HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS

Khushi came back from the hospital. Arnav hugged her as soon as she stepped into their room.

"How are you Khushi???" He asked hugging her tight while his heart danced with joy.

"I'm good and you came earlier?" Khushi asked him not knowing that he had seen the pregnancy test stick.

"Why didnt you tell me....?"

"Tell you what?" She asked with confusion.

"That you are pregnant. We are going to have a baby Khushi. I will be with you in this phase...." He told her cupping her face.

'How did he came to know about it???' She thought. She remembered placing that stick on the washroom slab.

"Arnav...." She looked at him but find him kneeling down...and raising her top.

'Arnav...I'm not pregnant."

"What???" Arnav looked up at her face with dilemma.

"Get up Arnav.." Khushi made him stand in front of her.

"What about the stick baby?" He enquired her

"It showed the wrong result... I went to see a doctor and I found out that I'm not pregnant." The disappointment was evident in her voice

"Ohhh... that's ok..." For a moment he don't know what to tell her.

"How do you feel Arnav???" Khushi asked him.

"Even though we decided to wait for a few years...when I got to know that you were pregnant.... I was happy... To become a father...to have a baby with u...at the same time sad that you have to face this now...when you should have concentrated on your career...Now I have a mixed feeling. I'm happy that you can concentrate on your career now and disappointed about not having a baby..." He said wrapping his one hand around her waist and taking her other hand in his hand.

"You know when our time comes devimaiyya will send the baby to us.... It might not be the right time."

"You devi maiyya will send our baby in two pieces...we have to join that,don't we?" He asked trying to lift up the mood.

"You are such a shameless man."

"I know that. I'm telling you baby, we have to practice a lot of baby making." He teased her.

"As if you don't practice enough." Khushi told him as she pulled her closer to his body.

"Yeah, we do practice a lot." Saying this he placed his lips on her sweet petals, pouring out his love for her.

At night...

"Baby...I have to go to Lucknow for two days...."

"Ohhh...when will you leave?"

"Day after tomorrow."

"Should I pack your luggage...?"

"No....I will do that tomorrow."

That night Khushi had a nightmare and screamed

"Baby what is it...???" Khushi couldnt give any answer to his question and cried hugging him.

"You were lying on the floor...there were blood everywhere... Then I saw you walking away from me....with a lady....
I tried to call you but you didn't... you kept on walking... And that lady turned around, it was ur mom...she was sad...said sorry to me. Arnav...please don't go to Lucknow... I'm scared... I can't loss you." She cupping his face in her hand.

"Baby.... it's just a nightmare... Don't think too much..."

"Please arnav... Don't go.... If you want to go then I will also come with you. You won't understand what I felt when i saw all that.... Can you tolerate if something happen to me???"

"Shhhh....I got it... Calm down baby. I will try to think about a solution. Don't panic now. Come on, let's sleep now."

After a few minutes.....

"Baby... You are turning and tossing... Couldnt sleep???

"No... Whenever I close my eyes...that images haunts me..."

"Then don't think about them.... Think about us... Our good moments...."

Khushi looked at Arnav and kissed him....
"I want you arnav... I need you...." She roamed her hands on his chest. Soon they were conveying their love for each other in every possible way.

Next day, Arnav told Khushi that he is not going for the meeting, Aman will be attending it on behalf of him.

After a week....

Arnav called Arvind and Khushi to his study room....

"I want to tell you both something....Papa...I know that you went to see manohar malik after NK's engagement... Right now I'm not in a mood to argue about that. Ok, a few days after that I came to know that manohar is trying to sell of his company and I brought that company for NK. I want to gift it to NK and Lavanya.

"That's why you wanted to go to Lucknow?" Khushi asked him

"Yes...."

"Does Manohar know that you brought the company?"

"Yes....he came to know that after I brought it.... He got angry when he came to know that. He screamed at my team and tried to make a fuss out of it. Whatever it is I don't care about him... I think we should give this to NK and Lavanya."

"Yes...beta...we should..."

That day they gave the company to NK, but he was adamant to accept it.

"NK... you can change the name of the company to whatever you want..." Arnav tried to convince him.

"Beta... You can do this... You have a family to look after... It will let you to secure their life..." Arvind tried to make NK agree.

