LUCY POV

"Well you see. . ." I started I needed an excuse and a good one

Everyone started looking at me and I just looked at them very awkwardly thinking for an explanation. I was thinking when I got an excuse, I pounded my fist on my hand and planted a smile on my face.

"I was walking and I tripped and cut my knee and I got it healed" I said as I smiled

"No,no,no you smell like you were bathing in it, if you just cut your knee it wouldn't smell as heavy" Natsu said

"Yes even I can smell it but I didn't want to be rude and point it out" Erza said and Gray nodded with what Erza said

Oh no this isn't going well I need to think of something and very quickly. Everyone kept staring at me and then I had the greatest idea. I turned around and started running and I looked back and the looked confused and once they got to their senses they got up and ran after me.

I didn't run as fast as I could until I was in the woods to where they couldn't see me. I ran all the way to town and I couldn't smell any of them near so I decided to go sight seeing. It was so beautiful I went to stores and it was so fun.

After a little bit of sight seeing I got hungry so I walked around until I found a fancy looking restaurant called "Fine Dine." I walked into the restaurant and a women walked up to me and asked me how many people will be attending and I said just me. The woman had short brown hair and blue eyes and was wearing a classic maid's outfit and so were all the other men and women who were working here.

This must be one of those maid and butler restaurants that they just newly opened up. The women sat me down at my table and told me that my waiter will be here shortly. She gave me my menu and I decided after five minutes looking at the menu that I would get the smoked salmon with a side of bread and butter. I was looking out the window when I heard someone approach my table, I turned around and punched the person in defense. After I punched the person I realized that I had punched my waiter.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry it's just that I am trying to avoid someone and I thought you were that person so I put up my defense" I said quickly

"It's okay, I know who you feel" The guy said as he sat up from the floor

He had his head down so all I could see was his spiky orange hair. When he picked his head up I saw his brown eyes and I immediately started crying. I got out of my chair and tackled him down with a hug. I didn't care if people were watching I was glad to have him back. He asked me if I wanted to take a walk with him and I said yes.

We walked out of the restaurant and started walking all over town doing some more sight seeing. The places he took me were so beautiful. I couldn't help but let my inner girlishness out, I wrapped my arms around his bicep. He has gotten bigger and stronger in these past years I wonder what he has been doing.

"Hey Lucy I hear that you have become a wizard" He said

"Yeah how did you know that" I reply

"Because I saw you at one of the games before" He said

"Oh so hows it been going with you" I ask

"It's been ok I just got my own apartment and as you can see I got a job too" He said as he nudged me

"Haha yea I can tell" I giggled

"Oh and I have news for you that might shock you" He said

"Let me guess you're a wizard too" I replied

"Yea how did you know" He said shocked

"I can feel the magic energy coming off of you" I said

We were walking for a while until we got tired so we found a bench. There was only one spot left and I sighed cause I really didn't feel like walking to find another one to sit on. As I was about to start walking again someone picked me up bridal style and place me on there lap. I already knew who it was so I playfully punched him in the chest. He laughed and soon after I laughed.

We started talking about what is going on in out lives and I didn't realize how dark it got because my eyes started feeling heavy. I rested my head on his chest and wrapped my arms around his neck and just snuggled up to him. I felt him rub my head and I just nestled my head in his chest more. I was about to go to sleep when I heard someone walk up to us.

I didn't have the energy to open my eyes so I just chilled and wait for the situation to settle down. I felt myself getting picked up and moving but it suddenly stopped.

"What's going on" I said tiredly as I opened my eyes

After I opened my eyes they stayed open from shock. It was Natsu and he looked extremely angry. I totally forgot about him, I hope he isn't mad at me for not being back. Why was I so careless I guess I always do that when I am around him. I jump down from his arms and walked up to Natsu.

"Natsu I am sorry that I didn't check in I was just s-" I said as I was cut off

"Lucy how could you just run off like that again, do you know how worried we were about you" Natsu said angrily

"I am sorry" I said in defeat Natsu and the others had every right to be mad at me, I mean I did run off

"You better be, we are running around the whole town looking for you and you are here running around with some idiot!" he yelled

"He is not an idiot Natsu!" I yelled back

"Well then who is he" He snapped back

"He is Luke and he was my childhood friend" I said

"Well I don't care if you knew him long ago or not you don't have time to fool around we have to train for the games!" he yelled at me once again.

At this point I was mad, no I wasn't even mad I was furious who does he think he is talking to me like that. I am not one of his precious toys I am a human being and I have my own rights and my own beliefs

"Well what about the time when Lisanna came back from edo, we threw a welcome back party for her so do you still want to talk about me playing around!" I snapped back at Natsu

He just stood there quietly with nothing else to say. He clenched his fists and looked down, why was he being so stubborn? He has never been like this before what has gotten into him.

NATSU POV

I couldn't say anything else because it was true. We had played around when Lisanna came back from edo. I just don't get why Lucy doesn't see that we were just worrying about her safety. But I was just terrified that something bad happened to her.

I hadn't realized this until a few days ago but I am madly in love with Lucy I just don't know why she doesn't see it. I bowed my head and clenched my fist I heard Lucy starting to walk off and that Luke guy following behind her. After they were long gone I turned around and started walking, I didn't care where I went as long as I can clear my thoughts and forget about all of this drama happening.

I think I should just forget about Lucy because it just seems like us together is going to cause a lot of problems. As I was walking I saw a little stand with food and cool souvenirs. I saw this girl in front of the stand wait. . . she looks familiar wait could it be

"Kazuko!" I yelled out

The girl turned around, so it is Kazuko I knew it, I ran over to her. I asked her where she has been and if her guild knew that she was back safely. She said that she was just about to go back to her guild but she completely avoided my question on where she has been weird because so did Lucy.

"Hello young one would you like to try a free sample" the old lady running the stand said

"Absolutely if I get free food I am in it!" I yelled and the lady just laughed

She pulled out this weird looking candy thing and gave it to me. I sniffed it and the candy smelt weird. Like there was something in it, but I didn't care because it was free food. I was about to eat it when Kazuko slapped it out of my hand.  I asked her what her deal was and she just looked pissed and I knew now not to get her angry. She looked over the the old lady and punched her in the face and sent her flying out of the stand.

"What is wrong with you, you just punched and innocent old lady!" I yelled at her

KAZUKO POV

I knew something was wrong with that old lady when I walked up to the stand and now she was going to die. I looked over to her and punched in her face and she went flying out of her stand and slid halfway across town. Natsu started yelling at me and I turned to face him.

"Natsu that old lady isn't and old lady" I said and he just looked at me

"Listen to her boy she will keep you safe hahahaha" The old lady said as she started walking towards us

"Natsu go this might get dangerous" I said

"No I can't let one of my friend get hurt in a battle" he said

"But we are in different guilds and you hate the guild I'm in" I said

"Well I might hate the guild and most of the people in it but you're different, you're nice and funny and so your my friend" Natsu yelled

"Aww that's nice now if you guys are done saying your vows can we please get back to this situation" The old lady said

"No problem but I may warn you things might get bloody" I said as I close my eyes and when I open them again I have no pupil only white appears

"Natsu I advise you cover your ears" I yell to him and he does what I say

"Death's song" I say calmly

It is going down and I can't make any promised that there won't be any death involved
