In shantivan
Arvind was going through some old stuffs and talking to Ratna as usual... He told her what all he felt when he visited Lucknow again..what happened there etc...
He believes that Ratna is there with them, watching them and looking after them.. Its give him peace when he talks to her like that.
He walked to the hall, near to which a big portrait of ratna is placed which is surrounded with childhood pics of Arnav and their family pics. Its is like a peace corner for Arvind. Standing there he felt the need to visit the temple, to thank the god for all these...for Khushi...the new relations etc. He decided to visit the temple on the next day, without Arnav's knowledge as Arnav don't believe in god...

Next day,
Khushi rushed to the temple as a part of her routine. She noticed a crowd in front of the temple....
Khushi got into the crowd to see what happened and was shocked to find Arvind lying on the floor covered in blood . Khushi rushed near to him ...
"Uncle...uncle ... Somebody pls call any vehicle...." Khushi shouted at the crowd...
Khushi reached the hospital with Arvind.
The doc where checking Arvind while Khushi called Arnav.
"Arnav... Can you come to sanjeevani hospital now...its urgent."
"Khushi are you ok? What happened?"
"Come soon...I will tell you everything.. Please come."
Khushi informed her parents about the situation. She assign the head cook and manager to look after the affairs of the restaurant.
After a few minutes, Arnav reached there.
"Khushi wht happened?"
"Arnav..." Khushi don't know how to tell him....what to tell him..she had tears thinking about it.
"Khushi, why are you crying...and covered in blood?"
"Arnav...your father... He slipped from the temple steps...."
Arnav was shocked he don't know what to do...he felt numb...its like the floor beneath him disappeared all of a sudden, it was hard to digest.
"No....you are kidding.. Isn't it Khushi??? You ate joking... Aren't you??"
Khushi cried and shook her head. Arnav wished if it is a bad dream, but reality slapped at his face. His father is in hospital. When he grasped it, he collapsed on the floor.
Khushi too kneel on to his level and hugged him
"My papa...I don't want to loss him Khushi...I...." Tears flow from his eyes. He don't care if anyone see him in such a state. It is his father who is fighting for his life.
"Nothing will happen to uncle..." Khushi assured him.
They broke the hug. Khushi made him sit on the seat.
"Thanks docs are checking him" Khushi told him squeezing his hand.

After a few minutes,
A doc came out and asked for Arvind's relatives.
"How is my father???"
"Mr raizada's condition is bit critical... He had lost a lot of blood... For the next 24 hrs we cant say anything..." The doc told him.
"How can you say like that...you are the doctor... Save him..." Arnav shouted at him
"I can understand your feelings.. But we are not god...we are trying our best to save your father..." Saying this the doc walked away.
A nurse came asking for blood...Arnav went to give blood while she stayed outside Arvind's room.
Arnav wakes up after giving blood, he found saw Khushi sitting next to him
"How long did I sleep?"
"2 hrs..."
"How is papa...did they say something?" Arnav asked trying to get up from the bed
"No...no...you are weak....they are giving a blood transfusion to uncle... Don't worry...my papa is there with uncle..."
"I have to go and see how my papa is..." Arnav tried to stand up.
"Have this and go... You need to have this now Arnav... If you fell ill how will you look after uncle... Please have it for uncle's sake." Saying this Khushi started to feed him.
Later m they moved to see Arvind. It pained him to see his father lying on the hospital bed attached with wires and all. This is the first time he is seeing his father like this. He know that this.image won't go away from his mind that soon. Whole day Khushi and Shashi stayed with Arnav...
At night...
"Khushi... You and uncle should go home now... I will manage here..." Arnav told to both of them.
"No...Arnav we arer ok...we will stay here..." Khushi tried to convince him.
"No Khushi ...you and uncle should go home and take rest...uncle needs to have medicines and all... I will manage."
"Beta...you are also like my child... But if you insist we will go but Khush will be here with you... Don't feel that you are alone beta...we all are here for you..." Shashi understood arnav and suggested it.
Khushi made Arnav have food prepared by Garima which khush brought there.
"I will come tomorrow... Call me if you want to talk to me..don't bother about the time Arnav..." Khuhsi said to Arnav before leaving with Shashi. She don't want him to keep everything within himself.
Khush stayed with Arnav...helping him around...It was new to Arnav.
All these time...it was just him and his dad. His dads friends did helped them, but they too had some other commitments. Now Khushi's family is here... Not letting him to be alone. He felt good...

