Some friends and I were hanging out at the Carnival at the boardwalk. "Alright." Said Lukey. "We've got 8 hours, please don't waste your time. I'll get us all food after wards." "Sounds like a plan." Commented Kai. "Yeah." Alex agreed. I nodded. "Alright." Lukey said. Me and Alex placed a bet of who could toss the most rings onto the bottles. It was a close call, but I came out victorious with 5 extra dollars and a giant blue panda plushie. "Woah, jackpot!" Kai said. "Are you really going to carry that around? It's almost as tall as you." Lukey seemed concerned. It was sweet when they did. "I-it's fine." I said. "Alright, if you get tired of carrying it though, let me know." They winked at me. I felt my face turn a bit red. After a couple of rides later and Kai kicking our asses in laser tag, we had 2 hours left. "What do you guys want to do?" Lukey asked. "I want to go through laser tag again!" Kai said. "I want to go on another rollercoaster." Alex shrugged. "Bumper cars?" I offered. "Oh.. personally I want to go on the Ferris wheel, I honestly don't want to be alone." Lukey said. "Wait- you guys can do those things." I say without thinking. "I'll go uhh you, Luke." I smile at them dumbly. "Alright, thanks bear man." They said. We set the panda down at a bend with our other stuff and head over to the Ferris wheel. It's clearly larger than what Lukey expected, because they grabbed my arm a bit then let go. A thing about Lukey is, they are really scared of big buildings and structures, but They've only told me. "Why did you even want to go on this?" I ask. "Eh, I'll tell you later." Lukey said. "Let's just get over it." We get on it. The sun sets as it goes around. We stop at the top as the moon starts to rise a bit. "I honestly didn't want to go on here for the sights or thrills." Said Lukey. "Really?" I ask. "Yeah.. I came up here so I could tell you.... I.. like you.." They said. I couldn't believe it. "Really? I-" I say, out of words. "I've been giving hints, I don't wink at just any people." Lukey smiles. "Well... I like you too." I say calmly, yet my brain is screaming and crying and partying all at once.
