Iron Man Armored Adventures The Armors
Alright Final part this time I am doing all the armors, this will include the main armors Tony has made and any others like his. I'll do Tony's last.
Lets do the Iron Monger mech first.
The Iron Monger Mecha is a giant robot mech suit built by Stark International.
Using the Iron Man designs that Obadiah Stane acquired, he built the massive Iron Monger mech suit. It was first used to demolish a condemned building to make room for a new Stark manufacturing plant. O'Brian was the pilot for the mech, but he stops when he sees Iron Man holding a civilian, despite Obadiah's orders. Obadiah pilots the suit and continues demolishing the building, even though that old man came back to the building, passing him off as "collateral damage". Iron Man and War Machine try to stop him to no avail, until they realize that the suit needs outside computer control to ease operation of the complicated systems. Using a radio interference device, the Iron Monger's computer connection was severed and it tipped over when the armored heroes blasted it's leg.
The Iron Monger has been upgraded with an adamantium/vibranium alloy plating. Thanks to the mecha, Stark International has signed the biggest military contract in the world, eclipsing Hammer Multinational. Their board of directors almost made him the permanent CEO until Tony Stark presented them footage of his dealings with the Ghost. As a result, Stane was fired. Because of a similar phrase that both Tony and earlier, Iron Man said, Stane deduced his true identity. Wanting revenge, Stane stole the Iron Monger to go after him, unaware that Titanium Man put a remote control device on it. He kidnapped Pepper Potts to lure him out. Iron Man appears in the Hulkbuster Armor and War Machine saved Pepper. Stane had Iron Man at his mercy, but let him go after pleading from Whitney Titanium Man activated the remote control unit and sent it on a rampage, so he could be a hero by stopping him, winning Hammer Multinational the military contract. Stane breaks the mecha's controls and the Iron Monger falls onto the street and as a result, Stane was put in a coma.
Iron Monger was later used again by Madame Masque who was posing as Obadiah Stane. It tried to hurt Iron Man, but he shut it down using Extremis.
Features
The Iron Monger is a 30-foot tall, powerful, robotic mecha. Stane mentioned it had Hulkbuster armor tech inside of it. It could destroy military vehicles, the third unmanned Crimson Dynamo unit in one stroke, easily overpower Titanium Man, and hold its own against the Hulkbuster Armor.
Enhanced Strength: The armor could strike down Iron Man with one punch.
Enhanced Durability: It is impervious to attacks. It was unaffected when War Machine delivered its most powerful attack, something that at least Doctor Doom flinched at. It has been modified with an adamantium/vibranium armor plating, strengthening its massive damage resistance.
Flight: It is equipped with jet boots in the feet.
Weapons: It is featured with the following weapons:
Laser Cannons: It has laser cannons in the arms and right shoulder that could knock back both Iron Man and War Machine even with their force fields up.
Rocket Launcher: It has a rocket launcher on the left shoulder.
Gatling Guns: The Iron Monger has powerful Gatling guns in both of its arms.
Vibrational Shockwave: It can deliver a big shock wave of repulsor energy from its foot by stomping it on the ground.
Hologram Projector: It can project the face of the pilot in the center that can speak to people on the outside. It can also speak to people on the outside without the projector.
Other Features
It has a radio transmitter to speak to the person on the other end.
It is mentioned to have an eject function.
Weaknesses
Even though the Iron Monger is practically unstoppable, it's controls are too complicated to operate alone. It needs an outside link to a computer system so the pilot could control it more easily. By severing this connection, the Iron Monger is practically rendered useless. In Heavy Mettle, Stane was controlling the mech by himself, so its implied that this flaw has been removed.
Because of its massive size and weight, it can topple when one aims for the legs.
It isn't protected against Iron Man's Extremis.
This suit makes the 6 foot, 5 inches, and 600 to 800 pound Iron Monger armor in the MCU look like a freaking Baby. I mean look at this:
Thats a big robot but it does have its weakness.
Next let's do the Gaurdsmen.
The Guardsmen are armor users hired by Obadiah Stane to discredit Iron Man. They first appeared where they beat Iron Man to a crane accident. Force and Shockwave then stop Count Nefaria and his Maggia forces from robbing a bank before Iron Man could get there. Force and Shockwave then fight Count Nefaria who takes them down causing Iron Man to defeat Count Nefaria. Force and Shockwave then snitch on Obadiah Stane's plans to mass-produced the Guardsmen armor. Iron Man uses the Negator Packs on them, causing the crowd to drive him away. Obadiah Stane then makes a public service announcement for the Guardsmen planning to take down Iron Man and the upcoming Guardsmen Expo Center. Iron Man learns later that the Guardsmen caused the disasters for them to thwart, and that the armor pilots were former Maggia members. When the day of the Guardsmen Expo comes, Firepower is introduced as the latest Guardsmen. Iron Man appears and ends up forcing the Guardsmen to reveal their identities upon hacking their screen. This causes the three Guardsmen to attack Iron Man. The Negator Packs thrown on them don't work on them this time as Iron Man saves a reporter and her cameraman. The three Guardsmen end up overwhelming Iron Man until War Machine appears. Iron Man deactivates Firepower while Force and Shockwave surrender. Obadiah Stane later made a televised appearance stating that he had no idea that the three wearing the Guardsmen armor were criminals using fake identities. Lets take a closer look at each of them now.
Force:
Force (Clayton Wilson) is an armor pilot and wanted criminal hired by Obadiah Stane. Clayton Wilson is a former Maggia criminal who was hired by Obadiah Stane to pilot an armor that was designed solely from Iron Man Armor specs. He, along with his partner Shockwave (using repainted Stealth Armor) appear as public heroes and commercial mascots on behalf of Obadiah Stane. Force Armor: Force uses an armored suit that is a shoddy copy of Iron Man's. The suit's design resembles the Space Armor, only with a blue/white color scheme. It provides him with the following abilities:
Superhuman strength: The armor enhances his strength.
Flight: It has jets in the boots and on the back that allow flight.
Hand constructs: The gauntlets can construct giant, solid hands out of energy.
Repulsors: The gauntlets can shoot repulsor blasts.
Force field: The armor can form a force field around it.
Next Shockwave:
Shockwave (Lancaster Sneed) is an armored pilot and wanted criminal user hired by Obadiah Stane to discredit Iron Man.
