Because the T+ part of LGBT+ is often less known and/or understood, we present to you the following contest in order to raise more awareness and knowledge about the people who identify under the T+ part of LGBT+.

Challenge

Write a story in anything less than 1,500 words that's about one or multiple aspects of the T+ part of LGBT+.
Your story can be in first person, third person, a narrative, a biography; however you see fit. You're here because you care about this community, however you identify. How you include the T+ aspect is up to you and everyone is welcome to participate!

Deadline

Stories must be submitted to Wattpad by Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:59pm EST.
Winners will be announced before the end of the year.

Submissions

Step 1. Tag your story on Wattpad with the following three tags: #LGBT #storiesforpride #WPContest
Step 2. Send us a PM with the link to your story so we know you've entered. We will reply stating that your entry was received.
Step 3. Optional, but we wish for everyone to share their entry here. Please post a link to your story in the comment section below.
Step 4. Optional, but we want the world to know your stories. Share a link to your story on Twitter or Facebook using the hashtags: #LGBT and #storiesforpride. Nominate a friend to read or write their own.

Rules

• Keep it short for this one, no more than 1,500 words
• Story must be about the T+ of LGBT+, which includes (but is not limited to) transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, aromantic, pansexual.
• Entries must be submitted on Wattpad and follow the submission guidelines outlined.
• Must be a new story (so written for this contest).
• One entry per writer.
• English language only.
• No mature content.

Prizes

The awesome winning stories will be:
• Featured in the Love Wins short story collection on the LGBT+ Wattpad profile.
• Broadcasted via Wattpad's Social Media.
• Included in a reading list on our profile.

Compelling, engaging, original works that help readers understand one or more aspects of the T+ of LGBT+ better. We also highly appreciate proper grammar.

• How many chapters should I write?
One, please.

• How many aspects of the T+ part of LGBT+ do I need to include in my story?
One or multiple, it's entirely up to you.

• I don't identify as LGBT+, can I still enter?
Everyone is free to enter our contest, no matter how they identify.
