'No, you can't use the potions we store for emergency purposes.' Remus said sternly.

'Guys, it's the only way I can stop lily from dating this devil.' James explained.

'He's a great kid, James. Leave him alone.' Remus said.
'Fine.'
'Fine what?'

'You told remus you wouldn't use it? And yet here you are planning.' Sirius commented.

James and Sirius were sitting in their usual booth in the three broomsticks. James was taking sirius's help in coming up with the perfect plan.

'I would like to start with 'this is pointless' statement. We could just jinx the guy.'
'That way's lily know's it me.' James said.

'When's their next date?' Sirius asked.
'Tonight.'

'And how do you know this?'
'I am her damn stalker.' James said in a voice showing Sirius how dumb the question was.

'Fine, let's talk strategy.'

'Do you even know this guy's first name?' said Sirius.

'No. But I know he's in Ravenclaw. We can find his full name in the marauders map.'

'Okay, so to revise the plan once we find him, we have to isolate him and stun him. Then, alter his memory a bit. Steal a hair. Hide him. Use the Polyjuice to turn you into him. Then you go to the date and do something terrible so that she breaks up with you meaning Rogers. And then i plant that memory in Rogers so he would think he was the one who did the terrible thing.' Sirius said ending with a grin.

'Lets do this.' James smirked.

'Alright, here we go.' Sirius said. 'I told Peter to bring the map. He should be here any min- there he is.'

Peter handed the map to Sirius eating a bag of chocolate frogs.

Sirius spotted Rogers. Then he spotted Rogers again.

'James, we might have a problem here.' Sirius said.

'So what now? The plan is ruined because there are two Rogers?' James asked.

'James, we haven't even seen the guy face to face. You have only heard things. We would never be able to guess the correct guy.'

'We can. I have a plan.' James said.
'This is never going to end right.' Sirius sighed.

James had managed to shove the note in front of a boy who picked it up.

'I hope the boy gets it.'
'The library?' Sirius asked.

'Lily's generally is in the library but now the coast is clear. She is in her dorm.' James said.

'Did you have to put the anonymous in there?' Sirius asked.

'No, but I always wanted to do that.' James laughed.

'Both Rogers are headed this way.' Sirius said.

'Thats odd.. but anyway, the plan will work.' James said.

'I don't think so, Evans is headed to the library.' Sirius said.

'Are you kidding me?' James asked, then rushed off without a reply.

James sprinted through the corridors, faster than he thought he would until he crashed with lily.

'Ow, that hurt, look where you are run— potter?' Lily looked up.

With the fall, James's glasses had fallen to a corner.

He reached out for them but didn't get them.

'Here.' Lily gave them to him. 'What are you doing here?' Lily asked.

'Just running, you know. To stay fit for the upcoming quidditch tryouts.' James said.

'You are the captain.' Lily said.
'Yeah, soo I have to stay fit enough to make decisions.' James said.

'Whatever, get out of my way.' Lily said.

'Thats my way too.' James said blocking the corridor with his hands.

'Don't mess with me, potter.' Lily said.

'Or what?'
'Or I will stun you and not look behind.'

'You would never do that- you are too nice.'

'Yeah, too nice. Nice enough to kick your ass if you don't get out of here.'

With the corner of his eye, James could see Sirius and the two Rogers near the library as tiny dots in the map sticking out of his pocket.

He did this so fast that lily couldn't register what he did.

He was expecting sirius's red dot to turn green soon. They had put a temporary spell to his dot for the plan to work.

James backed off when lily pointed her wand at his neck.

But continued walking by her side, distracting her every moment.

'So, I heard you have a boyfriend.' James started hoping to find a lead.

'None of your business.' Lily said.

'Fair enough but seriously is he hotter than me?' James asked.

'Bug off, you egotitiscal idiot.' Lily said, slight irritation lacing the sides of her voice.

'Is he though?' James asked.

'I don't know what you think of yourself but you are not hot. You are despicable.' Lily said, not stopping walking up the revolving corridors.

'I think you mean desperate.'

'Desperate is not a compliment potter.' Lily said.

'Whatever, red.'

'I told you to not call me, red.' Lily hissed in a tone of anger. 'Don't shit with me potter, or you will regret it.'

'I am not shitting with you. I am just—' James stopped when he noticed the change in colour of the dot.

'I am just leaving.' He said.

'So we both are Rogers. One is Dave and another is Richard though we don't know which is which.' James said.

'I don't want to do this. This is downright crazy. I mean, it's seven. We just have an hour to do the shit we planned to do.'

'Have some fun, man.' Said James.

'I dont think the words 'Fun' and 'Not getting Laid' are synonymous.' Sirius said.