Overview
Shockwave was former Maggia member who was hired by Obadiah Stane to be part of his Guardsmen along with Force. They set up crimes and disasters that they can stop before Iron Man to discredit him. When Iron Man found out who they were, he revealed their real identities, making them and their newest member, Firepower, attack Iron Man. With the help of War Machine, Iron Man stopped Firepower, and Force and Shockwave surrendered. Shockwave is also an Australian and has the adjoining accent.
Abilities
Shockwave Armor: Shockwave uses an armored suit that is a shoddy copy of Iron Man's. The suit's design resembles the Stealth Armor , only with a yellow/white color scheme. However, unlike the Stealth Armor, Shockwave Armor doesn't have the invisibilty function. It gives him the following abilities:
Superhuman Strength: It enhances his strength to superhuman levels.
Flight: It has jet boots that allow flight.
Vibrational Waves: The armor can generate shock waves from his gauntlets as blasts or as minor earth quakes.
Finally Firepower:
Firepower (Jack Taggert) is a Guardsmen member who was hired by Obadiah Stane.
Overview
At the Stark International Guardsmen Expo, Firepower is introduced as the third Guardsmen who's armor was made from the designs of the Hulkbuster Armor. After Iron Man hacks into the television revealing Force and Shockwave's identities, the armored criminals end up attacking him. Iron Man manages to take down Firepower by tearing out the armor's motor cables, deactivating it.
He and the other two were presumed to be in police custody.
Abilities
Firepower Armor: Firepower wears a battlesuit based off of Iron Man's Hulkbuster Armor only with a dark brown/dark red color scheme. It provides him with the following abilities:
Superhuman Strength: The armor's strength is far greater than Iron Man's.
Immense Durability: It gives the wearer immense durability.
Flight: The armor was never seen flying, but it is a strong possibility that it can.
Force Field: Firepower's armor can generate a force field that can block even Iron Man's unibeam or War Machine's rocket barrages.
Weapons: It is equipped with powerful weapons like:
Shoulder Cannons: The armor has retractable cannons that shoot laser beams and gatling guns.
Missile Launchers: It has missile launchers in the waist.
Terminax Missile: The armor has a Terminax missile mounted on its back. Stane says it has enough power to destroy a city block.
Now if I were to pick one of the Gaurdsmen armors I would actually pick Firepower. Mainly cause of the name and I love the Hulkbuster.
Next up Crimson Dynamo:
Crimson Dynamo I (the white one with a red star)
Enhanced Durability: The Crimson Dynamo was built to withstand the intense environment of the sun's atmosphere. It can withstand millions of degrees of heat. Because of this, it can withstand tremendous amounts of punishment without any apparent damage.
Enhanced Strength: It has enough strength to effortlessly lift an oil tanker truck with one hand. The enhanced strength of Iron Man is no match compared to the Crimson Dynamo.
Jet Propulsion: The armor has a jet on the back of the suit. It provides navigation in space and can be used for propulsion in an atmosphere.
Blow Torch: Used for various purposes. Most likely it is used if repairs are needed to the space station.
Laser: For some reason, the space suit has this one offensive weapon. Possibly used to destroy objects in space that threaten the Crimson Dynamo.
Life Support Mechanisms: The suit has slow drip chemical IV and other solar powered devices. This allows the pilot to survive for years.
Holographic Projector: Users can upload an image to project to them. Ivan chose to view an image of his wife and son.
Crimson Dynamo II (The black and red one)
Enhanced Durability: The second Crimson Dynamo has the same level of durability as the first, which means it can withstand tremendous amounts of punishment without any apparent damage.
Enhanced Strength: It has enhanced strength that is superior to that of Iron Man.
Lasers: It has laser cannons in the arms and both sides on the torso.
Missile Launcher: The armor has missile lauchers in its torso.
Electric Projector: On the center top of the armor, it has a projector that can emit shocking electric beams.
Crimson Dynamo 3.0 (same as II)
It's a fully automated armor that doesn't require a pilot.
Capabilities
Enhanced Durability
Enhanced Strength
Lasers
Rocket Launcher
Next up is Titanium Man:
Titanium Man is the result of "Project: Titanium". It is an armor manufactured by Hammer Multinational and used by Justin Hammer.
History
In Titanium vs. Iron, Justin Hammer uses the armor to destroy Iron Man, who is wearing his Stealth Armor, after he twice sneaks into his company and tries to delete the Iron Man specs that he bought from Ghost. Titanium Man easily overpowers Iron Man and critically damages War Machine. He chases them around the city and destroys Iron Man's empty suit. He spots the pilot and starts shooting missiles at him and misses. War Machine eventually recharges and Iron Man suits up in his Mark II armor. They fight Titanium Man and they shoot a continuous repulsor beam, setting his armor in flames. Iron Man explains when titanium is heated, it never stops burning. Hammer retreats to his headquarters where Blizzard cools down the armor, but it is now a melting wreck.
Titanium Man later resurfaces with a new titanium/vibranium alloy, thanks to Fix 2.0. Hammer uses the armor to steal a Stark International UI chip from thieves Black Widow and Hawkeye and almost destroyed them but were saved thanks to Iron Man.
Hammer later uses the armor in his latest attempt to discredit Stark International which resulted in a battle between himself, Iron Man, War Machine, and Iron Monger. He was blasted by Iron Man and War Machine into the atmosphere and landed in an unknown mountain range in the middle of nowhere, humorously yelling for help as his armor is motionless.
Justin later uses the Titanium Man armor to capture Iron Man and take his armor to his ocean fortress. When War Machine and Pepper showed up to help him. He ran to suit up and destroyed the Stealth Armor that Pepper was controlling and fights Iron Man and War Machine. They use the artificial cosmic ray weapon that Hammer earlier used on War Machine to attack the wearer inside the armor. He passes out after a few seconds after.
Justin Hammer has been receiving threatening messages from an unknown competitor. His increasing paranoia have drove him to attack Unicorn and Killer Shrike senselessly as Titanium Man. Unicorn was badly hurt and Killer Shrike escapes, only to be taken down by Iron Man and taken to jail. Hammer later captures Killer Shrike from his prisoner transport back to his lab for torture. He insanely holds a gun to his head, but Iron Man and War Machine disarm him. Justin reveals his force-field wall and zombifies Killer Shrike. Iron Man later reveals his plan. The ravings that he said to Killer Shrike revealed his true colors as a criminal. They were being broadcast all over the world by Fix 2.0. He did it as revenge for taking his body and turning him into a digital freak. Justin Hammer gets in his Titanium Man armor and unleashes a zombie gas bomb that is immune to Tony's Extremis on the city. Iron Man stops the gas with an incendiary bomb and stops Hammer's armor with Extremis.