Next day...
Khushi came to the hospital with his breakfast. Her presence did give him some piece of mind.Khush went home when Khushi reached hospital
Around noon..the doc told him that Arvind condition is under control...but have to be kept in ICU for observation. Arnav was relieved hearing that... so as Khushi.
Doc told them that they can see the Arvind in the ICU.
Arnav went inside and found a Arvind who is sleep, with wires attached to his small body along with a bandage around his head. Control his emotion Arnav came out and Khushi went inside to see him.
Around noon,
Arvind gained consciousness and asked about Arnav.
Arnav entered the room with a heavy heart.
"Papa... Why??? What if something happened to you..why did you went there. They don't do any good things. All they know is to snatch away one's happiness."
Arnav scolded his father. Arvind can understand what is going in his mind a he had experienced it in the past. Arvind smiled at Arnav.
"You got scared??" Arvind asked
"Scared??? What I felt was more than that papa..." Arnav took his father's small hand in his large hand.
"Its ok...I'm going to be well Arnav..." Arvind squeezed his son's hand to assure him. He continued after a pause.
"I won't let you live in peace that easily...my little son." Arvind teased him.
"And I won't let you go away from me..." Arnav said kissing Arvind's hand, a lone tear fell on arvind's hand at that moment.
"My little Arnav is crying? When did my son become a cry baby? Come near to me Arnav." Arvind asked Arnav.
Arnav moved near to arvind...brought his face close to arvind. Arvind wiped away Arnav's tear and cared his cheek.
" Tears won't suite for my son...and not at all for the Great ASR. Smile for me beta."
Arnav smiled at him and kissed his hands.
"I can't lose you Papa."
"You will never lose me. Be happy and continue to smile for me."
Arnav nodded his head.
"How are you feeling Papa?"
"I'm fine because my son is here with me now. Hmm, beta who took me here?"
"Khushi...She was there in the temple that day...she took you here."
"Where is Khushi bitiya now?"
"She is outside... Do you want me to call her?"
"Yes"
Khushi came inside and stood in front of Arvind.
"Thank you beta fo..."
"Uncle please don't see me as an outsider and thank me...you are like my father..."
Arvind smiled at her hearing it.
"I'm glad that you are in our life beta."
"Take rest uncle...you need enough rest so that we can tease Arnav together."
"Sure... Beta... Can't wait to do that..." Arvind said glancing Arnav.

Arnav hugged Khushi as soon as they stepped outside.
"Arnav what are you doing...there is people around us." Khushi tried to make him understand, but he hugged her tightly... And Khushi also hugged him back.
"Thanks a lot Khushi... If you weren't here I don't know what would have happened to me. Thanks for being in my life and loving me." Khushi smiled at his confession....
"Don't thank me...and I love you."
Whole day Khushi was with Arnav. Shashi joined them at evening, asked about Arvind. Shashi went to meet Arvind
"How are you Arvindji?"
"Bit drowsy...but I'm fine now." Arvind continued after a moment to silence.
"Shashiji...thank for everything...for being with Arnav."
"No...Arvindji... We are glad to be here and be with Arnav... He is like my son...Take rest Arvindji...Arnav need you... We all need you..."
"I know..."
That night Shashi stayed with Arnav

Next day....
Arvind is still under observation, his friends came there knowing about his accident. They insist Arnav to go home, but he was not ready to do so.
Khushi tried to make him understand tht he need to take care of himself so that he can take care of uncle. Somehow she made Arnav agree to go home, but Khushi felt his reluctance.
She asked him about it and after pursuing a lot he told her the reason.
He can't go to his house which will be empty without his dad...
Later Khushi talked with Shashi so that Arnav can stay with them for a day.... Garima was lit concerned about the society, but trusted her husband's decision to let Arnav stay with them.
Khushi along with shashi made him agree to their arrangement.
Arvind to agreed to it and his friends stayed at the hospital for that day.
Arshi reached Gupta house at night.
Garima prepared food for them. Arnav took some dress from his house before coming here... while Khushi waited in the hall... That was her first visit in shantivan. She was surprised to see his house... She looked at the interior and photos hanging on the wall.

