(A/N since today is actually Paige's birthday (March 5th for those of you in different time zones) according to my book notes, so... here's a birthday special for Paige and don't play the song above yet)

I poked Jake for the millionth times and showed him my little black board.

Where are we going?
Where's Milly and Kay and my Pokemon?

Jake just smiled. "We'll be there soon just come on." He replied with the same thing he had every time I asked.

I sighed and pouted as I followed Jake down the route. Was something wrong? No, Jake seemed happy, exited even. What could he want?

We entered the city and still we didn't stop. We turned down so many different streets I lost count. A few times I stopped to look at the different things that people were selling but Jake quickly pulled me away saying we had to hurry.

I started to get annoyed. Milly and Kay had left early this morning and my Pokemon went with them leave Jake to drag me down a route and around a city where I had no idea where we were.

"Okay, we're here." Jake exclaimed.

Finally!

We'd stopped outside what looked like a restaurant but all the blinds were shut making the place seem closed.

I frowned more as Jake knocked on the door, it swung open in response. Jake ushered me inside after him. I sighed before following.

The lights inside were dim and I had to squint just to make out the silhouettes of tables and chairs. The place seemed deserted but Jake closed the door and was smiling still.

I turned to him confused.

His smile widened. "Turn around and you'll see."

I turned. I was starting to feel like this was stupid.

I heard a shuffling noise from somewhere in the room that made me jump slightly. There was also a slight giggle that followed.

Suddenly the lights flicked on and Milly, Kay, my Pokemon and even N jumped out from behind tables and chairs, Samurai gracefully knocking a chair down as he did so.

"SURPRISE!!!"

The room was done up with streamers and balloons and a big banner that read 'Happy Birthday Paige'.

I covered my mouth with my hand. My birthday had completely slipped my mind. I'd never had a birthday party, not in a long time anyway. This could easily be the greatest day of my life.

Tears gathered in my eyes as I took everything in. A large cake, a small pile of presents sat on a table, trays of colourful food spread around and a chocolate fountain sat on a centre table.

I started crying tears of joy. I used to dream about having birthdays like this. Everything was perfect, brightly coloured with music pouting out of a radio.

I felt Jake take my side. "So?"

I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him close, sobbing a little in his shoulder, repeating thank you'd over and over in my head.

Jake smiled and rubbed my back. "I'll take that as you like it?"

I nodded and looked around again. Everyone had gathered around and was smiling at me.

I hugged each of them in turn. Milly first who simply beamed.

Kay smiled. "It was my idea." She winked making everyone else roll their eyes.

Samurai smirked.

Gardena was crying to. ~My little girl is growing up.~ She smiled.

~Miku bake cake with Lilly!~Miku smiled. ~For mama!~

~Eevee!~ Angel nodded.

~Sew-addle!~ Nyuu squealed.

When I got to N I hugged him tightly. "I though you'd like it." He smiled. "I always wanted to do something like this for you so I talked to Jake about it." He said hugging me and stroking my hair.

Jake tapped my shoulder and gestured to small pile of presents. "You want to open them? N said you haven't had a birthday present in a while, so everyone got you something."

When I spent my birthday with just N he'd bring me a few cup cakes, some other small treats and a little DVD player and we'd watch a movie together but he couldn't give me anything other than Samurai and Gardenia because if Ghetsis found out we'd both be in trouble. But this was amazing.

I nodded wiping away tears and let Jake lead me over to the table as everyone else crowded around to watch.

Milly pulled a small present wrapped in pink tissue paper with a sparkly green ribbon from the top. "Mine and Kay's first." She said excitedly.

She handed it to me and Kay smiled. "We chose it together."

I gently untied the ribbon, sitting it aside before carefully unwrapping the pink tissue paper doing my best not to rip it.

Inside was three sparkly blue head bands, a flower hair clip and a midnight blue hair brush. I gently picked up each item and liked over it carefully, taking in each and every detail of the items.

