But mommy said we were going ice skating..." she whined.

"Yeah, well mommy was wrong, I'm using the car today," she said.

"Where're ya going?" the girl, Taylor, asked.

"The beach," Kai answered.

"Ooh! Can I come?" she asked.

"NO!" we all answered simultaneously.

"No need to be rude, what'd I ever do to you guys?" she asked, feigning innocence.

We all sweat dropped at her antics.

"Taylor, you wouldn't want mom to get mad, would ya? She'll make you clean the litter box," she stated.

Kankuro's face turned bright red.

"But I don't want to leave pretty kitty.." she pouted.

"Who's pretty kitty?" Kai asked.

Kankuro coughed and looked down in shame.

"Oh... well, live with it, we have to go. Besides, we already have two other cats, one of which Zoë calls pillow, and a dog, and a guinea pig. So play with one of them," Kai stated.

"Fiiine. Bye mommy, bye panda, bye... pretty kitty," she says with a smirk.

"IM GONNA KILL HER!!!!!!" Kankuro and Temari scream at the same time.

"That's illegal too you know!" she yells back as she scampered off and into the house.

"Who was that?" Kiba asked.

"That was my little sister, unfortunately," she says with a sad look.

"Is she afraid of bugs too?" I asked.

"No, snakes," Kai answered. She got in the car and we headed to the beach.

 ...

We were almost to the beach when I decided to ask, "So are you afraid of snakes?"

"Nope, actually, I love them."

We turn in to the beach parking lot.

"But the question is, my friend," she started, "Do you like sticks?" she asked as she grew a scary smile and showed us the stick she had with her. When did she get that?

Kiba and I had a look of terror as we jumped out of the car and ran for the beach.

"RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kiba screamed. We kept running.

 Lily POV

The waves were so narley today! I'm so happy I came out. It would've been a lot better if I were on a short board, but nooo. Stop being negative, its killing my vibe. I'm gonna be positive. Think happy thoughts.

"Yo, Trig!" I hear Ryan say from a board a couple feet way from me.

"Yeah, Skipper?"

"You see the nice set that's heading our way? About 30 seconds til impact?" he asked.

"Yeah, Skipper, I'm not blind, I've been watching for awhile now." I state.

"Well, ill race ya. Pushing and flipping allowed," he said.

"Sure. Can Mandy and Tom join too?" I ask.

"Nah, lets just do it the two of us this time. I'd prefer no collateral damage. It'll be fun," he encourages.

"Nice to know how you feel about my friends... and Tom," I say.

"Aww, you don't mean that Trig." Tom pouted.

"Well, Tommy, who am I kidding? I'm friends with everybody," I say cheerfully.

"We're going for that next one. It's at least 11 foot but make sure not to nose dive, it'll be a long time under," Skipper states.

"Aye, Skipper. I wouldn't dream of it." I say.

"Start paddling now!" he yelled.

"Good luck, you two!" Mandy said from the distance.

I started paddling hard, my arms digging into the water, with my neck up. I won't lose to Skipper this time.

I was now on top of the wave. I just had to descend a little bit and I would be good to go.

"Remember what I said about pushing and flipping?"

"Yup."

"Well, that rule applies now," he says as we both descended down the wave.

We both started wrestling while balancing on the board. Not the smartest idea, but fun as heck.

"Hey. Lily?"

"What? You about to lose to a girl and you want to give up already?" I say, trying to kick his board out of the way a little bit so we wouldn't fall.

"No, there's just a whole big group of people running on the beach."

"What?" I turn my head, and see somebody chasing two other people with a blue stick like a mad woman.

Oh crap, I thought I told them to stay home.

"What is it? You seem like you know those people. Why are there so may of them?" he asks.

"Well, Skip, sadly I do," I say.

"They're cousins from Wisconsin, coming to keep me company while my parents are away."

"They sent like, twenty people?! They must not trust you very much," he says, stating the obvious.

"Thanks, Captain Obvious, they also took my door knob, so obviously not that much."

"Uh, Trig?"

"What?!"

"You're about to go 32 under," he said.

"What?" I say.

Well, all I can say now is that I nose dived, and my board dragged me under for a good couple minutes. Yay for free diving.

I open my eyes and see that Ryan's not in the nest condition either. He's right next to me. Apparently we both fell, together.

We washed up on shore, and I hear the one and only Zoë Grace laughing at me. Does she always have to be there when I fall on my butt.

"That was great, Lily!" Zoë says, sarcastically.

"Why thank you, I do try," I respond.

In the distance, I hear slight screaming, and Neji's curled up into a ball in the sand.

What did I miss?

"Some group of cousins you have there," Ryan says.

"Yup."

Zoë POV

Well, before Lily came crashing down, hilarious by the way, with Ryan in tow, Kai arrived at the beach with the other ninjas.

Before they arrived, it was as normal as it could get, with Naruto splashing around, and pretty much everybody else sitting on the beach, along with me.