Abilities
The Titanium Man armor is very powerful, it was able to easily overpower War Machine and the Stealth Armor (Though in Tony's defense, that armor was never designed for combat). It can even fight equally against the Hulkbuster Armor. Its known capabilities are:
Superhuman Strength: The armor enhances the user's strength immensely, allowing him to lift massive weights without straining himself.
Enhanced Durability: The suit is equipped with titanium armor plating. It can take extreme punishment in a fight without being damaged at all. Later, its armor plating was modified with a titanium/vibranium alloy, making the armor virtually indestructible.
Flight: This suit has jet boots that make it fly at incredible speeds.
Weapons: It is armed with the following weapons:
Repulsors: It can fire repulsor beams from the palms.
Laser Cannons: It has retractable laser cannons hidden in the shoulders and in the wrists.
Constrictive Rings: The laser cannon in his wrists can even project beams that form binding energy rings around a target, immobilizing it.
Chest Beam: It can project a beam from the chest power source.
Rocket Launchers: It is equipped with powerful rocket launchers in the arms.
Energy Blades: The wrists are equipped with retractable energy saw blades.
Energy Siphon: The helmet contains a hidden laser emitter in the face that can be used to siphon power from another armored suit into itself.
Force Field: The armor can erect a green-colored force field around itself.
Cloaking Function: It has cloaking functions that turn it invisible.
Sensors: It is equipped with advanced infrared sensors, scanners, and targeting systems. It can even see the Stealth Armor when its invisible.
Other Functions
It has a voice modulator to disguise the wearer's voice.
The armor is connected to a terminal that allows someone stationed there to assist the user and communicate with him.
It has an emergency backup generator in case of power loss.
Weaknesses
When the titanium armor plating is heated to a certain point, it will keep burning until it turns into molten slag and it cannot be extinguished. But after Fix 2.0 mixed the armor plating with vibranium, that design flaw was removed.
It's not as fast or as energy-efficient as the Iron Man Armor.
It is not impervious to Tony's Extremis.
Known Users
Justin Hammer
Justin Hammer is the owner and wearer of the Titanium Man armor. When he is in the suit, he masquerades himself as a simple hired employee of Hammer Multinational in armor to the public and his enemies.
Trivia
Titanium Man, which is basically a combination of the original character and Justin Hammer's Hammeroids from the film through piloted by Justin Hammer himself.
In the comics, the identity of Titanium Man is Boris Bullski, not Justin Hammer.
Alright we are almost done next up is the Iron Man Armor Mark IX:
The Hyperpulse Mark IX Armor or simply the Iron Man 2099 Armor is a futuristic energy armor created and worn by Andros Stark who took the name Iron Man after his grandfather's hero name. It is run by an operational system AI called J.A.R.V.I.S.

Alright lets wrap this up with the rest of the armors.
Rescue Armor:
The Rescue Armor, also known as the Stark Solutions X-51 Stealth Infiltrator Armor, was created by Tony Stark for Pepper Potts in her hero role as Rescue.
History
Pepper asked Tony for a suit of her own armor and Tony decided to make one, she kept bringing it up to Tony of the armor. In some episodes, Pepper did well in battles and Tony finally decided to make Pepper her own armor.
Before going to face the Mandarin in the tenth ring's temple in China, Tony surprised Pepper with this new suit and she was ecstatic. While Tony was explaining the safety protocols, she put it on and tested it out in the sky. Tony and Rhodey suited up to make sure she doesn't do anything reckless. They explained the new armor's capabilities until Tony's satellite detected Mandarin's rings. This is Pepper's first time to use the armor in the field of combat. The three went off to face him in China. They put up a good fight, but in the end, Gene has acquired all ten rings, giving him ultimate power over everything, then he teleports away. Pepper starts calling herself "Rescue", due to the fact that she always rescues her two friends from danger. They all agree with the new name.
Capabilities
Main Capabilities
Superhuman Strength: It increases the user's strength immensely. Rescue has shown to have been easily capable of lifting War Machine as he began to fall from the sky.
Enhanced Durability: The armor is highly resistant to all types of punishment. It can resist energy attacks while still standing.
Flight: The armor can hover and fly at incredible speeds through the use of boot jets.
Repulsors: These are concentrated energy beams that are emitted from the ports in the palms. The color of Rescue's repulsors are bright purple.
Unibeam: This is a stronger version of her repulsors which is emitted from power source on the chest. It can destroy or overwhelm almost anything in its path.
Energy Bombs: Also called "laser grenades" by Pepper Potts. They are fired from the shoulders and the arms.
Stealth Mode: Just like the Stealth Armor, the Rescue Armor has a stealth mode equipped inside it. It can turn invisible to the human eye and most scanners but drains a lot of energy and requires a sufficient power to keep the stealth mode on.
Other Functions
Comm Systems: Its communication systems allow it to talk to the user of the Armory computer terminal or another armor such as Iron Man or War Machine.
Voice Filter: It has a voice modulator to protect her secret identity.
Sensor Systems: It has sensors that can scan energy signatures or warn the user of incoming danger.
Onboard Computer: The Rescue Armor uses the same operating system that Iron Man uses.
Holographic Screen: Rescue can project a visual interpretation from her chest power source of whatever her armor system visualizes, including communications.
The Rescue Armor HUD color is purple, like Iron Man's is yellow and War Machine's is red.
Pepper remarked that the suit's Stealth Mode makes her feel like the Invisible Woman, a superhero and a member of the Fantastic Four.
The armor's color scheme is purple and white; rather than in the comics were the color is crimson and silver.
This was Pepper's first appearance in other media as Rescue.
Rescue has only appeared in the last three episodes of the series.
The armor slightly resembles Iron Man 3's Mark 42 armor.
She will appear in Marvel Avengers Academy
Next we got War Machine:
The War Machine Armor was created for fighting and combat. Rhodes found it and used it to take the Iron Man armor to Tony Stark and help him fight the Mandarin and Fin Fang Foom.
