Veronica's pov: 

Annie had been My best friend for years. We had our own preferences in hobbies, but one thing was for certain, we both like to draw. Annie sits down next to me while I am sketching and I freeze. I'd never tell her this, but I personally kind of have a crush on her. "What are you drawing? " Annie asked. "Just the fountain." I said. "It looks so realistic!" Annie beamed. "Yeah..." I said. One side was slight taller than the other, and that kind of annoyed me, but Annie saw nothing wrong with it. One of Annie's friends walked up to her and started talking. I rolled my eyes. "Oh yeah, maybe later." Annie said and the person walked away. "What did he want?" I asked, sounding annoyed. I'll admit it, I was kind of jealous. "Oh, he just asked if I finished my part of a project." Annie said. "Ah." I nod, not caring. "Well, there's no need to be a jellyfish, now. I still love you more than some guy." She said, teasingly. My face turns red. "I-" I say, but my mouth  just stops me from talking. "It's kind of obvious you like me." Annie said. I bury my face in my hands out of embarrassment. She pats my head with her hand. "Don't worry, I like you back." She said. I look up at her, her dazzlingly shiny, brown eyes, her red, silky hair. She lightly grabs my face and kisses me.
