In this never ending curse he lives, Jackson had the ability to travel between alternate universes. There were three he could access. With each was a life he lead. Jackson even named the worlds. He called Stealthery because he was a wanted thief there. In Solution, he provided help and advice as he traveled across the globe. The final one he called Hope. 

Yes, a basic name, but he called it that for a reason. Besides the fact he was born there. In that world, he was friends with a guy named Ash. The two were close as friends could be. Well, Ash saw them as friends. Jackson actually really liked him. He would have confessed by now, but it's hard to do that when you are constantly traveling between worlds.

Besides, what if that ruins his friendship with Ash? He's one of the few who know about Jackson's ability. He couldn't lose someone that he trusted that much. 

He sat on the balcony thinking about it when he heard someone. "Hey hotshot. C'mon. Dan ordered pizza for us." Ash said. "O-okay." Jackson replies, snapping out of his thoughts. "You okay?" Ash asked. "Yeah." Jackson said, brushing it off.

"Something's obviously bothering you." Ash insisted. Jackson remained silent. "You can tell me anything." Ash reassured. "It might ruin our friendship." Jackson fretted. "I will still be with you no matter what you tell me."  Ash said.

"Promise?" Jackson asked. "Promise." Ash replied. They pinky promise. "Well..." Jackson felt all shaky. "Take a moment to breathe and tell me." Ash said calmly. Jackson exhales. "I know it's complicated with the dimension hopping and stuff but I was hoping.." his voice drifted off and so did his confidence. Ash looked him in the eye, nodding for him to keep going. 

"I was hoping we could be.. more than friends." Jackson said. "Best friends?" Ash suggested. Jackson's face fell. "Y-yeah.. best friends.." "I'm kidding, idiot. I love you too." Ash said, "How did you never catch a hint? I literally called you 'hotshot.'"
