Taemin POV:

"Alright, so we have everyone gathered, and are just waiting for Onew right?" Kimbum claps looking over all of us.

We were all standing in front of the university's library in a small circle, waiting for Minho's best friend to show.

"Yep." We all nod in unison.

"Well, while we wait, should we discuss who will sit with who? It's at least an hour drive so..."

"Oh yeah, I forgot the attraction park was slightly far." Key nods.

"First of all, who has a car?" Kimbum asks.

Me, Key, and Jonghyun raise our hands.

"I also brought mine." Kimbum nods.

"And I drove with you today." Minho chuckles.

"I came by bus." Amber pouts. "You guys are too fancy for me."

"You scrubb." Minho chuckles, and Amber just grimaces.

"Alright so really we could fit in two cars to be honest. So how about splitting in two?"

"That's fine, how are we splitting."

"Uh..How about, Me, Key, Jonghyun and Amber in one car then Minho, Taemin and Onew in the other? That is if Taemin doesn't mind driving."

"I- I don't mind." i smile feeling everyone's eyes on me, including Key's worried ones. I minded. But then again i wanted him with me.

"Good."

"Wow, that was settled quick."

"Minho!" we suddenly hear and we all turn our heads to see a boy, who seemed our age, wearing blue jeans and a simple white v-neck running towards us. His orange hair was flapping up and down and a big smile, beautiful actually, appeared on his face.

"Oh, Onew." Minho says before the other engulfs him in a big hug.

"I missed you so much!"

Minho P.O.V:

We had just finished discussing the sitting arrangements when someone called my name out loud. I turned around to see Onew running straight towards me, with a big dopey grin on his face. He hugs me and I hug him back. Boy did I miss my best friend. Well, best guy friend.

"Hi everyone, my name is Lee Jinki, but you can call me Onew." he introduces himself and bows.

"Hello." Jonghyun, Key and Taemin all say since they were the ones he didn't know.

"He is Jonghyun, next to him is Key and he is Taemin." I say pointing at each of them as they raised their hand once their name was called.

"Nice to meet you all." he grins.

"Alright then, now let's go shall we?" Key smiles seeming more giggity then he was earlier.

We all head to the car and I explain to Onew that we will be riding with Taemin. As we follow Taemin, Onew asks the other basic questions. Like what year he was, how his day was, etc..

"Whoa, you have a jaguar?!" Onew exclaims once Taemin unlocks the doors.

"Y-Yeah. " he chuckles.

"Sweet. Oh my gosh, can I get front sit Minho, please." he begs looking at me with the puppy eyes he pulled off so well.

I roll my eyes and nod smiling.

"Of course." i ruffle his hair and we get in the car.

The first half hour was full of Onew trying small talk. Taemin though mostly chuckled or agreed to a few things Onew would say. So basically it was mostly me and Onew talking. But really, Onew more.

"You should laugh more you know. Laughing is healthy for you." Onew tells Taemin in a matter of fact.

I bite my lip and smile to myself. It was true that i had never seen Taemin actually laugh. He smiled or giggled, but didn't laugh.

Taemin blushes and nods his head.

After awhile Onew is quiet and I can see that he has fallen asleep.

"You're..you're friend is funny." Taemin says out of the blue.

"Oh. Yeah. He's really special and fun." i smile agreeing. My best friend was a ball of sunshine.

I look at Taemin on his rear-view to only see him smiling. I smile to myself again and fall asleep till we finally arrive at the amusement park.

Taemin P.O.V:

Kimbum was right. The amusement park wasn't too full and we were even able to park next to each other. We buy our tickets online, since they were cheaper, and pass through the gates.

I don't remember the last time I had come to an amusement park. I was maybe five year old? I look around in wonder. I could see some of the few rides reaching really high. I gulped afraid yet exited. There were a few family around but mostly couples and groups of friends like ours. Screams echoed and I could guess it came from the people riding the hardcore rides.

"Alright, so which ride are we going on?" Jonghyun says.

"I think we should ride the scariest first." Amber proposes. "I heard that if you do that, taking other rides is easy. "

Kimbum nods his head. "I think that's a good idea."

"So, what's the scariest ride?" Onew slightly studders and grips onto Minho's arm who doesn't seem to notice and looks at the others.

"Doomsday." Amber and Jonghyun say simultaneously in an eerie way.

They chuckle.

"Those two Blondie's looked it up in the car." Key scoffs.

"Well, it's decided then." Kimbum chuckles.

We walk towards the customer service area and Key grabs a map. Him and Kimbum look at it trying to figure out where this doomsday ride was, while the rest of us Just fool around. After awhile, they figure it out and we began walking towards it passing many other interesting rides and food areas.

As we neared a purple ride, I began hearing the screams. I looked up to see a sign that read "Doomsday" IN a horror like font. I slightly frown looking at how high the ride was.

