Chips POV.

we...have...been...flying...FOREVER

Even though I love to fly i would like to walk every so often. After the main land all that has been here is...ocean...it's driving me insane.

I look around, everyone looks tired, to conserve energy everyone flaps as little as possible so we all simply glide or float of the air currents way above the water. We started out clumped together but after the first day we started to drift apart, but as long as we could see the rest of us we were fine. There are 23 of us Flighters. 6 red, 7 green, 2 purple, 5 yellow, and 3 blue. We are spread out pretty far, I glide down to Sabastian.

"How much further until we reach land?" I ask. He looks over his shoulder at me

"I'm not sure, but we should be close to land now" he says in a hopeful tone.

I hope so to I think

It has now been three days...three days of non-stop flying. My wings hurt from holding them open for so long. None of us have slept and the red Flighters are even more grouchy than usual.

"How much FURTHERRRRRRRR" Cassie a yellow Alex complains to me (yes there are Alexs here get over it)

"How am I supposed to know?" I snap. I may also be pretty grouchy

"It should not be much further now" Sabastian says for about the hundredth time over his shoulder us

"You said that yesterday!" says another green steve named Pine

"And the day before that" Mandy a red alex says

"I know that but we really are getting close i can feel it" Sabastian says

"I SEE LAND" Sunstroke, but we call her Sun or Sunny, another yellow alex screams

I look in the direction she's winging it to as fast as she can and then i see it, a small island with a few trees, it wasn't much but it was land. Summoning all of the energy I had left i make a sloppy turn toward the island and pound my wings up and down trying to get there faster. Amber, Runner, and Marigold (Marigold's nickname is Gold) the other yellow Flighters rocket after Sun and Cassie who are already close to the island

"Finally land! I can't wait to just lay there and not flying for three days straight!" Lavender the purple Alex proclaims

"Ya i agree it would be nice to stop flying for a while" Cosmic the purple steve says as he and Lavender fly to the island

We finally get to the island but i'm too tired to make a proper landing so i just flop onto the warm sand relieved to fold my wings against my body again. Im laying on my stomach with my eyes closed and my arms cradling my head partially asleep but I don't really mind because it sounds like everyone else went to sleep as soon as they landed.

"River can you help me turn over? I cant sleep if im laying on my wings!" I hear Coral the blue Alex say as i'm about to fall asleep

"Fine but then leave me alone" I hear River, the other blue steve grumble. I hear him get up and help Coral turn over and then i hear him take two steps and flop on the ground to sleep, "now go to sleep!"

"But it's the middle of the day" I hear Mandy say

"GOOD DAY THEN! NOW GO TO SLEEP" I hear Flame, one of the grouchy red steves, scream from across the sand. I pick my head up and glare over at Flame

"Can you be a bit quieter?" I ask

Flame doesn't say anything but he closes his eyes and lays back down. I sigh and lay my head back down and fall into a comfortable sleep

(yay got another chapter done! i hope you guys enjoyed this im working on the next chapter but i have no idea when i will post it but until then...