History
After the Stark compound was destroyed by the Tong and nearly all of the Armory's suits were destroyed, James Rhodes found the War Machine armor and used to deliver Tony's armor to him and aid him in fighting the Mandarin and the fifth ring's guardian, Fin Fang Foom. He had trouble in space, but he succeeded in delivering the armor, and as a side effect, he revealed Iron Man's true identity to Gene Khan.
They tried to fight Fin Fang Foom, but they didn't have much success. After Gene let himself get eaten to pass the test, he revealed himself as the Mandarin and easily took Rhodey down. Rhodey was knocked out cold for awhile during which Tony and Gene continued their battle. He stopped Gene from killing Iron Man and Gene tried to kill Rhodey and Pepper, but was stopped by Iron Man and was eventually defeated by him. Gene got away and Rhodey used the armor to fly him, Tony, and Pepper home.
Rhodes now uses the armor to help Iron Man with his superhero duties in Season 2. His first solo night was stopping a small-time robbery of jewels by the Maggia, Killer Shrike, and Unicorn. He later brought an injured Tony Stark to a hospital, under the cover story that he was in a car accident.
Capabilities
The War Machine isn't as fast as the Iron Man armor, but it is built for combat. It has greater protection and more powerful weapons. The repulsors and unibeam are red in color instead of blue.
Superhuman Strength: War Machine can lift massive weights. He could lift small aircraft, train cars, and push the giant dragon Fin Fang Foom into a wall, disorienting him for a short period of time. He can even help support the bow of the SHIELD Helicarrier with the help of the Hulkbuster Armor.
Enhanced Durability: The War Machine is highly durable. He can withstand being hit by a missile and a blast from Gene Khan, although the latter knocked him out for a moment.
Flight: The War Machine armor can fly by the use of jet thrusters on its boots, thighs, and its back.
Repulsor Gauntlets: The gauntlets have the abilities of:
Repulsors: War Machine is equipped with more powerful versions of the repulsors. One blast can destroy a helicopter.
Force Field: The armor can project a force field around itself to defend against attacks.
Secondary Propulsion: The ports can also double as jet thrusters.
Unibeam: It is equipped with a more powerful version of the unibeam.
Rocket Launchers: It sports shoulder-mounted rocket launchers that shoots rockets and Sidewinder missiles.
Missile Launcher: On the left shoulder, it sports a XXL Bunker-Buster missile that Rhodey states that nothing can stand up to its power.
Laser Cannon: The armor has a laser cannon on the right shoulder.
Gatling Guns: It has wrist-mounted gatling guns that are strong enough to incapacitate a helicopter. It can even shoot lasers.
Other Features
Onboard Computer: War Machine has access to the same computer that Iron Man relies on in his armor, it provides him information on opponents, surroundings, armor status, and other things that he requires. The computer's voice is provided by Lisa Ann Beley.
Voice Filter: This is used to hide his voice, it makes it slightly deeper and gives it a mechanical filter.
Temperature Control: The armor's temperature can rise to about 300 degrees. He used this to slowly break out of Blizzard's ice prison.
Backup Generator: War Machine has a backup generator aside from his main power source.
Sensors: This armor has sensors, but they aren't as advanced as Iron Man's.
Weaknesses
The War Machine armor isn't as fast as the Iron Man armor
It wasn't designed for operation in the coldness of space and depths of underwater. Tony later upgraded the armor to eliminate those weakness.
Trivia
The code to disengage the safety protocols is "Howard01".
This armor's HUD color is light red in Season 2.
It is odd that Tony would make this armor in this series, as he has displayed a severe dislike of creating weapons throughout the series. Maybe because he views his armors as neither good nor bad, it is how he uses them, and he uses them for good.
Rhodey has demonstrated a much darker personality when using the armor, such as threatening to drop Xin from the sky if he did not reveal the location of his friends.
Moving on is the arctic Armor:
The Arctic Armor is a variation of the Iron Man suit. (no duh)
History
Tony used his Arctic Armor in Best Served Cold. When Whitney caught a fatal illness from her mask, Tony used his Arctic Armor to go the Arctic Circle and find an abandoned Stark International outpost that has a mineral that he needs to make an antidote. But when Obadiah Stane used the villain Blizzard to retrieve it, he had other plans. Blizzard ambushed Iron Man, destroyed the only sample of ore, and left Iron Man for dead. However, Iron Man survived and started fighting Blizzard and a horribly delusional Whitney in her Madame Masque uniform. Blizzard was dispatched by Iron Man and he knocked out Obadiah Stane before Masque could kill him. Whitney was knocked out by him also and with the ore sample gone, Tony used the metal in his artificial heart to save her life. Later, both Tony and Whitney are shown to be alive and well.
The sonic disruptors inside the Arctic Armor were adapted and installed inside the gauntlets of the Iron Man Armor Mark II.
Capabilities
The Arctic Armor was designed with greater life support functions and generally resists freezing temperatures.
Superhuman Strength: The Arctic Armor grants its wearer superhuman strength.
Enhanced Durability: It provides protection against attacks and it generally resists freezing temperatures, even being completely encased in ice.
Flight: It is equipped for long-range flight but is said to not be as fast as the standard suit, requiring Tony to divert all power to the propulsion systems when he needs to get somewhere quickly.
Repulsor Gauntlets: The repulsor gauntlets' functions are:
Repulsors: They can project thermal energy.
Energy Shield: Iron Man can generate an energy shield to defend against stronger attacks.
Sonic Disruptors: The gauntlets have sonic wave devices can project a sonic pulse that can knock someone unconscious with a headache.
Unibeam: The unibeam can project a devastating beam out of thermal energy. It also has an arc light to serve as a flashlight in dark areas.
Heat Wave: The armor can faintly glow red and melt ice around it when it is frozen inside it.
Life Support: The Arctic Armor has greater life support functions. The wearer can withstand freezing temperatures and being encased in ice.
Trivia
Its specs were used in the Mandroids
Like in the comics, the Arctic suit has only been used once (not including flashbacks)
Taking off is the Space Armor
The Space Armor is a space variation of the Iron Man Armor.
