'I heard you had a chat with Orion Black.' Mary said.

'How did you know that?' Remus asked.
'Sirius told you to talk to me, right?'

Mary shrugged. 'He's worried about you. So am I.'

'Well, you don't have to worry about me. Nothing's wrong.' Remus said.
'You sure you won't do anything crazy?' Mary asked.

'What are you talking about?' Remus asked.
'Remus, I know you. Just please promise me, you will be safe and not get into anything.'

'Mary, I am fine. I am okay.' Remus laughed it off.

'Promise me. You won't do anything risky. For me.'

'I can't promise you that. You mean to too much to me to make fake promises and you know that.'

'Show how much I mean to you. Don't do anything stupid.'

'Remus, I am worried about you.'

'You have nothing to worry about. The risks I take are mine. I will be fine.'

'Remus.'

'What's your problem? Nobody else is bothering me like this.'

'Maybe I care too much.' Mary said.

'Maybe that's not a good thing.' Remus said and walked away closing the door.

'James, look I am sorry. Can we move past this?' Sirius asked.

'You knew about my history with Evans. Yet you went to be all chummy with whichever jerk she's into now.'

'James, I don't think this is about me. It's about you not being able to get over Evans. You have Brenda, man and she is way better than lily ever was. Try to stay happy.' Sirius said.

'Brenda isn't an excuse to what you did. You violated one of the rules of our friendship. Hate all Evans's boyfriends and exes was a major one as far as I remember.'

'Ian wasn't half as bad as you make him to be.'

'Oh, Ian is it now? You are on Kerkovich's side? Leave me alone, Sirius. All you have been doing is causing me grief.'

'What?' Lily asked.

'Sirius. Why are you stealing him?'
'Stealing him? Do you hear yourself? I went on a double date with Marlene and her boyfriend.' Lily said.

'Stay away from my friend.'
'I am sorry. I didn't know you guys were in love or something. I will take care next time.'

'Why don't you stop being mean sometime?' James said.

'Why don't you stop being an asshole sometime?' Lily asked. 'Leave me alone.'

'I don't believe you. You always manage to make me look like the bad guy.' James said. 'Say Ian, I said Hello. Also tell him his girlfriend is an evil bitch.'

'Say Brenda, I said Hello. Also tell her, her boyfriend is still hung up over the girl he used to stalk his whole life.'

'I hate you.' James said.
'Courtesies returned graciously.' Lily smiled.

'James, you have to cool down.' Said Sirius.

'I am fine if you would just leave me alone.' Said James.

'Well, I won't until you stop behaving so immature.' Said sirius.

They were both neck to neck at that moment. Neither hesitant to start a fight.

'You are asking for a punch.' James said.
'Some people would just punch without making snide comments.' Sirius said.

Just as James aimed a punch, Sirius ducked.

The door opened and Mary came in.

'Mary?' Sirius asked.
'Is any thing wrong?' James asked.

'I tried to stop him from being stupid, Remus.' Mary said.

'What happened to Remus?' James asked, concerned.
'Mary tell us. Is he alright?' Sirius asked, nervously.

'I wouldn't be so sure considering he's in the Ministry waiting to be taken into Askaban.'

'We have information that, Remus Lupin is here.' Sirius said.

'He is in the waiting room, but no visitors are allowed.'

'Why are you holding him captive? He didn't do anything wrong.' Sirius argued,

'We can't reveal anything to the public but it is regarding the unsolved murder of fleamont potter.'

'I am his son. I deserve to know, what's going on.' James joined the conversation.

'I am sorry to hear your loss but you can't contact him before tomorrow afternoon. We have to look into the case carefully. If anything noteworthy is found, you will be informed Mr Potter.'

'I sure hope so.'

'Just eat the food. There's nothing we can do right now.' Sirius said.

'I feel so useless.' James said, shaking his head. 'What made Remus do such a thing?'

'Let's just attend our classes, then in the evening, you go back there and meet Remus and find out what he's on about.'

'Yeah. What about you?'
'I will meet up with you. I just need to make one trip to the devil's lair.'