"Nope. I'm not doing this." Key shakes his head once we arrive behind the line, which really wasn't long.

"Oh, come on Key." I frown holding unto his arm puffing my cheeks.

"Ugh, alright. But if I die, I'm coming back for you all."

We all laugh and prepare ourselves to get on the ride.

We all looked at each other since we were uneven.

Minho shrugs it off and decides to sit at the very first row. Onew asks if he wants him to join him but before he could even answer, a high school girl goes next to Minho and sits with him (quite happily at that). Shouldn't she be at school?

Amber chuckles and sits right behind with Jonghyun. I sigh and sit behind them as Onew sits next to me and Key and Kimbum sit behind us.

Well. I would say that the ride was scary, but that would've been an understatement.

Our legs dangled in the air as the ride took us up and down in circles. Our screams were loud and muffled because of the oxygen engulfing our lungs. Above the 20 people on the ride, I could hear Key screaming and most likely crying. I try hard to look next to me and see Onew laughing, though the fact that we were going so fast made it hard for him. I laughed seeing how he chocked but soon the horror happened to me and I could even scream or yell.

"That was insane."

"Okay, I think I can take on anything by now, I died like 8 times up there." Key states dramatically.

We all laugh and walk towards another ride. Kimbum and Key stayed together while Jonghyun walked with Amber. I stayed next to Onew Who kept talking to me while Minho was on the other side of him.

"How did that girl react?" Onew says, and I knew he was talking to Minho.

I can hear him chuckle.

"Poor Girl. She gripped unto me as much as possible. I tried hard not to laugh but in the end i ended up screaming along with her when we did the last drop."

Onew laughs.

"She did look different when she got off. She was blushing and everything."

All i could think about was how lucky that girl had been. Gripping unto him like that. His strong arms. Without looking suspicious, they probably looked like a cute couple to others. I would've felt protected as well in his embrace.

I shake my head and sigh.

We take many other rides. Amber was right, it was less scary and we felt less fearful riding them. We took a break when everyone got hungry and bought hot dogs, sandwiches and a few drinks. By the time we were done eating and walking around with small chatter, and taking some of the calmer rides, the sun was setting and the attraction park was lit with many different colors. I had also grew fond of Onew and would consider calling him a friend at this point.

"Alright guys," Kimbum grabs our attention as we were walking around chattering.

"This is so cheesy, but I can see that everyone is a little tired. So how about we end this with the big wheel?"

"Oh, so romantic!" Amber cooes nudging Kimbum side who rolls his eyes.

"I'm serious." he chuckles.

"Alright."

"Yay, something that won't make me throw up..." Jonghyun chuckles.

"Mm, but aren't we uneven." Minho frowns counting us.

"Oh, yeah. Minho go find a girl for us!" Jonghyun chuckles.

Minho scoffs and hits the other lightly. Those two had also gotten close. They had this Tom and Jerry vibe around them. It seemed like the others easily got close to him.. when I didn't.

"I would join you guys but I rather go over there and wait for you guys. I don't like being high up in the dark." Onew says giving me a knowing look to which i raise an eyebrow to.

"You sure Onew?" Amber asks.

"Mhm, I'm sure." he smiles.

Minho and Amber give each other sad looks.

"Take care Onew, and don't fall asleep on a random bench, stay close."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm the hyung here, i can wait for twenty minutes." he chuckles and leaves before Minho can protest again.

"Well, I guess we're even now." Kimbum sighs.

"Welp, I'll go with Amber." Jonghyun says getting a high five from Amber.

"I take Key." Kimbum grins wrapping his arm around the other who was smiling fondly. Which of course left me with...

We slowly went up.

Like really slow.

Me and Minho had been the last ones to go on the ride, and apparently it was also the last ride of the day. We got lucky.

I was trying hard not to show any signs of nervousness. I plastered a smile on my face and looked straight out the window, although we had barely moved off the ground.

"T-This is my first time on this ride." i studder ,mentally face palming myself for even trying to engage in small talk and sounding like an idiot.

"Oh, really?" his deep voice let's out a chuckle. My heart flutters and I try hard to keep my breathing normal.

"Yeah. Like, I've come to an amusement park once. But never got to ride this one." i smile looking down at my hands then back outside as we were rising slowly.

"That's funny, I have but only like twice." he says as though deep in thought.

"With..A girlfriend?" i ask out of curiosity.

"Wah. Do you really see me as a player or something." he chuckles.

I look at him and giggle.

"Why? You're going to tell me it's not true?"

He looks back at me and smiles.

"The first time it was with Amber. We were hanging out with Onew and our other friend Jiho..." Minho frowns. His face suddenly turning gloomy against the attraction park's glowing lights.

"That day something bad happened. But it happened to the person that was with Onew."

I frown.

