"L-leave me alone," Dorek mumbled, his white hair shielding his forehead.
"I mean you no harm," his bully said grabbing the scrawny teen by the torso and carrying him to the edge of the clouds. "I just want to see you fly like the rest of us." A devilish grin expanded on his face.
Dorek kicked his legs and waved his arms in hope of getting free, but it did nothing. He was too weak.
"No, no, no, please stop." Dorek was being held past the edge.
"It's easy Dorek, all you have to do is flap your little wings," the bully said. "and fly."
Dorek was released, he fell like condensed water vapor. Dorek flapped his wings, but they were as weak as he was.
"Help me!" Dorek screamed in hope his bully would take pity on him and swoop down.
He was falling fast, the wind screaming in his ears.
Dorek looked up at the clouds, he could see his bully there with his best friend, Lysander.
No one loved him but Lysander. Whenever Dorek was near him, a smile was always present on their faces. Lysander was always there to save him from the bullies, but this time he was at the top of the clouds not diving down to save him. This time, he was smiling with one of the bullies.
Dorek's wings gave out. His lips curled downward to the ground he was just meters to.
***
The ground was harder than Dorek thought it would be, but it brought on the sensation of falling asleep...
He shut his eyes with a grin on his face.
