Wally stood frozen in horror as Dick walked up with a grin. "Oh calm down Walls, Bats is not here, I checked before I came in." He wrapped his arms around the other and waved at a very confused Miss Martian. "I knew who you juts where so no worries, secret is safe with me"

"Dick!—" Wally started but was cut off by being kicked in the shin by Dick. "Ow! Dude!"

"So. Miss M. I would much appreciate if you kept this on the down low, like real low. You see my friend here has been ignoring me for weeks and I believe I deserve some us time don't you think?"

"But–" Miss Martian started but was also cut off by Dick, who was smiling from ear to ear.

"Ah ah ah, no buts." He linked arms with Wally and then his other with M'gann's. "It's tour time."

'Wally who is this person? How does he know about the cave and our identities?' M'gann telepathically spoke to Wally, trying to not make it obvious to the raven haired boy. 'We need to inform the other's of an intruder–'

"NO!" Wally spoke out loud, and a little bit too loud as his voice bounced off the cave walls.

"No?" Dick blinked, looking slightly offended, thinking the other was so intent on not spending time with him. "You don't want to spend time with me? After I went out of my way and risked my life to do so?" Dick frowned more.

Wally quickly turned to Dick, shaking his head like a maniac " No! I mean– no to that! I mean..crap..yes you chose like the worst place and to meet–  I have a mission.. though I'm glad to see that you were alright, I mean I was worried for days that you might have died.." He rambled desperately before looking at M'gann with pleading eyes not to tell anyone.

Dick's frown was replaced to his original smile, which let Wally relax a little. "Okay, so maybe I should not just pop up .."

"You think?" Wally face palmed but smiled slightly. "You should probably leave before–"

"Baywatch!"

Wally flinched, cursing as he heard footsteps running in only to stop near the entrance of the hallway. Wally glanced up seeing that the entire team was there, and staring at the newcomer who was standing there with a smirk on his face.

"So this the team that prevents you from hanging out all the time? Not a very traught looking bunch." Dick put his hands on his hips, examining the group. They looked just like the pictures in the database, so he was not entirely surprised. "Whelming."

"Who is your friend?" Kaldur hesitated, staring at the boy between M'gann and Wally. Concerned that the Zeta Beams did not announce a guest or that there was no sign of security breach alert, who was this kid?

"O-oh.. He is just a–"

"Best friend. Wally here is my BEST friend." Dick corrected. "And as his friend I have the right to come over and hang out– even if it means I have to share time with the mini league team of his." He stuck his tongue out. "So move your mission to tomorrow or something, 'cause this hero business is straining. Why does it have to be a full time gig? This is exactly why I never will join. This bird needs to fly not be caged—"

Wally covered Dick's mouth quickly  when he started speaking about his other identity. He was going to get them both in a lot of trouble! "Dude!" He hissed shaking his head, which in this situation, probably looked like the shadiest thing ever. He glanced back at his friends "look I promised him he could see the cave.. We have been like childhood friends and it was impossible to keep the secret." Well he did know the other from the very beginning of his Kid Flash days... They were kinda childhood frienemies. "Please don't tell Bats." He begged.

"Wally.." M'gann frowned, sensing the sudden increase in emotions the other was feeling. Why was he lying? To protect himself from something? To protect Dick? What were they hiding? She glanced at Dick, focusing a bit.

"Robin, why do you do it?" Wally asked facing the boy.
"Do what?"
"This? The stealing the running away?"
"Because I want to be free—"
The memory stopped and everything was melting into darkness 'GET OUT OF MY HEAD!'

M'gann flinched and backed away, the once smiling Dick's face was warped into the coldest, most venomous glare imaginable. 'Do that again and you will regret it martian.'

The team looked at the the two staring at each other and knew that something was up. If M'gann was speaking to him– and by the look the other was giving, there was no doubt that M'gann found out something he did not want others to find out.

"Robin." M'gann whispered "you're Robin." M'gann could not believe her eyes, at first glance, Dick did not show any signs of being anything other than a happy boy who loved to smile. He is so young, not what any of them had expected– and Wally, Wally was hiding him.

"I can explain" Wally held up his hands in defense "Rob is not a bad guy, sure he steals ..and hacks but–"

"That is the definition of a criminal Wally!" Artemis glared getting into a combat stance glaring at Robin. "How long? How long did you cover for this criminal?"

Wally flinched, looking at Robin, who just stayed still, with no emotions at the team. " He saved my life before guys. He saved others' lives before... Please, he is my friend! Last time I checked you were once on the other side Artemis, why can't he get a chance too?!"

Dick looked over to Wally then back at the team that his friend had been wasting his time on. Wally had to be stupid if he thought that he would fit in here. He does not belong anywhere, that's what got him HERE in the first place. He stole to survive, otherwise he probably would have been dead a long time ago in some ditch. But he was a fighter, and there was no way he was going to take these insults lying down "Listen here Blondie." Dick growled "some of us don't get special treatment in the world and need to take in order to live." He spat , glare worsening. " Some of us don't have mentors to look up to, or a bed to sleep in at night or friends who actually trust them enough not to think that I am not always up to no good." Dick looked back at wally, the first person who actually did not see him and label him as a criminal.Wally was his first and only friend. He was the only precious thing that Dick had left in this world, and he would be damned if he let these 'heroes' take it away from him. He was tired of people taking things away from him! He grabbed Wally's arm tightly. "Walls, let's go. We don't need them." He started walking but jerked to a stop when the other did not budge from his spot. "Wally?"

"Dick, they are my friends too, I can't just leave–"

Dick flinched at the letting go and letting his arm drop to his side. "... So in the end you chose them over me." His words held so much pain, that M'gann flinched as the wave of emotion hit her. Dick's fists clenched, a feeling of betrayal and then depression clouding his mind. Why was he so stupid? He should have known that happiness was never in his deck of cards dealt to him. Misfortune follows him everywhere– perhaps it was better if the other stayed away from him. "If that's the case, don't bother ever showing your face in Gotham again. You hear me?" His voice rose along with his anger. " If you want a criminal...a villain, so be it!" He shoved Wally harshly before heading off to the zeta beams." I hope it was worth it!" He shouted behind him. He will make those heroes regret they had ever crossed his path.
