The girls were cooing. The boys around were smirking but some were smiling. I looked around to see Haze smiling. I watched Julian looking at her and smiling. He suddenly looked at me. I smiled at him and he smiled back then continued watching Haze. I looked at James rolling his eyes and smiling. He has a dimple you know. I love dimples. Jasmine and Kace were cheering with boys. Jasmine looked at Koaka for a second before she suddenly looked back. Kace was being all shy type by looking at James flirting with Koaka and Jasmine was looking all around avoiding that part. Oh! That's why Jasmine looked back. Hehe.

Koaka smiled at me and nodded. I nodded back at him and looked at Aaron. He was patiently looking at me. Waiting. I wonder if he would still wait for me even if I say no?

I mean all the people I had loved had left me all alone. When I was small, my parents left me and put me in an orphanage. He was there and abused me verbally. Sisters in the house were so bad to me. Brothers? They all had used me.

"Coaca?" Aaron asked. A simple one word question.

"Yes" I looked at him.

"Do you?"

I smiled taking his hands and lead him to my house.

Yes. I call Koaka's parents house mine too cause the only thing they have told me was to call the house mine. But not them.

"Where are we going?" Aaron asked.

"We are walking. Tell the guys to meet us in my house in two hours and to bring our vehicles." I said.

He nodded and went inside to say that.

I watched his retreating figure. He is nice. He is so good. He is...so so good. Does he really mean that? Does he really want me as the girl to be his partner in crime forever? Why am I questioning myself again?

"Let's walk." He said.

I took his left hand and said, "together"

He grinned showing his dimples and we started to walk.

"So..." He started.

"Mmm.." I hummed him to continue.

"You haven't answered my question yet."

"Haven't I?" I asked him back.

"You have. But I want to hear it from your lips using your beautiful voice." He said.

I stayed quiet and walked.

"I do." I replied to him after five minutes of contemplating to run away from here. Every time a problem arises, I run away. Koaka knows this and am pretty sure that's the first thing he had said to all the people the first time he had introduced me to them.

"Tell me honestly. Were you planning to run away, Coaca?" Aaron asked.

I looked down a little and then looked at him.

"That's why I took your hand. So you could stop me." I replied instead.

He took a deep breath and said, "Thank you."

I tilted my head and asked him, "For what?"

"For being my best partner in crime, forever."

"We have just started." I said.

"Yes, but you agreed. Which is more important to me." He said back.

Why is he so good?

"Why are you smiling?" He asked again.

"Why are you so sweet?" I asked him back.

"Only for you." He replied.

We reached my house and saw the lights on. That's strange. Usually, they are never home. I went inside and called Aaron in.

I saw two shadows in the living room and two in the kitchen. Trying to avoid these people, we started to move towards my room but she called me.
