{Hal's Insanity?}
There is parents were, cheering for him as he won the race almost two metres ahead of the fastest kid in class, Barry.
Weird. How'd I get here?
He thought looking around, but before getting a chance to leave, he felt arms wrap around him. He spun fast, but froze when he saw his father's face staring back.
"What the hell?" He exclaimed in surprise.
"Language, son. I've always told you." His father answered sternly "Now let's go home. I've got a big flight test tomorrow remember? You'll be there to see it." He grinned ear to ear, ruffling Hal's hair.
"No! Y-you can't go, dad! It's going to fail! The test is a fail." He yelled as loudly as he could manage, but his parents starting fading away.
"It'll be okay, Harold. We've got safety equipment and training y'know." His dad said softly before his parents vanished.
"I-it'll crash." Hal whimpered weakly, as he reached out to touch where they stood only minutes ago.
Instead, he touched flames. He saw the plane crash, and he willed his body to move, but it stayed frozen just as it originally had. He finally forced his legs to move, aware of the embarrassing tears he'd been shedding. He only froze again when he saw a corpse, freshly burnt in the pilot's spot. That's when his knees crumpled and he started to cry. Not the kind a child does when he wants a toy, but the kind a child does when he loses something dear to his heart.

Hal woke up roughly writhing against the blankets around him. He screamed as the memories of his parents flooded his young mind.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
It'll be okay son.
The last thing on his mind: "I'm going insane"
