Those Hungry Wolves
I feed myself to the wolves
Because they are starving
Their growl and grin
Eyes of the full moon
Bellies gurgling and biting.
I give them my flesh and meat
Whatever they need.
They're famished.
Backed into a corner
Pupils the size of an opal
My blood calls to them.
The more I try
To fight their snarls
The more it
Grows.
Pearly whites so
Fine.
Leak dedication and
Persistence.
I comply.
I give my life
For the wolves
That eats away all
My mind
Tormented and tired
Pained but a supplier
I feed myself to the wolves
I cannot hide.
They live inside me.
They are in my eyes.
I grin.