History
The Space Armor made its debut in Fun With Lasers. When Tony heard that the Living Laser has returned and hijacked a space station that he could use to destroy entire cities, he flew into space to stop him, but only after taking a little detour with S.H.I.E.L.D. He entered the station and was taken by surprise by the Laser, he took some major punishment which damaged his oxygen reserves and Iron Man accidentally blew a big hole in the hangar which shot him into space. After barely finding a way to get back inside, he fought the Living Laser again, but Iron Man played on his inferiority complex to get him to enter the telescope he was going to use to destroy New York, which Iron Man had used to trap the Living Laser inside using its own mirrors.
Stark used his Space Armor in Doomsday to calibrate the settings of a satellite in space that he made to track down Makluan energy signatures in the world in order to find Mandarin.
Howard Stark equipped himself with the Space Armor in The Makluan Invasion Part 2: Unite! to attach his new quantum field neutralizer cannon to the Stark satellite, which will be used to temporarily disable the Makluan Rings. Tony used his Extremis to target the beam directly at the rings.
Capabilities
Superhuman Strength: It's just as strong as the standard armor. The armor increases the wearer's strength immensely to allow him to lift massive weights without much effort.
Enhanced Durability: It is extremely resistant against all types of punishment and can even completely resist the harsh conditions of outer space.
Flight: The armor has proplusion jets in the boots to fly in the air.
Repulsor Gauntlets: They have many functions.
Repulsors: It can shoot concussive blasts from the palms.
Computer Hacking: The gauntlets can plug into a computer using wires from its repulsors.
Unibeam: The power source on the chest can produce a powerful concussive beam that can overwhelm almost anything in its path.
Magnetic Manipulation: The armor can manipulate magnetic fields to attract small metal objects.
Expanded Propulsion System: The armor has rockets on its back that allow the armor to fly itself into space in just a few minutes.
Greater Life Support: It contains extended life support capabilities for operation in space.
Weaknesses
If the oxygen reserves are damaged while the pilot is in space, the pilot will have seconds of air left until imminent death.
Smashing into the next Spot is the Hulk Buster
The Hulkbuster Armor, is an armor used for heavy and deep duty fighting. In order to battle the Hulk upon his short return from space.
History
The Hulkbuster armor was revealed in Seeing Red. Tony created this armor some time before and he used it to break into the Project Pegasus facility to upload the Technovore virus and deal with the second Crimson Dynamo, resulting in its destruction.
It's used yet again in Uncontrollable. When the Hulk was rampaging around at an AIM base, Tony activated the Buster armor and tried to stop him, but without any success. He was approached by a Controller-possessed Rick Jones who put one of his disks on his helmet, brainwashing him, but not before knocking Rick out of his own state. With Tony's armor being locked and his voice filters shut off by Rhodey, the Controller used him to attack another AIM base, one that was guarded by MODOC. They easily overpowered all resistance, but the Hulk, Rick, and Pepper smashed in. When Hulk smashed Iron Man's controller disk, the Controller took over Rick and ordered the Hulk to tear off his helmet. Iron Man woke up just in time to blast the Controller to release Rick. Finally, the sight of both Iron Man and Hulk approaching him made the Controller so afraid that he fainted.
The armor was later shown exploding in Tales of Suspense Part 1.
The Hulkbuster armor returned and was used to battle Iron Monger and Titanium Man in Heavy Mettle. He and War Machine were able to subdue Iron Monger and blast Titanium Man into another region of the planet.
Iron Man uses Extremis to bring his Hulkbuster Armor to him to use to subdue the Hulk. He first uses it to save the SHIELD Helicarrier then fights the Hulk, but not even the Hulkbuster combined Tony's Extremis power can stop him. Hulk rips off the arm servos and knocks it down.
Capabilities
The Hulkbuster Armor was designed for maximum strength and durability at the cost of reduced mobility, presumed to be a mix of the original Crimson Dynamo Armor specifications and the Iron Man suit. It is used as a modular unit for his standard armor, connecting itself within the Hulkbuster. Its capabilities are the following:
Superhuman Strength: This armor was designed fight toe-to-toe with the Crimson Dynamo in combat. It has strength that allows it to push the Dynamo armor through several walls and its maximum strength is enough to hold off the Hulk.
Enhanced Durability: Its durability is also impressive, it can take lasers, missiles, and anti-aircraft weapons with absolutely no effect on it. The armor can also withstand a pounding from an angry Hulk with minimal damage. It is a strong possibility that it could withstand the temperature of the sun just like the original Crimson Dynamo suit.
Flight: It can hover and fly through the use of jet thrusters in the boots and a jet pack on the backside.
Repulsor Gauntlets: Its gauntlets have the following:
Repulsors: It has more powerful versions of the repulsors.
Energy Absorption: He can directly absorb energy through his repulsor ports.
Secondary Propulsion: It has propulsion jets inside its repulsor palms to use in flight.
Force Field: It can form a force field around itself and others. The Hulkbuster armor has the strongest shields out of all the Iron Man armors
Unibeam: It has a more powerful version of the unibeam. One blast at point-blank range was able to completely destroy the Crimson Dynamo Armor.
Rocket Launchers: It is equipped with rocket launchers in the waist.
Gatling Guns: It is also equipped with shoulder-mounted gatling laser blasters.
I really like this version of the hulk buster because of its design.
Sneaking up is the Stealth Armor:
The Stealth Armor is a variation of the Iron Man Armor.
History
Tony used this armor in Field Trip to sneak into Stark Tower and investigate his father's vault, but its power cells went dead while he was still in the building. After Tony barely managed to get out without getting arrested, he and his friends arranged a school field trip to find, repair, and get the Stealth armor out of the building. It has a lot of setbacks, but the plan was a success and they got it out without getting into serious trouble.
He used the Stealth armor again in Panther's Prey to follow an AIM hover transport and keep an eye out for the Black Panther without being seen. However, they were both discovered and the transport started shooting at them, resulting in the Panther being hurt and brought back to the Armory for recovery.
The armor was shown exploding by an overload in the season one finale, Tales of Suspense Part 1.
Iron Man later used a rebuilt Stealth armor to follow the Ghost when he stole his armor specs from the Armory in Ghost in the Machine. But he failed and the Ghost got away. He later found him and, enraged, beat him down. But Ghost delivers an ultimatum, destroy him and everyone knows Iron Man's true identity, which he is planning to do once he turns 18 and takes over Stark International. Iron Man lets him go.