The first thing that happened when her group arrived was Shino and Kiba. They came running in like animals, screaming at each other. They must be running from Kai.

As I thought that, Kai came running in behind them, stick in hands, ready to whack them at any given moment.

"DUCK FOR COVER!!!" I hear Neji yell as he curls into a little ball. Oh yeah, he's felt the wrath before. Everybody shall fear the stick.

I watched this little exchange long enough to see Naruto get smacked in the back of the head with the stick on accident. Oh well.

I look back at the entrance and see Kankuro and Temari walk in with dark clouds over their heads. While, they're looking as gloomy as ever. Kankuro had marker on his face.

"Hey pretty kitty, what's the matter?" I ask Kankuro.

"NO. No. No, no, no. Stop it." He said.

"Well, butt much," I say.

Gaara walked by after them and looked a little... over excited about the sand before he went and started playing with it. He is a master at sand castles.

Then came in Kurenai and Hinata, looking terrified.

"So, what exactly happened in the car with Kai?" I ask, expecting the worse.

"It was horrible!" Kurenai yelled.

"Did she get pulled over again?" I ask.

"Yes, and Kiba thought it was an alien invasion. He was freaking out." She states truthfully, but doesn't mention what the rest of them were doing.

"Just wait til I show him Doctor Who," I say with a smirk, " He'll love the Daleks and weeping angels."

Kurenai and Hinata went to join the other girls in the water. Asuma also joined them. Gaara was busy in the sand. Kai was still chasing Shino, but Kiba had gotten away and was now having a splash war with a dazed Naruto. Lee and Guy were about a mile out practicing Chakra control on the water. I probably shouldn't let the do that. The rest of us were sitting on the beach. Choji eating, Shikamaru chilling, the rest just... sitting and talking.

Then Lily and Ryan came rushing in. Literally.

Lily POV

Pretty sure Ryan and I look like crap right now. He has pink sunscreen smeared on his face, his blonde hair looks like a tornado hit it, and he has bad board rash on his chest and arms.

And I doubt I look any better. Good thing I'm wearing a swim shirt over my bikini.

"Trig?"

"What?"

"You have a fish in your hair."

"What?!"

"I'm pretty sure we got dragged through a school of fish, so you got fish in you hair."

"Can you please get it out?"

"Yeah, sure."

"He took the fish out of my hair and I'm kinda shocked it even got in there. It was a little greenie. I named him Bob. I released him back into the water, an he floated.

Me and Ryan both looked at the fish, turned to face each other, and turned back to the big group of people on the beach.

There was an awkward silence.

Ryan decided to break it by yelling," I won that one!"

"No you didn't! It was a tie! We both fell at the same time!" I yelled.

"Nu-uh! You tripped first, and I fell after, so I win!"

"No, I pushed you off, so technically it was a tie! Can we no just go with a tie, Skipper?"

"No, Triggerfish, I want ice cream now, so I win!"

"Just because you want ice cream doesn't mean you win! I want ice cream too, so it was a tie! We both get it!"

"What's the pink stuff on your face?" Naruto asked.

"Its sun screen. So we don't get cancer."

"And why are you wearing a shirt in the water? All the other girls are wearing bikinis!"

"Exhibit A," I say, pointing towards Ryan's board rash.

"It hurts, and I already have it on my elbows and knees, and I don't want it anywhere else," I state.

Mandy and Tom come to the beach to see what all the commotion was.

"Was it a tie?!" Ryan yelled towards Mandy and Tom.

"Um, yeah, I'm pretty sure it was a tie," Mandy answered.

"Darn it!" Ryan yells.

"But, you know what I always say, don't worry, be happy, guys. We're all in this together, and there's always the next day," Tom says.

"True, Tom. Speak the words of wisdom," I say.

"Don't worry, be happy!" Tom sings, as all of the surfers break into song.

We ignored the weird looks we were gaining from the ninja and continued with our song.

"Hey, Lil? I want to say sorry for being so mad at you earlier," Ryan says.

"Really? Thanks!" I say, "But don't worry, be happy!"

I turn around for a split second but that gave Ryan enough time to place a bunch of wet, cold, sand and just scrub it into my scalp.

"Ryan Matthew, what were you thinking? I say, about to explode.

"I was thinking, SAND FIGHT!!!"

With that, Tom started to throw a volley of sand balls in our direction. Me being the great friend I am, I trip Ryan and pick up sand and drop it onto his head.

"Ha! Now we both has sandy hair! See you later skip!"

I started walking away but a hand grabbed my ankle, and now I'm face down on the sand too.

"Ha! Now we both have sandy faces too!" he yells.

Somehow, Zoë, Kai, and the ninja got involved and it turned into a full out sand war. I'm surprised any of us got out alive.

"I win!" Tom called out as he was standing on top of a pile of sand while everybody else was face down in the sand.

"Nope, I'm down, I'm down," and now Tom is face down in the dirt with he rest of us.

No one won that game. Now we're just extremely sandy and tired.

But what a Friday.