I then turned to Milly and Kay, hugging them in thanks.

Samurai picked up the next gift, a flat rectangular with a little box on top. ~This is from us.~ He smiled patting my head. ~Happy birthday Paige.~

:Thank you Samurai: I said hugging him.

~Go ahead, open it.~

I nodded. This present was wrapped in light blue wrapping paper with little darker blue flowers.

Once again I was carefully when opening the present, not ripping the wrapping paper at all.

Inside the flat present was a new black board. The out side was pink and the back was decorated with stickers of all my Pokemon. The second present had chalk of every colour you could think of.

I invited all my Pokemon for a hug, thanking them all for the gifts.

N stepped forward next. A tiny blue box was in his hands. "I got you a gift to." He smiled, handing it to me.

The gift didn't have any wrapping but a silver ribbon. I undid the ribbon and flipped the box open, almost crying again when I saw what was in it.

A fine silver necklace with a crystal blue flower hung from the chain its delicate petals caught and held the light making it seem to glow in the box.

N took the box from me and took out the necklace holding it out, offering to put it on.

I nodded and held my hair out of the way so N could clip it around my neck.

"Beautiful." He smiled hugging me tightly. "You keep that safe alright? It cost a lot of money but I didn't mind for you." He blushed slightly at the end.

Why was he blushing?

Jake lightly tapped my shoulder holding a present a little bigger than N's, a little smaller than my hand.

Jake handed it to me. "I spent ages choosing it. I hope you like it."

I accepted it and gently unwrap the preset, once again not ripping the wrapping in the slightest way. My eyes widen at the small present inside.

It was a silvery box with little hearts and music notes embossed on it in the shape of a flower growing from the corner. I opened the lid and gasped when a little Pokemon spring up. It had green hair to one side of its head and a little black dress. N told me about this Pokemon once, its called a Meloetta and was meant to have the most beautiful singing voice of any Pokemon ever to exist. It twirled around on its red velvet cushion as a tinkling melody rang through the air. (Play the song above)

Tears formed in my eyes again as I listened to every note played by the box in my hands.

This as the necklace that N gave me are defiantly the most beautiful gifts I've ever received and the second best, only to Samurai and Gardenia as eggs.

The room was silent until the music stopped playing. I reached up and hugged Jake close, once again letting out small sobs that I was unable to keep in from all the other happy feelings inside.

After a moment we pulled back and Jake smiled at me. "I'm glad you like it."

It was silent for a moment before Makayla spoke up. "Come on, this cake isn't going to eat itself." She said pointing to the cake in the middle of another table.

I nodded and wiped away my tears as Kay led me over to the cake, leaving my gifts on the table.

I examined the cake and almost cried for the thousandth time today. It was beautiful. My was name written in light blue swirly writing standing out splendidly against the white frosting, little frosting flowers decorated the top in many different colours. It was better than any cake I'd seen in shop displays and prettier than any fancy cake in photos for one main fact, my friends had made it specially for me.

Kay handed me a cake knife. "You wanna cut the cake?"

I hesitated. The cake was so beautiful I didn't want to break it.

"It's okay Paige." Kay smiled, slipping the knife into my hand. "We want you to. Cakes were made to be eaten."

I smiled and slowly pressed the blade against the spongey cake. The knife cut straight into the cake and touched the bottom of the plate.

"Paige touched to bottom, she has to kiss the closest boy!" Milly squealed.

I blushed as looked at her in confusion.

"It's a rule with birthdays. If you touch the bottom in the cake you have to kiss the closest boy!" Milly explained excitedly.

I looked to my left where Jake stood red in the cheeks. I looked to my right to see N standing with wide eyes and just as red cheeks. They were equal distance so who do I have to kiss?

Well that was exhausting and adorable. *squeals*

I had the crappest day ever. -.- but I'm not gonna rant about it here... If you really want to here about it I'm now writing a diary so I have somewhere to vent and rant.