Stark uses the Stealth Armor to spy on Stane and Hammer and to prevent evil use of his stolen Iron Man designs in several following episodes. After his first scuffle with Titanium Man, he upgrades the Stealth Armor to be as powerful as the Mark II armor.
Pepper used the Stealth Armor remotely in Hostile Takeover which later resulted in the suit's destruction.
In Doomsday, Pepper actually pilots the rebuilt Stealth Armor as opposed to remote-controlling it. She helps fend off chaos in New York City caused by portals appearing all over the world along with War Machine. Pepper proves to be a good pilot when out in the field.
In The Dragonseed, a cameo appearance was made, showing that it had been destroyed after Pepper's last (off-screen) piloted battle, which lead Tony to build Pepper her own suit of armor (the Rescue Armor). This armor is basically recolored and upgraded version of the Stealth Armor.
Description
In its first appearance, the Stealth Armor was initially similar to the original red and gold armor, but with a different chest-plate and a slightly different design. This armor had a similar pattern of lights to the Living Laser harness, leading some viewers to believe it was based off of the Living Laser technology. In its next appearance, it has a new design almost completely blue with red lights. Its color is similar to the color of the outfit Madame Masque wears, so it may have been based off of that tech, which may explain why it works much better than the original.
Capabilities
Superhuman Strength: It increases the wearer's strength to immense levels, allowing him to lift massive weights. It has later been upgraded for more strength for battle.
Enhanced Durability: It is capable of amazing resilience and protection from harm. It's resilience has been upgraded to be more battle-worthy.
Flight: It can hover and fly at incredible speeds through the use of boot jets.
Repulsor Gauntlets: The gauntlets have many functions.
Repulsors: Concussive force beams that are fired from the palms of the gauntlets.
Force Field: They can project a force field that defends the user and others from harm.
Sonic Cannons: It is equipped with sonic cannons to assault his opponents hearing.
Unibeam: The armor's power source on the chest can emit a powerful concussive beam.
Invisibility Function: The Stealth armor can become invisible to the human eye and undetectable to cameras and sensors, even those used by Stark International. The armor could even dampen the sound of his boot jet thrusters.
Magnetic Manipulation: The armor can manipulate magnetism to repel metal objects.
Hacking: It can use it hands to access doors to open.
Flare Launchers: It can launch flares from the back.
Weaknesses
Power Usage: It would appear the stealth capability severely drains its power over a short period of time, if using for a long time. He appears to have fixed this flaw when he upgraded the suit at the end of Titanium vs. Iron.
Notes
The Stealth suit seems to be the most used specialized suit, even for regular missions. (Such as when Tony's regular suit isn't available or when Pepper started piloting one)
The design of the armor is different from the comics.
Coming up is the Silver Centurion:
Silver Centurion Armor is a variation of the Iron Man suit.
History
This armor made its first appearance in Whiplash. Tony was concerned about where his enemies get their high tech weapons so he began building another suit, one that's more powerful. When the villain Whiplash threatened his friends and easily took down his standard suit, he put his new armor on and engaged him. The battle played out with both Tony and Whiplash evenly matched. He had trouble at first, but Iron Man won by blasting Whiplash into a power station that blew up his robotic arm.
It was later seen in Don't Worry, Be Happy when Stark lowered it from his armory to retrieve his armor that was abandoned.
Capabilities
The Silver Centurion armor is stronger and more powerful than the standard armor. Its capabilities are:
Superhuman Strength: The Silver Centurion is equipped with larger gauntlets to increase the armor's own strength.
Enhanced Durability: The suit protects against damage and it could better withstand Whiplash's electric whips without getting its circuits fried.
Flight: It flies through the use of boot jet thrusters.
Repulsors: Its repulsors are stronger than the standard armor.
Unibeam: The unibeam is much more powerful than the standard armor.
Trivia
This version of armor was never named the first and only time it was actually used. But from the coloring, it's obvious what the armor is supposed to be.
It appears that he attached the Thermal Gauntlets to the Silver Centurion Armor.
Small little off topic part lets talk about the Thermal Gauntlets:
The Thermal Gauntlets are external arm components for the Iron Man Armor.
Capabilities
The gauntlets grant Iron Man:
Enhanced Strength: They allow Iron Man 5x more strength than usual. That's enough for him to punch Blizzard down through a floor of a building.
Thermal Energy Repulsors: The repulsors can project project a stronger version of them. This is possible by thermal energy boosts.
Energy Shield: They can also make Iron Man's shield out of thermal energy.
Almost done now here we have the Mk2 armor:
The Iron Man Armor Mark II is the latest and most powerful Iron Man Armor yet. Tony Stark uses it to replace the Mark I in Season 2. It is also called his Extremis Armor since he took the Extremis serum.
Overview
In The Invincible Iron Man Part 2: Reborn, After the Mark I armor was destroyed by Whiplash, he broke out his newly made Mark II armor. It is a stronger, faster, and better version of the original suit.
During Extremis, Tony takes a tech-based version of the Extremis drug used by Mallen to increase his biology, fix his damaged heart, enhance his biology and reaction time, and gain technopathic connectivity with all forms of digital technology. He can control his armor and suit up without touching it, even from a distance.
Capabilities
It is armor potentially has all of the same abilities as his old suit, only better, stronger, and more advanced with a few new features.
Main Capabilities
Superhuman Strength: The suit increases the wearer's strength immensely. Iron Man is capable of lifting massive weights like water tower silos, train cars, support beams, helicopters, and steamrollers with minimal effort. At maximum power, Iron Man can lift an entire crane, but just barely. The Mark II is now stronger than his previous suit.
Superhuman Speed: The armor is capable of moving and reacting at high speeds, even when it's not in the air. His reaction time increased after Tony took the Extremis serum.
Enhanced Durability: The Iron Man suit is extremely resistant to all kinds of punishment. The Mark I can withstand heavy arms fire, electrical shocks, fire, extreme temperatures, high-powered lasers, heavy impacts, energy blasts, and such with only minimal damage. The Mark II is now more durable than his last suit. It even has refractory coating in the helmet that can reflect immediate-strike repulsor rays. It is made from an advance polyresin iron that Tony had made stronger. It can withstand even the most powerful attacks.
Flight: The armor can hover through the use of boot jets and it allows him to fly at incredible speeds. The jets provide enough power to help lift an entire crane. The jets are even fast enough to fly into outer space in only a few moments. The Mark II's gyro stabilizers are better than the ones in his old suit, making it more agile and stable while in the air. This armor is capable of flying to space and most probably can fly underwater.
