The Escape.

Vincent let out a sigh. "Sit down, it's a long story."

Scott sat down on the couch and patted the seat next to him, looking up at him eagerly. "Go from where the door was sliding closed..."

Vincent sat next to him, closer than probably necessary, but after a cough and a dark look from Chris, he shuffled away a little bit. "Well... It went a bit like this..."

The door finished closing, and Vincent growled lowly, wrenching out of Bonnie's grip, and turning around. "If you're going to kill me, at least look me in the face while you do it."

Bonnie didn't reply; he hadn't expected it to.

Vincent jolted when he heard banging on the door and Scott's voice telling him to hang on. "Idiot!" He hissed. "Get out while I can distract them!"

"Uh," Vincent added as he retold the story (only in his point of view). "I hope you understand I didn't really think you were an idiot..."

Scott shook his head and gestured for him to continue.

"Right... Well...."

Scott's voice had woken something in him, though. Scott wasn't running. If Scott wasn't running, he was just as likely to die. He growled again. His first priority was protecting Scott.

Renewed by this energy, an idea formed in his head.

"Hey, Bonnie," he said. "You remember the old location?"

Bonnie made a groaning sound and pushed Vincent back up against the wall, the blood trickling down and seeping under the door. He groaned as Bonnie snapped one of his arms, but refused to scream.

"Yeah, that's what I thought," Vincent managed weakly. He suddenly reached up with his good arm and tore Bonnie's face off.

Bonnie dropped him and stumbled back, adjusting to the change.

Vincent quickly put on the mask and grinned underneath it. "That's right. Not so clever now, are you?"

Bonnie stared at the mask. Its computers whirred and gears clanked, and the animatronic coding took over from the spirit inside. It stepped away.

Vincent chuckled and made a bow. "I always had a thing for rabbit masks. Too bad this one's not golden."

"That's right," Scott interrupted. "You always liked that Spring Bonnie suit, didn't you? Used to wear it around a lot..."

Vincent grinned and tapped his nose. "All my worries seemed to... Disappear when I wore it."

Without letting anyone question his choice of words, he continued recounting.

Vincent walked out of the Office and stalked down the right hallway, keeping his ears out for sounds of Scott. He jumped when he heard a scream from what sounded like the kitchen and quickened his pace.

But then he saw it at the end of the hallway.

Foxy.

Foxy stared right through the mask. He'd never been fooled by it. Vincent swore quietly.

Foxy advanced on him-

"Are you guys alright?" Vincent asked.

Scott and Dan were looking up at him, eyes wide. "No, no," Scott breathed. "Go on!"

Vincent chuckled. "You're such a child, Scott. Anyway, Foxy was coming for me, so..."

Vincent didn't bother walking backwards, he'd only back into Bonnie. Oh well. He had been going to die, anyway. Might as well face it with some dignity. He was still bleeding badly and his arm was swelling and bruising already. He stumbled forwards towards Foxy.

Foxy growled lowly in its throat, starting down the hall towards him.

Vincent scanned the animatronic, looking for ways around it, but there were none. He noticed he was out the front of the supply closet. He got an idea and slipped inside.

Foxy stayed frozen for a moment, unable to see were Vincent had gone.

Vincent searched desperately through the shelves, and just at the bottom left of the bottom corner, he found it. He picked up the torch, grinning, and turned it on.

Only the batteries were flat.

He heard sounds from outside and knew Foxy had started moving again, down the hallway and just outside the door.

Vincent scrambled over the shelves and found a pair of double As.

Foxy started slamming on the door.

Vincent emptied the old batteries out of the torch.

Foxy tore the door off of its hinges and smashed through into the small room.

Vincent stuffed the new batteries into the torch, praying that they were in the right order.

Foxy lunged at him, the hook leaving a deep gash across his side.

Vincent turned the torch on and flashed it in Foxy's eyes.

Foxy stumbled back, metal pupils contracting, and it buzzed slightly as if confused.

"Yeah, that's right..." Vincent said, flashing him several more times. "Distracting, huh?" His voice was barely audibly and raspy. He was loosing blood.

Foxy's system was reset and it stood up straight and walked out of the room, back towards Pirate's Cove.

Vincent limped out of the room, still wearing the Bonnie mask. Ignoring the rest of the animatronics, and knowing that Scott was either gone or dead, he made his way towards the exit and shuffled outside, collapsing a fair way away.
