Manik is sitting in the dinning area, having his breakfast in full silence. His full focus is on the Business Times , not even for once he raised his face to look at the folks sitting right in front of him..

Nandini too noticed his behavior, his attention didn't diverted even for a second, she found it weird. Then she looked at his parents who are looking at him with some hope in their eyes but he didn't paid any heed to their pleading eyes.

"Manik!".. they all heard a old womanly voice and now for the first time Manik raised his face and looked backside, next what he found made his face light up with thousands bulbs intensity..

Manik : "Dadi!".. he smiled wholeheartedly and stood up ..They all stood up after looking at her, she opened her arms for Manik and he ran straight to her..

Manik : "I missed you so much Dadi!".. he hugged her and she too reciprocated with the same fervor..

Dadi : "I missed you more honey!"..She kissed his forehead after breaking the hug and he smiled..

Nandini noticed his each and every move, he seems totally different around his Dadi, and he behaves totally monster around his own parents, what's the mystery behind his bipolar personality?

Grandmother eyes fell on Nandini, who is standing a bit far from them but looking at them with a smile, she walked straight to Nandini and before Nandini touch her feet , she took her in her warm embrace..

Dadi : "Finally Manik married the girl I have chosen for him.."..Her voice depicts her joy..Nandini looked at Manik who is standing right behind his Dadi, he too looked at her after hearing dadi's words..

Nandini : "how are you Dadi?".. she asked after breaking the hug and she cupped her face with a big beautiful smile on her face..

Dadi : "Now when I have seen you, am more than fine.."..She planted a tender kiss on her forehead and Nandini smiled..

Manik : "Dadi! You take rest! You had a long journey , come I'll take you to your room..".. he tried to walk her out but she stopped him..

Dadi : "My dear grandson, I've flown a long way to see you so resting is out of case.."..She completed with a big grin and Manik hugged her sideways..

Dadi : "Raj , Nyonika will you both keep standing there?".. she asked as she noticed them standing in the upright corner, far from them but not taking their eyes off her..

Manik instantly moved in a side as soon as Raj and Nyonika approached his grandmother.. Dadi sensed his tension and his strange behavior which is there from past 10 years.

He behave totally a stranger around his own parents, and it's not like his grandmother never tried to understand his feelings , his utmost disgusting behavior ,it's just she always tried to give him his own space and respected his lines.. But deep down she really want to know the reason behind his indifferent behavior for his own biological parents, but alas! He never told her and she was never able to dig the truth out of him, he is always the stubborn head..

Raj : "Missed you Mom! ..Hope you can stay with us longer this time..".. he eyed Manik while saying the last night, whereas Manik didn't caste even a glance at them..

Nyonika : "Raj is right Mom! Can you Please stay with us ,as Nandini too is here now so we all have a fun family moment like old days..".. she recalled a very beautiful memory when Manik was only 4 years and they all used to live together, happy like a normal family, but things went extremely unwell with them as soon as Manik attained the age of 15.

Nandini noticed their craving , their longing to hold their only son in their arms, she noticed his behavior as well who seems to be least concerned about them..

Dadi : "Raj Nyonika I wish I could stay back but you know your father Raj, he wants me to accompany him everywhere he travel and we both so desperately wanted to attend Manik's wedding but due to some situation at work we were not able to make up, and Manik's grandfather strictly told me to come back as soon as possible otherwise he'll shut down the whole business in New York and will come straight over here.. It's an open threat to me..".. she giggled at the end and her words made each and everyone smile..

Dadi : "But Manik am proud of you, I just asked you to marry my choice and you instantly agreed to marry her without even asking her background, you didn't knew anything about Nandini instead of her name, Infact you didn't ever saw her before your wedding day, still you married her because it was my wish..Am really proud to have a grandson like you .."..Her words filled with only love and proud for him, and he just passed a smile to her..

Manik : "your wish is my command Dadi, even if you ask for my life , I will give it to you without asking a single question.. You mean world to me.."..His voice is filled with honesty and everyone knows the depth of his love for his grandmother..

Dadi : "I can never ask for your life Manik, Infact I want her to become your life.." her words started ringing in his head and he looked at Nandini with something unusual..

Shit! Don't fuck up Malhotra.. his subconscious snarled..

Manik : "Dadi, I need to rush I have a very important meeting ..".. he tried to excuse but she held his hand..

Dadi : "No!".. her strict voice stopped him and she made him stand next to Nandini, she held Nandini's hand and placed Manik's hand in her hand with a bright grin plastered on her face..

Dadi : "He is the most mercurial man but I know only you can handle him..".. she looked at her with immense hope in her eyes and Nandini smiled..

Nandini : "Dadi, I think you should take rest Please..".. she pleaded with her innocent face and this made grandmother smile..

Dadi : "hear that Manik! This is how you need to approach a person, always ordering around is not going to work..".. she said in soft tone but her words made him angry, he looked at Nandini with anger..

Holy fuck! It's the first Dadi pointed on my ways of getting things done.. This isn't a good sign at all ..His mind started burning in anger and so as he, he gave a tight squeeze to her hand which he still holding ..Nandini looked at him suddenly with his move..

Raj : "Mom! Come!".. he took her with him and Nyonika too followed them, as soon as they left the living area, Nandini snatched her hand from his grip..

Nandini : "what was that Mr. M?".. she snapped and he looked at her furiously..

Manik : "Don't be so obtuse!".. he stated with anger and now she looked at him with equal intensity which he really don't appreciate..

Nandini : "Will you spill the beans? ".. she asked keeping her voice low as she knew they are still in living area and servants can hear them..