Repulsor Gauntlets: The gauntlets have many functions like:
Repulsors: These are his most iconic weaponry. They are concentrated energy beams that he ignites from the ports on his gauntlets. They can be emitted as constant beams or rapid beam fire. They are based on magnetic principles and they are designed to repel standing structures with great force and can be amplified to vaporize and disintegrate matter. The repulsors of the Mark II have become stronger than the Mark I.
Force Field: The repulsors can generate a spherical energy shield around the user and others near him. The shield itself is made out of repulsor energy. The force field can be expanded from the suit to repel or blast any object or energy from all directions. The Mark II can now form a force field around a targeted person or object from a distance, containing it inside the field. The force field at full power and when power is rerouted to it is strong enough to contain an explosion that would wipe out the entire Eastern Seaboard. It can also be used to suspend a target in the air. It is especially powerful when power is rerouted to it and can withstand any attack.
Secondary Propulsion: In addition to his boot jets, Iron Man has another set of propulsion in his repulsor ports.
Flamethrowers: The gauntlets have built-in flamethrowers inside the wrists. The flames are so strong, they can overpower the cold generation powers of Blizzard or Mandarin's fifth ring in moments.
Sonic Disruptors: This function was adapted from the Arctic Armor. The gauntlets can switch to special sonic disruptors that can release a sonic wave that knocks a person unconscious. It was also used as a concussive wave to destroy incoming rockets.
Sonic Cannons: The disruptors can also change to sonic cannons to be used offensively on opponents to assault their hearing or to shatter diamond-hard crystals.
Unibeam: This is a stronger version of his repulsors which is emitted from power source on the chest. It can destroy or overwhelm almost anything in its path. However, it rapidly drains the suit's power, so Iron Man only uses it sparingly, however, it should be noted that the upgraded armour uses better power cells so the unibeam can be used more than the ones on other suits. It can also emit a sonic wave.
Rocket Launchers: The Mark II has small, but powerful rockets hidden in the shoulders. Stark says that they're accurate up to 2,000 feet.
Magnetic Manipulation: The suit can manipulate magnetic fields to move or deflect small, metal objects.
Sensor Systems: This allows the wearer to see and scan everything in front of him on the Mark II HUD. The suit's sensors scan through the electromagnetic spectrum, can zoom in on areas, uses sonar and radar, detect life signatures and faint sounds, scan through air displacement, and analyze through motions.
Onboard Computer: An internal artificial intelligence operating system that provides strategies, background information on opponents, surroundings, the status of the suit, and warns the wearer of incoming danger or when he is being targeted by a weapon system. It can also hack into any form of computer.
Life Support: The armor can sustain the wearer's life in hostile environments for an indefinite period of time. The Mark II's life support was implied to even help the pilot's natural healing process if he's hurt.
Comm Systems: Its communication systems allow it to talk to the user of the Armory computer terminal, talk to War Machine and Rescue, scan the news and police reports, hack into radio frequencies, and establish a cellphone connection to the person on the other line or three-way.
Other Capabilities
Voice Filter: This is used to hide his true identity. The voice modulator slightly deepens his voice and gives it a mechanical filter. The audio can be shut off remotely and it also can be routed so that the person in the Armory terminal can speak through the armor.
Power Reroute: Iron Man can re-route his power from his systems to boost other suit functions, like strength, jets, repulsors, force fields, the unibeam, etc. When power is rerouted to the forcefield it can withstand even the most powerful attacks. When power is rerouted to the Unibeam it can destroy even the most powerful enemy.
Satellite Tracking: The armor can connect to a global satellite tracking system to locate anything or anyone on the planet.
Remote Control: The armor can be piloted remotely from the Armory computer terminal, another Iron Man armor, and from Stark's palm pod.
GPS Signal: Each component of the armor, like the helmet has a GPS signal that can be tracked.
Negator Pack Dispensors: The gauntlets have hidden compartments that hide his Negator Packs to use on enemy battle-suits. The packs themselves don't do anything to the person inside his suit, but the armor they wear is disabled.
Flare Launchers: It can launch flares from the back of the torso.
Telepathic Defenses: The suit has built-in defenses installed into it to prevent M.O.D.O.C.'s mental powers from assaulting his mind again. His armor is also too resistant to be penetrated by a Controller Disk.
Lockdown Mode: The suit can lockdown and prevents anyone on the outside from removing the armor. It can even deliver electric shocks to anyone who touches it. It also deactivates the armor's GPS signal.
Arc Light: The suit's chest power core can emit a search light.
Extremis Link to Armor: Since Tony took the Extremis serum, he has a bio-cybernetic link with his armor and all digital technology, like it was another extension of his body. His simple thoughts allow him to control his armor's functions, allowing him to operate it faster and more efficiently. He can control the suit, its components, and his specialty armors with his mind without touching them, even when he is far away. He can also control any type of digital technology and computers, no matter how far the range is.
Storage Compartments: On the right hip side, it opens a radiation-proof, high-density, lead-lined storage facility for containing small items, such as the Makluan Rings. They are also shielded from detection technology, even one made by Doctor Doom. Iron Man calls them "super-pockets".
Trivia
The design of the second suit is similar to the Extremis Armor from the comics. It is also similar to The Silver Centurion Armor from Season 1.
Tony reveals in The X-Factor that he has more than one Mark II suit. Tony also revealed that this suit is made out of polyresin iron. We do not know whether this is true for all other suits he has created.
Finally lets Wrap this up with the first Armor ever the Mk1:
The Iron Man Armor Mark I is the first suit of armor Tony uses to battle injustice as Iron Man. After this suit was destroyed by Whiplash, Tony replaces it with the Mark II armor.
History
Tony Stark creates his first armor almost completely on his own (with some of Rhodey's help.) and planned to show his dad, but his plane blew up and his father disappeared. Tony survived the worst of the crash thanks to his gauntlet's force field, but his heart and chest area were severely damaged. Tony put on his armor and had it fly him on auto pilot to Rhodey and put an implant in his heart. Tony first used his armor to spy on Obadiah Stane and found out that he weaponized his Earth Mover. When a runaway train was headed for Stark Tower, Iron Man managed to stop it and save many lives in the process. This incident spreads across the wire and the public calls him "Iron Man", an identity that Tony adopts and becomes a superhero.
