To be honest, I don't know how I even noticed Hal, he was sort of the 'guy in the back'.
My favourite character was Batman from the Justice league. And then Jason Todd from all DC.
Later, for a short period of time, I actually shifted to Marvel. I still love the Avengers, but the X-MEN? Not so much.
I went back to watching DC, and I noticed Aquaman. I though he was pretty cool. He controlled 70% of the whole earth! How is that not powerful? My love for him increased when I saw the animated movie "Flashpoint Paradox". He was so epic!
I noticed Green Lantern was really close friends with Barry/The Flash. He wasn't willing to leave him behind. Eventually he was coaxed by Batman, but still. Then I watched JL:War. And I don't know how to say this, I fell in love with Hal. His jokes, bad humour, and his hatred for batman. I could tell he low-key liked the guy, but still he was hilarious 😂
So goddamn funny. And I did my research about his past, how his father died, and his mother disowned him for becoming a pilot. Yeah, rough childhood. Then I saw how Batman actually does care for this guy, and I was like "Yup, my baby." 😂
My brother thought I was stupid, 'cause he thought I should prefer superman. I agree, I should, but I don't. I joined on here as a Jason Todd anon, and currently have 500+ followers on it. So I made this account, along with Doctor Strange, and Batman Beyond. This account has had the most attention. I now understand why.
There was only one other Hal Jordan account, which is now inactive! Only one? Seriously!
But yeah, he's under appreciated just because of one movie.
That's why I don't keep Ryan Reynolds as my only FC, I put others too. To show that there is more to Hal than a crappy movie.
