FLAME THE HEDGEHOG SUPER VOLUME 8

Flame and Crash are ready to fight for Atlas.

In the Mewni dimension, the Jackal has got away from the Butterfly castle, he was recovering for a day ever since his defeat. He was originally going to return back in base to meet up with God of Infinity, but no matter what he tries to defeat the heroes, he'll end up losing.

He lies down where the nearest tree is, he still needs to recover. His right hand was burned and permanently damage from the gauntlet snap's he perform.

The Fallen Jackal remembers what he had said to Flame when he reveal himself.

Infinite: Quite surprise right? No? Well you should not be surprise.

Flame: C-C-Crash? Wait? Why you look like him!?

Infinite: I am from the future timeline where you failed at saving all the things I love, forgetting to save me that I needed help. You say that friends never turns back no matter which situation it was, but.. YOU LIED TO ME!

Flame has nothing to say, but he did remember that he said that friends never turns their own friends back.

Infinite: Nothing to say, huh, should of know. Anyway, I am out right now.

Flame: Infinite, don't do this!

When the Jackal looked at his right hand, he can almost feel the power he used to have when having all Infinity Stones, he thinks he can surpass God of Infinity with the amount of power the last gain. But that power was gone.

The only piece he has got is the little piece of Ruby's power. Infinite thinks that he can go on his own journey rather than become one of Infinity's best henchmen.

Infinite: There's no point of me being in Infinity's side. The boss didn't even bother to get me back when I failed.

Infinite slams his fist to the tree from behind, just as the tree breaks down and falls to the ground on the other side.

Infinite: This dimension has magic... perhaps there is a magic to repair Ruby's power- No wait, adorbs the Phantom Ruby's power into my very own body without the need of the gem.

The Jackal smirk, he has one chance of getting his power back. He later notices a fight is happening, a fight between Meteora and Lord Reaper. It looks like Meteora is overwhelming Reaper with the new power boost she has gained, thanks to Anti-Flame of course.

The mighty emperor shoots as many death beams as he can to stop Meteora, however, none of them were affected. Meteora punches Reaper so hard and pins him to the ground twice the force she later did, Meteora continues doing lots of heavy blows at Lord Reaper. The fight was around 20 minutes and Reaper managed to still fight, despite his weakened state.

Reaper has enough of this and quickly powers up to his Golden Form, knocking Meteora away from the force Reaper powers up. Reaper gets to his feet and gains a Golden aura.

Lord Reaper: You dare to push my limits off, even more, guess I have no choice but to be in this form that I am now in. Behold, this is Golden Reaper, the last thing you'll ever see!

As Reaper charge towards at Meteora with a comeback blows at her, the two now even match. This is Infinite's time to get in the Butterfly castle and find someone to get his powers back, he runs his way to get to there.

Reaper and Meteora clash punches in such a strong force, Reaper knocks Meteora back and hold her with his telekinesis, he slams her up and down numerous times, when Reaper's done that, he fires his powerful energy blast to give critical damage at Meteora.

When the smoke clears out, Meteora was seen to have tank those attacks and even gotten stronger, Anti-Flame gives Meteora her last power boost before he heads to another dimension to mess around. This can't be good for Reaper's cases, Meteora fire her soul rays at Reaper, which he dodges it since he already knows what it's capable of doing.

Meteora easily punched Reaper all the way to where the Butterfly castle is before Meteora could use her soul rays at Reaper. Flame stops her from preventing doing it, she looks and sees Flame was in his Super Blue form.

Flame: I'll take it from here!

Flame straight went to Kaio-Ken on top of his Super Blue form, as Meteora tries hitting him, but he avoids it with his speed alone. The red hedgehog fires every energy blast he has at Meteora, it was able to hurt her only a little. Meteora fires her soul rays to get Flame, but he dodges it, knowing what the soul rays can do.

Flame: Not going happen!

When Meteora was about to charge at him, Flame stops her by using the new Gravity technique that pins her to the ground only for 20 seconds. He releases his kameha wave at her when the time hits 10 seconds, doing massive damage to her.

Flame looks and sees if Meteora survives it, 10 seconds has passed. Suddenly, Meteora has suddenly gotten stronger as she punches Flame, right in the face, sending him to where the castle is.

Flame: O-Oww... that punch was very strong.

She powers up even more to her strongest, he gets up slowly to get back in a fight, before noticing it, Star hugs Flame tightly, a sign that she miss him a lot. The red hedgehog blushes, he looks and see Tom and Marco was there.

Flame: S-Star...

Star: It's great to see you again Flame!

Flame smiles.

Tom: Uh Flame, what's going on with Meteora?

Flame sees that Meteora gain a purple aura as she was her way to the castle, but was confronted by River.

Flame: I am guessing she has gained a new hidden power.

Lord Reaper: It's Anti-Flame.

They looked back and see Reaper was still alive, still in his Golden form.

Lord Reaper: He left before he gives the last power boost to Meteora.

Marco: This can't be good!