Manik : "You are trying to impress Dadi by your innocent face , it's the first time she pointed out me..".. he told her maintaining his voice low as he didn't wanted to create a scene over there..

She looked at him like he is a four year kid, she wrapped her arms around her body and asked the most unexpected question which startled him..

Nandini : "you are angry because Dadi pointed out you? Or you are angry because she noticed my innocent face? .. What made you more angry? ,My innocence or her pointing on you? ..Think about it..".. she left as soon as she completed , leaving him daze and hanging between his own wrath and her words.

He is really surprised by her question, what really made him angry?, Is that only dadi's words? Or that beautiful innocent face which she never uses in front of him?, Is it only his ego which got hurt or It is his heart which is tormented by the thought that she is totally different around him? ..

It's afternoon, sun is shining on its full spreading warmness all over the Mumbai city, unlike other days it's more hot today! And it seems like Almighty is enjoying this much hotness in the weather as yesterday one of the most hottest couple tied nuptial knots and today they are standing together yet so far by heart..

Dadi : "Manik! You always defy me in this context..".. she said with disappointment in her tone.

Manik : "Dadi, I don't want to.. but you always push me.. please understand..".. he tried to pursue her but nothing going in his favor..

Manik's parents and Nandini too is present in dadi's room looking at them. While Nandini is clueless of what's happening around whereas his parents are feeling much low today..

Raj : "it would be good if you both stay today, we have planned a reception party tonight..".. he tried to interrupt Manik but his interference ignited the fire..

Manik : "Did I asked your opinion?".. he snapped looking at him with wrath..

Dadi : "Manik!".. she scolded him in her loud tone and Manik instantly lowed his gaze ..

Dadi : "Don't forget he is your father..".. she chided him loudly this time and Manik looked at her with some unknown emotion..

Anger?, Pain? , Hurt? Or something else?

Manik : "I wish I could ".. he murmured underneath his breath but Nandini is standing too close to him and heard him loud and clear..

Why he hate his own parents?, What's the story? ..Her subconscious looked at him with questioning eyes..

Dadi : "fine Manik! If you want to go .. Then you can go..But I want you both here tonight for the reception..And I don't want any argument further..".. she made it crystal clear and he nodded..

Before anyone can start any more interrogation, he held Nandini's hand and left from the room. His sudden move startled Nandini but she followed him quietly.

Nyonika : "I thought when you are here, he won't go back to his penthouse. I thought after his marriage he'll stay with us here in Malhotra mansion..".. she told grandmother with her sad tone and Dadi cajoled her.

Dadi : "Nyonika we all want Manik here back but he didn't turned up in these 10 years , but today I saw something which you all missed..".. they both looked at her with confusion and she smiled..

Dadi : "Manik never took any of us at his penthouse, but today he held Nandini's hand showing all his rights on her and he took her with him, seems like our Manik soon come back to us.. Nandini is the only hope for us!".. she stated with a big smile and Raj Nyonika too nodded with the same hope in their heart..

Nandini : "Will you stop, I can't walk that faster in these heels..".. she told him honestly while he was dragging her , he stopped abruptly and looked at her..

Manik : "I am in no mood of wasting energy on you..".. he blankly stated and she looked amused..

Nandini : "and I thought you really like wasting energy on me..".. her voice holds nothing but desires, passion and seduction..

He smirked at her and yanked her closer, she collided with his hard frame and inhale his sweet scent which always fascinates her..He smells divine always!

Manik : "you have no idea what you are calling for.."..His threatening tone holds the same desires, passion, lust and seduction..

Nandini : "Well! Mr. M am well aware of what am calling for..".. she said while undoing the first two buttons of his shirts, but her eyes stick on him only .. He inhaled deeply as she touch the collarbone ..

Manik instantly held her hand and locked it behind her back.

Manik : "You are insatiable .. Aren't you?".. he asked with a evil smirk and he knew it will work, she pushed him while he looked at her with the evil grin..

Nandini : "Are you making fun of me?"..  she asked with angry look..And he raised his hands in his defense..

Manik : "I wouldn't dare to..".. he faked innocence and she just narrowed her gaze on him..

Nandini : "Am officially pissed at you!".. she stated with anger and walked straight to their room..

While Manik is still standing in the corridor and laughing his heart out, he himself don't remember when did last time he laughed this hard but all he know is that she is doing some magic on him .. there is something about this girl which is driving him crazy and Everytime he sees her he feels it's the first..

Manik's Room:

He came inside after completing his laughing session and as soon as he came in ..He saw Nandini packing her stuff and he smiled as atleast she listened to him this time unlike other times.

Manik : "Mrs. M ..I don't think you'll require this much clothes at my house..".. he said while locking the door and she looked at him questioningly..

Nandini : "but you said to Dadi that we both are moving there right? And when you live there only then why won't I require clothes?".. she asked in a matter-of-fact tone..

He turned around with dark eyes, passion filled in them which snatched the breath of her and she felt her whole body started acting differently under his gaze. His one single gaze is so tempting..

He walked seductively to her with the same intensity in his eyes and his face is covered with a devilish grin..

Manik : "because it's only me there..And I don't think I would let you wear your clothes.. You know I like you naked, you have the most beautiful body Mrs. M.. ".. he said slowly, softly in his husky tone after yanking her closer to him and her heart skipped a beat with his words.

Only this man can make such normal words so seductive and passion filled, she is turned on only by his words.

Nandini : "You are a control freak!".. she stated and pushed him..He laughed at her statement..

Manik : "Control is my middle name Mrs. M.. ".. he murmured with a evil grin..