"NK...you have the potential to make this company a success..."

"Nannav...papa...I already ask you guys not to transfer anything to me."

"We didn't transfer anything from us...this belongs to you...it is yours...it was not Manohar Malik's..it was your forefathers hardwork." Arvind told NK and after a lot of argument NK decided to accept it on the condition that Arnav will be his mentor. Arnav agreed to it instantly.

"Nannav...I don't want to go back to Lucknow..."

"You can set up a brach here NK..." Arnav helped NK to find a place for his company.

Few days later....

NK and Lavanya went for scanning. Arshi were on their way to work and on their way they went to the hospital to give NK his lunch....

"How is everything Lavanya...?" Khushi asked Lavanya who sat on the chair after the scan.

"Both of us are fine bhabhi."

NK got a call from the broker who is trying to find a place for his office. The broker asked him to meet him as soon as possible.

"NK...you go and drop Khushi on ur way...I will take Lavanya to home."

"Bhai...its ok...I will call a cab..." Lavanya told Arnav not wanting to disturb him.

"No...lavanya...I will take you home...I'm the boss and I can be a lit late..."

They went to opposite directions after that.

"Are you comfortable enough Lavanya?"

"Yes Bhai..." Saying this Lavanya leaned back on to the seat.

Arnav felt something fishy....

"Are you ok Bhai???"

"No.... Don't panic lavanya... Our brake is broken..." He told her realising the truth.

"What are we going to do????"

"Lavanya, strap your seatbelt tight...and lower this seat....take that small pillow and place it on your stomach...."

"Bhai...what are we going to do...."?

"Call NK and tell him to reach the xyz hospital soon."

Meanwhile Arnav dialed the ambulance service telling them that an accident happened in xyz street. He turn the car targeting a tree and the car hit on to tree while both of them blank out.

When NK and Khushi reached the hospital, they saw the nurses wheeling Lavanya to the emergency room. Khushi asked them about Arnav and they informed her that he is taken to the ICU....

Khushi went there and saw Arnav lying on the bed with wires around him. Tears rolled down from her eyes as she saw the bruises on his body. She kneel down and cried hard.

NK informed Shashi about the accident and he rushed to the hospital with Khush. When Khushi saw her father she hugged him and cried out. Lavanya got unconscious because of shock, nothing much happened to her. She woke up after a few hours. She told him what happened to them.

Arnav had head injury and broken arms.

"Mr. Raizada condition is not stable and it don't look like an accident... Its like somebody attacked him." The doctor informed NK and Shashi.

NK was in a dilemma to inform it to Arvind or not. Shashi told him to inform him as he have the right to know about his son. They can't hide it for long from Arvind.

"I will go and bring them here..." Said Khush...

"Beta... Are you sure???"

"Ji papa... Trust me...." Saying this Khush went to Shantivan to pick up Arvind.

Lavanya was advised to stay in hospital.
After a few minutes, Khush came there with Arvind and Prakash.

Khushi cried seeing Arvind and hugged him.

"Shh...bitiya.. Why are you crying??? Our Arnav will be ok...trust me... God can't take away him from us... He already took my Ratna and he won't dare to take away my beta from me." Tears slipped from his eyes as he consoled Khushi.

"Arvindji...nothing will happen to Arnav...he is a fighter... He will come back to us...." Shashi tried to assure Arvind.

"I know that shashiji... He will..."

Khushi, Shashi, Garima and NK stayed back in the hospital while others went to Gupta house.

Next day, Arnav is not responding to the medicines. Whenever she saw the doctors, she hoped for a positive response from him. She prayed to let her Arnav come back to her. Khushi went to the room and sat next to him holding his hand.

Meanwhile in another place,

He smelt the fragrance of sandalwood and slowly opened his eyes

He saw a lady walking in front of him... She was wearing a yellow saree with red little flowers. He looked around and find the white plain surroundings....

"Excuse me ma'am...can you tell me where am I? Arnav asked the lady and she turned around.

Both of them got shocked seeing each of other.

"Beta...why are you here????" Ratna asked Arnav as she rushed towards her son.

"Maa... that means...I...." Arnav choked his words as he looked at his body and his surrounding grasping the situation.

"You don't belong here Arnav... You don't..." Said Ratna cupping his face.

