That night Arnav thought about what Khushi told him....he couldn't imagine a life without her, without seeing her ..without her love... Without her care... without her chattering... Without her, his life looked empty.

Arnav looked at Khushi who is sleeping peacefully, placing her hand over her stomach as if protecting the baby. He kissed her forehead lightly and went out
He knocked on Arvind's room.

"Beta...what happened??? Is Khushi bitiya ok???" Arvind asked seeing his son in front of his door step at midnight.

"I want to talk to you now papa." A distressed Arnav said to his father.
Arvind saw the tension shadowing on Arnav's face.

"Is Khushi bitiya sleeping???" Arvind asked.

"Yes..."

"Come on let's talk in the guestroom... So that we can keep an eye on her." They went to the guestroom. Arnav made arrangements so that he can see Khushi who is sleeping on the bed.

"What is it beta...? Tell me" Arvind asked taking his son's hand in his small hands.
Arnav told him what happened earlier.

"Papa...I can't imagine a life without her... I'm scared right now..." He choked on his words

"Nothing is going to happen with her beta..."

"I'm trying to convince myself that everything will be ok, but if something happen to her...I will go mad... I don't know what to do..." He said placing his head on Arvind's lap. Arvind stroked his son's hair.

"Nothing will go wrong beta... Your love won't let anything happen to her...and Pray...pray to god to keep her safe...Don't let this fear to destroy both of ur happiness... Welcoming a baby is one of the most beautiful moment in life. Cherish it beta. Now you go and sleep....." Arvind advised him.

Arvind was about to get up when Arnav held his hand.

"Papa... Now I can understand how you felt when you lose maa all of a sudden... You are strong papa...very strong." Arnav told his father.

"It was very painful beta...but you lessened it... It was because of you I didnt crumbled....Ratna wasn't with us physical, but I still feel her presence... I know that she is watching over us and she won't let her son go through the same pain her husband went through... Don't worry beta, everything will be fine." Arvind hugged Arnav and patted his shoulder.

Arnav came back to the room and laid down next to her. He wrapped his arm around her and kissed her forehead.

"Maa.... I know that you can see me... I want her in my life... Don't let anything to take her away from me...

Arnav said looking at the star shining brightly in the sky.

Khushi and Arnav went to their last scanning when she a week prior to her due date.

"Mr and Mrs Raizada... I want to talk to you urgently." The doctor said to both of them.

"What is it doctor? Is it everything ok"?

"There is not much to worry. The thing is, the umbilical cord got wrapped around your baby's neck... So we should carry out a c - session as soon as possible. There is no need to panic in it, it is quite normal in pregnancies." Doctor told Arshi which left them terrified.

Arnav hide his fear for her and said.

"Ok doctor...do the preparations."

Khushi too nodded her head and looked at him. Arnav called others and let them know about the situation.

The nurse came asked them to follow her to change the dress. Khushi changed into the hospital gown. She held his hand in her hand.

"Arnav...I'm afraid...Our baby will be fine na??" She asked him.

"Yes...both of you are going to be fine." Arnav said kissing her forehead.

"Arnav promise me that you will chose our baby if you have to chose between us...."

"There is not need for such promise baby, both of you will be ok."

"Promise me Arnav... please...." Khushi asked him with tears which undone his heart.

"Ok, I promise... I promise that I will chose our baby..." He choked his sentence and continued.
"Baby... If anything goes wrong.... Fight against it... Come back to me and our baby...we will be waiting for you...promise me that you will do it for us..."

"I promise you Arnav ...I will do everything to come back with you...."

Within an hour...everybody came to the hospital. Arnav got changed into theatre dress.

"I will be back soon with our bundle of joy..." Khushi said through her teary smile while they rolled her into the theatre. She looked around the room and clenched his hand hard...

"I'm scared Arnav.... Be with me..." Khushi said while tears flows from her eyes  Arnav squeezed her hand lightly.

"Everything will be ok baby...Just relax." Saying this he kissed her forehead.

Khushi saw the doctor entering into the theatre.

"Arnav. ..I love you... I love you a lot..."

"I love you too... Khushi... Soon we will be with our baby."

They put the oxygen mask on her and gave her the injection. Whenever they did something to her she held his hand tighter. Khushi felt sleepy due to anaesthesia... She looked at Arnav and gave him a smile before closing her eyes... A tear rolled down from his eyes as he saw her eyes getting closed...he hoped...prayed that his Khushi would open her eyes again... To see their baby... To live a life with them...Arnav kept looking at Khushi when he saw the doc taking the surgerical knife.

He closed his eyes as he can't withstand the sight of operating her. After a few minutes he saw them pulling out the baby carefully...the doctor carefully unwind the umbilical cord which was around the neck of the baby. The doctor held the baby higher and soon the room got filled with a loud cry.

"Its a baby boy Mr.Raizada." Arnav smiled seeing the baby....

"She is having a haemorrhage...." One of the nurse said suddenly. Soon there were commotions around the room.

"What is happening here???" Arnav asked seeing everything and a nurse asked him to go out....

"No..it is regarding my wife."

"Sir...let the doctor do their work....your wife is having a hemorrhage..." They pushed Arnav out of the theatre. The Raizadas and Guptas saw this and moved near to Arnav.

"Beta...what happened???" Arvind asked his son.

"Papa...she is bleeding..." Arnav said running his hands through his hairs....

"Nothing will happen to her beta...she is a strong woman..." Arvind tried to assure him.

"Beta...come..." Shashi made him sit on the chair besides her and held his hand....

"She will be back with us beta...don't worry."

Everybody prayed for her. The nurse called them out and Arnav rushed near to them.

"How is my wife??? Is she...." His words got cut short as he saw the nurse forwarded a small bundle to him. Arnav held his hand out and took the baby in his arms. A drop of tear fell on the baby's hand from his eyes. He smiled seeing the baby which is the symbol of their love.

Everybody moved near to him and got a glimpse of the baby in Arnav's hand.
He walked towards his father and kneel down. He showed his baby to Arvind.

" Your grandson papa." Arnav said which brought tears in Arvind's eyes. Arvind touched the baby's hand and looked at the baby. Arnav placed the baby in his father's hand.

They all got to see the baby who had a mixed complexion. The nurse came and took the baby for other checkups.Arvind prayed to god ...to spare Khushi's life in exchange of his life... Arnav sat on the chair remembering the moments he spend with Khushi....

The doc came out of the theatre after sometime. They all looked at the doctor with hope for a positive result, but it wasn't the one they were expecting.

It is one of my favourite movie. I would recommend others to watch it.
The things is, anybody want to see ASR in such an avatar, a lit bit of Arjun Reddy (not the fully adaptation of Arjun Reddy)?