Lord Reaper: Ha, no sh!t. Not even me nor Flame, even in our weakest state, we can't take her down.

Flame: But we got to try!

Lord Reaper: If you wish for a death wish, then sure, be my guess.

Star: Guys...! You too will take down Meteora. *looks at Flame* Promise me to stay alive?

Flame: Heheheh, why of course. We'll give everything we got to stop her. Wait, what about you?

Star: Me, Tom, and Marco will go somewhere safe.

Lord Reaper: *to himself* Cowards.

Meanwhile with Infinite, he was climbing up the wall of the castle, not looking down to see what's going on.

Infinite: That thing is strong, whatever it is. I better stay out of it.

Infinite stops and sees Eclipsa in a room. He gets in the room, in a bad landing position.

Infinite: Ugh, crud, if that thing gets near me, I am toast.

Eclipsa: That thing is my daughter.

Infinite: Your daughter? You better explain to yourself woman.

Eclipsa explains to Infinite what happened to Meteora and why she is after the castle.

Infinite: Damn... not going lie, but she might do the right thing to get revenge.

Eclipsa: But what she's doing is the wrong thing! She can't just do that to get back the throne.

Infinite: Looks like what we said has different answer... I like it.

Eclipsa: Now, what do you want?

Infinite: Do you think you have a spell to repair this?

Infinite brings out the final remaining piece of the Phantom Ruby, this got Eclipse's attention when she sees the broken gem pieces.

Eclipsa: What's this am I ask?

Infinite: That is the Phantom Ruby you are asking, a powerful gem. I want you to, not only repair the gem but to put in Ruby's power into my own body so the power is mine. Do we have a deal?

Eclipsa: Only if you get me out of this. Then yes.

Infinite smiles, he uses his tail to break the chain out of Eclipses hands. She was surprised by Infinite's base strength as shown.

Eclipsa: Thank you.

Infinite: Hmph, no prob. Now, do your thing?

Eclipsa: Oh right.

Eclipsa then uses one of her spells at the broken Ruby's gem, as a purple aura was formed around the gem pieces. The gem piece was finally fixed and then the gem energy was placed inside Infinite's body, giving him the power from the Phantom Ruby's gem.

Infinite can feel the strength and the power that is being placed in him.

Infinite: Ah I can feel the power once again. Thank you, may I get your name, miss?

Eclipsa: My name's Eclipsa. What's yours?

Infinite: ...Infinite.

Eclipsa: What a unique name.

Infinite: Thanks.

Eclipsa: Where are you going to head in?

Infinite: To teach your daughter a lesson.

Meanwhile inside the castle, Flame and Reaper were fighting off against a much more powerful Meteora. When she was firing her soul rays at the mighty emperor, Flame kept firing multiple energy blasts behind Meteora. Then Reaper's fire another multiple death beams at her when she was distracted, Flame powers up more and fire his kameha wave at her when she was distracting again.

When she was hit by the blast, Meteora grazes Flame with her soul rays, he dodges, but that makes Flame unguard as she catches him and pins him to a wall. She blasts her soul rays at Flame again, it was much harder for Meteora to even tried to take his soul, even at his weaken state. In the end, Meteora was unsuccessful on taking Flame's soul away. 

Flame: What reason do you have to do this? It's not like Reaper pushes your limits way off!

Meteora: Star's family ruined everything!

Flame: That's from the past, we can fix it together! Just hear me out-

Meteora: You can't fix what Star's family has done!

Flame: Before you kill me, I just wanna say that... I am Star's boyfriend! Wait, why did I ever say that!?

Meteora: Is that so...?

Flame nodded. He straight up powers up heavily that knocks her away, but instead, Flame wasted all his energy as he was inverted back to his base form. He still weakened as his body couldn't handle more power from Flame, he definitely needs recovering. Before Flame could react, Meteora kicks Flame off to the wall very hard.

Reaper sees this, this was bad news for him. When Meteora was about to fire her soul rays at the mighty emperor, it was stopped by a powerful energy blast that was revealed to be Infinite, who seems floating in mid-air.

Infinite: Sorry to break in, but I am going to teach her a very lesson.

Lord Reaper: And may I asked who you are?

Infinite: Name's Infinite.

Meteora: Oh look, another bug for me to crush.

Infinite: This will be interesting.

Infinite uses his power to create multiple illusion at her, confusion her what she's saying. Using the gravity ability, Meteora is now floating as there is no gravity on the ground.

Lord Reaper: Such power I see.

Meteora powers up even more, knocking Infinite away. Reaper uses his telekinesis to hold her again, he even fires multiple red energy blast at him to do damage on her.

But she breaks free easily, Reaper can't be sure if he can handle her even more. Infinite summons 30 cubes and throws it at her, doing another damage on her before she could perform any action.

Infinite: It's not effective against her, her power is rising quickly.

Lord Reaper: I seem to notice that.

Infinite: Well guess what? You are on your own right now.

With that being said, he left with flight, leaving Reaper alone against Meteora. Before she could do anything at the mighty emperor.