"Why is he testing us...? Your god....first he took you from us... Now I'm here. Why???" Arnav asked her as tears fell down from his eyes thinking about his family.

"That's something I couldn't find answer till now."

"Do you know how much papa suffered when you left us..."

"Don't tell me that I left both of you...I don't want to leave you both...even though you didn't see me....I was there watching over both of you... Sometimes I yearned to hug both of you, but I couldn't. I wished to answer Arvind's questions...I was there with Arvind when you went for studies....I was happy seeing you taking care of Arvind... Even when I'm not there....I was happy that I left you for him. Then my daughter in law...she loves you a lot... You won't find any other girl like her... NK is what Arvind and you missed in life... Your bro...another son for Arvind...I love your new family and I wish I could be a part of it.... I don't want you here Arnav, you should be with them." Ratna said with tear filled eyes.

"Maa... I want to go from here... I cant be here... you know the pain which will inflicted on them...on me if I stay here."

Ratna hugged Arnav tight.
"I love you beta...I'm happy to see you like this...you are a successful man now....I wish we could be a part of your family....We are sorry Arnav..." Ratna said placing her hand on her stomach and looking at it and vanished

"Maa....maa...." Arnav ran around to find Ratna. He found a light in the corner and started running towards it.

Its been four days since Arnav slipped into coma....They used to talk with Arnav....telling him to come back.

Meanwhile Arnav ran towards the light which was calling him. He reached there and fell down....it was like jumping from a mountain top. He screamed loudly and felt weightless.

On the second day itself they discharged Lavanya and Shashi told them that it is better if Lavanya stay with Garima....

Khushi was a living corpse.... Half dead in fact.... She can't accept the reality... She became silent and cried spontaneously as she recalled the time they spend together.

Arvind was trying to cope up... NK was there to reassure him that Arnav will be back.

Arvind tried to stay strong for Khushi... He know what she is going through. When he lost Ratna, he had Arnav which distracted him from the pain of losing her, but his son and Khushi only started their life. They have hopes for their future. Everybody was so sad seeing Khushi like that.

Khushi was sitting next to Arnav...talking to him..asking him to come back....She rested her head on the bed side....holding his hand... Her tears made his hand wet....

Slowly she slipped into sleep... Suddenly she felt someone grasping her hand tight and squeezing it. She looked and found him grasping her hands. Suddenly he took a loud breathe raising his torso off the bed. She pressed the emergency button to call the medical assistant. Arnav breathed and slowly opened his eyes.

The nurse and doc came rushing into the room. Arnav smiled at Khushi making her smile as her eyes teared up. The doc asked her to stay outside while they check his vitals.

They all saw Khushi coming out of the room with a smile on her face... She rushed towards Arvind and hugged him

"He is back papa...my Arnav is back...he opened his eyes...he smiled at me..." Everybody become happy as they got the news.

They waited for the doc to come back from the room.

"Mr Raizada is stable now...and responding to our medicines... you can see him when he is awake...he is sleeping due to the medicines. You can see him when he wake up."

Arnav asked for Khushi and Arvind when he woke up from the sleep.

Arvind send Khushi first to see Arnav. On seeing him, Khushi started to cry.

"Baby...don't cry...I'm here now..."

"I was sooo afraid Arnav... I don't have the strength to loss you...."

"Shh...baby... Don't...how is Lavanya...is she ok?"

"Yeah she is fine...." Khushi said kissing his hand.

"How are feeling now?" Khushi asked after pausing for a moment.

"It may sound cheesy, I'm ok because my lady is here with me." He said giving her a smile.

"I missed all these cheesiness hubby, I'm thankful to God that your are here." She said wiping away her tears.

"Don't cry baby, we are going to be ok." He lightly squeezed her hand while she nodded her head.

"Arnav...who attacked you?" Khushi asked after a few seconds.

"I don't know...I fought with them and they knock me down...somebody came that way at that time and they went from there."

"I love you a lot Arnav...I missed you so much."

"I love you too Khushi..."

Then Arvind went to see Arnav. On seeing his father Arnav remembered about the vision he had.

"Papa....I saw maa when I was in coma... She was wearing a yellow saree with red small designs on it....and when she was around there was sandalwood fragrance everywhere." Arnav described to Arvind which left him speechless.

