Y/n and Yoruichi eventually make it to the training ground that was Yoruichi was talking about as Y/n gets dropped onto the ground

Y/n: "Finally. I didn't enjoy being on your shoulder at all cat lady. You are lucky you are quicker than me for now..."

Yoruichi smiles

Yoruichi: "There is no way you would ever surpass me. They call me the flash goddess for a reason Y/n"

Y/n looks down at Yoruichi as he chuckles kind of smugly

Y/n: "How about if we test that out huh? Flash Goddess"

Yoruichi smiles accepting the energy that Y/n is bringing out

Ichigo: "You are finally back Yoruichi?"

Y/n turns to see Ichigo walking towards him as he smiles

Y/n: "It's good to see you again hero boy believe it or not."

Ichigo: "I dunno where everyone else is, but what we do know is that Rukia is still alive"

Y/n: "The soul reaper girl is still alive? So your mission is not in vain then. And you want to be strong enough to defeat that guy who beat you right?"

Ichigo looks at Y/n with determination in his eyes

Ichigo: "Of course. That is why I'm trying to learn Bankai"

Y/n: "And how long has he got to learn this Bankai?"

Yoruichi: "3 days"

Y/n looks at Yoruichi before then looking at Ichigo before then sighing and thinking for a moment

Y/n: "He can do it."

Ichigo and Yoruichi look towards Y/n almost as if they misheard him

Ichigo: "You have faith in me?"

Y/n: "You want to save the soul reaper girl right? Then you would put your heart and soul into doing so."

Yoruichi looks towards Y/n who's hands were behind his head as she just chuckled and smiled

Y/n: "Enough waffling from me, let's fight then cat lady"

Yoruichi: "You've heard that my name is Yoruichi right..?"

Y/n nods as he starts to walk off

Yoruichi: "So why are you still calling me cat lady?"

Y/n: "Because I feel like it! Now come on, I'm not going to let Hero boy catch up to me"

Y/n shouted back while walking further into the training ground as both Yoruichi and Ichigo look towards each other

Ichigo: "It seems he hasn't changed a bit at all since he was here."

Ichigo smiles. He knows that this is the Y/n that everyone knows

Yoruichi: "He can never change. He is still that little boy..."

Yoruichi looks at Y/n while he was walking as she remembers the one time she saw him as a little boy walking through the streets

Y/n: "CAT LADY!!"

Yoruichi: "OKAY OKAY!! IM GOING NOW!"

Yoruichi chuckles before then walking away leaving Ichigo and Zangetsu to go and train with each other for Ichigo to learn his bankai

Yoruichi smiles as she gets ready to go up against Y/n while he was rubbing his shoulders getting ready

Yoruichi: "Just to let you know Y/n, I'm not going to be easing up for you"

Y/n smiles as he keeps his small flame on on his small black wings

Y/n: "I've been getting stronger while being incarcerated. I was able to see my true self..."

Y/n ignites his hand before looking at Yoruichi

Y/n: "Come at me then cat lady."

Yoruichi then runs towards Y/n as he gets ready to go for a punch on her but she fakes a strike and goes for Y/n's legs to which he was just able to jump before then retaliating by punching his fist onto the ground causing fire.

Yoruichi: "So you are not bluffing huh?"

Y/n: "It seems you are quick too Flash Goddess. But I want to match your speed"

Yoruichi notices that Y/n's flame on his back has disappeared before then Y/n starts to run towards her with his fire and lighting flaring up again

Yoruichi: "This is some good speed Y/n!"

She smiles as he spins in the air and goes for a kick but she was just able to weave it

Yoruichi: "But I am quicker than you, so this is nothing."

Yoruichi then kicks Y/n right in the chest sending him tumbling back before he then backflips and starts to send fire balls at Yoruichi

Y/n: "I'm not done yet Cat Lady."

Yoruichi then shows Y/n a bit of her Shunko with her being able to just dodge and weave all of the attacks thrown at her before then just punching him in the ribs

Y/n: "How in the world are you so fast cat lady?"

Yoruichi: "You rely too much on your power Y/n. Strength means nothing if you can't hit your opponent"

Y/n: "Whatever whatever. I'm going to hit you don't worry."

Yoruichi: "From the way you are now there is no chance at all of that."

Y/n smiles. He keeps his flame off before then looking at Yoruichi with fire in his eyes

Y/n: "Wanna bet."

Y/n immediately uses his Shunko with him running towards Yoruichi with the fire and lighting trailing once again

Yoruichi: "What is his move..?"

Y/n then feints left before then going right, pivoting on his foot and was about to stop and in that moment Yoruichi appears behind him about to counter him

Y/n: "Just what I was waiting for"

Y/n was able to turn around and hit Yoruichi with a light punch which did have a lot of speed behind it causing there to be wind pressure behind it

Yoruichi: "Not bad at all Y/n.."

Y/n: "I did tell you I was able to get you one time."

Yoruichi then narrows her eyes before using Shunko and appearing right behind Y/n

Yoruichi: "Tell me Y/n...why do you fight?"

Y/n: "What do you mean."

Yoruichi and Y/n begin to go back and forth with Yoruichi holding back a bit while Y/n had his flame off to increase speed

Yoruichi: "I just see power with no purpose, why in the world do you fight?"

Y/n sighs before then looking towards Yoruichi

Y/n: "I fight.....to not be weak. I've never really had a real real family, never someone from his own family to rely on. So for me...that is why I get stronger, to prove people wrong and to not be weak so I'm not alone"

Yoruichi looks towards Y/n with a sadness within her eyes..almost as if she feels a whole load of guilt just crash over her.

Y/n: "Enough about me. I want to get stronger lets keep on going"

Yoruichi: "O-okay"

They continued to fight but Yoruichi realised how hollow Y/n's eyes are and how in his kicks he just feels empty...