For Arnav it was a new experience,
Garima serving food and asking him to eat along with Nandhini. Shashi even told them not to suffocate Arnav with all the foods.
After dinner, Khushi showed him his room.
"Hmm.... adjust in this room...i have already switched on the AC...it won't be like the one you used to sleep... If you hav...." Khushi tried to reason after seeing his house. Arnav understood her and placed his finger on her lip shut her.
"Shh...Khushi... What you and your family is doing is a big thing for me...
I don't care abou the size of this room...So don't worry. Good night Khushi" Khushi nodded her head in reply.
"Don't hesitant to call us if you need something beta" said Shashi who came there with Garima.
"Arnav beta...here have this milk..." Garima said handing him a glass of milk.
"Aunty I..." Arnav tried to deny
"Arnav, one think that you should keep in mind about these two are that they won't hear any excuses if it is about feeding her loved ones. So have this milk and save yourself."
Garima lightly beat him on shoulder...while Khushi sulks at Shashi.
"What are you saying shashiji?...I didn't do such things." Garima said
"Papa, don't scare away arnav."
"Beta...have this milk and sleep well... Call me if you need something... Good night ..now you to come with me and let him sleep." Garima lightly patted his cheek.
Arnav slept peacefully there

At midnight...they all heard a scream from Arnav's room
Everybody rushed to Arnav's room except khush who is a kumbakarn when it is about sleep
"What happened Arnav???" A concerned Khushi asked him.
"I had a nightmare."
"Beta... Keep this with you... No nightmares will come after you." Nandhini gave him a scared chain so that he can sleep well. Arnav looked at the chain and thanked Naniji.
"You all go and sleep I will be ok..." Arnav told them
"Sleep well beta..." Garima said
They all went outside
"Papa..do you mind if I sit with Arnav for a few minutes???"
"Hmm... I will wait in the hall..."

In Arnav's room
"Khushi..."
"I thought you want to talk with me."
"Yeah...I want but not when your parents are sleeping."
"Papa gave me permission... He is waiting for me in the hall...now tell me."
"I had a nightmare about papa's accident... He was rolling down from the steps. There was blood everywhere. It was sooo ...." Arnav choked
"Shhh....everything is over...uncle is fine now.... Soon he is going to be well....don't think about all these..." Khushi assured him.
"I don't knw if I..." His word were cut short by a kiss.
Khushi kissed him hard, licking and sucking his lower lip. She garlanded her arms around his neck, pulling his closer. It took a moment for him to grasp the situation and he too reciprocated the kiss with equal passion. She fleeted kisses all over his face and again sealed his lips with her. They broke apart panting...
"Now think about this and sleep...."
Saying this Khushi pushed him to the bed and asked him to sleep...She placed a quick kiss on his forehead and lips and went out of the room. Arnav smiled remembering their kiss and slowly closed her eyes.
Khushi and Shashi went to their respective rooms then.

Next day,
Arnav got ready to leave.
Garima asked him to have breakfast while Shashi was busy in reading the newspaper... Arnav sat opposite to shashi.
Garima served him breakfast while Khushi stood behind Shashi facing Arnav
"Slept well???" Shashi asked
"Yes...." Arnav said with a smile emembering about their kiss
"I know that my chain will help you..." Nandhini told him not knowing the reality. Hearing that, Khushi looked at Arnav and blushed
Arnav left to hospital, before that he told gupta's not to send foods for him as he feel that he is disturbing them...
Garima didn't hear that and he had to he give up on that.
He also told Khushi that he would manage himself in the hospital and advised her to take rest or be at home.
He don't want people to talk ill about her or her parents, but Khushi insisted that she will join him.
After arguing they agreed that Khushi can visit afternoon and will go back at evening.
That evening they shifted Arvind to a room.
Arnav told Khushi to start working from monday as she was unavailable for 3 days in her restaurant. He don't want her business to suffer.
Khushi don't want to leave Arnav alone, so they made an arrangement.
Khushi will stay with Arvind till noon as there won't be much customers at morning, at that time Arnav should go to office and do his works.
From noon Arnav will be with Arvind while Khushi works go for work.

Some days Arnav stood with a Arvind for whole day while Khushi visit them at noon
Khushi's family and Arvind's friends visited him at hospital.
Aman too came there to visit arvind.
Anjali along with Akash came to visit Arvind know about the accident from shyam. In that visit, they met Khushi and they liked her. At first Khushi was nervous seeing his relatives. She feared that they won't like her, but to her surprise they accepted her as Arnav's girlfriend wholeheartedly.