In Man and Iron Man, the suit briefly gained sentience after a combination of upgrades mixed with the damage from a fight with Whiplash. In this state, it knocked Rhodey out, when he was going to disassemble the armor. Its primary directive was to protect Tony Stark, and to this end, it went as far as to encase Stark inside the armor permanently since Stark kept looking for trouble. It attempted to kill Rhodey, for which Stark took the blast, frying his heart plate. As Stark went into cardiac arrest, the armor sacrificed its sentience to save its creator's life.
In Season 2, Stark armors up for the first time in months. He uses the armor to save Justin Hammer from Whiplash. Later in the same episode, when Iron Man tried to save Obadiah Stane from Whiplash, in the battle, the Mark 1 armor was completely destroyed by him. Tony Stark ejected from the armor before it blew up, but he was badly injured. He recovered and the Mark I was replaced with the Mark II.
In Iron Man 2099, the armor made a brief cameo appearance while Tony was trying to test his new nano virus chips, when the Mark 2 repulsor was unable to send the nano-chips cause they were delicate, Pepper refered to Hawkeye for help.
Capabilities
Main Abilities
Superhuman Strength: The suit increases the wearer's strength immensely. Iron Man is capable of lifting massive weights like water tower containers, cars, train cars, support beams, and steamrollers with either minimal or no effort. He could even create small fissures in the ground by punching it (although it was frozen by Blizzard first). At maximum power, Iron Man can lift an entire crane, but just barely
Superhuman Speed: The armor is capable of moving and reacting at high speeds even when it's not flying.
Enhanced Durability: The Iron Man suit is extremely resistant to all kinds of punishment. The armor can easily withstand bullets. It can also withstand rockets, missiles, electricity, fire, extreme temperatures, high-powered lasers, heavy impacts, energy attacks, and such with only minimal damage.
Flight: The armor can hover and fly through the use of repulsor jets. High-speed boot jets that allows flight at speeds up to Mach 2 and higher. The armor also has gyroscopic stabilizers in the chestplate that give the user amazing aerial agility. The jets are strong enough to fly into outer space.
Repulsor Gauntlets: The gauntlets have many functions like:
Repulsors: His most iconic weaponry. They are concentrated electrical/repulser fusion beams of repelling light energy that he shoots from the ports on his hands. Iron Man uses these to blast objects and dissolve matter.
Force Field: His main defensive technology. The repulsors can generate an energy shield around himself and others near him. It can also be expanded into a large repulsion wave that pushes aside harmful forces. The shield is strong enough to block three Earth Mover lasers before the shield goes critical.
Secondary Propulsion: In addition to his boot jets, Iron Man has another set of propulsion in his repulsor palms. However, he uses this function sparingly.
Energy Absorption: He can directly absorb energy through his repulsors. He can release that energy in the form of a stronger unibeam.
Unibeam: This is a stronger version of his repulsors which is emitted from power source on the chest. It can destroy or overwhelm almost anything in its path. However, it rapidly drains the suit's power, so Iron Man only uses it sparingly. It can also emit a magnetic pulse to push back an enemy.
Magnetic Manipulation: Iron Man can use magnetism to levitate, attract, or repel metal objects near him at will, like laser guns or a traffic mirror.
Sensor Systems: This allows the wearer to see and scan everything in front of him on the armor's heads-up display. The armor's sensors can see the electromagnetic spectrum, scan the environment and opponents for weaknesses, and warn the pilot of incoming danger.
Life Support: The armor can sustain its wearer in hostile environments for an almost indefinite period of time.
Onboard Computer: An internal artificial intelligence operating system that assists the wearer and answers his questions. The computer's voice is voiced by Lisa Ann Beley.
Comm Systems: Its communication systems allow it to talk to the person at the Armory computer terminal, scan the news and police reports, hack into radio frequencies, and establish a cellphone connection to the person on the other line and more.
Other Abilities
Neural Interface: The user can pilot the armor just with his mind and body. If the pilot wants to fly or use the weapons, he needs only to think the action and it will happen. Iron Man can also randomize the sequence of the armor's neural interface to protect himself from mental attacks for a few moments.
Voice Filter: This is used to protect his identity. It slightly deepens his voice and gives it a mechanical filter. The audio can be shut off remotely and it also can be routed so that the person in the Armory terminal can speak through the armor.
Power Reroute: Iron Man can re-route his power from his systems to boost other suit functions, like motors to increase his strength or the jets to boost his propulsion.
Autopilot: It has an autopilot that can fly the wearer back home if he is incapacitated or asleep.
Remote Control: The armor can be piloted remotely from the Armory computer terminal, other Armors, and from Stark's palm pod.
Translators: It can translate languages and it can even read lips.
Roller Skates: Tony installed "electrostatic energy racers" in the armor's boots to act as a secondary transportation system if the boot jets are disabled.
Arc Light: The power source on the chest has a flashlight built into it.
Computer Interface: The armor's computer can hack into other computers to retrieve information and into satellites used by NASA or S.H.I.E.L.D.
Emergency Lockdown: The armor can lock itself up to prevent others from opening it, including the wearer. While it's in lockdown mode, the wearer's life is sustained, but he can't move at all.
Holographic Video: When the armor became sentient, it could bring up a recording of what it has seen and heard on a holographic screen from its chest power source.
Electromagnetic Pulse: Iron Man used this to disperse Technovore's nanomite body.
Self-Destruct: After he almost lost the armor to Obadiah Stane, he put this function into the armor. The resulting explosion is large enough to destroy the entire Project Pegasus compound.
Ejection: This function saved Tony from being destroyed with his armor at the hands of Whiplash.
Trivia
The Iron Man Armor Mark I is technically a prototype because it was the first armor Tony ever built.
The armor is similar to the movie version of Mark III, though with a less complex design and more red.
Tony designed the armor with expansive joints and extendable plating, which means it will fit anyone, including people that are taller than him, like James Rhodes and Happy Hogan.
The passcode to activate the armor is "Stark02".
In the beginning of Enter: Iron Monger multiple Mark I armors were seen being destroyed by Crimson Dynamo 3.0 armor as a part of the test for Iron Monger armor.
And that is every single Iron man armor in armored adventures as well as my discussion about the series
I hope you all have enjoyed and if you did star and comment