"Ratna had this sandalwood fragrance... And the saree...from its description, it seems tht it was the last saree she worn...when she was in the accident. What did she tell you?"

"I don't remember muc... She likes our new family... She said sorry. Papa...when she said sorry...she said they were sorry... And her hand was on her stomach. Was she pregnant...when she...." Arnav tried ask Arvind about his unborn sibling.

"Yes...your maa was 3 week pregnant at that time....."

"Papa..you never told me this..."

"I never wanted you to know about it... I don't want to make you sad...."

"Wasn't that an imagination???"

"I don't know beta....I don't knw"

"Khushi dreamt of this last week, because of that she didn't let me go to Lucknow, but..."

"She was a half dead when you were in coma.... That girl out there loves you madly... Treasure her...and cherish her..."

"I know papa.... How are you???"

"I'm happy to see you beta... I knew that god won't snatch you away from us...as he already took Ratna from us... I would have crumbled down if NK wasn't there.
I think you are here because of the sacrifice you chose to make and the love Khushi have for you... You was ready to sacrifices your life for the sake of Lavanya and her baby. May be that why you are here..."

"If that is the case...maa to scarified her life for me...you also loved her unconditionally... They why she is not with us now?" Arnav asked Arvind to which he didnt had any answers.

"It's ok Papa... Stop thinking so much... I'm here..we're all fine..." Arvind went from there

NK and Shashi went to see him

"Nannav.... Whh did you do that...? You put yourself in danger???"

"Ohhh my stupid NK... that's what good brother and taauji's(father's elder brother) do...."

"You scared us a lot...."

"Thanks a lot NK...for being the pillar for papa... For looking after him."

"Stupid Nannav... that's what good son and brother does... Take care of their family...."

Now it's Shashi's turn to see him.

'I know papa...I scared you all..." Arnav told him

"How are you beta?"

"Don't feel good to be here... Have some mild pain here and there" Arnav told his father in law.

"I have never seen my Khushi like this... She was a strong girl and seeing you like this made her shattered..."

"I know uncle... I'm sorry for putting her through this... I won't let any harm come in her way..."

Arnav was shifted to a room after 2 days
Lavanya...garima...nani..others came to see him

He got discharged after a week
Renjini...Nana...nani stayed with them to look after lavanya as the due date was near

Khushi kept herself busy with Arnav...taking care of him... Going to work when it is very necessary. She was getting paranoid.... Always making sure that he is ok and comfortable.
She started to stay awake during nights and just stare at him. She feared that if she close her eyes something will happen to him.

Arnav did noticed all these.

"Khushi... I'm ok...trust me...Now sleep..."

"You sleep Arnav... I will just look after you."

"Baby... I'm ok... Come here" saying this he pulled her to his lap...

"Arnav you are not ok."

"I'm ok baby, but I don't think you are ok... Khushi I know that you are shaken with this accident... you can't constantly live in fear thinking that something will happened to me."

"I can't Arnav...when I close my eyes... Those images came to my eyes... you in the hospital... Wires and everything attached to your body.... I feel like if I close my eyes... Something will happen to you..."

"You need help Khushi... To over come this fear... Can you do something for me? Can you?" He asked her.

"I'm ready to anything for you Arnav." She said placing her face on his chest.

Next day Arshi went to see a psychologist names Dr Hemlata Naikar.

Arshi talked with the doc....khushi told her what is her problem..what she feels. After talking to Khushi they came to an conclusion which they didn't tell her

The doc called Arnav and told him that Khushi is suffering from PTSD.... Post traumatic stress disorder. The doc advised him what to do....

Only he can help her with this...as her fear is related to him....

2 weeks later Lavanya went into labour
And gave birth to a baby girl. Khushi stayed home with Arnav. Arshi went to see the baby on the next day.

After a few days.... Lavanya got discharged and they came back to RM

Khushi had counselling classes every week which brought changes in her. Arnav too tried his best to help Khushi.

Lavanya and NK named the baby as Navya

Police caught the persons who tried to harm Arnav. They confessed that they got money from a person for doing that. He only have the number of that person with them. They probed into it and find out that Manohar did it.

When NK came to know about it he really felt like killing Manohar with his bare hand. NK went to police station to see his so called father.

"Why did you do that ??? Why are you trying to destroy my happiness?"