"What...happened? If i may ask.."

He looks at me and smiles softly.

"Mmm...We got on the ride. I was with Amber and Onew was with our friend Jiho...and that friend, who seemed so lively and energetic that day. He suddenly had a heart attack..." I tried my hardest to ignore the chills that came over my whole body. My heart fell, Minho was smiling softly but i could feel the pain.

"Onew tried calling for help but he was way high up and nobody could hear him. By the time he got down...Jiho was gone..."

His voice shakes. I feel my heart waver along with it. I felt the pain too gravely. Not knowing what to say, I place a hand on his. He jolts up, slightly tensing, but relaxing afterwards.

"Thanks." he smiles at me.

"So that's why Onew won't ride the big wheel. I'm glad he even actually was able to enter the attraction park to be honest."

I nod, noticing how sick and pale Onew looked everytime we passed the big wheel.

"So.. How about that second time?" i bite my lip hoping it would be a good memory.

He grins and looks at me. His dark chocolate eyes making me drown in them. I can't help but think that if he was mine i would kiss him right here, right now. Snuggling myself to him, kissing away his sadness, telling him..

"This is my second time since then."

I take my hand away from his and smile to myself looking outside. I was blushing and was sure I would give all my secrets away if I kept staring into those dreamy eyes of his.

"So, how about you. Life stuff. I want to know."

We were almost halfway up. I really can't believe this ride was so slow. but I didn't mind. I look at him and sigh.

"Obviously i have no problems money wise. I go to the same school as you, I'm mar-ied to the music and I love dancing." i nod hoping he didn't notice my delay. I had almost told him i was married. Get it together Taemin.

"Oh, so is dancing your major?" he asks.

I smile sadly and look down at my hands.

"I wish I could be a dancer but with my family...I'm lucky I was even able to take dance as a class." i sigh and look back at him. He was looking back with sympathy. But then it had something more, it's like he cared genuinely.

"You're a great dancer, that's a shame." he says after his silent stare.

"How do you know?" i frown slightly with a grin.

"I've seen you dance, that's how." he chuckles.

"What? When?"

"Last year, it was the first time I saw you... You were in the practice room. It was amazing."

"Thanks." i smile shyly. I wonder when exactly that was. Ugh, i guess he has seen me sweaty before then.

We stay in silence, I notice that we were a few feet only from the top. I smile looking down at how small everything looked from here, and how beautiful it looked because of all the different colors.

"Lee Taemin," he calls out to me and I frown turning to face him.

"Didn-" i stop speaking. he was looking at me straight in the eyes. My heart began racing. Uncontrollably. I ignored that he just called me Lee Taemin. I just looked straight into his eyes and drowned. My eyes lingered down to his lips, making my heart do a 180.

"You're not drunk today are you?" he breaths out.

"N-No." i studder not exactly understanding what I was even answering 'no' to.

He didn't say anything. We were now all the way at the top, my head was everywhere. What was going on? What were Key and Kimbum doing? Were Amber and Jonghyun telling each other stupid jokes? Was Onew fast asleep on a bench somewhere getting his wallet stolen?

I suddenly flinch when I feel Minho's hand on mine. His eyes hadn't left mine even for a second. Suddenly he began leaning. It was one of those awkward leans, like he wasn't sure if he should. The closer he got, the more i closed my eyes, my heart doing so many flips i felt as though I was riding Doomsday again.

He tightened his grip on my hand before closing the distance between his lips and mine.

The kiss was almost too innocent for my heart to handle. At least it was the first few seconds. Then it got intense. He wrapped his other arm around my waist and I pushed myself as close to his body as possible. His tongue hit my teeth and I didn't even wait before opening my mouth. I moaned softly and hoped he didn't hear. But i knew he probably did. Our tongues were intertwining and our hot breath as well. I was glad i hadn't had onions on my hotdog.

I was breathing heavily and was running out of breath but the amazingness of this kiss was worth it. I was so into it that i ended him straddling him. I could feel his pants tight under me, but then again it was maybe my own.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

We both jump up and look at the exploding lights outside.

Fireworks.

I blush and sit back down, trying hard to catch my breath. I forgot about the fireworks around closing time. I fix my hair, though nothing was to be fixed and sit frozen.

"So," he says in his deep voice, making me bite my lip.

"I was wondering. If you..you know.. would like to go out on dates sometime? And maybe... we could go out...and hopefully, we get to know each other and be a couple..."

I look up at him eyes wide. I was on cloud nine.

" That's If you'd like though!" he hurries and says. "I won't force you or anything." he smiles softly.

My heart flutters once more. Did he just ask me out? His eyes and voice showed that he was nervous. It's funny how he went from flaming charisma who is a great kisser to nervous college boy. It was cute.

"Yeah..." i smile cutting his nervous ranting. "I'd like that."
