This story starts in Karakura town but mainly focuses on Karakura high since the sound of the final bell could be heard signaling the end of a long day

Y/n Shihouin sat at the top of the school's roof alone and all by himself with his arms folded behind his head as he looked up into the sky. The thing is, skipping class was something that wasn't new for him as he just absolutely hated school, and found it quite pointless.

Y/n: "What rubbish...why do I even have to go here anyway"

Y/n remembers the silly promise that he made to his caretaker or whatever you want to call him. Y/n doesn't really even see him as a caretaker, he sees him almost like a father, Urahara Kisuke that he would go into school and learn and get a education for his mother's sake

Urahara: Your mother would have wanted you to have an education Y/n! That's why you are going to go into school

Y/n: "Yeah yeah whatever"

Y/n continues to look up into the sky until his thoughts were interrupted by someone kicking him in the side

Tatsuki: "Oi Y/n! Get your lazy ass up!"

Y/n cracks one eye open as he looks to see Tatsuki standing there looking down at him with her hands on her hips, her usual look on her face

Y/n: "Ugh....what in the world do you want Tomboy"

He rolls over to not face Tatsuki as Tatsuki sighs before raising her voice up a bit more

Tatsuki: "You've been up here all day haven't you!"

Y/n looks towards Tatsuki

Y/n: "And what if I have...?"

Tatsuki groans as she puts her hands on her hips once again looking even more angry at Y/n

Tatsuki: "You were supposed to be with us playing PE, but No! Shihouin decides that it's right to disappear again! You know if you tried you would be one of the best in the school"

Y/n smirks

Y/n: "If you stopped nagging me then maybe you would have a Stress-free life, Arisawa"

Tatsuki was about to say something else but someone chimes in from behind them

Orihime: "Y/n-kun, you shouldn't really be skipping school as much!"

Y/n looks up to see Orihime Inoue just standing in front of him

Orihime: "You are going to fall behind, and then you are going to have to do make-up work!"

Y/n: "I don't plan on sticking around here long enough to even care about the silly grades"

Someone else then walks towards them adjusting his glasses

Uryu: "If you are just planning to waste your education, why even bother coming here in the first place"

Y/n sits up looking at all of the people that were looking at him

Y/n: "I made a promise to someone that i would come to school, and this is the maximum that I would even do."

Tatsuki sighs

Tatsuki: "He is too Laid-back for his own good. You can't save him"

Y/n: "I know right, but this is just me to be honest."

Ichigo: "You know, for someone who acts like the school is a waste of time but spends a lot of his time here"

They turn to see Chad and Ichigo standing there with it being the first time that Ichigo decides to speak. Y/n chuckles

Y/n: "What can I say? I like people watching"

Ichigo looks towards Y/n. He has always been kind of suspicious about Y/n with him having a strong aura around him that makes no sense. Suddenly, Y/n's phone begins to ring as he looks to all the people there

Y/n: "Sorry but my phone is calling, so I have to take my leave now"

Y/n smiles as he bows before then walking away from them and making his way down towards the ground

Tatsuki: "That Shihouin! Always with the most laidback attitude to ever exist"

Orihime: "He seems very interesting to me! What do you think Kurosaki-kun?"

Orihime looks towards Ichigo who was just looking at Y/n making his way down from the top of the rooftop

Uryu: Kurosaki.

Ichigo turns around as he sees everyone looking towards him as he smiles

Ichigo: "Sorry about that guys, I just kinda got lost in the moment for a bit..."

Timeskip brought by Y/n calling Urahara

Y/n was running to the area where he sensed the hollow that Urahara told him where it was as he sees the hollow

Y/n: "It's quite an ugly Hollow right..."

Y/n just had his hands in his pocket while walking towards the hollow with the hollow just staring Y/n down. The hollow then roars as it charges towards Y/n but he has other plans

Shunko.

Y/n disappears before then reappearing right near the top of the Hollow as his flames begin to ignite around his foot as he looked towards the hollow

Y/n: "You should have just stayed in the home that you can from."

Y/n spins over and over again going faster and faster before then getting closer to the hollow as he kicks it right in the face sending it into the pavement letting out a agonising scream

Y/n: "Disperse."

The hollow's mask begun to just burn away with the flames spreading across as if it was a curse leaving the body to completely disappear. Y/n then jumps back down effortlessly before putting his hands in his pocket while walking

Y/n: "That was boring."

Y/n looks up as he sees Ichigo in some sort of uniform and a girl that he knows quite well

Y/n: "If it isn't Hero Boy and his little girl sidekick."

Y/n was looking down at Ichigo and Rukia while smiling. (just to let you guys know Y/n is like 9'0)

Rukia: "T-that is not my name! And what was that power that you just showed.."

Y/n: "That power..."

Y/n looks to his hand as he ignites his own hand before looking at Ichigo and Rukia

Y/n: "Is my gift as well as my curse. It's not like you soul reapers. I fight my own way."

Y/n walks past both Ichigo and Rukia before making his way back toward the place that he kind of call home....Urahara's shop

Y/n: "I'm back."

Urahara: "Oh! If it isn't Mr. Student! How was your day"

Y/n: "Wasn't too bad. Fought off a weak hollow and just stared up at the clouds"

Jinta: "We have to fight again Y/n, I promise I'll be the one who is beating you!"

Y/n smiles before his face drops

Y/n: "Never."

Jinta: "Aw come on!"

Ururu: "Hi Y/n"

Y/n pats Ururu on the head as he looks at her

Y/n: "Good to see ya Ururu"

Y/n shows a genuine smile that Urahara and Tessai both saw before it quickly faded.

Y/n: "Hiya Uncle Tessai"

Tessai: "Good to see you Y/n, see you are still in form?"

Y/n nods before walking out of the shop and going up to the roof to look up at the night sky

Tessai: "How was he today?"

Urahara: "Same as always...skipping class, pretending not to care, then taking down a hollow like it was nothing."

Tessai: "He is getting stronger"

Urahara: "His mom would be proud of him"

Y/n heard everything they were talking about as he grabbed a rock and threw it into the distance

Y/n: "What mother would be proud with a son like me."

Y/n hears a purr as he looks to see a black cat just  staring at him

Y/n: "Sorry but I can't play with you today."

The cat goes closer to Y/n before then sitting in his lap almost wanting the attention causing Y/n to chuckle

Y/n: "Fine whatever."

Y/n looks up to the sky while the cat continued to purr

Y/n: "I promise I'll get better for you mom."

The cat looks up to Y/n as he continues to stare off into the distance