"I'm not destroying your happiness. I want that good for nothing 4 inch man to feel the same pain...he took away my son from me."

"I hate you....I hate you very much....you know what you are a failure... A great failure...."

"No... I'm not a failure."

"Then what do you have....? You lost everything in your life... Nobody wants you.... Let me tell you this, I'm Nandkishore Raizada, proud son of Arvind Singh Raizada. For me you are no one." saying this NK left from there

Few days later they got to know that Manohar committed suicide in the jail.
NK don't want to go for the funeral and do the rituals for him. Arvind insisted him to doing the last rituals and NK plainly refused it. Akash did the last rituals when NK refused to do so.

After a month... Arnav got ridden of the plaster. He made love to her, conveying his love for her and making her forgot about the fears.

Days passed by,
Navya is two month old. NK want to take lavanya out for a day. Arshi agreed to take care of navya baby...

"Bhabi.... Call us if she cries a lot...."

"Don't worry lavanya....Navu baby loves the company of her taiji and tauji...isn't it???" Khushi kissed navya's chubby cheeks.

"NK...we will take care of her... You guys should leave now."

In arshi's room

They were pampering navya, who is busy in sucking the milk from the bottle.

"She is sooo cute...." Arnav said touching her cheek

"Yeah...she is..."

"Arnav...I think she had her fill... Let me burp her..." Navya let out a loud burp.

"Baby... you go and change your dress...I will take care of her..."

When Khushi came back she saw arnav making Navya sleep...she is lying on his shoulder...with closed eyes while he lightly patted her back. Khushi stood there watching the scene.

"You will be a good father...." Khushi said standing next to Arnav....

"And you will be a good mother too..."

"Hopefully... Hmm...I will make the bed for her...." Khushi arranged the bed for the baby and they laid her in between them.

At midnight the baby started crying.... Khushi checked her diaper and found out that it is soiled...They changed her diaper. That was the first time Arnav done that, he have seen that from far.

"Uff....she only had some milk and this happens...." Arnav rolled his eyes as he took away the soiled diaper

"You were also a baby once...." Khushi teased him

"Yeah....I know....still...."

"Wait till we have a baby... you will be in charge of changing the diapers." Khushi said wiping Navya's back.

"Then I think I should get some practice...."

After the diaper change, Navya was feeling hungry again....

"Arnav...let me go and prepare some milk for her...."

"We will also come with you...should we go with your taiji munchkin???" Arnav asked Navya who was giving him toothless smile.

"See....she agreed...so let's go...."

Khushi prepared the milk while navya played with Arnav... Touching his hair...looking around...sucking her finger and all. They fed her milk and made her sleep. Arshi had a good time with navya...

Meanwhile in the farmhouse, NK and lavanya had a cozy dinner.... Talked about their life... Their hopes...future etc. They took their relationship to the next level.

Seasons passed by.

Khushi recovered from her condition. She still fears when Arnav came late.
NK shifted the business to Delhi. Khushi started a small branch in another area while Arnav too established his first overseas branch in London. Lavanya joined college to complete her post graduation which she dropped mid way.

Arvind and Prakash looked after Navya when Lavanya went to college. NK and Arnav suggested appointing a nanny, but Prakash and Arvind were adamant that they were look after Navya.

Akash and Payal got married one month prior to Arshi's first wedding anniversary. They celebrated their first anniversary with their family and friends. Arnav established a trust in Ratna's name which started working in the land given by Ratna's father. They provided employment to single parents and disabled people. In addition to that they provided education to specially abled children. Arshi and NK funded the trust.

6 months after Arshi's anniversary, the whole family went for a vacation. The youngsters and others took a lot of time to decide a perfect place. The Raizadas, Guptas, Singhanias, Maliks, Jhas and Prakash went to Seychelles for a week.

Arnav rented out a chain of cottages
Couples got their own room. Arvind, Prakash and Khushi shared a room while
Nandini Gupta stayed with Shashi and Garima. Nana and Nani shared room with Renjini.

Prakash was happy seeing his daughter having a happy life. Navya was the center of attraction. The youngsters went for swimming and all while other stayed in the beach enjoying view.

Navya is fond of her Khush mamu and played with him.

They went to Curieuse Island ....

