'Sarah? I didn't know you were back from San Francisco.' James said.

'Still the same James Potter. Fuzzy and warm.' Sarah commented.

'If you are looking for Sirius, he isn't here.' James said.

'What if I told I was looking for you?' Sarah winked.

'I will tell you where Sirius is living, if you leave me alone.' James said.

'Tell me where Sirius is living, and a kiss for past memories and I will leave you alone.'

'So, whose party is this?' Dorcas asked.

'Dylan Starc.' said Remus.
They were in Sirius's recent car conquest- a brand new jet black Porsche 911, heading for the new year's party Dylan had invited them to.

Of course, an undetectable extension charm had been put over to accommodate the seven of them.

'Who is he?' Lily asked.
'Well, he's claims he's Luke's best friend.' Remus said.

'Will you stop with the suspicions? He's a great guy.'
'Quite the contrary. You know nothing about this guy.' Remus argued.

'Oh, come on Remus, don't spoil the mood.' James said.
'I am just being cautious.' Remus said.

'Don't be, then. Chill out. We are headed for a wild party. Believe me, you will be drunk in no time.' Sirius said.

'I think we reached the place.' Mary said.

Sirius slammed the brakes at an instant.
'Come on, guys. Let's have some fun before the year ends.' James grinned.

'No, I didn't sleep with you. I left before something like that happened because I couldn't do that to Sirius.' James said.

'You're talking about the night three years back.' Sarah said.

'When are you talking about?' James asked, nervously.
'Last night.' Sarah said, confirming his worst fears.

Remus couldn't hear anything over the loud music and the crowded dance floor.

He headed over to where the drinks where being served.

He bought a bottle of scotch, Sirius's favourite and chugged it down bit by bit.

'Want to get in the party mood, huh?' Lily asked slipping in beside him.

'Sure, you can call it that.'

'Black been influencing you much?' Lily asked.

'Lily, if you are here to give me some religious lecture on how to be sober, I don't want to hear it.'

'Nope, I just here because I am bored.'

'I figured you weren't the party type.' Remus grinned.

'I figured you weren't. But you changed.'

Remus didn't reply to that.
'Then what are you doing here? Trying to make me feel bad for nothing?'

'Come on, don't take this emotionally. I take it back, okay?'

'Okay.' Remus shrugged. 'You want to dance?' Remus asked.

'I thought you hated dancing.' Lily said.

'I am fine for just this one dance.' Remus smiled.

'Hey, you seem like you need a kiss.' Sarah said.

'Sarah, what the hell are you doing here?'

'Crashing a party, I hope.' Sarah said.

'Just back off. I am here with Marlene.'

'Relax, I am not here to steal you. I mean I could, if you wanted to be stolen—'

Sirius just walked away ignoring her.

'Wait up.' She said. 'Look, I just want to have a good time. Same as you.'

'Have it with someone else.' Sirius said.

'Sirius, it's been three years. Are you still hung up over those two weeks?'

'Look who's talking. You shut me out, completely without an explanation. And you end up at my doorstep three years later to tell me that you don't owe me an explanation.'

'You have some anger management problems. Maybe I should sign you up for some class?'

'Just leave me alone and I will be the happiest man alive.'

'Fine. Whatever. Merlin, you have become so arrogant. Times do change.' Sarah said.

'What's Sarah doing here?' Marlene asked.

'She must be crashing the party.' James said. 'That's always been her style.'

'So what's the deal with her?' Marlene asked.

'Well, it's hard to say. She cannot be trusted, though.'

'Am I just being jealous or is she trying to make a move on Sirius?' Marlene asked.

'With Sarah, you can never say. But you don't have to worry about Sirius. He's in love with you.' James said.

'He was in love with Sarah too.'

'That's a long time ago.'

'I know about you and Mary.' Lily said.

'What about me and Mary?' Remus asked.

'You don't have to pretend. Mary told me herself.'

'Well, then it's a good thing you don't drink or else you would just go blabbing about it to everyone.' Remus said.

'You mean you two are a thing? I knew it.'

'Yeah, Mary told you, remember.' Remus said uncertainly.

'No, she didn't. But I had my theories.'

'Wait, you mean you made me tell you? Damn it, lily.'

'I won't tell anyone, relax. Who else knows?'

'Sirius does. He caught us making out in the Hogwarts express.'

'I knew that's where she was.' Lily smirked.

'You are one sly minx, lily evans.'

'Thank you for that compliment.'

Lily did a twirl and her eyes fell upon someone she knew from the past.

'Isn't that Sarah Andrews?' Lily asked.

Remus looked, where lily was looking.

'Oh, yeah. She's trouble. Wonder when she got back from San Fransisco. Sirius never mentioned anything.' Remus said.

'What did she do?'

'Lot of things. Cheated on Sirius. Left Sirius. Made him a player. To name a few.'

'Woah, bet Marlene's over her head.'

'Where's Mary?' Remus asked.

'What's a girl like you doing standing alone?'

'If you are here to hit on me like the others, might as well stop.' Mary said.

'What gave it away?' He smirked. 'Kidding. I am not here to hit on you.'

'Then what are you doing here?'

'Well, just hanging out. It is my party, after all. Dylan Starc.' The guy introduced himself.

'Oh, so I finally meet the Dylan in person.'

'Relax, we will have time for autographs.' Dylan smirked.

James was kissing someone in his drunken haze.

He kicked open a door.

'You probably won't remember this in the morning.' She said.

'I can deal with that.' James said.