Star: Winterstorm Hyperblow!

Star blasts Meteora with a blast of ice and snow. Reaper notices Star is in her Mewberty form, something that Reaper hasn't seen before. This gives Reaper the chance to use his telekinesis again to hold her while Star does damage on her.

Lord Reaper: Hurry!

Star: Right! Cupcake Blast! Strawberry Annihilation!

She blasts those attacks at Meteora.

Star: Supersonic Leech Bomb!

Star blasts Meteora with explosive leeches, doing another damage on her. Meteora powers up again to break free from Reaper's telekinesis, knocking Star away.

Lord Reaper: Crud.

Meteora: All of you will regret, getting in my way!

As she grabs Star, who is weakened from the powerful force she powers up.

Meteora: I got you now Butterfly.

Before she could use her soul rays, a massive power-up was both heard and seen, they all looked back and see Flame was getting up slowly, with his quill got spikier and more solid, his eyes take on a more stern, defined shape, sporting silver-colored irises and visible pupils.

Star: F-F-Flame...?

When the powering up is done, Flame then gains a complex silver, purple and blue aura consisting of rippling, fire-like energy, complete with sparkling particles traveling upwards, this was Ultra Instinct Omen Flame. Meteora drops Star to the floor, she has never seen a state like this before. UI Flame instantly sped up in front of Meteora without her noticing it.

Meteora: Just who the heck you are supposed to be!?

When she was about to strike a punch at him, Flame dodges it and use one punch to knock her to the wall hard, the strength difference is way separate to even compare.

Star: Couldn't it be....

She became to have a flashback when Flame was fighting off against Infinite, Black Flame, and Solaris in that state. This was the same form that was used. Flame looks at Star for a moment, Meteora fires her soul rays at Flame, which doesn't do anything at all. Flame charges at her for an attack.

Lord Reaper: You know what form Flame has?

Star: Yeah. But I don't know the name of it.

Lord Reaper: Let's get outta here, Flame can handle this.

Star nod, she hopes that Flame can end this all. During the fight, Meteora tries to punch and kick at Flame, everything she has against him. But Flame kept dodging it easily like it's nothing, she gets more pissed off and fires another soul rays at him, but Flame cancel her attack like it's nothing.

Meteora: How!?

Meteora continues trying to attack Flame, but the red hedgehog still dodge it easily, she fires her soul rays at him but deflects it away. This state of Ultra Instinct Omen Flame is MUCH much much stronger then the obviously Ultra Instinct Flame obtain.

Flame: Anger doesn't solve anything, it will only build up to nothing. What you're doing isn't fixing anything at all.

Meteora: Shut up!

She slams her fist at Flame, but he catches it with ease.

Flame: Look... I don't find you as a villain, there's no reason for me to end you. Taking away the stuff Star's family has isn't going to solve anything, at best, it's making it worse, and how are you going to fix that sort of problem?

She tries to think of a reason to counter that, but Meteora hasn't thought of a good reason.

Flame: You can't change the past, but you can change your future to make things better in life. You can do other things besides taking the throne out of from the Butterfly's family.

??: He's right.

They looked back and see Eclipsa has her parasol.

Meteora: Mama?

Eclipsa: You can't do this, Meteora!

Meteora: But they... This... This should all be ours! They stole it from us!

Flame: And what's your plan really? Destroying everything in your path?

Meteora: Something like that.

When Meteora was about to use her soul rays when Flame was off guard. WIth just a glare, sending invisible punches at Meteora, doing massive damage on her, from those attacks Flame deliver, Meteora could no longer win against Flame. The red hedgehog has no reason to finish this at all.

Eclipsa: *tearing up* Black Velvet Inferno...!

Eclipsa blasts Meteora with a beam of dark-blue light and light-blue butterflies. The energy wraps around Meteora in the shape of a sphere.

Flame: *looks at Meteora* What are you doing?

Eclipsa: What I had to do to stop this.

Meteora: *eyes stop turning red* M-Mommy...?

The sphere closes, and Meteora's silhouette is seen through it.

Flame: I have one special attack that shall break the curse in her, but it'll waste most of the heat in this state I am in.

Eclipsa: A curse?

Flame: I'll explain later.

Flame's palm begins to form a powerful energy ring that begins to increase in size. He throws the energy size ring at the sphere.

Meteora: *muffled* No! No! *pounding*

A sudden flash of light appears a scream from Meteora can be heard. Light was so bright that it can be seen from both Mewni and Earth, a light disappear when it stops taking away the curse, only Meteora's tattered dress was the one that remains.

Eclipsa: What... just happen?

Flame: As soon as you perform that spell, I used a technique that I was taught by my father's secret training, only to use it who is a curse or forced to be evil.

Star: Amazing...

With that being said, Flame was inverted back to his base form, losing lots of heat of Ultra Instinct Omen, making Flame's stamina close to zero. He was panting very bad, he almost fades to where the point he is going unconscious, but Star catches the unconscious tired Flame.