Got up close and personal with some of the biggest tortoises on the planet.

For everyone it was such an experience.

Went to a tea factory in mahe

The glass bottom boat ride was brilliant...

They went to Seychelles natural history museum

The museum is a Home to an impressive collection of shells, corals and coco de mer, one extraordinary display being the Giant clam shell from Aldabra. The museum is housed in the Carnegie building which dates back to the 1920s.

They tried adventurous sports while the elder people watched their children having fun. Renjini and Garima were reluctant for snorkeling, but agreed to join them on their request.

Horse rides were available....

The couples had horse ride beside the shore.

Sauzier waterfall... Only couples went there and got little naughty....

They all had a big family dinner near to the beach as they celebrated Garima and Shashi's 30th wedding anniversary.

Couples had small dinner date together while Renjini and others looked after Navya.

Arshi teased each other whenever they get time. They made love on every places in their cottage.

Khushi, Lavanya, Payal and Anjali insisted that everyone should wear beach dress for their family photoshoot.
NK...Shyam...arnav..and Akash are not ready to wear the floral dress.

Shashi, Arvind, Prakash and Dada did it for their daughters even though it is such a crazy idea.

Khush tried to convince the ladies to let him wear something else, but nothing worked. He went to Arnav as he is his last resort.

"Jeeju...can't you save me from this???" Khush asked showing him the floral shirt.

"Khush, if I could save you from this...I would have done that for myself...." Saying this Arnav hold the floral shirt Khushi gave him towards Khush.

"See this is the shirt my crazy wife choose for me..." Arnav complained looking at the dress.

"NK jeeju...what about you???"

NK showed him his shirt in reply.

Khush looked at Akash and he too held out the shirt. He got the same reaction from Shyam too.

Rolling his eyes at the four husbands standing in front of him, Khush took his shirt.

"I got it now....I'm not going to get married at all..." Saying this he walked away with a irritated expression while the men looked at each other and then to the floral printed shirts.

Navya baby

They all stood for taking the photo and Arnav whispered into her ear.

"Baby...keep this dress with you...I would like to see you in this personally." Khushi blushed at his comment.

After this crazy photoshoot, they had a photoshoot with normal dress on.

That night Arnav didn't let her sleep at all. Same goes with the other 3 couples.

Next day they all came back home. Arshi gifted everyone copy of family pics...one in normal dress and other in floral one.

Days passed
Lavanya and Khushi completed their studies...

One day, arnav's PA informed him that his brother in law is there to see him. Arnav went to see Khush not knowing why he is here all of a sudden.

"Khush...what happened? Why are you here??" Arnav asked Khush who is sitting in his cabin.

"Jeeju...I want to talk to you..."

"What is it Khush..? You seems nervous???"

"Jeeju... You know about Jasmine..."

"Yup...your bestfriend."

"Jeeju....I love her....and our college will be over soon...so I'm thinking about confessing it to her."

"You love her??? From when???"

"I don't know when...but I missed her so much when we were in Seychelles and later I realised that I loves her."

"Its been an year since we went to Seychelles... Till now you didn't tell her." Arnav asked him.

"I was afraid jeeju.... What if she don't see me like that....I will lose her friendship and I don't want that."

"So what happened now?"

"Because our college is getting over and I think I have to do this...."

"So what do I have to do?" Arnav asked him.

"How should I do this??? What if she reject me??? What if I present it in a wrong way and mess up everything." Khush asked feeling nervous making Arnav smile. He held Khush's hand and looked into her eyes.

"Khush... Just go to her...tell what is in your heart...trust me... When the moment comes you will know what to say to her. Hmm...in case if she reject you... Try to find out the reason... Then decide what you want to do...leave her or keep on trying. You can do this Khush.... Have trust in yourself...." As he finished his sentence Khush hugged Arnav tightly.

"So should I tell your di about it???" Arnav asked Khush.

"No...she know that Jasmine is my friend... I will tell her myself later." Saying this Khush went from there.

After a few weeks

Arnav was in a meeting when he got a call from his assistant saying that Khush is waiting for him. Arnav told that he will be there shortly.

Arnav entered into his cabin and found Khush whose eyes were filled with tears.

Khush was shocked to see Jasmine after a long time. He remembered what happened on that day when he confessed his love.
