Sorry For Being An Idiot

A/N

Well look here, an update! Man I have been slacking. Sorry about that! I have had a lot to do between work and school so updates will most likely be slow for quite awhile. But fear not! Being the(not so) awesome admin that I am, I will push myself to try and get at least an update a week if not more.

DETERMINATION INTESIFIES

Anyways, enjoy the update!'

Dick was not happy when the Bat told Wally to leave the room so they could have their little 'talk'. Beyond unhappy. The Batman simply glared at him when he gave a bit of an attitude when the speedster left, only to have his glare returned by the teen. "Listen here. I am not playing by your rules because I respect them." Dick spoke coolly. " The only reason I am still here is for Wally's sake, which you just rudely told to leave." Dick added with a grunt.

"I am not here to be polite." Batman scowled, now standing next to the teen in the hospital bed.

"Well that's a shocker." The boy sarcastically rolled his eyes. "Batman was never one for manners. Beat up baddies ask questions later."

"What is the injustice league planning?" Bruce cut to the chase, not at all in the mood for the child's games.

"Oh, now you want something from me?" Dick folded his arms, the rattling of the handcuffs echoing in the room. "Sorry Bats. I don't help heros unless they have red hair and a good sense of humor-- and if humor wasn't out of the question, I don't feel like you would be a ginger." Dick gave the Batman a quick scan from his head to his feet. "Considering your dark clothing, I would either say black or brunette~ though finding out the caped crusader had bleach blonde hair would be a total riot." He hummed.

"What business do you have with Kid Flash?"

"Now you don't even need to be the world's biggest detective to figure that one out." Dick Laughed. "We are friends, something you probably don't have."

Batman grit his teeth, trying not to let the teen get under his skin. The boy had information...meaning he has become an asset. Though this asset wanted nothing to do with helping heroes unless it is Kid Flash. He would have to use that to his advantage. "You do realize you are not the only one in trouble here. Your friend is going to get punished to by the league." Batman watched when after the last word of that sentence left his mouth, the young teen's face almost instantly paled. However, it quickly altered , twisting into a look of rage.

"Listen here you no good piece of--"

"But if you cooperate." Batman cut off. "We could arrange not only leniency over this entire matter, but also a way so that Kid Flash and yourself can meet more...often."

Dick snorted. "Like I need your permission. You're not my dad, or rather, any parental figure in my life. Matter of fact, I break the law often...you're not even an authority figure to me."

"I can however lock you away in Belle Reve and leave you with the villains you betrayed." Batman commented coldly. He could not actually lock the kid up in Belle Reve, at most a juvenile detention center, but something told him that the teen would not want to even risk the possibility.

Dick froze at the Caped Crusader's words, if he went there, death would not even be an option, it would be a definite. He let out a frustrated sigh, glaring back at the Dark Knight. "Where do you want to start?"

Wally paced in the halls outside of the med bay, anxious about leaving him alone with the Bat. He should have found a way to let him escape before Batman had a chance to-- no..that would not have helped their situation. Dick was a good guy! He did not deserve a constant life on the run from the league..he deserved if anything to be treated as an equal! Robin risked his life for the team, he was extremely injured and willing to die for him-- That has to hold some sort of weight..doesn't it?

"Geez Walls, you are going to start burning digging into the floor if you keep pacing like that" A familiar voice broke Wally's train of thought.

Wally looked up, his smile widening when he saw his favorite bird standing in the hallway. But then his look of worry returned, "Dude, should you really be up and around? You're still recovering. And what about Batman?"

Robin gave a small shrug, but it caused him to wince--the speedster now instantly by his side ready to assist if needed. "Let's just say we reached a compromise that benefits both parties. Looks like you will be seeing more of me in the near future." he leaned against the speedster. Guess Wally was right in the whole recovering thing, he felt drained of all energy.

"Dude..I'm taking you back to the Med Bay. Something tells me you left without permission."

Dick let out a weak laugh. The second the Batman was called elsewhere, he left the room to find Wally. He was honestly surprised that no alarms were sounding off after his disappearance. Did batman trust him that much to keep his word? He doubted it, he probably has all cameras pointed to him at all times. "Guilty is charged. Guess my determination to see you again got the better of me. What can I say?"

"You could say 'sorry for being an idiot'" Wally joked.

"Hey now, that's your line, I would hate to steal it from you." Dick teased as his eyes begin to close, his weight shifting more against Wally.

"Whoa! Dude, don't fall asleep ret we are not even to your room yet!" Wally complained, but sighed as his words did not seem to register to the other teen.He slowly lifted the other teen into his arms, holding him bridal style "This is the second time this week, this better not become a thing for you." Wally smiled softly, beginning to walk back to the room to drop off the sleeping teen. His thoughts returned to what the other said a few minutes ago, about the compromise between Dick and Batman. What kind of deal did they make anyway?Wally glanced down at Dick again before opening the door to his room and placing him on the bed. Whatever it was, he was glad that it meant that he could stay close to his friend.
